The Last of Us Part 2... This game literally made me buy a brand new PC. I loved the first game, so when this dropped to $40 on Steam, I bought it. But my old PC couldn't even hit 20 FPS. I was so upset that I refunded it. But it bothered me endlessly; I knew I had to experience this masterpiece by playing it myself. So, I bought a new PC in April just for this. Since I spent all my money on the rig, I patiently waited until the June 25th summer sale to finally grab the game again.I played the first game completely blind, but sadly couldn't do the same here. I stubbornly skipped TikTok and Instagram reels for years, but one day I messed up and saw the biggest spoiler possible: Joel's death. I was devastated. When that scene happened two hours in, I just stared at the screen whispering "no, no, no," hoping for a miracle. He died. The most heartbreaking part is that Ellie had treated him terribly ever since she learned the truth. Right when they were finally going to mend their relationship and the ice was melting, he was killed. Realizing this while actually playing truly broke my heart.When Abby's dad was asked, "Would you do the same if it was your daughter?", he went silent. People say Joel was wrong, but I completely stand by him. Like the quote says: the world stole everything from Joel, and at the end, Joel stole the world's last hope. An unbelievable detail. Gameplay-wise, they elevated Part 1's formula to a whole new level. The prone mechanics, bottle suppressors, and crawling under vehicles make the stealth incredibly fun. Whether going in guns-blazing or full stealth, it was an absolute blast. I finished it in about 20 hours.Then came the Abby sections. At first, I was so disgusted I just wanted her dead. But realizing her dad was the doctor from Part 1 made everything click. They could have easily killed Tommy and Ellie back then, but they didn't—which became their biggest mistake. The game tries hard to push the "she's actually a good person" narrative, but she tortured Joel in front of Ellie. There is no coming back from that. I thoroughly enjoyed slaughtering every single one of her friends. Tommy completely cornered Abby and Manny, proving those pathetic losers couldn't have scratched Joel or Tommy without ambushing them. When Manny got shot in the head, my mood instantly skyrocketed. I was literally mocking Owen when he died: "Catch this bullet, idiot! Guess that hurt, huh?" If Yara wasn't there, that would have been Abby's last day in **** the very end, I just wanted Abby dead. The game absolutely should have given us a choice; I would have choked her out without a second thought. Reviewers preach about the "cycle of hatred," but in that final fight, my only thought was finishing the job. I don't care about that bald kid Lev. If Abby causes trouble for us in the future, I'll gladly wait for her, shave her head again, and send her packing. But honestly, letting her live isn't a huge deal. We took everything from that trash—killed her dad, slaughtered her friends. She can live and die miserably with that kid. Both Abby and Ellie end up in a pathetic state... but no matter what, this game is an undeniable masterpiece. It made buying my new PC worth every single penny. Truly legendary.

years ago i played resident evil 5 and that was my first time ever running into the series honestly i had no idea what i was playing or what my goal even was back then even though i couldnt finish it it still wasnt bad it just had a different vibe years later i figured out that the game i played was actually resident evil 5 since the franchise had so many games i decided to just pick one and went with resident evil 3 remake i am not exaggerating it was one of the worst things i have ever played i didnt enjoy it even a little bit something just felt super off the game was insanely short and honestly just **** i thought the whole series was trash like that so i completely crossed resident evil off my backlog and just shelved it but then one day i played resident evil 4 remake and honestly this game was absolutely incredible the visuals gameplay map design playtime and so many other things i cant even list just completely blow re 3 out of the water playing as leon is just on another level suddenly roundhouse kicking enemies feels so damn good the map design is beautiful and the shortcuts hit the spot perfectly i couldnt get into the story at all in re 3 but in re 4 remake i actually followed the background story as much as i could this is easily the best resident evil i have played so far whatever i play next probably wont even reach this level but honestly as long as they arent as joyless as re 3 i am totally fine with it this game is a straight up masterpiece so its completely normal that the other ones cant even come close

