This game was a really positive surprise for me in 2025. I found the gameplay really engaging and the card mechanics were really well implemented. Each character is unique and plays differently. I got around 77 hours in my playthrough. This game gave me the desire to try other tactic and even crpg games (I was not considering those options before). However, the story and dialogues left to be desired (i agree with most of the other reviewers here)

Before playing this game, I had quite high expectations since AC Odyssey was one of my favorite games of all time. Unfortunately, I've been a bit disappointed. The game is still good and deserve a 8/10 but for me, that was not as good as the previous entries. Like other games they did, Ubisoft knows how to create excellent graphics for an immersive experience. Overall, AC Valhalla is a beautiful game. I think this is the most realistic snow I saw in a video game. They also recreated England in a realistic way. This is not as vibrant as ancient Greece or Egypt but they've been able to create an unique setting. Now, I'll let you know what I liked lessin this game: 1. The story structure was not ideal because I ended up not caring that much for the characters we met. I think there were too many different stories and it made us lose focus. 2. There are some issues with the game audio. I think there's not dynamic range and that makes the game less immersive 3. Some side content is weak and seems to be just filler. 4. Leveling, stats and game economy.... 5. The game is a bit too long for what it is. When we have a 100 + hour game, it needs to be really excellent to justify this extra length So, yeah....even though I'm an AC fan, I can understand some critics this game received and I wouldn't recommend this game for gamers who have really limited time or an important backlog. I don't say the game is bad but I would rather play 2 different 50 hours games that are 9/10 rather than this one. However, if you're a viking fan, an AC fan or you don't have money to buy a lot of games, this one can be interesting as you'll obtain a lot of hours of gaming for your money.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will certainly give you a great AAA experience. I would put this game in the same category as Uncharted as it's really cinematic and linear. The voice acting is great (I would recommend using the voices in English) The story is really well presented and the graphics are top-tier (especially is you use the Ray-Tracing mode). I didn't had issues with the 30fps frame rate (60fps performance mode is also available). We have with this game a really good amount of content as the game is quite long ( I completed the game after 27 hours) For most players, it sould be more like 22-25 though because I really take my time. I don't think this game will challenge you a lot as a gamer. I don't say it's too easy but I must mention the combat is quite basic and it's not the game's main strength. I'm not also a big Marvel fan,so that's why I'm giving this game a fair 8,5/10. Eidos Montreal can be proud for this fantastic game !

Death's door is an excellent indie game that reminded me the old Zelda games. The art direction is really charming and excellent. The gameplay feels good and there is a decent amount of content in this game (completed my playthrough in 21 hours). However, if you're expecting voice acting, over-the-top cutscenes and AAA feels, this game won't be for you. I had fun with this game and I hope the developer will continue to create games like that !

I appreciated this game a lot and for me, that was almost a 8/10 review. The story was really well implemented and that's the best story I saw in racing games (way better than Need for Speed or Dirt 5). Codemasters is really going in the right direction and future games should be even better ! I think however that the career mode is not great and my biggest letdown was the absence of music in the races. Otherwise, the game has everything. Graphics are nice, the driving feels fun and fluid. If you pay the full price for this game, I would recommend having a complete edition that contain all DLC, otherwise I don't think you should pay the full price for the base game only (my playthrough lasted 11 hours)

Yakuza 5 has a really big scope and be prepared for a long game, even for those who play the main story only. I completed my playthrough in 71 hours doing most of the substories. The story is great overall and has really strong moments and cutscenes. However, the game is also a victim of his big scope as you're more likely to forget important parts of the story (the story is separated in 5 different playable characters). Also, the game aged pretty well compared to Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4 who are more clunky. Yakuza 5 was built with the same engine that Yakuza 0, so this is something to consider. I think my best advice to fully enjoy this game would be to don't rush it ! Each character has his own story and it's important to know them better. Their substories also support the main story and give additional lore. I would also recommend to complete most of the training missions with the masters.

