Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

If you've had the hankering for platformers as of late, like I have, this set is an absolute no brainer. For $39.99 you get three of the best platformers ever made, and they're completely remade for the current gen… you can’t get a much better value than that.

Crash Bandicoot was the game that started many into a lifelong addiction with Sony’s home console, and the N. Sane Trilogy only helps to reinforce this.

Crash Bandicoot comes back to PlayStation with a collection that is reminiscent of the classic and funny platforming games. With its graphics improved, the original trilogy its a must-buy for everyone who loves the genre.

The remastered versions now look like interactive animated movies, with familiar levels recreated in a completely new engine with real-time lighting, new models and animations, visual effects and re-recorded sounds. But still, keep in mind that classic Crash games were a product of their era, so if you played this trilogy on PS1 back in the 90s when you were a kid, you won't get that the same feeling again.

Significant replayability and an excellent entry price point make the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy a benchmark for how future classic game remakes should be handled, the originals left intact, imperfections and all.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a reverent and imperfect resurrection of an icon. This furry oddball creature could have been left in the past, but I'm pleased that he was revived for a new generation. I say this in full awareness of the fact that Vicarious Visions could have done more in the technical and gameplay departments. Here we have two great games, and one that could have been great if given the update it truly needed. They look stunning, too, but resolution, framerates, and load times are all at an average standard when at least one of the three should be better. And yet, whether you find yourself zooming down a desert highway, running from a gigantic bear, or just bouncing over a bridge of crates, you can't help but smile and know that, at the end of the day, Crash is still a whole lot of fun.

It's easy to imagine how a dyed-in-the-wool Crash fan will fall in love all over again via the N. Sane Trilogy, but if you're experiencing Crash for the first time--or the first time in a while--it might pain you to realize that Crash's original adventures aren't as inventive or surprising as they were 20 years ago.

Ele não tenta reinventar a fórmula dos clássicos, e isso é exatamente o que faz ele funcionar tão bem: é uma recriação fiel, bonita e extremamente polida de três jogos que marcaram época. O maior destaque é o cuidado visual. Os cenários foram completamente refeitos com um nível de detalhe impressionante, mantendo o charme original enquanto deixam tudo com cara de jogo moderno. A trilha sonora remasterizada também ajuda a reforçar a nostalgia sem perder qualidade. A jogabilidade continua sendo o coração da experiência. O controle do Crash é preciso, desafiador e exige bastante timing, especialmente nos saltos e nas fases mais difíceis. É um tipo de plataforma que não tenta ser fácil ou confortável o tempo todo, e isso faz parte da identidade da franquia. Outro ponto muito forte é como a trilogia mantém o design de fases original. As fases continuam criativas, variadas e cheias de desafios diferentes, desde perseguições até seções mais técnicas. Mesmo sabendo que são jogos antigos, a estrutura ainda se sustenta muito bem hoje. Mas é importante lembrar: essa é uma experiência baseada em jogos clássicos, então a dificuldade pode ser bem alta e até punitiva em alguns momentos. Alguns controles e mecânicas também podem parecer um pouco rígidos para padrões modernos, o que pode frustrar jogadores menos acostumados. Mesmo assim, N. Sane Trilogy entrega exatamente o que promete: uma versão definitiva dos clássicos de Crash Bandicoot. Ele respeita o material original, melhora a apresentação e mantém intacta a essência desafiadora da franquia. Nota: 10/10

Amazing remake, beautiful graphics, it's so faithful that they even kept the problems from the original games. That's the bad thing, I hate the original games. OMG these controls are terrible, stupid levels where you die from any possible reason, exagerated hitboxes, terrible and outdated game. I mean, I know that this was the idea, keep the same game just remaking graphics, but cmon

Quite fun and challenging I've finished all 3 games and had a great time....

Good idea to remaster this game but disappointing! The main issue is the mechanics. The developers wanted to make the game more challenging but instead, they made it annoying and frustrating! Especially the JUMP! you lose even on a simple jump in the game! (forget about the boxes!) why? A jump??!!
