This game was beautiful. Such an amazing story and the characters really grow on you. The gameplay was a lot of fun, but there was some parts that really felt like a grind. (fishing... and collecting... ugh) But outside of that, the gameplay was great! Fully recommend the game.

Final Fantasy VII Remake10
Apr 28, 2020
I'm a hardcore Final Fantasy fan, going back to the early 90's getting into the series back on the SNES. I've loved the original Final Fantasy VII, through out the years, it always remained as my top favorite game. And I can say, as a hardcore fan... This game. Was. Amazing! I loved the entire experience with this game! I'm going to get into all of the good and the bads about the game: Good: First, and most important. The story. The story was an amazing retelling. It stayed pretty true to the original with the major events, while adding a huge extra portion of Midgar. I loved getting to further explore and see Midgar. This was a good touch. Probably the best part of the story, was playing again a second time, and understanding the reasoning behind the ghost figures. Every time the story slightly derailed from the original game, they showed up pushing events in order to put it back on proper course. I'm surprised so many players from the original FFVII didn't catch this, and were confused by the ghost. For Example. Cloud was let go from helping Barrett at the next reactor, and instead Jessie was to take his spot. But the ghost show up and injure Jessie, forcing Cloud back into the group, like the original. Later in Chapter 17: Hojo begins to tell Cloud he is not soldier, which was to early for him to find out. Then the ghost appear separating Hojo from Cloud. Every time events changed, they were there to set it back on proper course. It was a really good touch. Materia Set up: I loved how they kept the Materia the same. It wouldn't be FFVII without the integrated materia into the weapons. However, now they added something else even better! The Weapon level sphere grid tree! This was incredible! I love being given free range to build a character the way I like. Being able to gain more power ups. And this was an amazing addition to the game! Lets keep the weapon level trees! Dialog: The voice acting was on point. And the dialog itself was really good. I was laughing with a few of the lines in the game. They really nailed the personalities of the characters. Cutscenes: The cut scenes looked amazing. This game was beautiful. It was a real treat on the eyes. I only with it had more cutscenes to sit back and watch. There was a lot of times they had a small 5 second dialog cut-scene and I wish they were longer. I wanted more interaction between the characters! And of course the music. I've always went back to the old school FFVII sound track to listen to the music. It helps me relax. The music in the remake is just as good and relaxing! The bad: (Even though I love this game! There are some things I wish were different.) Not enough early grinding spots: It's not an old school RPG unless you do tons of grinding! Well until you beat the game and get chapter select to return to spots. There isn't a whole lot of early game grinding for AP. There are a select few spots early on. But until you get to the arena, there isn't too much. Possibly to keep you from getting too over powers before a certain spot. After you finish the game and get chapter select it's much easier to return to certain spots to grind out that extra AP. Too Linear: This is only a minor problem. But a lot of chapters is the game are very linear and lack the open world free roam that FFVII had. I loved in chapter 14 it opened up a semi-free roam potion to go between sectors 5 and 6. And as this game only takes part in Midgar, that is good enough. But I am hoping that Part 2, once you enter the real world, brings on the true free roam. Giving us the entire world as our playground, much like the old school game! *Also, you need to keep in the Fort Condor mini game battle for part 1! I loved that mini game! * This was a long review. But strongly expresses all my viewpoints and love for this game!

Resident Evil 38
Apr 6, 2020
Now that I've completed 6 play through of the game (and obtained the platinum.) I'm ready for the thorough review. Nostalgia was strong with this game. As it was my favorite of the entire Resident Evil series. What's not to love about the OG Nemesis? While I loved this game, and it is nostalgia being the reason I rated so high. This game was a huge missed opportunity with how much they cut from the game. But the game has a few downs. The Bad: 1. The game is incredibly short. When I saw the trophy list to beat it in under 2 hours, I was worried. And my worry was valid. The game is way too short. They focus to much time on speed runs. If they would have dropped the speedruns, and focused on story and content, it would have boosted it to a perfect 10. The major point deduction stopping it from a perfect score was how short the game was. 2. Nemesis Stage 2. This was a let down. Instead of getting the bad ass tentacle beast of a nemesis stage 2, one of the scariest boss fights in Resident Evil 3 ps1, we got a dog fight. I loved the game. But this fight disapointed me. I was ready for the intense battle with Nemesis. But this werewolf form running in circles was a let down. They could have saved this form for the fight in the acid pit. Which we have that same fight again, with the same tactic. 3. The entire clock tower part was removed. That was a bit of a bummer. Now... The good: 1. This game is beautiful. It looks amazing. It plays amazing. And it feels amazing. There are a few old school jump scares mixed with the creepy environment that really make you just enjoy the scenery. 2. The original nemesis chance scenes are great. In the beginning, I loved the Nemesis hunt. 3. The feel of being back in Raccoon city, and seeing the old school ps1 city brought to life was pretty awesome. I loved Resident Evil. But they really need to bring back all the things they cut. And Merc mode! I felt a little jipped with the rewards shop. The old school Merc Mode to get points to buy in the store would have been a lot of fun. And then, the shop had very few items in it. Where is the Gatling gun!? Can we have a Resident Evil 3 Remake Remake please?

