Dying Light

I am truly blown away by how gorgeous this game looks. From every angle and every vantage point, the sprawling, desolate city has been created in vivid detail and the lighting effects help to create a sense of realism to your plight that can even make you feel a little like this event could actually happen.

Forget Dead Island, the most famous production from Techland. Dying Light is more "survival", and more "horror". It's not a perfect game, but it's pretty scary and challenging, especially if you love parkour.

Whether it's free running run one side of a map to the other, traversing great heights or simply making a zombies head explode with a baseball bat, Light offers you plenty of diversity to keep the game interesting.

Fun and good looking, but hardly revolutionary. That would be the perfect definition for dying Light, which seems to conform with just introducing parkour mechanics to justify its spin on the zombie games genre.

Dying Light features some truly serene moments as you glide from building to building, but once that serenity halts, so does the player’s enjoyment.

It’s a shame those moments aren’t more frequent, though, because I really wanted to like Dying Light more than I did. I still wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it if you’re in need of some schlocky fun, there are just some caveats clutching on to this recommendation that even a bloody hatchet won’t fix.

Dying Light desperately tries to be all of the videogames in a bid to impress everybody. If only it had tried as hard to be its own thing, we’d have had an amazing horror game on our hands. Instead, we just have another indistinct jack-of-all-trades to throw on top of the ever growing pile.

It’s playable, but it’s not as good as the Xbox one version. You can’t transfer your saves to the complete edition on ps4 unfortunately. Every console has one trade off or another. But it is a great game, I’ll give it that.

Realized I didn't have a single negative review on my account for games so here I am. This game is not good. For me, at least. I don't like that it's just a parkour game disguised as a zombie survival game. The combat ****, the acting is terrible, and the gameplay is more annoying than challenging. Maybe it's just not for me. I'd like to mention that I haven't gotten anywhere close to finishing the game so probably look for other reviews but yeah this game just isn't very good.
