Resident Evil 2 Remake is everything a remake should aspire to be. It captures the feel of the original almost perfectly while updating and improving almost everything. It has its flaws, but nothing detracts from the excellent experience. It's fun, spooky, and everything Resident Evil 2 was — but even better. Fans of the franchise and newcomers should enjoy themselves greatly. If you like killing zombies, you owe it to yourself to try out RE2 Remake.

Resident Evil 2 plays its cards very well, and offers its benefits to a level of excellence that make this remake a title that's indispensable.

Resident Evil 2’s remake highlights just how great Capcom’s first sequel in the Resident Evil series ways, but does it in a way that makes it the most compelling entry in the series thus far. It’s smart changes merge with the classic design expertly, while its atmosphere is rich thanks to gorgeous lighting and incredible sound design. It’s a reminder of the past, but this remake would be a fine direction for the future of Resident Evil.

Aside from the disappointing 2nd Run scenarios, I feel confident in saying that this is the best Resident Evil game ever released. It brings back everything that fans loved from the PS1 classic, and presents it in a fresh, modern way that's both exciting and nostalgic in a modern age.

In spite of its progression carrying the weight of the years and its strongly cliche scenario, Resident Evil 2 remains an exciting game in its mode of thought, its inventiveness and its execution.

By trying to please so many different players the game will probably not satisfy anyone completely. Resident Evil veterans will feel like it is a bit too simple and unfaithful. New players will wonder about the 90s logic in spending so much time looking for keys so you can politely unlock doors when your backpack is loaded with rocket launchers and oversized shotguns which could just as easily have blown them off their hinges.

This game is freaking magnificent is perfect, is the best horror game I’ve ever played it was actually scary a couple times, graphics and mechanics really good and story and dialogues pretty solid gameplay is fun as well and is not that long is just a pretty solid game

Um baita jogo. A ambientação é muito bem feita e a história se destaca bastante em relação aos primeiros jogos. A gameplay não é das melhores, mas também não chega a atrapalhar. No geral, é um jogo muito sólido.

Absolute peak survival horror. Perfectly balanced on resources that keeps you right in the limit of being alive and having what you need to keep going. But puzzles are a big part of this game, more than action based games in the franchise. And this is why I’m not ever playing one of these again. Confusing maps, a lot of backtracking trying to find the right path. It’s hard not having to google or watch videos to advance. Had fun but also a lot of frustration.

I absolutely hate this game. For me, it’s the worst in the RE series. Awful story, boring gameplay, and the dumbest puzzles ever. Feels like the devs had a contest for who could make the most ridiculous puzzles. It’s not even hard. I finished it first run in 7 hours and 18 minutes.