Final Fantasy VII10
Jan 29, 2020
By far the greatest Final Fantasy game and most definitely my favorite game of all time! The story is deep. Following Cloud along his adventures with Avalanche. Then the story takes a twist, getting deeper, and putting you on an even bigger journey. And when you begin to figure Cloud out, they throw in a large twist. Making nothing seem the way it appeared to be. I loved the twist of this game. And like most of the Final Fantasy games, the ending is always incredibly emotional and touching. Sound Track: I love the sound track from every final fantasy game. In fact, I even go to sleep to it playing at night. The hardest part, is hearing the song and fighting the urge to play the game again. The soundtrack is flawless. Gameplay: I loved the combat system. The use of Materia. The fact that you can switch your game play by switching, and linking new materia. This was a brilliant idea. If you wanted a magic user, give them magic based materia. Needed a fighter? Fighting materia to increase your strength. Then, get the weapons with linkings, to combined two materia, to make a deadly combo attack. There was so much greatness to this system. The mini games were also awesome. I loved the first mini game, defending the town by buying soldiers to walk down a pathway fighting. This was such a fun little mini game. And then coming to the arcade, allowing you to take a break from all the fighting, to just play through fun games, and get rewarded for it.Â

Leon and Claire quickly became my two favorite characters in the series. And even now, they still remain my top two. Leon: The rookie. With more skill than the well ventured officers. And Claire, the attractive, energetic girl, both taking the top spot of the series. I loved that this game had two different campaigns, both leading back to one another. You get to see what both characters were up to, while returning back to one another. The puzzles were good, but I felt like they got a little drawn out towards the end of the game. Yet I still really enjoyed the game. Adding Mister X, hunting you down the entire game, most definitely added a huge kick to the horror aspect to the game. Or at least, really built up a lot of the suspense.

Most definitely the first change to the series from survival horror, to horror action. Yet I still loved this game. (I mean, who could hate on Leon dodging the laser room? That was one of the most epic game scenes!) This game brought much more use for the knife. It actually held power and usefulness in this game. If you wanted to save ammo, you could shoot the zombie leg, then knife them to death. The storyline, like every other game, was really good. Hunting down and saving the presidents daughter. Fighting your way through a new addition to the zombies. A new plague. Using headshots, only to have their heads explode, making them significantly harder! The change in gameplay made this game much easier for the combat aspect. Being able to see where you're shooting, and aim your gun. Killing zombies became much easier with this new style. And like all resident evils, the puzzles were still there, making you think to proceed forward. For the longest time, this was my favorite Resident Evil game. It was a hard pick between 3 and 4.

From survival horror, to nearly pure action. I still enjoyed this game. Adding co-op was actually an amazing touch. The game is good. But playing with a friend is what made this game great! I've never replayed a game as many times as I have this one. The game changes scenes every chapter, keeping it a new look and new adventure each chapter. And I loved the chapter select. No more missing items. I like being able to return to a chapter to obtain an item or collectible should you miss one. The combat was a lot of fun in this game. But it did lack a lot of the horror games. No more Nemesis hunting you down. However, the combat made up for that. (And bringing back the chainsaw guy was a good addition. He still adds some scare factor.) The game got some hate for the switch to action. But I still found it a lot of fun fighting off zombies with a friend.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis10
Jan 27, 2020
One of my favorites of the entire series! (Bring on the remake!) The return of Jill Valentine, to see the aftermath of the zombie outbreak leading after the mansion. The whole free roam of the city was what made this game so much fun. It still had a linear story line, yet you could freely roam the entire city. And many sections make cameos. Returning to the police station, after Leon had left, and seeing what remains was a really good touch. Having puzzles throughout the whole city. IE: Find a lever, return to a gate you were previously stuck at, move to next area, stuck again. Return to find a new way around. This really changed it up from a basic linear pathway. And I found all of the puzzles fun and enjoyable. Then the horror. Oh man. Having Nemesis hunting you down throughout the entire game was so bad ass and terrifying. I played this game when I was ten. And having Nemesis hunt you down had my heart pounding while I tried to fight him. I can't wait to see him in the remake, and with so much better graphics. I'm expecting, instead of jump scare scenes, he will probably be after you throughout the entire game.