I completed both Leon (easy difficulty) and Claire's (normal difficulty) stories and I can say that I'm satisfied with my exprience. It's obvious that we have a high-budget AAA game that is a great exemple about how remakes should be done. I played on PS5 with Ray Tracing activated and wow ! The graphics are super great ! The game is really immersive, especially if you play with a good headset. I must admit that I didn't had a lot of experience with the survival horror genre before and I have the tendency to use a lot of items in games. So, that was not the best mix for my first playthrough with Leon. I even reached a point where I had just one save file and I became stucked with almost no ammo and items. I had to switch to easy difficulty at this time ! I still enjoyed the rest of the playthrough. I found funny that I had a best time with Claire's campaign when I got back in this game almost 6 months after having completed Leon's story. I completely understand the fact that this game is viewed as a masterpiece but I guess that my lack of experience with this genre of game undermined my first playthrough. I'm giving it a strong 8 ! Here are other positive notes: 1. The puzzles are really well built 2. The cutscenes are great ! 3. The PS5 version is well optimized. Some people may find the game a bit slow but I think it's designed this way (I mean that the characters must walk carefully and not« speedrunning » the area.

Nioh 2 Remastered: The Complete Edition

Nioh 2 is a really great, challenging and rewarding game ! It totally met my expectations. I would say that this is really similar to Nioh 1 (almost 80% or so) so it means that if you liked Nioh 1, you will most likelt enjoy Nioh 2. Fun fact, my playthrough is exactly the same amount of hours than Nioh 1 which is 119. I did around 90-95% of all missions. Difficulty wise, I think the mechanics make it a slightly more complex game than Nioh 2 but you have so much options now that overall, it may be easier than Nioh 1. In term of bosses difficulty, I just found one of them to be completely unbalanced (too hard). I won't say which one it is but this is the only one I had to summon a NPC blue grave player. Nioh 2, like I previously said, is really similar to Nioh 1 but don't get me wrong, it improves the base game in a lot of ways. Now, the graphics are more polished, there is decent HDR support (I recommend using Dynamic Tone Mapping if your TV has this option as some players reported that the game was way too dark). I found also the story to be better in Nioh 2. Nioh 2 was the best game I played this year but I most admit that was a bit exhausting...I'm taking a few months brake from Souls games now !! :p

Sackboy was a beautiful surprise for me this year ! It's clear that the developers put a lot of efforts and love in this game. I found that the level design was great and that the learning curve is really fair and balanced. The variety among the levels and the bosses is impressive. The music and the graphics are top quality as well ! So, I have almost nothing negative to say about this game. I was expecting a 10 hours game like little big planet 3 but I spent 17 hours before I saw the credits rolling which is great for this type of games. Actually, there are only 11% of players who will complete the game according to PSN trophies system (I guess that this game may be a little too hard for the targeted audience: kids). Dirt 5 is at his core an arcade racing game and is not a game that try to be realistic. In my experience, the game was quite fun, the graphics were decent (sometimes too dark though...) but once the career mode is done, I don't see the motivation to continue to play (by the way, just 3,3% of players finished the career). When playing this game, just don't expect anything like Forza and you should be fine

I just finished Far Cry 5 and wow ! This game is amazing and exceeded my expectations who were average after my experience with Far Cry 4 a few years ago. I did a 42 hours playthrough with most of the side content completed. Actually, the sandbox elements are really well done and don't feel like chores (I know Ubisoft has a bad reputation for that...). The open world is organic and fun to navigate into. I feel also that this game has a solid identity and a really unique story (weird, funny, deep and « over the top ». This is the type of game that will leave you some memories afterwards. The soundtrack is way better than average and the graphics are solid (I played at 60FPS on my PS5). The game still has minor glitches but nothing major IMO. This game is really underrated and deserves certainly more praise and attention. I found it better than Days Gone who was really good also. The game is not perfect **** moments, it can become pretty chaotic and apparently, the AI is not that good. It can be challenging also if you want to play clean and stealthy. Overall, the game is really good and a big step forward for the Far Cry formula who was getting old after Far Cry 4 and Far Cry primal.

Hollow knight is a game that went beyond my expectations. It's clear that Team Cherry put a lot of love and care in their game. At first, I was a bit afraid by the game's difficulty but I can reassure a lot of casual players that the difficulty is fair. I found the level design to be really great and there is an interesting variety among the enemies types. I completed my walkthrough in around 50 hours and I'm far to have 100% completion. You will get a lot for your money by buying this game. For me, Hollow Knight is a strong 8/10. I think the game still has a few weaknesses like the story and the graphics that are quite basic (I understand that most people will still like the game's presentation. For me, it's just a matter of taste). Finally, I think this kind of game gives hope for how much quality small studios can deliver. I recommend this game and I will try the sequel if it get released on PS5 in the future.

