After spending over 500 hours in Hitman: World of Assassination, I can confidently say that this is not only a masterpiece by IO Interactive, but arguably one of the greatest stealth games ever made. What truly sets this game apart is its exceptional level design. Each location is large, detailed, and carefully crafted, yet rarely feels repetitive. While there are a few weaker maps such as Bangkok or Ambrose Island, the vast majority stand out due to their unique structure, atmosphere, and gameplay opportunities. Every mission introduces new variables—whether it's the number of targets, their routines, or the environment itself—which keeps the experience fresh throughout . The game constantly challenges the player in different ways. Targets are not just obstacles to eliminate; they are dynamic elements within complex systems. Some are heavily guarded, others are difficult to isolate, and many require creative thinking to approach efficiently. This results in each mission offering its own distinct set of challenges, whether self-imposed or guided by the game.However, the true strength of Hitman: World of Assassination lies in its replayability. The sheer number of ways to complete objectives is staggering. Even after finishing the main campaign, the game continues to offer an abundance of content, including Elusive Targets, Contracts Mode, Sniper Assassin, and most notably, the Freelancer mode. The latter provides a near-infinite gameplay loop with randomized targets and optional objectives that encourage players to constantly adapt their strategies. It takes a very long time before the game starts to feel repetitive—if it ever does.That said, there are some valid criticisms. The amount of paid DLC can feel overwhelming, and not all of it offers equal value. While these additional contents are entirely optional and not necessary to enjoy the core experience or story, it’s understandable why some players might find the pricing model questionable. Additionally, certain useful items being locked behind DLC can be frustrating. However, since these are supplementary additions rather than essential components, they do not significantly detract from the overall **** conclusion, Hitman: World of Assassination is a deeply rewarding stealth sandbox that offers unparalleled freedom, creativity, and longevity.