Jan 27, 2020
Great start to the series. I loved the horror aspect mixed with action. The storyline was solid. So good that, look, it broke off into a never ending series! The whole build up of the zombies, the danger and the threat, the bad guy, and good guys. Everything was built up perfectly. Setting it up nicely, for the destruction that awaited. The gameplay was fixed up a lot with the remastered version. Fixing the movements up a little. It was still a lot of fun, and manageable. The puzzles were good, and not too hard. But it was mostly the story and anticipation on what will come out at you next that kept you going.

Murdered: Soul Suspect7
Jan 17, 2020
This was one of the first few Ps4 games I had gotten. And it was a unique experience. The game is a short story based game about you solving the crime of your own murder. I really liked the whole concept of being dead and solving my own murder. The game play was interesting, and different. And the story was good. The collectibles were a pain as usual. But the game was easy enough. There is a little bit a suspense, going through the game. But that's pretty much all. There isn't a whole lot to do in the game, besides explore, and enjoy the story the game offers.

Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty9
Jan 17, 2020
Such an old game now... And it still holds up. After playing other RTS, I still find myself returning to Starcraft. I've played this game to death back when it first launched, and every year I return to it. A lot of other RTS games always try to over complicate the games. So I like the simplicity, yet still huge variety that Starcraft offers. The campaign mode is actually good for an RTS. Each three class, now with their own campaign as well. But main characters to follow their storylines. And of course, the many many custom maps and mods, arcade modes, and now the really fun co-op mode! I wish they'd expand upon the co-op mode and make some 4 player co-op modes. And then redo an entire full campaign with a co-op mode. I'd love to go through the campaign, gaining gas and mats and money, just like the normal campaign. But only with a friend. Upgrading our units differently as we go. And take on a full co-op campaign.

Probably the best of the best of the Halo games. (Or at least tied with Reach for being the best Halo game.) Halo 3 campaign was fun for the entirety, beginning to the end. The story was incredible, and a lot of fun. And all of the new weapons made the gameplay much more fun. I was never big on Multiplayer, but this game had amazing multiplayer. Much has improved since 1, this game was even better! Still had some of the reskin maps of the first game. Going through several sections, just to see its the same old map you've just gone through. But they did much better, they added way more unique maps with this game, than the first one. New maps, new weapons, new characters and great addition to the story! (The story is really the biggest part of Halo for me, the part that keeps me absorbed into the series.)

I really enjoyed and loved the story. However, the maps were all a reskin of the last. There was like three different locations, and then everything else was a clone of the last. (And handguns have never been more fun to use.)

Fallout 767
Jan 16, 2020
This game needs work. A lot of work. The co-op in the game was a great idea. But Bethesda did it so poorly, I feel they will drop it completely and never attempt it again. But what went wrong was making it a mini MMO. Instead of an entire open world, they should have started off with 4 player co-op. Or 8 player co-op. This would have had the game running significantly smoother, with less errors and problems. And cut down a huge amount of problems they had. And would have been much more fun for the players. I was really looking forward to playing a Fallout with friends. But having to worry about other people ruining the world, made it all the harder to play. The PVP combat system is a little broken. And I will admit to trolling a little bit in the game using their broken PVP combat against them. I would stand in front of players until they hit me in order to force PVP. This is a cheese way, but hey, if this is the system they gave us, then we gotta utilize it. The biggest downfall was the amount of people who used exploits for duplication, and got carried away, crashing the servers. Bethesda wasn't prepared to handle the amount of glitches and errors within the game. They really should have brought on a more experienced team to help them. At least for the first year of the game. However, I really hope they don't give up with the co-op. I hope they learn from their mistakes, and try again. Better. And perfect the next attempt at co-op.

