Detestable pathetic garbage trash **** you If the first godawful ****friended had anything going for it, it was maybe the consistent enough computer UI and all that other spunk. This garbage not only has none of that but is just an overall cumshow. The acting is so bad, so pathetic, so worthless. The characters are so ****ing stupid that they deserved to die. The hacker character's able to cover himself up on the webcams by turning into some ****ing pixel-spunk-diarrhea combination with muffled audio for some reason too. He can also just come into everyone's house like he hacked the **** door open or something??? Or maybe the characters just left their doors open because they're already **** dumbasses. The consistency from the first **** is just completely gone in favor of this movie using tension "building" music as if it ****ing does a goddamn thing which it doesn't, and pretending like it can happen with the movie still following that computer screen gimmick which is already a ****ing hate crime. The script is worse than sex with me. The plot is warm garbage with two garbage alternative endings because we thought we'd get away with just one, and as if two endings ****ing mattered when the whole movie is executives pretending like they didn't just **** themselves. Seriously how is this not a porno? Inexcusable pathetic scrotum. **** you, seriously just **** you. ****ing Dog****: Dark Web

Yes! I've been procrastinating on this one for forever, and people kept saying that this one isn't as good as the first Creed. That blinds us easily. It easily makes us think that something's just straight up not worth watching because it's "not as good." But this thing was great. I like that it didn't forcefully introduce any new characters but instead just developed Creed, Bianca and Rocky more. Those are the characters I enjoy watching and there was more to learn about them so why not? Bianca has a small singing thing going for her and she sounded gooooooood. The only thing I was a bit indifferent on was the pregnancy ****. It happens immediately after they have sex after Creed proposes. Why does it always happen like that? Like they've been together for a while and only now she gets greganananant. Did they have sex for the first time? That whole thing was pretty pointless overall. While fine to watch, the story follows the same predictable formula. It's the same thing again; Creed wins a fight, takes another fight since he's overly confident and loses it and then you go through some mental ups and downs and get ready to fight the same dude again. Nothing groundbreaking is done here, but the directing is good so it's still enjoyable to watch. The training montages were great, the character moments felt genuine, and the camerawork was fun, albeit not as creative as in the first Creed. Bianca's small music subplot is used creatively during the last fight's entrance which I thought was very surprising and awesome. The soundtrack to the movie itself was great too. Rap, once again, by many artists that specifically made music for this film. I loved it. The antagonist or whatever the **** main boxing bad guy was pretty good too. Nothing too special but they took an old bad guy from the Rocky's who had cummed a son, and made the son some sort of killing machine. It was an interesting twist, but it's not like Creed was gonna lose anyway since the whole movie builds up to that last fight in the same way every Rocky movie does. But it was fine. Not the old bad guy though. The actor was bad. Also sometimes the fight scenes looked fake and the audience looked like two extras copy pasted to be an entire boxing audience. Maybe the director was high ¯_(ツ)_/¯ That is all :D

