I loved the first game and its expasion. The second game made some turns in the wrong direction. The Beast gives you back that feeling from the first game. It has some minor flaws but is overall a great game.
This was my first Silent Hill game I loved it from start till finish. The atmosphere is dark and the story is tense. The only bad thing was some stuttering from the game engine and some confusing puzzles.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is for sure not a bad game but I played it and I did not understand the hype around this game. The battle mechanics and the plot twist are great but aside from that I didnt find anything outstanding about this game.
You can instantly tell sweet baby inc. was involved in the game development. The game is not focused on an interesting story but on political correctness. This comes from someone who loved the previous LiS games.
The first few hours were so promising. But then the game goes downhill really quick. The NPCs and sidesquests are boring. The main story becomes meaningless. Nevertheless the boss fights were great till the end.
Great game with stunning visuals and good mechanics. But they had to include people of color in a greek mythology. This was not very fitting and was a forced decision.
Great game with an amazing story, great expansion and good gameplay mechanics . But the gameplay itself and the side quests are too repetitive at times. The biggest downside for me were the dumb enemies.
For me the first Alan Wake was an average game and there was nothing special about it. But this one instantly feel different. They really improved significantly over the first game in every direction.
This game is my personal surpise of the year 2021. I didnt expect much but the game got a very nice written story with good graphics and overall good gameplay.
I get the reason why some people are not happy with the game. But for me it was enjoyable for the most times. The story, graphics and gameplay are well done.
Many people rate this game bad just because of the price. But the game itself is still a very good remaster of the original game. If you dont like the price, just wait a few months.
