Final Fantasy XV

This is one of my favourite games of the year and it's one I'd encourage any previous Final Fantasy fan to consider. Besides the brilliant nods to the series past — adorable retro touches like pixel art character menus and classic game soundtracks you can buy in servos and listen to in the Regalia — this is a game that's doing something new and great with what's come before. It's the fondest I've felt about the series since VIII.

Some great character depth as well as an overhaul to both the Final Fantasy formula and battle system makes Final Fantasy XV a delight for existing fans and new players.The title is a huge step in the right direction for a franchise that has staggered in recent years.

It may not be the very masterpiece we were waiting for, but despite all its flaws, FINAL FANTASY XV manages to be the ultimate JRPG we've needed for a long time.

There is so much good here, so much heart - especially in the relationships between Noctis and his sworn brothers. It just comes with some changes and compromises that were, at times, difficult for this long-time Final Fantasy fan to come to grips with.

Final Fantasy XV brings back some of what made FF special to begin with - it's bold and brave, throwing caution to the wind to try to make a statement about what big budget Japanese RPGs can be going forwards. It's rough around the edges, but that's okay: where it counts, it's got plenty of heart.

Final Fantasy XV is definitely a memorable tale told with impressive production values. However, it's plagued by gameplay that basically plays itself, insufferable wait times, and a story that fails to establish itself before thrusting you into its world.

Un JRPG moderno che unisce open world, storia epica e dinamiche di combattimento action in tempo reale. La storia segue Noctis e i suoi compagni in un’avventura emozionante tra amicizia, dovere e destino, con momenti drammatici, ironici e toccanti che rendono il legame tra i **** credibile e **** combat system è fluido e spettacolare, con magie, armi e tecniche speciali che offrono varietà e strategia in tempo reale. L’open world è vasto e pieno di missioni secondarie, dungeon e segreti, anche se alcune zone risultano meno ispirate o ripetitive. La grafica e la colonna sonora contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera memorabile, con paesaggi e città vivaci e dettagliate.Alcuni cali narrativi e side quest meno interessanti non intaccano il fascino complessivo del gioco, che rimane un’esperienza epica e appagante per i fan del genere.

Okay, before I go into why I would rate this game a 6.7 or 7, I want to say it is not a bad game. First off, we need to understand that Final Fantasy stories started declining after X, but I feel like XV tried to bring back the golden era of FF. That said, the story is kind of lame and pointless. You play as a royal prince who leaves his homeland because it was invaded and honestly, that feels just meh for me. The combat is satisfying. This action RPG system, which later evolved into FFVII Remake, finally pays off. But the characters are just okay, and you do not have full control over your allies, unlike classic FF games like VI or **** graphics are excellent. It feels like GTA V in a JRPG version. There is a lot to do, but because of that, many side missions are lame. You often end up picking objects or repeating the same task multiple **** is not a bad game, but it feels weak compared to Final Fantasy X, which I feel is when the series started to decline.

J’ai fais ce jeu sur le ****, en 2023, après avoir vu le film que j’ai trouvé lui excellent. Mais le jeu c’est une déception. Le gameplay est nul, les persos je n’ai pas accroché, et le monde ouvert… sans commentaire. Du vide qu’il faut parcourir pendant des heures. Je ne l’ai pas fini, je n’y arrive pas et pourtant j’ai terminé tous les FF numéroté. Dommage car je suis sûr que je passe à côté d’un scénario excellent mais les défauts sont bien trop nombreux pour prendre plaisir à jouer.
