Kingdom Hearts III doesn’t go in the direction some RPG fans will no doubt have been hoping for. It’s unashamedly over the top in just about every way, from its barmy story and stunning presentation to its huge cinematic battles. There’s plenty of depth here too, though you’ll need to find your bearings first.

There is no doubt that Kingdom Hearts III will make long term fans moved or even cry. As for those new to the franchise, I believe they also can be satisfied because of tons of classic Disney elements and solid combat system, even though they could barely understand the main story.

C'era tutto il potenziale affinché questo fosse il miglior Kingdom Hearts: il gameplay, infatti, è incredibilmente pieno di varietà tra keyblade scambiabili in tempo reale, gameplay diversi in quasi ogni modo (in particolare in quello dei Pirati dei Caraibi), abilità esclusive tra ****; il gioco è facile, ma la modalità critica viene in soccorso da questo punto di vista. Il problema vero è la trama: io amo kingdom hearts, e difenderò per sempre la libertà artistica e creativa che lo caratterizza, ma, questa volta, veramente non si capisce nulla; non solo, questa totale mancanza di senso logico fa perder mordente a momenti del finale in particolare che sarebbero stati magnifici. C'è fiducia per la nuova saga e per KH4, ma è necessario che venga fatto un lavoro di sceneggiatura importante, per non rischiare definitivamente di diventare un "tutto a caso" (in parte già lo è, bisogna cercar di ritrovare un minimo di credibilità). Re-mind e le bossfight con i dati dell'organizzazione 13 meriterebbero il 9, che però, non può arrivare.

Great conclusion to the trilogy (and 10 other games). The combat in this game is the best so far and always enjoyable. Exploring Disney worlds is thrilling.

Coming off a 6-month marathon of the other KH games available on console, I finally set my sights on 3 after taking a small break in-between 2 and BBS. I really enjoyed playing it, but I will say I did not like the Big Hero 6 world or the Frozen world that much. Playing on regular, I think the mix of experience of playing KH games and that this game really is not as difficult of the others led me to not have any frustrating moments (looking at you KH1 Ansem and the room right before that I had to clear out twice because I didn't know there was a savepoint right before the Ansem fight)

The developer has refined and perfected the combat. It kept its silliness in tact. It kept in the darker themes and deep moments of self-reflection that we all need every once in awhile. It’s, quite frankly, the best Kingdom Hearts game Square Enix has ever created.

Kingdom Hearts III is finally here, and the story of 7 guardians of light and 13 forces of darkness is now over. A story full of exciting, happy and sad moments that tries to show us that friendship is a force so strong that can defeat just anything.

Super good game. Personally,I liked it even more than KH2, due to its wonderful worlds and combact system. I played all the games in a row on critical difficulty and I can tell you that KH3 was the hardest after maybe KH1, so stop with this story that it's too easy, because KH2 was more. People hate on this game just because they don't appear in the main game (but they do in the DLC though). If you want to fight sephiroth again, for the THIRD TIME, I suggest you to play FF7 instead. Very soon part 3 will drop. That's your game, bro, since Kingdom Hearts has never been about Sephiroth.

Best gameplay of the series and fun selection of words. Story-wise it has the same problems as the previous games, but I still find it overall enjoyable.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is already one of the best games for me personally in 2019. Because of the childhood memories, the staging, the fun fights and the great mix of epic square fantasy and the winking Disney style. Besides, it just makes me happy to beat the styled, overpowering villains with a cactus.

I played the game both on Playstation 5 , and portably on Steam Deck OLED and Playstation Portal, it is great that it's getting more accessible to PC players as well in 2024, Of course to such a beloved top-tier series by Square Enix & Disney, to me personally there's nothing not to absolutely LOVE about this franchise, but the latest game KINGDOM HEARTS 3 came out after many many years, a decade of no release since KINGDOM HEARTS 2, the expectations were insane, and with that every part of the story , the worlds, the music and the gameplay sections and mini games have been judged harshly , but this game to me is a masterpiece, also one of the most beautiful and visually impressive games ever made, and without any spoilers, the story is decent, the cutscenes are sharp and some of them have a big wow factor to them, voice acting is good, gameplay is super fun with amazing vibrant worlds to explore, amazing combat and special attacks and summons, beautiful looking guest characters with great gameplay and fusion attacks with the best of the best of Disney Characters, which will join you in each and every world, also, one of the very best games ever to FREE ROAM in. 10/10 on any platform (Playstation, Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, all run and perform amazing -of course AVOID The Cloud Nintendo Switch version at all costs!! terrible way to release it on that platform.)

I played Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 right before I started this game, so I know this is not nostalgia blinding me when I say there is an unimaginable level of drop-off in charm. Kingdom Hearts 1 is a little choppy, but still an overall great time, and honestly I appreciate the fact that it came before we got so bogged down in lore. KH3 is the polar opposite. You can hardly run for 2 minutes before getting caught up in yet another 5 minute cutscene filled with terribly paced, written, and delivered dialogue. For my sanity, I eventually had to start indiscriminately skipping cutscenes, and sometimes it would be a sequence of 3 or 4 separate cutscenes all stringed together. And it ****, because the core gameplay is fun enough. The new key blade mechanics are a little overpowered at points, but the combat can still be a ton of fun. If you removed the cutscenes from this game, it would raise the score by at least a couple points. The variety of gameplay sections is welcome, but when I'm skipping the dialogue, there's no context, and no real emotional anchor. You could say that's on me, I suppose, but there's also no chance in hell I would finish this game if I couldn't skip them. Hard to understate how much the writing drags this game down.