Immortal Fenyx Rising is a great Ubisoft game that was supposed to be call « Gods and monsters ». I was really satisfied with my experience with this game. Everything it does, it does it really well whether it’s puzzles, exploration, crypts (equivalent of Shrines in Zelda), bosses, flying through the world, etc… In fact, it’s impossible to not compared this game to Zelda Breath of the Wild. I gave Zelda a 7/10 here and I would say that for me, Immortal Fenyx rising is superior in many ways. The combat is great, the world is filled with a lot of interesting puzzles and quests, moving and climbing feel fluid and not like a chore, puzzles are great ! Immortal Feny Rising is not a Zelda clone though…It feels more like a mix of Zelda, Darksiders 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. I would even say that 1/3 of the world make me think of each game I mentioned. It seems that Ubisoft re-used some assets from AC Odyssey but in a more cartoonish way. In terms of graphic quality, it is pretty cool overall. In my opinion, just the character modeling left to be desired. The story is a bit above average for me but nothing outstanding like The Witcher 3 or some Yakuza games. So, how this game compares to other PS5 games ? I rate it as a 8,8/10 so 9 here on Metacritic. I had a lot of fun playing this game, the puzzles are varied and great, the difficulty is well balanced (a bit more on the easy side though…) and there is good value (my playthrough lasted 75 hours with a lot of side content completed). Would I consider it as a masterpiece ? No but it doesn’t lack much ! I strongly recommend this great game from Ubisoft Quebec !

I tried The Surge and wanted to share my impressions. I stopped playing this game once I reached the first boss for many reasons: 1. I found too much glitches, pop-ins or weird textures and that distracted me significantly 2. Combat can get repetitive 3. Game is just not poiished enough But, on a positive note, I still had good time with this game but I preferred to move to other games. I don't think this game is bad. I even find that they had great ideas but the implementation was **** Ps5 also warned me that this game can have unexpected behavior if used with the ps5 so maybe it explains some of the graphical problems. When I started the game, I've been able to correct the blue lines bug by disabling lens flare for those who want to try this game on PS5. I think right now Cyberpunk 2077 is a really nice game that delivers excellent graphics, smooth gameplay and interesting RPG mechanics. At release, it was a whole different story but right now in 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 is certainly a better than average game. Just don’t expect The Witcher 3 level of quality and you should appreciate Cyberpunk 2077 for what it is. For me, this is a 8,4/10 game and one of the best I played recently. My playthrough lasted a little more than 65 hours and I did a lot of side content. In fact, most of the side content is well done. If you just rush through the main story, you’re missing a lot of stuff! In terms of difficulty, you should be fin on normal or hard if you’re an average skilled adult and busy gamer like me. Here are some pros and cons for this game: Pros: • Sound effects are top-notch! If you have a good headset, you will hear an incredible number of details in the sound, especially in night-club environments • The RPG mechanics are good. There are a lot of different ways you can complete missions depending on your playstyle • Graphics are high-level. Night City is one of the best settings ever in a videogame. Cons: • There are pacing problems, especially for tutorial matters. At the beginning, the game throws you everything at the same time ! • The story is just ok, nothing bad, nothing amazing • The replay value is limited if you want to respec. It’s not possible to redistribute some type of points in your skill tree Overall, a great game and I’m sure the DLC will be amazing ! CDPR worked really hard to save this franchise and they succeed !

Star Wars Jedi fallen Order is a good game overall. I must say that I'm not a Star Wars fan, so it may influence my score. This game is a soul-like but more approachable for the average gamer. I played on Jedi Master difficulty and this was really well balanced. I think must of the gameplay is really fun and I found the controls responsive. However, if you have the PS5 version, I strongly recommend that you enable Performance mode and play at 60 FPS. Otherwise, that was not smooth enough if you leave the default options (I think that they should have put performance as the default option **** the 30FPS ruined my first 2 or 3 hours with this game) You will find in this game a few glitches, pop-ins, **** nothing too major. I found that there is some inconsistency in the graphics quality. A few planets look really good (Dathomir for example..), the characters clothes, textures are nice too. However, I remember that the grass, the plants were really low textures and seemed like ps3 graphics. Overall, graphics are average and even though it's presented as a PS5 version, we don't feel this way. I give this game around 7,5/10 but it leans more toward a 7,4/10 so I won't put a 8 rating here. A few positive aspects to end this review: 1. The game is not repetitive at all. There is a good balance between combat, exploration and puzzles. 2. The sword combat is really well done and we have an interesting skill tree and upgrade system 3. We have at least a 20 hours main story, which is good for a semi open world / linear game like that !