witcher 3 was praised so damn much back in the day people were constantly like you have to play it it is such a masterpiece and all that but it honestly wasnt really my type of game at first i downloaded it and played it for a bit got to emperor emhyr s palace and then just closed the game and quit because it was so boring later on when i gave it a second chance i pushed through and kept playing and man the world literally mesmerized me the side quests were super fun and there is just an insane amount of stuff to do one of the most striking parts of the game is the role playing aspect and the fact that your choices actually have consequences which just elevates the game to a whole another level i think they did an incredibly successful job and this game straight up deserves a 9.2/10

man i had never played a game in this genre before it is honestly super simple and easy there isnt anything crazy deep going on but it still isnt bad at all its just a perfect chill game to lean back and clear your head

sleeping dogs is basically chinese gta but i genuinely enjoyed playing it it is a pretty nice game just to chill and clear your head it doesnt promise anything unbelievable there is a story running in the background it isnt super deep or anything but you can definitely say it is at least better than having no story at all

mafia 2 honestly has a super special place for me it was one of the few games i played as a kid that actually made me feel like i was playing a real story driven game i dont know i just really love this game i replayed it when i got older too i guess the mafia story just really hooks me that famous joe wasnt part of our deal line is still stuck in my head the game overall doesnt really offer a crazy amount of stuff you cant just mess around in the open world however you want because man this is a mafia game not gta you just use the open world to get to your missions and i honestly think that is perfectly enough at least it isnt a total disaster like the 3rd game

easily the best hitman game i have ever played it just isnt like the other ones where its all episodically planned like hop into this level here are your targets go take them out or whatever instead there is an actual story running in the background it genuinely made me feel like i had an actual purpose to keep playing which is exactly why i love this one so much

since it was the first hitman game i ever played it seriously has a very special place for me i beat this game multiple times it is honestly just a straight up hitman game

i really dont want to say much about this game kyle crane turning into a volatile wtf i mean as a concept its not a bad idea but the way they executed it in the game just isnt that enjoyable i honestly couldnt really get into this one i think it feels a lot duller compared to the previous ones it definitely has things it does well but in my eyes it is pretty weak compared to the first two games

dying light 2 stay human definitely took a step forward from the first game we can say the parkour is a lot more diverse and we get this paraglider type of thing the overall experience is really fun i didnt enjoy it quite as much as the first one but it is absolutely a blast to play having choices and different endings is a nice touch but the story really isnt that good its just a pretty average story overall the gameplay is definitely what carries the whole game

honestly speaking i really dont understand the scores people gave to this game it is just a super fun game to play they combined a zombie game with parkour mechanics and the parkour is actually really enjoyable and offers a great experience it gets especially fun when you play it with your friends i literally played this game for almost 90 hours with different friends

far cry 3 was my first open world game and it honestly didnt feel like anything else i had played before we were dropped in the middle of this massive island and we had those cool tattoos on our arm i think this game is basically the pioneer of that whole climb a tower to reveal the map then go clear out the enemy camp and take over the area formula everyone should definitely give it a try though right now the market is flooded with games exactly like this so it might not feel as impressive today but for its time it was seriously a legend

Dark Souls 3 is definitely FromSoftware s masterpiece the visuals are incredible and the boss fights are extremely fun there is a huge amount of variety too the map design and the gameplay are genuinely great this is undeniably the best game in the trilogy

man this game is seriously unbelievable my first souls game was sekiro and everyone kept saying how sekiro is crazy hard and dark souls is way easier so after barely managing to beat sekiro sweating blood i downloaded this and jumped in only to realize i am absolute trash at this game it literally beat my ass at first until i finally got the hang of it but honestly the world design is just god tier the maps are straight up like a maze and there is constantly some shortcut opening up connecting everything together since its one of the games that started the whole genre its super valuable to me it easily deserves a solid 8.5/10

It is honestly a really fun game that is just perfect for chilling and clearing your head. Playing as a ninja is super satisfying and the level designs along with the overall visuals are genuinely really nice

