Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 is hands down the best yet for the series, and may be the best Ubisoft title ever.

Far Cry 5’s calculated chaos uses the well known formula from the Far Cry series, but delivers it in a new and sophisticated fashion.

If you’re itching for a hootin’ and hollerin’ good time with the good ol’ boys and gals of ‘Murica, look no farther than Far Cry 5. The solid core of the game provides a perfect vehicle for a nuanced and thought-provoking story in an underused setting. Some of the content might make folks uncomfortable, but if you hang on tight like Clutch Nixon would, there’s a very worthwhile adventure to be had in Hope County.

Far Cry 5 is a massive game with tons of content and Far Cry Arcade has the potential to keep the game fresh and exciting for months to come. In the end, Far Cry 5 didn't make the most out of its rural setting and didn't innovate much on the typical Far Cry gameplay formula although it still ranks as one of the best games in the series.

Far Cry 5 is exactly that - more Far Cry. If you've never been a fan of the series, this doesn't do anything to change your mind. If you loved liberating outposts and blowing shit up in the Himalayas, you'll enjoy doing it in Hope County, too. Its sprawling world, varied missions, and memorable characters all make for an incredibly entertaining experience, and helped me to overlook the niggling technical issues and occasional frustrating fetch quests in my 30+ hours in Montana.

Public executions aside, Far Cry 5’s world is meticulously constructed, and it’s a remarkable facsimile of Big Sky Country. Unfortunately, too much of the action in it is uninspired. It’s a beautiful but bland recitation of what’s come before, from both the series and Ubisoft’s open-world playbook. It’s never bad, but considering how great the past games have been, its overall predictability is disappointing.

Divorce it from its narrative and Far Cry 5‘s biggest overall problem is just how little mechanical innovation separates the game from Far Cry 4.

very good story, original and good characters made the game nice to play. definitely a game worth playing

Amazing open world exploration and love the choices of vehicles i can use. But the biggest issues are really the soundtracks and mission difficulties. From the first mission u have this super **** irritating intense hyped background soundtrack that is so unnecessary. It's obvious developers are trying to create an adrenaline rush, but when u are going on stealth mode and trying to figure a way to sneak around, this hyped up background soundtrack is irritating as ****. Best part is, every fkng mission or outpost takeout comes with this brainless music. Really grating on the nerves after awhile. Combined with every mission always being very rush and intense. It's just really really irritating as **** the whole thing. Missions can also be ridiculously difficult and u die from absolute random causes. Like when trying to take down John Seed's plane, it actually drove right into my plane and we both exploded. Yet, i respawned and John Seed was still alive and i had to kill him again. This game has so much potential, ruined by developers who try too hard.

Far Cry 5 es un patio de recreo caótico y visualmente espectacular que ofrece una de las mejores experiencias de mundo abierto de la saga, pero que tropieza de forma constante en su ambición narrativa. Trasladar la acción a la América profunda, concretamente al condado ficticio de Hope County en Montana, es el mayor acierto del juego. El mapa es una delicia de explorar, la transición orgánica entre misiones es adictiva y la eliminación de las tediosas torres de radio agiliza enormemente el ritmo. Además, el combate, el uso de vehículos y el divertidísimo sistema de acompañantes ("Guns for Hire") garantizan momentos de pura acción sistémica e impredecible que funcionan de maravilla, especialmente en su modo **** gran problema del título reside en el desarrollo de su historia y en su estructura forzada. El culto apocalíptico de los Edenistas, liderado por el carismático pero desaprovechado Joseph Seed, plantea una premisa fascinante con un trasfondo político y religioso brutal, pero el guion prefiere quedarse en la superficie para no molestar a nadie. Peor aún es el infame sistema de los "secuestros obligatorios": cuando llenas el medidor de resistencia de una zona haciendo actividades secundarias, el juego te saca a la fuerza del mundo abierto mediante una cinemática para meterte en misiones de historia lineales, rompiendo por completo tu libertad y el ritmo de juego. Añade a esto una alarmante falta de variedad en los combates contra los jefes y un final sumamente divisivo, y el resultado es una entrega notable en lo jugable, pero incapaz de estar a la altura de las expectativas que genera su propia ambientación.

Pour moi ce jeu aurait eux la note de 6 car il conserve toute les bonnes choses des opus précédent le shoot est toujours aussi bon la possibilité de jouer plus sur le coté infiltration le "dictateur" charismatique un arsenal varié ect... en gros le jeu a le mérite de garder toute les forces de la série FarCry malheureusement aucune innovation et l'une des pires fin de l'histoire du jv c'est pour ce genre de chose que je ne lui donne pas 6 après il n'a pas 0 car pour moi si ce FarCry 5 étais sorti a la place de FarCry 4 je pense que il aurait étais bien mieux en tout cas le sortir avant aurai retiré le sentiment de lassitude car je pense que ce FarCry aurai fait un meilleur FarCry 4 que notre actuelle FarCry 4

Without a doubt the worst entry in the Far Cry series. Absolutely frustrating from start to finish.