This is interesting to see a significant difference if we compare the critic reviews ( 7,1 ) and the user score average (8,4). I think that this game was penalized because of its lack of innovation in terms of open world design. Yes, it shares the same formula than most Ubisoft games. Because of that, I think that for people that experiment Days Gone as their first game or first open world game, they will have a great time especially if they like the Zombie theme. Otherwise, for players who played a lot of open world games in the past, they will have a « déjà-vu » feeling. Now, I will share more about my personal experience with this game. I think it's pretty decent and good, but not amazing as a package. I completed my playthrough yesterday on hard diffiuclty. I did most of the side stuff + the main storyline and my PS5 tells me I spent 70 hours on this game. So, it's a lot of content for completionists. I had fun for the most part. I found the story good at times but more bland in some parts. I'm a visual person and the below-average facial animations broke a bit my immersion in the story. That being said, Days Gone is way above average in term of good HDR impementation in a video game. If you have a good TV for HDR, you will be impressed by the graphics, especially the dynamic weather and how the lightning is implemented in this game. I'm giving Days Gone a 8,0/10 rating, which is good. I played on PS5 and with patches, it's dynamic 4k resolution with 60 FPS. Here are a few pros and cons for this game: + Excellent graphics Crafting system, bike upgraded, survival mechanics are great I found the shooting to be smooth and enjoyable most of the time _ Killing hordes in late-game is tedious and not fun (for me...) There is a small lack of innovation (some may find the game generic) The game can be repetitive at times Overall, a really good game though. It reminds me of Mad Max who released in 2015 and also had mixed reviews.

I just finished Nioh yesterday and wow ! What a ride ! I completed the base game after a 119 hours playthrough. I completed all the main and side missions (except the twilight missions and post-game content). Nioh is a souls-like that is really difficult and challenging. The learning curve is steep but the feeling of satisfaction after you beat a tough boss is huge ! The game is super fun and engaging. The combat system is really deep and the ki system is a really nice implementation. Nioh has a lot of content. It is not a short game by any means. I think an experienced gamer in the soul-like genre may complete this game in the 50-60 hours range but for me, as a pretty average skilled gamer, I needed more than 100 hours which is fine for me because I enjoyed most of my time with Nioh However, after a certain point in the game, I felt exhausted and I needed to take a break. For 10 days, I switched to another game (Shadow of the Tomb Raider) which I completed easily. While I was playing the other game, I was already missing Nioh's super fun combat system. After, I continued my journey in Nioh really fresh and I spent a big part of my Christmas holidays completing the remaining missions until I beated the final boss yesterday after a few tries. So, in terms of pacing, it's possible that you find the game too intense (a lot of boss, some difficult side missions). The level design can be quite average and repetitive also... Nioh is a game that made me felt I was in a love & hate relationship with someone with a lot of passion. In 2022, that was the game I've felt the more engaged and passioned about even though that was not my game of the year

More a 7,5/10. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was a great experience with outstanding action segments and first-class graphics. I finished my playthrough in around 16 hours (I did a few side quests and completed 3 optional tombs). I think however a game is more than the sum of its parts. Shadow of the Tomb Raider has a great combat system, interesting crafting mechanisms, good platforming overall and challenging puzzles. The problem here is that you won't have so much opportunities to test your different weapons or special techniques as the combat is not as frequent as the previous entries. I felt that the game was designed for those who like to do new game plus or multiple playthroughs (there are some metroidvania elements). Most of the time, a developed skill tree system and crafing system are more relevant in an open world game IMO. It can be good also in a linear or semi-openworld game but we need enough opportunities to test the gear, unlocked skills and abilities. For the story, I thought that was pretty average. I still recommend this game, especially for those who played the other tomb raiders. I think the normal difficulty and hard difficulty are well balanced (I switched between those two difficulties in my playthrough). It's really nice also that you can even more customize the difficulty by selecting specific difficulties for exploration, puzzles and combat. A quick last **** feel a lot of inspiration from Uncharted franchise in this one (more cinematic cutscenes and similar vibes in specific parts of the story)

