Dying Light: The Beast
Dying Light: The Beast marks the return of Kyle Crane in a thrilling sequel that breathes new life into the series. With ferocious beast powers, adrenaline-pumping Chimera boss battles, and parkour that’s as exhilarating as ever, the game delivers plenty of standout moments. The open world can feel a bit too sprawling, and the controls occasionally slip into clunky territory, but the fast-paced combat and richly designed side missions more than make up for it. This is an excellent return to form — one that blends fresh ideas with the spirit of the original in a way fans won’t want to miss.
A strong sequel and a quality addition to the open world action genre.
Dying Light: The Beast is a ghost of a great franchise, competently executed but lacking the spark that once made it special. The game lacks the pioneering audacity of the original, and lacks the narrative ambition of the sequel. It's a grind that, despite its apparent dynamism, leads nowhere. On top of all this, the game was extremely rough at release, and some of its bugs remain unfixed.

i really dont want to say much about this game kyle crane turning into a volatile wtf i mean as a concept its not a bad idea but the way they executed it in the game just isnt that enjoyable i honestly couldnt really get into this one i think it feels a lot duller compared to the previous ones it definitely has things it does well but in my eyes it is pretty weak compared to the first two games

story is mid, but DAMN THE GAMEPLAY MAN! Restored land mode is also really fun and worth it. Hope they'll made it multiplayer one day.

Techland was under the scrutiny of thousands of players worldwide - this was a final exam and the developer has passed with flying colors. Dying Light: The Beast is more Dying Light than ever, they've learned from the mistakes of the 2nd and returned to a path they should never have strayed from. It's fun, it's beast, it's crazy - in short, it's a masterpiece with one of the best protagonists and villains we've seen in years.

While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, Dying Light: The Beast is a return to form while it makes up for anything it may lack with the glorious return of Kyle Crane.

Melhor jogo que já joguei na minha vida. Com uma história muito boa, gameplay viciante e um mundo aberto fantástico, trazendo de volta kyle crane com uma grande imersão 10/10.

With a great scenario, spine-chilling nights, and intense battles, the parkour-heavy zombie franchise skillfully returns to its roots.

I enjoyed my time as Kyle in Dying Light: The Beast and continue to regard Techland as having mastered a singular type of game experience. Some key aspects I bristled against were concerning, but the reactive gameplay, popcorn-munching plot, and mechanical depth at its heart are all fully intact. I remain eager to see where this over-the-top story goes next, but I’d rather get there by grappling hook over a cityscape.

Dying Light: The Beast is a surprisingly deep, atmospheric, and mature experience. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it refines the formula with confidence—closing the gaps left by the second chapter and rediscovering what made the original so compelling. It dares where it matters, yet never strays from its core identity. Familiar gameplay returns, but it’s enhanced by thoughtful, coherent innovations and a narrative structure that’s finally both solid and engaging. It’s not perfect, but it has soul—and in today’s landscape, that’s more than enough to rank it among the standout action-survival titles of the year.

Like an electrified baseball bat, The Beast is silly and perhaps disposable, but you can still have a great time swinging it. [Issue#416, p.110]

Dying Light : The Beast is all bark and no bite. Techland had the right ideas and tools to deliver a tight action-adventure package, but stumbles on bad level design, a flimsy plot and repetitive slugfests against roided-out zombies.

The game was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. Night was supposed to be similar to DL, but it was closer to DL2, which didn't convince me. I also felt like I was playing DL2, just with a different story. I know it was originally supposed to be an expansion for DL2, but for the price, I expected more.

Short summary:Skills completely ****, most of them are passives, combat ****, you’ll get grabbed by zombies every time you pass them, world is terrible, parkour is also horrible. Graphically it’s a ps3 game. I didn’t like DL2, but this one is worse in every aspect, except maybe gore. I feel like I got scammed by Techland and YouTubers (reviewers). Please save your money. If you really want to give it a try wait for a big sale (at least 60%). It’s not a game, it’s a horrible half-game