First off I gotta say I actually uninstalled this game and reinstalled it later. That snowy part at the very beginning is just way too slow and honestly it was so boring I couldn't handle it back then and just dropped it. When I installed it the second time it didn't bother me as much but you still get into the story way too slowly man. Once you get past the train mission and move the camp the game suddenly opens up and feels way better. You start seeing different people outside the camp there aren't towns everywhere on the map just in specific spots but the npcs there aren't just placed to stand around. They actually have things to do and it feels like they genuinely live there. The missions are already legendary and the story flow is so good I really liked the design of Saint Denis. There was one thing driving me crazy early on though I kept thinking why the hell is this guy moving so slowly the character felt super clunky. Then I realized something when controlling Arthur it actually feels like I am the one walking in real life. After a while I honestly started to love that heavy clunky feeling. The gunfights are just absolutely perfect I have never seen gunplay this satisfying in any other game. The melee animations are rock solid too when you stab someone with a knife you really feel the weight of it since the whole point of the game is to make everything feel real anyway. Story wise I genuinely ended up loving Arthur I didn't really vibe with him at first but the more I played the more attached I got to the dude and Sadie s character arc was really good too. I especially gotta point out that they pulled off something other devs usually fail at which is connecting the story to the first game so perfectly they explain everything one by one we even get to see that famous house being built. The revenge part at the end didn't feel super satisfying to me but it still isn't bad this game is a straight up masterpiece and hands down deserves a 9.6/10

The game definitely stays true to the original. The graphics look really nice and the story is great. They also added a few extra little things on top of the old one. Angelo's story is honestly super interesting and the game just pulls you right in

When I booted up Metro Exodus I was fully expecting those same tight tunnels from the first two games. But they took a massive risk and actually made a semi open world Metro game. It was a really bold move and some people say it betrayed the core formula but I completely disagree. Playing it like this was super fun and I am seriously telling you it wasn't a mistake. Even though I still prefer those tight claustrophobic vibes the game is solid as hell like this too. You can totally see where the budget went because the graphics are just gorgeous. I know people had optimization issues at launch but it ran perfectly smooth for me with zero problems. I actually beat it somewhere else first then went and bought the whole trilogy just to replay it all over again. I honestly think it is a very special franchise for gaming. But man the biggest issue with Exodus is the year it came out. Like it dropped in 2019 and Artyom is still a silent protagonist. It was fine back in 2010 but now it just feels like a joke. NPCs come up and pour their hearts out to me and our guy just stands there staring. Speak up Artyom damn it. Having a wife in the game is actually a great touch and it feels pretty realistic to having an actual wife. As you progress and leave the metro to go to completely different areas the whole vibe of the game changes too but definitely not in a bad way

I honestly don't think there is much to talk about when it comes to this game. It wasn't bad though

Metro 2033 Redux was a series I kept seeing in videos from creators I watch. They were talking about the Metro trilogy and how the series has a really dedicated fanbase and gets a lot of praise. I mostly saw positive feedback but I honestly had zero idea what the game was actually about. I played it through Steam family sharing because it just showed up in my library so I downloaded it. It was an old game but I really don't mind old games as long as they are good. I booted it up and it had this weird menu screen and I was genuinely confused about what kind of game this even was. Right at the beginning I woke up in a weird place and went to see some guy named Hunter. Suddenly we got attacked by these weird creatures. Hunter told me to do a few things if he doesn't make it back. Right then in like the first 10 minutes it just clicked for me and I realized man this game could actually be amazing. I guess I just have a weak spot for these kinds of games. I really love the whole survival and radiation theme. Seeing that ruined world and people desperately struggling to survive mixed with all the betrayals was just great. Then out of nowhere **** showed up and we had to fight them and I was just like what is even going on. I felt a bit lost with the story at times but overall it was a really fun game. The beginning of the game was basically a tease for the ending I think. They showed us a quick glimpse at the start and when we reached the end we saw that same part again. That moment at the very end when we launched those missiles and blew everything up man this game is honestly awesome.