In 2015 Disney released a live-action remake of Cinderella. I found it to be pretty enjoyable and well made for what it was, but it was basically a shot for shot copy paste of the original one, and with a distracting Robb Stark showing Cinderella a tiny garden room with a bigass swing for some reason. Naturally that was an immediate sign that Cinderella wouldn't be the only remake of a beloved original; Disney would definitely make sure we get a dozen or two of these. Lion King is already the third remake in 2019 and not the last one either, so at this point Disney has basically started spamming us in the face with these films, because aside from the technical side, it's not exactly hard to take a movie and make an identical one again. All the story work has already been done for them... by them??? I've seen it twice now, and I've got like nothing to say that you wouldn't get by just watching the OG one. It's Lion King again but without the colors and without the animated charm, but it does have great covers of the classic songs I guess. I didn't really feel the extra 30 minutes anywhere except in some unnecessary filler scenes. There was an extra song too for Scar that was alright I guess. He didn't really sing, he just kinda talked but in a half singing way. Some of the extra minutes probably came in since the movie treats you like you're a f*cking dumbass and shows you flashbacks of scenes that literally happen in the same movie, just so you would understand that scene even though it doesn't exactly require much. This film gives you exactly what you can expect. Cinematic karaoke. Childish Gambino and Beyonce sing very well despite Beyonce's random show offs that sounded a lot more like Beyonce than a singing lion. But I mean she can sing and it's not like it's gonna ruin the original Lion King all of a sudden so whatever. There's nothing really wrong with the songs and they're most likely the thing you're waiting for constantly since the story parts especially during the second act are so f*cking boring. Not even Pumba could save the second act by **** himself constantly since they just used lazy stock sounds and he was kinda just pushed to the back. The second act even has a goofy scene **** eating Simba's hair and then **** it out so a cockroach can roll the s*it around until it breaks and the hair just so happens to be taken to Rafiki by ants. Sure it ends up having a meaning to the plot in the end but it's goofy as Goofy. Rafiki himself is still good though. He's barely in the film but he's voiced pretty well. All of the voice acting is pretty good in the end. James Earl Jones sounds fantastic once again and Childish Gambino is pretty good. Beyonce wasn't that great. It just sounded like Beyonce in the studio. The CGI, just like in the other Disney remake movies, is amazing and the film basically looks completely real. Although that was never the point to be honest. The animated movie had a ton of charm because it was NOT realistic. The animals moved and smiled and laughed in an exaggerated way and that's why it was easy to care for them and the scenes were super entertaining. Here everything looks braindead because real lions can't even smile. Even the Mufasa death which is the most emotional scene in the original movie is kind of hilarious here. Scar decides to **** slap Mufasa instead of throwing him down the cliff and the shot of Simba screaming looks really off. This whole joint is just really goofy to watch and ended up being more comical than emotional. But sure, some scenes like Mufasa talking to Simba from the sky was still really powerful because you can't really f*ck that up, can you? One thing I absolutely have to give credit about though is the fact that Hollywood resisted the urge to put more feminist trash in this movie. They actually didn't do it!!!! It was so nice to see lions acting like lions instead of getting political and going full Emoji Movie like Aladdin did :D

Whether or not this film was essential remains for everyone to decide themselves, but Jesse Pinkman being mostly overshadowed by Walter White, but now getting an epilogue just for himself, is kind of beautiful. It's not really a stand-alone film because you definitely have to have seen Breaking Bad in order to get the most out of this. And there are a handful of things to point out when it comes to flaws, like the semi stretched out story and the TV episode feel of this "movie", but I didn't feel like it was relevant at all to really nitpick all these things. It's all about Jesse letting go of the past completely and finding a new happiness. Sure it takes a while to get going and the film relies heavily on flashbacks to give context, but it has its ways of creating tension to keep you interested, and eventually you're hit with the last 30 minutes that are definitely the best of the film, and I really really liked the ending. Say what you want or start a riot about whether or not this film has any reason to exist, but I sort of always imagined Jesse's story to eventually go this way. And Aaron Paul's awesome. This whole thing just left a warm feeling inside my ice cold heart, even though I hadn't seen Breaking Bad for maybe five years. All the memories of this awesome story just came back in an instant. The ending to Breaking Bad was perfect, but this epilogue was nearly perfect for Breaking Bad aswell, so what difference does it really make in the end? Eat my a$$

