Days Gone

Superb zombie-slaying combat and enjoyable motorcycle gameplay are integrated perfectly with a well-paced story. But the game’s major highlights are the terrifying zombie hordes which are unlike anything seen in a videogame so far.

For better or for worse, Day Gone exceeds expectations. Bend Studio focuses heavily on the plot of its latest work, sometimes even at the expense of the gameplay, forced to adapt to the narrative needs of the survival game. Despite this, Days gone is still a very unique experience, thanks to its extremely recognizable personality shining through.

With jaw-dropping graphics, fantastic music, great gameplay, likeable characters - and terrifying hordes - it is hard to tell that Days Gone is Bend Studios first truly big-budget game. Even though the game is not as polished as the best first party games from Sony, it still might end up as one this year’s best single player experiences.

The game has weak shooting systems and some bad weapons, much like Red Dead Redemption II. But while the other games have been highly rated, Days Gone has had its legs cut out by the bugs.

Days Gone is a fine addition to the evergrowing list of first-party Sony exclusives. Does it have the shine and polish comparable to Naughty Dog's best works? No, but it delivers a dense and beautiful open world that proves that there's perhaps a little bit of elbow room left for zombies in gaming, even if we're not calling them that this time around.

Days Gone is a derivative but enjoyable action-adventure with a beautiful environment, using AI and physics to create exciting moments of procedural entertainment. But its familiar tale of mankind struggling to re-create society after the end of the world and its romantic through-line are haphazardly structured and under-written, and the characters are too busy calling each other sons of bitches and assholes to say or do anything moving, original or profound. This is a game of fun and fury – it’s thrilling at times, but it signifies nothing.

The game meets the baseline level of quality we might expect from a big-budgeted joint, yet it remains a tiresome, empty experience.

A gameplay e mundo aberto são viciantes, agora a historia... demora a engrenar e resolve tudo muito rápido, se você vai gastar horas e horas do jogador com cutscenes e diálogos que eles pelos menos sejam decentes.

The gameplay and story are ok. It’s your classic go to point A get mission, go to point B to complete it. My big issue with this game is the dialogue. Every other sentence is GD this GD that. There are so many other ways to convey anger in dialogue. It’s just lazy writing and so unnecessary in my opinion. I get it is a Mature game and I’m fine with cussing. This was way too over the top. The other annoying aspect of this game is the constant “radio chatter” in the game. It occurs way too much and it gets very annoying.

Le jeu est intéressant le monde ouvert aussi. Mais l’histoire est vide et mal mis en avant. Le gameplay est génial mais sans plus, les possibilités d’interaction sont pas nombreux. Au final, c’est peut-être pas plus mal qu’il n’est pas eu de deuxième Days Gone.