Fallout 49
Jan 16, 2020
Fallout 4 switched things up a lot. They added settlements. And the ability to build your own settlements. Which I saw a lot of people disliked, oddly. I found it the best addition to the game they could have done! I spent more time with the settlements than anything else in the game. (and I spent around 100 hours on quests and exploration alone!) I really enjoyed building the settlements, the only thing I wish was it had bigger areas to build. After building a large town, my place cap was maxed, and I couldn't build anymore. After hours of building up one settlement, I'd need to spend hours savaging to restock my supply. And then it was off to the next settlement. However, I do wish they got attacked more often to test my defenses more. Outside of settlements there was the quest lines. The main quest was interesting. And as always, I enjoy the multiple different endings to the game. And much like all the other games, the vast world to explore and loot keeps you playing for hours. This is a great game and a great addition to the series.

Jan 16, 2020
After finishing 3, i couldn't wait for the next game. And I was so glad when New Vegas came out. While the layout and story differed a bit. At it's core, this was the same fallout I had loved. The combat was great, the map was vast with much to explore and loot. And, this game made melee OP, which I really enjoyed. Being out on the west coast wast different, but interesting to see how the war affected the area out there. And gave Bethesda a chance to experiment with brand new factions, out side of the ones we already knew. New Vegas was just as great **** as 3!

My first introduction to the fallout games, and after looking back at 1 and 2, Fallout 3 changed for the better! This game was my first dive into the open world type of game. And I loved every moment of it. I've always been hyped for another Fallout game after this one. The VATS were great, and made combat easier, minus when it had a 1 percent chance to hit someone when you were two feet away. Sometimes it was iffy, but it was still great to use. The main questline is interesting, but I think it's the vast world that makes this game. Everywhere to go, explore, loot, etc. There is so much to do.

Jan 11, 2020
The story was really good, but what pulled this game off was all the hugely new variety of powers. Switching between smoke, and light, and sound. That was unique and a lot of fun. The story was still good, and interesting. But the combat and game play was the main working point for this game. It was just fun racing through the city, or flying above. And dropping down into fights to use all the new abilities you had obtained. This game was the prime for the series for combat. And, although it doesn't look like we'll get another one... this game strongly deserves another in the series!

Most definitely the best of the series! They switched from comic cut scenes to real cut scenes, which I liked. And the story in this game was amazing. If you were as attached to Cole as I had become over the two games, this game was an emotional one. The story was done amazingly, and I barely wanted to quit playing. Even now, years later, this story stands out to me. And the new powers were awesome. I loved the lightning, but I liked switching it up. Getting the fire flying abilities made it much more fun to travel around the city. It made it more fun trans versing the large city.

I didn't care for the comic book like cut scenes, however. I would have much rather actual cut scenes. I felt it was too hard to be absorbed into the great story that was there with just the comic style cut scenes. But the story was still good enough to keep me absorbed into the game. This was an awesome Sony exclusive.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep4
Jan 8, 2020
Shadowkeep ruined everything about Destiny. Everything is given to you. It seems as if they punish players who bought this at launch. We spent a lot of money buying it on launch, and all the DLC. And now everything we did was worthless. Players get in now, and are instantly boosted to power 750, and handed everything that year 1 players spent years working for. The small amount of content to the game was taken away. Now why bother play the story when you get nothing from it? No need to play the story for light. By giving everything away, you gave your entire game and all the DLC maybe 6 hours of actual content. Bad move.

This game was the opposite of 1. As 1 got new content, it became better. But this, as new content came out it got worse. I feel Shadowkeep ruined this game. Everything is given to you, with no work. You start off at 750 light. The story was short as it was, now there is no reason at all to go through the story, or any other of the content. This is the only game that punished you for playing at launch. Putting hours into the game, paying all the money for the DLC. and now people jump in, starting off instantly with everything you put a lot of hard work in for. Way to just hand your game away, bungie. Bad move. Destiny 2 was a lesser Destiny 1. I still had fun playing it. But it wasn't as great.

This story was a bit of a turd. The game wasn't horrible. But it was kind of a let down compared to the previous two games. There was no spook or horror aspect to the game anymore. The story was bland and weird. They did a good job connecting the other games together. Other than that, eh. They should have done it differently. The Co-op was the only thing really keeping me into this game. I loved playing with a friend, and switching between the two characters. Having Paxtons telekinetic powers was so much fun. Then joining and venturing with a friend. But still, the story needs work, and a better ending.

Another really good story based game, following right after 1. I did miss point man. But I felt Bucket was a good addition to progress the story. I felt the gameplay and combat was much more smooth in this game, making it a lot of fun to play. The story, still a little creepy, was lacking some of the horror of the first game. This one was more action. With Alma being an adult now, she didn't have the scare factor to her anymore.