Final Fantasy 7 remake is a true masterpiece and definitely one of the best ps4 games I played. I completed my playthrough in around 52 hours on normal difficulty and it involved just a little bit of farming. What I want to say is that there is a lot of content even though it's not the complete FF7 experience. The graphics, animations and voice acting are top notch and top tier if we compare to other games. Sometimes, I had the impression I listened to a great movie during the cutscenes. I liked also the different characters and the Midgar environment. For me, this kind of setting is unique and is not generic (that's what I want to see in video games). Here is a list of the most importants pros and cons: + Graphics, animations, cutscenes are over the top and excellent Music is great Gameplay, combat and progession system are well designed Campaign length is good for a full-price game - Some boss combats are way too long and at one moment, I found myself frustrated because there was no autosave between 2 long boss fights (this may be challenging for players who play in a small time-window) Some parts of the game are really linear amd we are forced to go in specific directions End game is really confusing This is still a 9,2/10 game for me ! Control is certainly a good game and almost a great game ! I completed the main story and a significant amount of side quests (more than 10) in around 25 hours. This game is not open world and the design is more like metroid prime for exemple. Most of the time, I enjoyed my time with this game and with more than 25 hours of content, I found that there was a lot of meat for this type of game. Here are a few pros and cons: Pros: The graphics are good, especially the light effects (Raytracing), the progression system is well done and relevant, the difficulty was fair and challenging, they created a unique vibe and there is a lot of lore Cons: Performance is Ok but not great, there are some important bugs (artifacts that stay on the screen in dense shooting scenes), the story is average at best, navigation with the map is deficient and the side quests are not introduced in the most ineteresting way Overall, this game should have scores between 7 and 8 according to me. A 7,5 would be my score (I put 8 here). This is still an easy recommendation but don't expect any GOTY material. If you have time to play many games, don't miss this one ! Otherwise, if your time is really limted, there are better games out there.

Assassin's creed Odyssey is one of the most underrated games I know....I mean...Come **** we are honest with ourselves, we must acknowledge this is a great game who borrowed a lot from The Witcher 3. Assassin's Creed Odyssey performs in a lot of major aspects: a) The story is engaging and well presented b) The graphics are spectacular (especially the light effects, the sea, etc...) c) There is a lot of content and there is important depth in the open world d) The naval battles are back (for those who miss Black Flag :)) e) The gameplay is fun most of the time There are some reasons why I think the reviews are around 6,5/10 and from my understanding, I see that a lot of players put 0/10 because of the microtransactions, the leveling system or the fact it doesn't seem as a traditional AC game. However, the truth is that the microtransactions are not at all mandatory. We must consider side quests as main quests **** fact, side quests give us reasons to explore the world, discover new areas, etc... In my 86 hours playthrough, I've never been underleveled and I finished the main story at level 49. I plan to continue until level 52 or so (still want to complete a few quests...). Here are a few recommendations to enjoy your playthrough: 1. You need to explore the world and do side quests. 2 Don't do the random generated quests on boards or the time limited ones. There are enough quests with the yellow mark to level up appropriately 3. Play on normal difficulty. I would consider possibly hard for rpg fans but avoid at all cost Nighmare because enemies are really really spungy 4. If you have an assassin build, try to be 1 or 2 levels above your enemies. I t will help you to play more stealthy. If you have the same level or if you're a bit underleveled, the risk is that you won't eliminate totally your target with a stealth attack 5. Don't play this game right after Origins, The Witcher 3 or Zelda breath of the Wild. It's a little bit too similar, so you will best enjoy this game after completing other type of games (I played Concrete Genie, Bioshock Infinite, Bloodborne and Yakuza 3 before AC Odyssey)

I think Concrete Genie is a great game with an amazing art direction. It is quite a short game (maybe 6 or 7 hours) but it definitely worth it. It's not a game with deep mechanics, leveling system, **** it is a nice platforming story game with some interesting puzzles. I think this game could have been even better if they implemented the combat before in the campaign. It is a easy recommendation for me that deserves a 8/10. I hope this studio will make other games in the future and Sony will encourage it.

