Grabsinski doesn’t waste the audience’s time with all the nuances of how the time machine works. He just gets to the story, the purpose of why Nick uses it, and the fun, crazy antics that come from it.

BenDavid Grabinski’s time-twisty, sci-fi gangster comedy Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is brimming with hair-brained schemes and hilarious gags; the kind of unruly one night adventure that isn’t about logic, it’s about stoking delirium.

The scenes feel like they've come straight out of 1970s and 80s B-comedies, outdated and out of step with the main plot, which feels richer in comparison. It’s distracting enough to slow the movie down.

Everyone here understands how to thread that needle of being broadly goofy while also keeping the film from turning into a parody. It’s a comedy that’s consistently displays its eccentric personality but rarely feels like it’s desperately pushing a punchline for a laugh.

While Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice isn’t a bad movie, it’s not a very smart one. Constant plot recapping aside, this is a quick-moving comedy with plenty to enjoy.

Ultimately “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice” has a few good laughs, some inspired needle drops, quirky references and a go-for-broke energy that should make it an enjoyable, low-stakes click.

Frankly, I’d begin with having future me warn the present-day version to skip this.

Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is solid fun. The premise is great and it's well-executed. The characters are fun, the dialogues fit. What more can I say, I had a lot of fun with this one. Technically it doesn't offer too much except for the Nick & Nick situation, which was perfectly handled. I never questioned the effects. The cast is brilliant and the performances are convincing. Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is nothin too special, but it's a lot of fun.

A slightly better than average film that made me laugh quite a few times with its appalling puns. The acting is ok throughout, as is the direction, which carried me through to the end. The storyline is fairly predictable, and full of holes, but it was quite a fun ride. I'd watch it again!

Badly directed gangster -scifi flick has a good cast and script but the film making is so amateruish that zapped any enjoyment you can get from the film. No wonder the studio dumped this flick directly to streaming.

This film was infuriatingly awful. It honestly makes me think we may be living in an alternate timeline where people enjoy something like this. That typical "action comedy for everyone" formula that tries to entertain an entire family with one film is what's ruining cinema. Jokes that aren't funny for the college dude in your family. Writing that doesn't surpass preteen level so it's easy to comprehend. The ruse **** flick for dad. There's even a cute kitten and some Gilmore Girls banter for absolutely no reason paramount to the film. The trouble with movies like this is they try to appeal to everyone and do nothing for anyone. Hollywood is failing and this is why. The icing in the cake is the sequel bait finale.
