Hitman 2 follows the 2016 game in almost every aspect. It looks and feels pretty similar, which is nothing less than a good thing, concerning the quality of the first game. For now, we should ask for nothing more, but let us hope a new installation brings yet another evolution to the table.

A killer sandbox that is hurt by repetitiveness and linear approach in levels. But once you manage to use your imagination, you’ll start enjoying the game, worthy of agent 47. [Issue#292]

Hitman 2 is not leaps and bounds better or even different than its predecessor, as it feels less like a sequel and more like the second season. However, it manages to hit the mark where it truly matters with expansive level designs and a wealth of gameplay options that makes playing through the same missions multiple times consistently fun but feel different every time.

This game didnt click that much with me. Hitman 2 is a puzzle game in which you haave to figure out how to kill your targets, they give you a map, tools and you got to be creative with it. The thing is, i just kinda dont understand how it could be fun. Its very easy to sneak up to someone and just kill it with an easy shot with your silenced pistol or distract a guard with a coin and choke the target while they arent looking. You have many ways to do it, but after the first time where you figure it out it doesnt feel as fun, in a game like dishonored the first time i play a level i haave to figure out many things, pathways, routes to kill, how to avoid guards, etc, and the subsequent runs i can not only take a different path but i can do the same one with far more style. Hitman instead i play it once, figure everything out and then when i replay it i can pretty much do the same exact thing but a bit faster, or take one of the mission stories, but how fun is it doing them, without a guide turned on there is not enough hints given to figure out where something or someone is most of the time, and with them it just becomes too easy and feels like going A to B with no real reward behind. Hitman 2 executes its premise well, but to me my issue is, that i do not find that premise exciting, silent assasin suit only is a bit funner but still, most of the elements i do not find joy in replaying them, i can kill someone dressing as X and then doing X thing or do the same but with another thing, it doesnt seem fun to me. If you like the premise you will love it but to me, it just isnt it. Btw, the storyline is pretty fun, short but fun. And game looks and runs good

"Hitman 2" is more or less "Hitman 1.5". It plays exactly the same as its predecessor, but with some minor refinements. Also, unlike the first game, this sequel is a fully featured title. There is no episodic DLC. And for better or worse, the levels are much bigger in scope. There are dozens of ways to complete assignments and execute "marks" in each map. Every level is beautifully designed and series veterans will want to discover every nook and cranny. But new fans might be overwhelmed at the complex designs. "Hitman 2" also introduces the Sniper Assassin challenge maps which are simple, but fun. They remind me of the old "Silent Scope" arcade games. Of the three modern "Hitman" games, this second one is probably the least impressive. But it's still very good. I'd rate it with an 8.3 out of 10.

Me he comprado el hitman 2 hace poco y de lo bueno que era me los e pasado en 3 días, la formas de matar son casi infinitas. Es una pasada.

As with the 2016 reboot of Hitman, Hitman 2 is one of the best games of the year and is so far my personal Game of the Year.

As it is in life, perception and consideration go a very long way here, and players who are willing to put in the proper amount of time and effort will see just how perplexing, engaging, and rewarding stealth action games can be. Hitman 2 will undoubtedly serve to define the stealth genre for years to come, and I can't wait to see where IO Interactive takes the series next.

The new destinations are even more gorgeous than the first game, you want to explore each level thoroughly in order to discover more ways to kill your target.

Hitman 2 feels more like a second season rather than a sequel, but that’s not a bad thing at all. It is bigger, better and more complex, and offers even more possibilities for fans of stealth games.

Each mission in Hitman 2 is a treasure trove of wonderful emergent gameplay, excellent satirical writing, and lashings of delicious, jet-black humour. The targets you'll hunt are almost universally rotters which thankfully takes care of any lingering moral quandaries you may have about their imminent demise. It's better that way. We really don't want to feel bad about tinkering with an old man's oxygen tank so it blows up and kills him when he sparks up a cigarette, do we?

Hitman 2 is a pretty safe bet from IO Interactive, giving us a solid new game of the series that doesn't create anything new.

Hitman 2 is a familiar experience, but in the Hitman world, familiarity is an incredible strength.

Hitman 2 is a disappointing follow-up. Instead of working to expand on the elements that worked in the previous entry, there's been a misguided effort to simply add bullet-points to the back of the box. A bad story, less impressive levels, and superfluous new modes leave the sequel lacking an identity, like 47 himself.

It re-proposes what was seen in the previous chapter with some novelties in terms of settings, graphics and gameplay, but it seems like a copy of the previous one updated with new missions without a great deal of work in terms of story or game development compared to the previous one.

I was thrilled with the last instalment, limited as it may have been, but this unfortunately smacked of being a 1.5 version of that game. It's essentially the same game with different maps which don't quite work imo. For instance I enjoy sniping more than other methodical methods of eliminating a target and I can honestly say Grand Theft Auto has better sniping than the current gen Hitman games. Add to this the lack of inventiveness on the popular Elusive Targets, tacked on multiplayer and co-op modes which are less than demos and the cash grab season pass tripe and it all adds up to a lacklustre entry in the series.
SummaryTravel the globe and track your targets across exotic sandbox locations in Hitman 2. From sun-drenched streets to dark and dangerous rainforests, nowhere is safe from the world's most deadly assassin, Agent 47. Prepare to experience the ultimate spy thriller story -- your mission is to eliminate the elusive Shadow Client and unravel his ... Read More