Bioshock Infinite is an amazing game, the type of game we can't forget. These days, with so many games released, we find a lot of games who suffer from being too generic. Here, with Bioshock Infinite, it's not the case at all ! I played this game twice and I just finished this morning one of the DLC (Burial at sea episode 1 ) which I also recommend. For me, this game is almost a 9/10. I think the best section is the first chapters when we enter Columbia. Ken Levine is so good to create worlds and universes. Columbia and Rapture are wonderful and unique ! Also, I must add that Elisabeth is one of the best side characters I ever saw in a video game ! Bioshock Infinite is quite different than the first two entries (Bioshock 1 and Bioshock 2). It is more linear and they implemented new systems (tears, aerotram, etc...). Why I didn't give this game 9 or 10/10 ? I think it's because of the mechanics and the bad difficulty spike for the last battle. I think they should encouraged more the use of the different types of vigors and even create puzzles around that (they missed a huge opportunity here...). At least, in Bioshock 1, there were some small environmental puzzles for the plasmids like melting the ice for exemple. However, this is a great game that is still enjoyable in 2022 :)

I played Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kimwami 2 before this one and until now, Yakuza 3 is the weakest of those entries. Don't get me **** is still a good game but nothing compared to the previous games. Yakuza 3 still has a really good story and I think it is one of the major assets of the game. The cinematics, voice acting, music, sound are super good. However, the combat can be really tedious and that's why I would recommend to avoid the hard difficulty or to try to complete 100% of the game. I did a few substories buy my completion rate was only 11% for a 23 hours playthrough. One of the streamers I follow had a completion rate of around 8% and only focused on the main story which seem recommend for this game. It is still a solid 7/10 and I definetly recommend to don't skip this game. There is also a new location that has a unique vibe and we see the soft side of Kiryu.

Hitman seems a great franchise that I just discovered. I think most of the maps are really well crafted and polished. Graphics are certainly above average here ! I found the game fun for the most part. However, here are a few problems with this game: 1) If you play Hitman like myself, it will be a short game for you (maybe 8 hours maximum). I don't replay the missions to complete the different challenges. Keep in mind that for the last map (Japan), only 9,5% of the players completed the main mission and less than 1% completed everything (I think it is even less than 0,5% accordong to PSN trophies) so I assume most players don't put a huge amount of hours in this game 2) If you do mistakes in the beginning of a mission, it can be hard to enjoy the rest of it as you'll be either compromized or pursued. It can encourage save scumming... 3) Story is weak Overal, still a really good game and I'm looking forward to play a few bonus episodes and Hitman 2 and 3 in the future :)

This game is really decent despite obvious flaws. I find the gameplay quite fun and I appreciate the customization and the difficulty adjustment (For exemple, I turned off the swing timing as for me, it broke the game...) The graphics are bad and I think there are major anti-aliasing problems or something like that...(on a big screen TV, it is pretty obvious when they present the different holes). However, I still continue to play a few times and enjoy the most of it

Bloodborne is a game that surprised me and that I appreciated a lot. First, I was expecting a tedious and frustrating game because of its difficulty. The truth **** this game is very challenging but it never felt too tedious. The gameplay is really smooth, fun and engaging so I didn't mind restarting from the checkpoints and do again the same levels after I died. Bloodborne is around a 35 hours game if you go for the main story. There are a lot of optional areas and the game doesn't hold your hand, so there are good chances that they won't be discovered by the player. My only complaint is the fact that we lose the blood vials we used when we die. If you play like me, it can mean going to previous levels and grind items and blood echoes before retying the actual level. It felt a bit tedious sometimes, especially when I was stuck to a difficult boss. Graphic-wise, it is really top notch and they crafted a really interesting and unique world. I give it 9,2/10.

That was my first Kingdom Hearts game and I can say that it was good enough, especially for a 2002 game. I will certainly play KH2 and KH3. I give this game a 6,4/10 rating. Kingdom Hearts is an action RPG that mixes Final Fantasy and Disney. I really appreciated to see different Disney worlds with unique features. I think also some worlds are really well done and the exploration part can be interesting for a few of those worlds. However, here is the less good about this game: 1. The camera is bad and it will have a negative impact on the combat 2. The combat is really clunky in general which is a difficulty factor to consider 3. Some worlds are ugly. I almost quitted the game when I was in the jungle world 4. At times, game is not intuitive and you don't know where to go 5. There are giant difficulty spikes near the end which I wasn't prepared for...(See my recommendations in the end of this review) 6. Story is average, a bit ****'t expect something like Final Fantasy However, I still had a good time with this game. If you want to take full advantage of this game and has a smooth experience, you can consider my recommendations: 1. Don't rush the game ! For exemple, if you finish a world, take the time to revisit the previous worlds and grind a few levels. You will also have the opportinity to unlock new areas or open new chests 2. There is an important difficulty spike for the last world. Be sure to do a lot of optional content (upgrade all your abilities, find all the dalmatians, synthesise more items, etc...) 3. Don't bother with the Gummi ship garage...I didn't find this part relevant 4. Do your first playthrough on normal difficulty (Like I said, bad controls is a difficulty factor) 5. Take this game for what it is. It has important flaws but has something unique. Personnaly, it reminded me of my childhood and great Disney movies.

