I didn't expect anything from this South Park RPG, but The Stick of Truth is one of the best license games ever made. It's as obnoxious as the TV series, as it should be. The script is made with love and the RPG elements fit in to the franchise like a glove. [March 2014]

The game is awesome, it has a good story and jokes, the game is funny and relaxing, but you can get into it and play it for several hours, the character leveling and side quests and characters were awesome, the whole game is amazing and the combat was great

Such a great game. Creative gameplay and hilarious especially for fans of the series.

If it were just five or more hours longer in content, South Park: The Stick of Truth would have struck the perfect balance between writing, gameplay, humor, and length. Not since Earthbound and Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars has there been a turn-based RPG with such a distinct style and with so many memorable moments.

Critical Hit
More than just a faithful adaptation of a cult TV series. It's a benchmark for translating a favourite property into a video game format, something that other licensed properties could learn from. And it's also the funniest game on the market.

The game takes its time to ramp up the pace but when it gets going, it doesn't stop. [Issue #240]

The Stick of Truth is a great game, no doubt. Sadly, the adventure is brief one that leaves you craving more. This is a testimony to the sublime quality that's on offer here, but doesn't change the fact that you're a bit unsatisfied when you're done with it. Still, if you like the series at all, you should absolutely play this.

The length is less to blame than the overall design as an RPG, where players will notice things such as a striking contrast between pacing when considering how strong the story is. Stick of Truth’s main concern ultimately lies in its ability to match a good game to a really entertaining premise, which is a far more alienating factor than whether people like your show.

i have never seen a game based around a tv show that actually pulls of the feelings of immersive-ness as well as the stick of truth, and it does this while being extremely fun and comedic.

It's just sad that we can 100% the game. Fun, but way too many missable contents.

Really creative game with lots of funny ideas and gags about other games or media at all. Plot is really funny and engaging but the formula and the gameplay can be really boring by the end. Luckily this game is not too long so it can be accomplished in about 10 hours.

The game itself has a lot of South Park-ness in it. There's some actually funny moments all throughout the game and a lot of references for fans. But the game itself, as an RPG, is actually not that good. The combat is mind-numbingly boring and broken, there are a couple of broken things you can use to pretty much win every encounter, from the very beginning of the game. Traversal is also bad, the game plays like ****, it feels like an old Flash game on browser. I spent 10 bucks on it and I regret that, I can't imagine paying full price for this game.
