The almost nonsensical story and some poor mission design aside, you can have some fun with Ace Combat 7. It will take some patience to get through the sequences with poorly defined objectives, but you'll have fun with the action-packed aerial combat and enjoy testing your skills against other players in the multiplayer mode.

Ace Combat 7 revives the dying genre of arcade bullet hells and proves that even these games still have something to say. Players who get through system reports and time limits will be rewarded with an adrenaline ride with endless fun. [Issue#293]

Fly back to Strangereal for the next installment in the Ace Combat series. The game is beautifully crafted and takes you on the ride of a lifetime. Easily one of the best flying games I have ever played, I know I will find myself returning to Ace Combat 7 quite often.

theres a reason why ace combat has this genre of flight games locked down. other competitors have tried and have always been found wanting. is it a perfect game? no, but it does what an ace combat game does best. make you feel like a Hollywood fighter pilot.

This is what has gotten me to love ace combat so much, after finishing the story and playing multiplayer, I immediately played from the first in order of the mainline series

Really fun just not much more to do and a meh story. In AC7 you control trigger a pilot who has tremendous skill and must accomplish what their superiours ask for war. Gameplay is really fun, its hard to describe its my first true jet combat game. Its smooth, planes control great, it has nice controls, dogfighting is really fun and the "handbrake" mechanic is really fun you also have to watch out for climatic conditions, the clouds, thunderstrikes and strong wind gives various effects. It had photorealistic graphics at its time, not so much now but it still looks fine. You have many planes but once you unlock the best ones its hard to justify why use the other ones aside from being a jet enthusiast. You can also modify them with special weapons and parts to suit your style The gameplay is very solid and the main thing is the campaign and while it has fun missions gameplaywise, the story kinda ****. Its cliche and hard to understand and barely any media can be those 2 things at the same time, it did have memorable characters tho. They are 20 missions, like 3 of them **** very hard the rest range from pretty decent to really good. It also has a multiplayer mode but i couldnt find anything in my region so i couldnt really try it. Overall really fun, but it doesnt have that much content and it isnt no masterpiece, its a fun game to play and thats what every game should be. Worth at 10 or 15$ for a general gamer. 25 if you really like aircraft

A fantastic campaign mode, a VR mode so great that it should go down in history, and so many other aspects make Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown an incredible package. However, it helps to be familiar with the series in order to savor its greatness.

It's now in its 20th year, but Ace Combat 7 shows that there's plenty of life yet in the series. Neither pure arcade, nor hardcore simulation, it straddles the line it needs to offer both a sense of flight and fast, furious dogfight action, even as it tells a cinematic and genuinely enjoyable story.

With an approachable learning curve and a forgiving flight model, Air Combat 7: Skies Unknown welcomes players new to the franchise as well as veterans of previous versions. Beautiful graphics and fast-paced action are the very hallmarks of an Air Combat and number 7 delivers plenty of both.

The aerial dogfights are the best that this generation has seen, and the individual missions will last long in the memory of those that play it. Players hunting for some extremely engaging gameplay should look no further than Ace Combat 7.

Thrilling moments of mid-air diving, twisting, and fighting like a hero are chipped away at by some niggling flaws. And yet, if you overlook it foibles, Ace Combat 7 has enough in its hangar to love. [Issue#159, p.84]

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a solid experience for fighter plane enthusiasts, but it plays things too safe. Sticking to a tried-and-tested formula that has ensured the series' success and continuation for nearly 25 years is a sound strategy, but it lacks in innovation and any new exciting creative direction.

EN: (TR aşağıda)This game strikes a perfect balance between realism and action. The graphics—sunlight reflecting inside the cockpit, responsive instrument panels, water droplets forming on the canopy when flying through clouds—are incredibly detailed, and the Expert Controls make flying feel completely authentic. Yet, at the same time, the game embraces over-the-top action with maneuvers impossible in real life, the ability to carry hundreds of missiles, and a pilot who never blacks out, even under 11+ G-forces. These two elements blend so seamlessly that playing the game is an absolute **** learning curve is also very well-designed. Since I started the Ace Combat series with this game, I chose Easy - Casual difficulty on my first playthrough. This setting is meant to introduce newcomers to the mechanics, and I highly recommend it to beginners. Even though it’ll feel too easy once you master the game, the initial challenge is just right when you’re still learning. The replay value is so high that you won’t mind finishing it multiple times—and with each run, you can increase the **** music and story are fantastic, but the storytelling itself is poorly executed. It jumps between cinematics, briefings, and gameplay, making it easy to lose track of the plot. The lack of Turkish subtitles is another downside. Still, even if you miss parts of the story, the sheer thrill of the action keeps the experience enjoyable. Tavsiye ederim.

The game is a great simulator of a fighter pilot, many different planes both real and invented by the game developers, a variety of missiles and bombs. But the game is trash: the characters are as uninteresting as possible, your friends in the squadron hate you along with the management, you are constantly mixed with ****, the plot is not exciting, during the game I did not understand what I was doing in the plot why I destroy enemy planes and bases if my allies hate me?. Some missions are very difficult. I hope that in the next game there will be a more interesting plot, there will be no fictional magic-super-ultra planes, there will be an opportunity to play on planes of the First and Second World War, and that the allies will REALLY help you in battle and not constantly hate you

It hurts to give this game a lower score than I hoped, but unfortunately a few things hold this back seriously. The first is that the semi-famous "Ace Combat style" of storytelling falls completely flat here, making all the story segments and dialogue an annoyance at best and insufferable at worst. The second is that the PS4 just is not able to render coherent models and this is hampered further by a clunky user interface that offers only one option: on or off. The story uses the AC tradition of converging perspectives, but they are so badly written here that the overall plot becomes uninteresting early on. Luckily, all the cutscenes and briefing segments can be skipped. Unfortunately, the on-mission chatter, which sets a new low standard for the series, cannot be muted and must be heard in its entirety. It's so bad that the player feels like a hostage to cringe, and unless you're a natural ace pilot you'll hear many missions' worth several times. The lack of visual clarity in the game, at least in this version, is a serious detriment. Dogfighting is incredibly frustrating when you are simply not able to get a read on a plane's direction or bearing. Just as deflating is firing on ground targets only to realize there was actually a geographical feature that wasn't clear from the angle you approached. An equal offender here is the awful UI in general and heads-up display in particular, which feel lifted from a PS1 game for all their helpfulness and sense. Overall a bit disappointing although the package DOES manage to come together by the end, but the slog will likely scare all but the most committed, patient, and weeb-friendly pilots out there. Here's hoping AC8 is a serious step forward instead of a largely "safe" entry.

Let me paint a picture of what happens throughout the game:
"Go after the target, leave the other aircraft to us".
Allies don't shoot down a single enemy. Enemies fire every missile in the known universe at you.
You cannot evade the missiles and take down the target in time.
Mission Failed, try again. Rides the line between challenging and frustrating and falls over to the frustrating side every time. Difficult situations with frustratingly useless allies. I get the game wants to make you to experience a power fantasy, but it executes it extremely poorly. I probably only had proper fun for like a hour out of the 7ish, that I played. Also really dumb and convoluted story.

The last one I played was the PS1 version. For some reason, I did not like this new one. The graphics were good. But the missions were frustrating for me instead of challenging.