We already knew Miles was gonna be spiderman the second we played as him in the first game. Playing as Miles was honestly really fun his invisibility and venom punches are super satisfying but man the game is way too short. I beat it in like 6 hours and it definitely isn't worth the price. Some of you might say to do the side stuff but it's completely repetitive. You do one mission and then a spot opens up on the map telling you to go do 15 or 20 more of the exact same thing. There is no extra depth and the game doesn't offer much. It's literally just the first games map but covered in snow. For the price they ask the amount of actual new content is way too low

I was honestly really surprised when God of War won game of the year back in 2018. I wasn't really familiar with the genre or the God of War series back then. I had heard about it but I was pretty young at the time so it just never really caught my attention. I was fully expecting RDR 2 to win because I had at least seen that game and it looked seriously good. But my entire opinion changed after I actually played God of War for myself. There were so many moments while playing where I just thought to myself man this game is actually really good. So I have no problem at all with it winning the award. Some people still say it didn't deserve it but this game is just incredibly solid

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare literally caused a revolution in the gaming world when it first came out. Even after all these years you can still get an incredible amount of enjoyment out of it if you play it today. The missions in the game were just absolutely amazing too. The feeling that specific sniper mission gave you was just incredible. You are lying there on the ground in a camo suit while massive tanks and a bunch of soldiers are walking right past you and you are just waiting in dead silence for them to pass. At one point you are literally crawling right under their trucks before finally making it to the spot to do the actual mission. This one is seriously a very special Call of Duty game for me and it holds a completely different place in my heart.

Bioshock Remastered actually looks like a solid game but if I had played it right when it came out it definitely would have left a much better impression on me. The game honestly isn't bad at all but I just couldn't get into it. It just didn't hook me. I played for like 4 hours but something just felt off. You really just can't feel that magical vibe everyone talks about when you play it years later. So sadly I just ended up dropping it without finishing

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is honestly the best Spider-Man game I've played so far. They did a really great job with it. I mean what do you even want from a game like this? You just want to swing around the city and actually feel like Spider-Man and they nailed that perfectly. The suits are pretty cool too. I kept switching them up and trying different ones during my playthrough. I wasn't a big fan of most of them but the Amazing Spider-Man and the original classic suit looked really good to me.Besides that the graphics are just gorgeous. I played it in 2026 so I don't know if it had issues at launch but right now the optimization is super solid. When you turn on RT the city looks amazing and it's just so much fun to swing **** side stuff is fun but only if it doesn't get super repetitive. Sadly the side activities in this game get old pretty fast. The side quests weren't bad though. I did a few of them and they were enjoyable but after a while I just dropped them and rushed the main story to finish the **** of my favorite things to do was taking guys out in stealth. I played some parts entirely stealthy because I honestly prefer that over the regular combat. The puzzles were fun and pretty easy to solve too. I used to play Saints Row back in the day and it had puzzles that were super similar to these.Overall it's a really good game but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece. Still it's the best Spider-Man game I've got my hands on. I haven't had the chance to play Spider-Man 2 yet. Maybe that one is even better, I'll have to play it and see. But this one definitely deserves an easy 8/10

GTA 4 is definitely one of the most important games in the GTA series. The innovations it brought and its game engine are really high quality. It's an extremely beautiful game but the world design just depresses me. The game is so gray, I really wish it wasn't like that but at the same time it feels incredibly realistic. I've only played through the story of two games in the GTA franchise and those are GTA 4 and GTA San Andreas. Both of their stories were pretty nice. Even though he is no CJ, playing as Niko Bellic wasn't bad at all :D