This game is a solid 7,5/10 for me. One of the strongest aspects of this game is the immersion and sound. I recommend playing the game with headset or a good sound device. However, we can feel this is kind of a low budget production. There is no combat system, no progression system...some people will compare the game as a walking simulator but I think this is exagerrated to say that. I did my walkthrough in around 12 hours which is nice (game is not too short). The puzzles are interesting and I appreciated that the game didn't tell me where to go and I had to figure it out myself. The story is decent. This is not totally an horror game, more kind of a sci-fi game with horror elements. I also recommend playing this game in the dark (not in a room with a lot of light because the game is really dark and it may break the immersion).

I finished Kingdom Hearts 2 a few days ago and I have mix feelings about this game ! I find that Square Enix better developed their Final Fantasy franchise than Kingdom Hearts. I liked to explore the different Disney Worlds but I found the game really linear. Some boss fights were interesting but overall, there was a lot of button mashing and you have a giant difficulty spike at the end of the game I found the game charming and there is an abundance of worlds. I appreciated most of the mini-games and the music as well. For a 2006 game, it's certainly above average but I saw way better games in this era (Paper Mario Thousand Year door, FF9 and 10) For me, this game is a 6,6/10 The reason why I played this game and KH1 is to better understand and appreciate KH3 that I also purchased

For me, this game deserves 8/10 which is really good ! We need to take this game for what it is and what it has to offer. This game shines in regards of the combat options, the animations, the characters and the music (Nero theme is really amazing !) For me, Devil May Cry 5 is more a combat game separated in different levels than an action/adventure title. The game can be completed in a short amount of time (10-12 hours for a skilled player) but has great replayability. To be honest, I started this game with high expectations (my wife was really looking forward to see me play this game). Both of us were a bit disappointed as we were expecting a GOTY (9 or 10/10). Why exactly ? Here are a few weaknesses we noticed: 1. The level design is weak and lacks creativity. The levels feely samy (especially past mid-game) 2. There are no puzzles anymore... 3. My wife (who is a backseat gamer) found that the game on Devil Hunter difficulty lacked challenge (the satisfaction is not the same as DMC 3 when we beat a boss). Maybe, it's because the yellow orbs are so abundant. For me, it was ok but my wife prefered DMC 3 for the challenge. 4. The story was a bit weak... However, this game is still really great because of all the options it offers in term of combat. You also have 3 playable characters who have unique styles. To fully enjoy this game, keep in mind you're playing a combat game which is a playground where you can try so many combos and styles. Don't expect an adventure / action with rich levels and exploration. I consider now trying a few levels on the higher difficulty levels to see how it goes :)

Uncharted 4 is certainly a masterpiece and one of the best PS4 games I played. For me, this game ranks #1 in regards to the best cinematic **** the cutscenes, the voices, the graphics, the animations, the amount of details and realism in characters facial expressions...this level of high quality is rare in video games. I mentioned a cinematic experience but Uncharted 4 remains a solid videogame where you will alternate exploration (platforming), shooting and puzzles. We have a good variety of locations and the fun factor is great here. For an Uncharted game, it's quite long (around 20 hours for me) which is good. There is also a good replay value. Are they a few cons for this game ? Yeah, but only a **** the platforming, some distances are hard to evaluate and some results don't make ****'s hard to evaluate if the game wants you to jump really far or if this jump will make you die. The jeep was also hard to control....Like I said, only minor weaknesses which maked this game a solid 9/10. The user score of 8,8 is a good reflection of this game's high quality. I must mention also it is the ebst story of all the Uncharted 4 titles (even better than the last of us for me...)