This game is great, and a lot of fun with friends. However, the controls are a little rough at first, until you get used to them. They also need more added to it. After surviving and building up a base, the game gets too easy. After like day 50 and day 100, they should increase the difficulty and add much more zombies in the red moon. Also, there is no reason the server should only hold 4 players. Specifically if they add a trophy to kill 2,000 other players. When only 4 people can join the game? That is ridicules. The game could use a few updates and add more content to the game. But for what it is, it's still a lot of fun for a survival game.

I loved building the towns, finding out who enjoyed what and where they belonged in the town. That was my favorite part. The dungeon crawling was all a side objective to do just to get more pieces of the town! Although. I will say, the combat was pretty good. The sword breaking and needing repairs didn't bother me too much like it did others. I was always careful and never had problems. Yet I could see how it could be frustrating. The game was fun, up till the end. I started to get a little burnt out, and was ready for the end in the last castle, which they decided to add more floors than ever before. Yet minus the grind in the end. The game was still a whole lot of fun to play.

A lot of time the choices didn't change or do much. But when I saw "This person will remember this" I always thought Oh shi- something is about to go down! I thought the story was pretty solid. It could have had a little more horror aspect to it, but still a damn good story. Let's see another one!

South Park: The Fractured But Whole7

This game was decent, but I missed the simplicity of the stick of truth. I felt too much more was added to this game, making the fights longer than they should have been. They were still fun, and I really enjoyed the powers. Switching between different super powers, and trying each move out was fun. But at times, I missed the stick of truth combat. The story was like watching en episode of south park--that ran a little too long. It was funny, and interesting. But I felt they added to much to the game. Towards the end I kept finding myself thinking, is this it? There is more? I still enjoyed the game though. And still hope for another one.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands9

One of my top favorite shooters! This game was a lot of fun to play. (and with breakpoint out now, it makes me miss this game.) Having the drone abilities was a great touch int he game. I loved being able to drone EMP the convoys, or explode the drone on something I need blown up. And of course, above all, the heal drone skill made the game. The gun selection was good, and it was fun switching between. But there was way too many collectibles! Way too many! Cut down the collectibles in games, or end all collectibles. Or, with having it co-op, at least allow collectibles collected by a friend count for everyone. Other than that, this was a great co-op game! Way better than a game like Fay Cry 5 that advertises as full co-op experience, and then doesn't even give credit to the co-op partner for completing the missions, forcing you to do it twice.

Gauntlet (2014)5

This game had major potential. Being as the last games they had, back on the PS1 and then Seven Sorrows on Ps2 were both really good. I had high hopes going into this game. But like most games now. They ruined their potential. They took away the fun of venturing through a co-op campaign game. And instead gave us a map board. The game was fun for a little while. But no mazes, or real exploration. Just a linear path of enemies. Not as fun as the older games. It was definitely lacking. The combat was basic, the skills and equipment were lacking. It's not great when the old PS1 game had more to it than the newest one.

Marvel's Spider-Man9

The story in this game is the second best thing! Right next to the free roaming web slinging across the city, the way the game is meant to be played! I've played a lot of spiderman games. And nothing came close to Spiderman 2 on the Ps2 back in the day. Allowing free roam around the city. Yet this game up and surpassed that one. Exploring the large city of New York was so much fun. The web slinging felt smooth and easy. I loved the speed boost, and never veen having to touch the ground, going around the entire city. And then the story. The story pulled me in, and I was attached to the characters. I loved the way they portrayed Peter and MJ in this game. It kept the humor spiderman deserves and I was laughing at all the minor jokes and conversations. The only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 was the long grind to 100%. While I loved free roaming. There was way too many crimes around the city, too many side collectible missions. I didn't mind the side missions or collectibles. But getting an S rating in all the side fights, where there was a dozen in each city section became too much. The story was around 6-8 hours to finish. Where the clean up was 20 hours. I'd rather more to the story, and less trying to go around grinding out crimes.

This was a great game to play with a few friends. However, if you don't have friends to play with, this game can be a bit painful. The harder difficulties can be grueling without a good team to work together with. Playing with rando's might cause a lot of failure. However, if you have good players or good teamwork, its a great co-op game! There isn't any story mode. Just maps to play. So after a while it can get redundant after you've played all the maps a dozen times. And there are only three bosses to rotate between. Overall, it was fun to play with a group.