Call of Duty Black Ops... yeah, this game is definitely my childhood trauma. I totally understand those age restriction ratings now because I was way too young when I played it. Right at the very beginning on the main menu, there was a guy tied to an electric chair getting tortured. Plus all those random numbers popping up everywhere... I was terrified of the game but I kept playing it anyway.Those names from the game are still stuck in my head. When you think of Call of Duty villains, Makarov and Shepherd come to mind, but I will never forget the trio from this game either. How could I ever forget "Dragovich, Kravchenko, Steiner... all must die"? That Nova 6 mission was absolutely unbelievable. I think he was a scientist, we shoved broken glass into his mouth and punched him, and then we were jumping across rooftops. Call of Duty used to be such a unique franchise that actually delivered brand new content with every new release. This game is absolutely amazing, man. It's still rock solid today and definitely worth playing

I'm not really a fan of this genre normally. I usually get too lazy to read long dialogues and just lose interest. But Disco Elysium is one of the rare games that actually managed to break that for me. The art design, characters, and the world itself are absolutely beautiful. At first when I was just wandering around I felt like I was never going to figure things out but somehow it all just comes together. I played it for 20 hours without getting bored once. I don't know much about this genre but this game is definitely a solid 9/10

Fallout New Vegas is an absolute masterpiece. I've never enjoyed role-playing in a game this much in my entire life. I haven't found any other game that offers this many choices either. Even though it's buggy and full of problems that doesn't change the fact that it's a fantastic game. Stalker 2 is actually the same way but those technical issues don't overshadow how good these games are. It's really sad that New Vegas has so many glitches just because it was developed in such a short amount of time. I played a game from 2010 in 2026. It's been 16 years and we've seen so many technological revolutions but there are still very few games at this level today. It's still incredibly beautiful and holds up perfectly. This is definitely the best game I've played in the Fallout series. That green world of Fallout 3 was really nice too but Fallout New Vegas is just on a whole different level. It almost feels like it doesn't belong to our universe. This game is simply a masterpiece. The bugs and glitches can't change that fact in any way. It deserves nothing less than a 10/10

I was incredibly hyped for Stalker 2 and it honestly looked gorgeous. I put almost 23 hours into it but just couldn't bring myself to finish it. The save system is awful and the optimization is still a total mess. It has so much potential but the technical bugs make it practically unplayable for me. Every single NPC just treats you like an errand boy. Go here do this go there fix that now run all the way over there to grab an item and bring it back. I got so sick of these constant fetch quests that I lost all motivation to even walk around the map. The fact that the character slows down to an absolute crawl when your inventory gets heavy drove me crazy. I get that some hardcore players love that kind of realism but I hated it and really wish there was an option to just toggle it off. Sure you move okay if you keep your weight in the green but your stamina still drains constantly and takes forever to recharge. Dealing with all that just burned me out. The story didn't grab me at all either. Mostly I just felt like I was wandering around aimlessly and the storytelling was so weak that I honestly didn't understand what was going on half the time. Fast travel is super annoying too since you have to track down specific guides in certain areas and even then you can only go to a handful of places. To be fair making choices that actually lead to different endings was pretty cool and I enjoyed that part. Even with all its glaring technical flaws I still managed to sink 23 hours into it because just walking around and taking in the world is genuinely nice. The graphics are sweet and the atmosphere is top tier but the bugs just completely killed the vibe for me. Exploring is barely rewarding too. You travel all that way just to find a place and get absolutely nothing that makes the trip feel worth it. That totally kills your desire to keep exploring as the game goes on. Honestly for my last 3 or 4 hours I just rushed through the main story. Also the enemy AI is a complete joke right now. Sometimes I would literally walk right past them and they wouldn't even react. Despite everything it clearly could have been an incredible game but with how it is right now I'd give it a 7/10

Sekiro is the game with the most enjoyable combat. Bosses seem impossible to beat at first. However, the feeling of that moment when you realize you can actually beat them is something else entirely. There is no other game where the parry mechanic is executed this well. Once you learn the Mikiri mechanic, the game becomes much easier to play. The storage space the game takes up is also quite small. That moment when you use a thrust attack on Owl Father and he hits you right back with a Mikiri counter was so epic. The hardest boss in the game, Isshin, fights differently across his various phases. Getting used to those phases and finally defeating him is extremely satisfying. Beating a tough boss in this game just feels incredibly good. It is honestly really weird that the game doesn't have any DLCs. It was a highly successful game. I hope we get a sequel. The score this game deserves is 9/10