I remember having played fallout 3 in 2013 5 years after it released. I have good memories of fallout 3 and for me, that was a new franchise I discovered and was looking forward for the next installments. After, for some reasons, I wasn't able to get into Fallout New Vegas and I stopped after a few hours. Now, almost 8 years later, I was wondering if I should give Fallout 4 a try. I'm glad I did. It reminded me a lot Fallout 3 but with positive improvements. Now, let's explain why I give it 7/10 which is a little bit low compared to the other AAA games I review here. First, I think the ratings could vary a lot among players depending of how the bugs and glitches impacted your playthrough. For me, it almost made me quit the game after the first 10 hours. There's a whole faction I couldn't do because of a bug in Concord involving Preston, one of the main characters. So there is a lot of XP i couldn't get and I think this faction was really important (it's the first one and give you the first important missions). That' s why also I finished the main story a bit underleveled (L44). So, depending of each player's experience, I understand any ratings between 5 and 9 (the 6,7 average sounds fair) I decided to continue my playthrough and after, the real fun began. Even though the engine Bethesda uses is really old, I had a blast playing this game and killing super mutants, hacking terminals and lockpicking doors. The companion system is great also. Here are a few cons: 1. The graphics are disappointing. (not a significant improvement if we compare to Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas) 2. Ridiculous long loading times 3. The shooting is a bit janky 4. The ending is weak Final thoughts: There is a lot of meat in this game and you will have value for what you pay. You should give it a try if you can accept the bugs and cope with that. This is a good RPG and the open world is more organic than a lot of actual AAA open world games.

Final Fantasy X was certainly a masterpiece when it released 20 years ago. It is still a really good game ! I think that the art direction did an amazing job and I especially liked Auron's voice acting. Most of the game, I enjoyed my journey but there was an important difficulty spike near the end that I didn't see coming. To fully enjoy this game, I recommend to grind and if you see that normal encounters are difficult in new areas, it is a sign that you should go back to previous areas and gain a few levels. The story was a bit complicated also. I need to give also a special mention for the blitzball minigame who was great.

This game is a masterpiece and it brings the AC franchise in a great direction. Don't read the 6/10 and below reviews as it doesn't make sense (I guess a lot of players don't know how to play an open world game properly) I did the main story and most of the side missions in around 65 hours on hard difficulty. I had a great time. The graphics are wonderful, the mechanics are really well-done (there is a huge improvement for the combat) and the story has great depth. This game can be compared to the Witcher 3 in term of overall quality but lacks a little something to give it a 10/10 (like I did for TW3). However, the game still has a few cons: 1. The economy in the game is not really relevant 2. The loot system could have been improved 3. There are a few glitches 4. Some parts of the open world are not enough developed or used in the main campaign AC Origins is a 9,3/10 game in my opinion and is massively underrated. I don't see how people prefered Metal Gear Solid V than that ! I strongly recommend this game. To fully take advantage of the game and its mechanics, please use the hard difficulty (especially if you played other AC games before) and do a lot of side missions to be sure your level is a bit over the recommended level. I also recommend to wait before trying AC Odyssey or Valhalla after finishing this game as you may get burned out. I will wait at least 6 months before starting AC Odyssey. Those are big and amazing games and it requires some rest between them :)

Rise of the Tomb Raider is a great game that met my expectations. I saw great potential in this franchise(I think with a few improvements that game could have been a 9/10 or 10/10). In fact, Rise of the Tomb Raider has one of the best action I saw in a videogame. Add amazing graphics and a great semi open-world to explore. However, even though the platforming is great overall, it seems broken in some parts and will make you die a lot (it breaks the fluidity of the game IMO) I completed the main story in around 22-23 hours and did a few side missions. The optional tombs and the puzzles they contain are really well done. For some reasons, I didn't feel really engaged in the upgrading and leveling system. There are a lot of different abilities and weapons but they could have improved the way they introduced them. This game seems somewhere between Uncharted (adventure-linear) and Far Cry (adventure-open world). One last thing, I did my playthrough on the standard difficulty and I would recommend playing it on a harder difficulty for more engagement (Sometimes, I had then impression I played really bad but still progressed to the next checkpoint)

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a masterpiece. Here, you have an amazing story who will make you feel a lot of emotions. Again, the voice acting is excellent. I completed my walkthrough in a little bit more than 55 hours and I still had some unfinished substories. Yakuza Kiwami 2 has more content and variety and his predecessor Yakuza Kiwami. I was also happy that Majima was a playable character for a few chapters (Majima Saga). Also, Yakuza Kiwami 2 has great graphics. One of the best looking setting is in Sotenbori near the river (during the night). The only weakness I see for this game is the repetition around the street fights. At the end, I was trying to run away from them (not because the enemies were too strong but because that became so repetitive). Overall, This is one of the best PS4 games I played (along with Yakuza O, the Witcher, God of War and Persona 5). I strongly recommend this title. If you never played Yakuza games, maybe you should start with Yakuza 0 (there are a lot of references to previous games so I wouldn't recommend starting directly from Yakuza Kiwami 2)
