Marvel’s Spider-Man is the best gaming representation of the legendary comic book character to date. Insomniac nailed the smartass tone that has been his calling card better than anyone else and the core action is faster here, with a solid blend of combat and world exploration. It looks great and controls like a dream. Spider-Man has had his troubles in gaming, but Insomniac’s effort checks all the boxes for a top-shelf Spidey experience and delivers a solid storyline that brings its own unique universe to the mix to tell an all-new tale that keeps you engaged and adds some gravitas to everything you do.

This is best Spider-man game ever made, and one of the top games on PlayStation 4. There’s a little something here for everyone and even if you’re just a fan of the movies or a die-hard that reads the plethora of Spidey comic books, you will find something to love.

Marvel's Spider-Man does a spectacular job of making you feel like the ultimate Spider-Man. From swinging through the city at high speed to fighting off legions of enemies by zipping between them and pulling them into the air, its gameplay looks like a scene from the films. It's remarkably well realised in terms of its world, design, and even technically, with short loading times and a rock solid framerate even on the base PlayStation 4. If Spider-Man is your thing, then this is an essential purchase.

Since the announcement of the game, Insomniac seemed to be the ideal developer for a Spider-Man game and in the end it delivered to this expectation. From beginning to end it is an absolute joy to move in high speeds between and over the skyscrapers of Manhattan as the friendly neighborhood hero, as well as getting involved in satisfying combat situations (with the obligatory Arkham inspiration). It’s a great game that’s shy from being amazing due to the forgettable and in the end derivative open world elements.

It is at its core a forgettably designed, cookie-cutter open-world game, that is elevated by its traversal, its combat and stealth, by the eventually irresistible pull of its story. It may not have legs, but while it lasts it is delightful. The Amazing Spider-Man? Not quite. But it is frequently spectacular, and given Parker's rather chequered videogame past, that feels like some achievement. [Issue#324, p.104]

This game shows tremendous love for all things Spider-Man, and the ending packs a punch he would be proud of. But Insomniac relies too much on its hero to elevate the world built around him, with the result that the game wears thin some time before its powerful conclusion.

Bel gameplay ma storia veramente deludente e molto semplice. Seppur il gameplay é veramente bello dopo le prime 10 ore inizia a stufare, poca varietà. Comunque il gioco si lascia giocare.

The game has nice gameplay but the story isnt perfect and the game gets repective after a while

It was fine spider man. Gets little old in gameplay though. But i like the selection of boss characters in this spider man game. Felicia Hardy being in this game was cool
