We can safely say the uncanny heroes are still on their A-game. .... While some figures like Cyclops, Professor X (Ross Marquand), and Jubilee (Holly Chou) get some screentime, others like Wolverine (Cal Dodd), Storm (Alison Sealy-Smith), and especially Rogue (Lenore Zann) have shockingly little to do in the first four episodes of Season 2. It's hard to gauge how the show will balance this based on the first four episodes, but it may be a sign that X-Men '97 has one too many characters to juggle at this point.

Fantastic three episodes. Storm, Jubilee and a Cable story that isn't boring.

It's 100% fan service for 90s kids, and it's glorious. Over the top in the best way. You can have all those other fandoms, X-Men for life!

Season 2 started out strong but it lost a lot of steam with ep 5. It's not bad but the quality really dropped over time with a few high notes here and there. I hope they'll be able to pick it up in s3 because this was a bit of a let down

Episode 6 is one of the weakest adaptations in the series. It adapts the *Danger* storyline from 2006 in a show that is supposed to take place in the '90s, making the timeline feel inconsistent from the start.Even worse, Emma Frost's central role in the original story is completely removed and handed to Polaris, making the adaptation feel disconnected from its source material. At this point, it's hard not to notice the creators' apparent dislike for certain characters, especially Emma Frost. Constantly sidelining or rewriting her role does a disservice to the incredible development she has received in the comics over the years.