Warhammer: Vermintide 28

This game is a lot of fun co-op. Much better than a few triple A games that claim to be a full co-op experience, then fall short. However, I wish they had made an actual 4 player co-op campaign. With a story to absorb us into the wonderful world of the Warhammer universe. This game is just multiple map modes, where you go through the map, killing enemies, then move to the next map. Then go back and redo the same maps to grind out levels, with no story to keep you absorbed. But the gameplay is great. Due to the lack of story, it can get boring fairly quickly. It's awfully grindy, so that's another bad thing. One great thing, is the Twitch Stream mode. As I stream on ****/JesterTRT this is a great function that more games need! It allows the viewers to interact and change what we fight. This function needs more work, and needs to be edited slightly. More added to it. Such as setting up so streamers gain coins in stream by chatting. After obtaining so many coins, they can have a list of a dozen good, and a dozen bad. And they choose what happens by spending their coin. The more coins they earn, they can send a large boss. Or get a few coins and send a small horde. Or gain coins and send us a health pack. Overall, it's an awesome function, regardless.

Final Fantasy XV8

This was a much needed return to when Final Fantasy were great games! The last several games have been kind of horrible. Since FFX, the rest have been kind of a flop. But this one brought back everything that was good about Final Fantasy. Great story, amazing gameplay and combat, characters you can get attached too. And, like the best of games, a crazy twist ending that leaves you feeling. The magic and combat was smooth and fun. The new abilities they added, allowing to teleport around by throwing your sword made the combat really fast paced, which I enjoy.

This was my favorite of the "Souls" type game series. I liked the dark theme, and the level design. I do think the co-op in these games needs a bit of work. It is annoying having to redo the game 3 different times, because I like to play these with two other people. I would like to group up and go though once. So the co-op needs work. But the combat felt more fluid than the souls games. The story, like all these types of games, is missing. You need to find it in hidden lore, or piece together small bits of one sentences. Or else just make up your own assumptions. So there is no story to keep you drawn to the game. Luckily the game play itself was good. .

I'm not a huge Disney fan. But I started playing the first KH when I was young. And I decided I will finish the original trilogy. Although the dialog was pretty cringe most of the time, and I never liked Donald and Goofy as companions. The gameplay itself was actually pretty good. The story was decent. And it wasn't as bad as expected. I actually enjoyed playing the game. The combat, fighting, magic system, equipment were all fun. And the open world, with no missable stuff was great! Overall, it was a pretty decent game.

Secret of Mana (Remaster)9

This game is a major blast from the past! It's done so accurately to the old SNES game. They boosted he graphics, added little extra cut scenes and interacting dialog, which was a good touch. Otherwise, it's basically the exact core SNES game from my childhood. The only thing I wish was they changed minor things. Such as allowing online multiplayer. It's hard to play couch co-op now a days. And to add in the buttons R2 and L2 for quick buttons for skills. Otherwise, this game is a beauty.

The Single player is solid. It has a good story, decent game play. However, for trophy hunters, the amount of collectibles is a bit painful. Pendants, comics, optional conversation, joke conversations. Then gears for gun upgrades, plants for skill upgrades. I'm not big on collectibles. However, the story makes it a good game. However, the multiplayer is horrible. If it wasn't for trophies, and trying to hunt the platinum, this mode in not even worth looking at. It doesn't belong in this type of game, at all. It was broken and horrible. This multiplayer mode is the main reason it was dropped down a few points.

Battlefield V0

This is by far the worst of the battlefields. First: The story is lacking. It's such a let down. You can tell they put no effort into making it. It's short, bland, boring. It's a disappointment. Then the game is littered with so many glitches that it would make Fallout 76 look good. If you're going for trophies, forget it. They keep removing content you need for trophies out of the game. Then they glitch and you can't obtain the trophy. Next: The landscape cuts out constantly. You'll be walking, and then suddenly the ground is gone, and you're walking on thin air. this game is horrible.

HZD is a big grab and hook. I started it and found it hard to stop playing. I had the platinum trophy in a week because of how much I kept playing. I loved the various bow abilities you could switch between. Each allowed you a different play style, or different tactics to bring the bots down. Once you dice into the main story, the actual story was good. A destroyed world, taken over by robots, only to learn where they came from and what really happened. It really pulls you in.

This was my favorite game of 2017! It had an amazing story, awesome gameplay and characters that really hooked me in. The combat was smooth and a lot of fun. Building up the O.S for more strength was a good touch for this game. I really liked the story and the ways the characters developed and changed. I've got to give it up to Yoko Taro, he knows how to build a really good story with an ending that gets to you.
