If you can get through the more monotonous parts of The Great Circle's gameplay, there's a fun story to experience with fantastic character writing, voice acting and music. This is one of those instances where you prefer watching the cutscenes to playing the actual game because MachineGames did everything just right. I mentioned earlier about the comparison to Uncharted, and when it comes to presentation, it is right there with it. When you factor in if the game is fun to play, the Great Circle can't compete.

The Great Circle reminds me of why I fell in love with Indy in the first place and should be a template for how to craft new interactive stories in this legendary series.

Machine Games has truly captured the essence of the first three films, delivering an authentic Indiana Jones experience. Troy Baker is fantastic as the titular hero, and the adventure is well-paced. However, as enjoyable as it is (and it really is), the problematic A.I. and some tedious exploration are hard to ignore.

Not being a huge fan of the Indiana Jones universe, I approached this game mainly out of curiosity. And in that regard, it turned out to be a solid experience — with clear strengths, but also some noticeable **** biggest highlight is definitely the story. It’s well constructed, engaging from start to finish, and manages to keep you guessing. I had several theories while playing, but the ending genuinely surprised me, which is always a good **** environments are another strong point. Whether exploring the Vatican City or Egypt, the game does a great job recreating these locations. Having visited both in real life, I found it especially enjoyable to recognize and immerse myself in these settings.Graphically, however, the game is somewhat inconsistent. At times it looks great, but in other moments, some textures feel underwhelming and less **** the gameplay side, there are a few frustrations. The menu system is poorly designed and not very intuitive — selecting items quickly in tense situations can be unnecessarily complicated. This is an area where the game clearly could have done better by taking inspiration from more refined systems.Enemy AI, especially during stealth sequences, is quite disappointing. It often feels outdated, reminiscent of games from 10–15 years ago. Even playing on hard difficulty, the game never felt particularly challenging — I only died a handful of times, mostly while rushing enemy **** puzzles, on the other hand, are enjoyable. They encourage you to slow down, think, and sometimes even jot things down, which adds a nice layer to the experience. Solving them and seeing the world unfold is genuinely satisfying. That said, the overall gameplay can feel a bit dated. Movement is somewhat heavy, and one design choice stands out: the frequent switch to third-person view during platforming sections, while the rest of the game is mostly in first-person. This breaks immersion and feels inconsistent — a puzzling technical **** terms of length, the game is fairly concise. I completed it in around 15 to 20 hours, focusing on the main content and major puzzles. I didn’t feel the need to go back for collectibles afterward. Much like a movie, once the story is over, the experience feels **** conclusion, this is a good game with both strengths and weaknesses. It doesn’t reach the level of a standout title, but it’s far from a bad **** rating: 7/10.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a good game, not a great one—which is what I would expect from a title of this caliber—but at least it’s entertaining. It has a few memorable moments, although at times it becomes a bit tedious. The best parts are the shorter sections, and I hope they lean more in that direction if they make a sequel. Actually, scratch that—the best part is the whip sound, and spending half the game humming the theme. Special mention to Gina, a great companion

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle delivers a strong narrative that captures the spirit of the franchise, blending adventure, mystery, and character-driven storytelling. The setting feels authentic and immersive, with well-crafted environments that enhance the experience. While gameplay has some limitations, the story and atmosphere carry the game and make it a memorable adventure.

Perhaps The Great Circle never again quite hits that fabulous high bar of the Vatican locations but as the enthralling remaining hours roll on, you never regret the time spent in Indy’s company – or, more accurately, being Indy.

There are some issues with the pacing of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the combat isn't great, but neither of these prevent it from being an exhilarating adventure on the whole. Perfectly capturing the essence of the films, this is an absolute treat for Indiana Jones fans.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a faithful and immersive adaptation of the character, and a great Indy story in its own right.

After a few decades with an ageing Indy, the Great Circle is a delightful return to Dr Jones in his prime. Strictly for the fans, in all the right ways.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has all the components of a thrilling adventure ripped straight from the silver screen. Its global locations are intricately detailed and a joy to explore (despite suffering from lackluster visuals on Xbox Series S) with secrets hidden around every corner while the combat system is developer MachineGames at its best. Paired with flawless voice performances and incredible motion capture work, it’s sure to go down as one of the greatest Indy adaptations in history.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is disappointing, as the initial excitement fades with poorly implemented mechanics that add nothing new. While the story and graphics are appealing, the game falls short due to flawed gameplay design, making it feel less like a true Indiana Jones adventure.

Just a masterpiece. It took me maybe 3-4 hours to truly get my interest, but after that, it was just perfect. I finished the game at 100% with the DLC too. You need to at least try this game.

Its' more like an interactive movie then the game. Mostly because of the unskippable cutscenes. Sometime for an hour you watch a cutscene for 15 minutes, the click one button for 5 minutes, then againa watch some cutscene and so on. For Indy fans it will be propably an 8 out of 10 game. For everybody else it's like 4 out of 10 at best. The narrative is horrid, the dialagos are boring, the companion is frustrating, fighting is simple and mediocer, the enemy AI is almost non existing, an the puzlles are so easy it feels like the game was made for a 5 years old. Ive played it on Luna and its the only way I can recomend to play - for free. Its not worth even 10 buck. Oh and it still has a lot of graphic bugs. Even after almost a year after releas. Also the polish dialogs **** donkey balls.

Good game fun story ruined by **** controls on the PC. I still don't know how to reload the pistol. What moron decided R pushes someone away instead of reloads? Would probably get an 8 if the controls weren't so frustratingly terrible