Shadow of the Erdtree isn't just a DLC, it feels like a full game. If it were any other company, they would sell it at full price. Enough said

Elden Ring is without a doubt the best game in the souls genre. I don't know why, but this game feels a bit easier compared to other souls games. There are a ton of things you can do to get stronger. The enemy variety and difficulty are quite balanced. Except for a few bosses, the game is not really that hard. There is an incredible amount of weapons. You can make any build you want and play however you like. It has very high NG+ potential. The open world is massive and packed with content everywhere. The art design of the game is absolutely beautiful. I took countless screenshots of different places while roaming the map. Sometimes the camera focus goes crazy on highly mobile bosses like dragons and looks at completely random places. You can even miss ranged attacks because of this. Aside from a few things like this, the game is truly perfect. The score this game deserves is 9.7/10

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut offers an atmosphere that is truly unique. The visuals are stunning, featuring vibrant flower fields and mountains to explore. Both stealth gameplay and direct sword combat are extremely satisfying. When you consider the budget which is actually quite small compared to massive triple A title sit’s an impressive achievement. However, the combat starts to feel repetitive after a while, and you don't really feel a sense of progression past a certain point. There's nothing that makes you feel like you're truly leveling up even as you unlock different skills from the talent tree, that feeling of growth just isnt there. The lack of enemy variety also makes the game feel a bit dull over time because everything eventually turns into a repetitive loop. As beautiful and enjoyable as the atmosphere is these issues definitely hold the game back

Dishonored is an absolute masterpiece. It literally feels like getting two games for the price of one. Whether you go in killing everyone or play completely in stealth without killing anyone or getting caught, both approaches are incredibly enjoyable. The world design is absolutely amazing. Seeing plague-masked assassins roaming around with superpowers is truly fantastic. Playing as Daud in The Knife of Dunwall DLC was also a lot of fun. Time stopping completely when using Blink and having some different abilities really made me feel like I wasn't playing as Corvo. This game definitely offers an incredible experience that every gamer needs to have. The score this game deserves is absolutely 9.5/10

The Last of Us Part 1 is an exceptionally successful game. It is a truly enjoyable title and a solid piece of work that anyone who loves survival-themed games, like myself, would certainly appreciate. However, even playing it in 2026 the PC optimization is still not quite there. Despite the recommended RAM being 16 GB playing on a Windows 11 system with 16 GB of RAM proves insufficient at high graphic settings the RAM falls short, and the system relies heavily on virtual memory. While the optimization quality is mediocre, the gameplay remains fun and the relationship between the characters is masterfully handled. Their gradual bonding is very touching, and the events at the end of the game were truly incredible. The narrative structure is highly successful, and when we set aside the optimization issues, the visuals are stunning; the buildings and the world-building are truly magnificent. If it weren't for this optimization disaster it could have been a 10/10 game but unfortunately it deserves an 8/10

This game has the best visuals and art design of any game I've played so far. It definitely managed to make even someone like me, who doesn't like turn-based combat, really love it. The parry mechanic makes the combat incredibly enjoyable. Overall, while the combat might be quite diverse for other players, I stuck to a fixed set of six abilities across all three characters and generally didn't change them, except for a few minor things. With its storytelling, cinematics, and the colors of its world, this game is an absolute masterpiece. It has an exceptionally beautiful story, and the ending is truly well-written. It is worth every penny. Moreover, they are only asking $34 for this game, which is genuinely incredible. It's a very rich world that's great to explore, and the rewards for exploring are also satisfying. However, having to walk everywhere up to a certain point in the game got pretty boring at times. Therefore, taking everything into consideration, my rating for the game is 9.7/10