This movie was F*CKING TERRIBLE and can burn in hell. I have no idea what David Yates has been smoking but he just made the worst goddamn Harry Potter film ever and they are thinking about making three more?? Or I can't say I'm surprised since basically all this movie does is set up things for a sequel. And Jesus Christ is it so awful to watch through. This movie starts with an alright scene of Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp. He's flying a carriage in the middle of a storm. It was pretty cool. Then the film escalates into endless scenes of just jumping around to different places, people delivering atrocious dialogue that was written by J.K Rowling herself, and basically no development to Grindelwald himself whatsoever even though this film is supposed to be about him. Or so you would think. He's barely in this film anyway. He has a couple scenes but he just disappears all the time until the random confusing "climax" of the film. When it comes to the other characters, this film basically just forces in new faces that no one knows nor cares about. Just tons of characters everywhere that keep setting up something for the sequels. It was so goddamn confusing. Later the film tries to have these "shocking" reveals of these new faces and it was absolutely cringeworthy since I still couldn't even remember their names nor did I care. I just wanted to see Grindelwald or Newt Scamander again. There's barely even a main character since Newt also just disappears every now and then for a while and you're left wondering what these other characters are supposed to even do or mean for the story. Well what about the story itself? Well I really don't have a damn clue. This loud mess just keeps jumping to these different plots without any sort of direction like the director had a seizure in the editing room. Something something happens, we see Newt for a little while and everyone thinks the movie is back on track again, and then it jumps to something something again. IT'S SUCH A MESS. No one is given any time to focus on so we could attach ourselves to at least someone. The pacing is horrible. This f*cking jumping around and shoving all this stuff to your face is so rushed and messy that it just goes past the point of caring about anything and the movie ends up being painfully boring. I love the Harry Potter films, and sometimes even this randomness has some of those magical moments though. The visual effects are spectacular, especially in Newt's briefcase world, the setting is very nice and atmospheric, the score is great and I enjoyed Eddie Redmayne's, Jude Law's and Johnny Depp's performances. Even if Johnny Depp wasn't as intense as I'd hoped and even when Jude Law wasn't in the film for longer than probably 10 minutes. Jude Law especially was wasted potential. Also, Hogwarts is in this movie for about 15 minutes and I LOVED IT!!! But seriously, that's where it ends. This absolute mess of a film has a confusing and boring plot, endless sequel bait, awful new characters, atrocious pacing and dialogue and just straight up no interest in paying attention to what we would like to see. They also put Nicolas Flamel in the film who I recognized from the Harry Potter films, but instead of making him a meaningful character with some backstory and actual personality traits, he's just used as a comic relief. He does this weird stupid slow run that's supposed to make the audience go HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!!!! But it was just random. After the film I basically had no idea what had happened and what's supposed to happen in the upcoming third film. I heard almost everyone asking each other if they understood anything either. If your audience can't understand almost a single thing that happens in your movie, you should maybe change a couple things. At the time of writing this the film has already made almost 440 million dollars in the box office, so I guess they're just getting away with this anyway.

Captain America Civil War is easily the best non-Avengers Marvel film, even though this movie kind of is just a third Avengers. And I don't mean the best as in it's a bit better than the other ones, I mean this movie is actually kind of incredible. I think the first Avengers is the only film that I'd say is better than this. The Russo brothers directed the hell out of this film. They use this cool old school big text on the screen every time a scene takes place in a different location, or with the year as well. With its camerawork, colors and even sound design the film's a lot more stylistic than the previous ones. A flashback scene involving the Winter Soldier has this very dark tone and they use some close shots and an echo-y effect on a gunshot and a car crash to make the scene a lot more disturbing than it would've felt without them. It's all these little details that the film has throughout that makes it feel so much more special. The action, especially in the airport scene, is fantastic, cool and fun to watch. This film lasts for two and a half hours and it felt like it went through in 15 minutes. Even the exposition scenes were handled very well and the dialogue was a lot better. The pace too is basically perfect. I seriously never got bored. Sure it's a bit weird that they throw all these scenes in involving a ton of characters in a Captain America film, but mostly all of them were still entertaining, interesting and felt like they matter. And just like with the first Avengers, there are no uninteresting side characters because there's basically no room for them whatsoever. This film has like 12 goddamn superheroes that are almost all set up in the earlier films. Even if it took 12 films to set up all these characters and to get to this point, it is really paying off here. Although that doesn't change the fact that a lot of the earlier films were really boring, and a film like The Incredible Hulk was just incredibly and laughably terrible. The film isn't completely perfect though. There was the Zemo guy still and he ****. His scenes broke the immersion for me a lot even when they were short because his acting was so much worse than the superheroes' and as a character he was just bland. I'm happy that he didn't technically turn out to be a villain at least, because this movie more like turns the superheroes against each other which was very clever. This film definitely has me interested to see more. It's an improvement in creativity, action and actual interesting drama as well. Great film.

Bullshingles. After watching Guardians of the Galaxy which I thought was great, and Avengers Age of Ultron which was alright, I was starting to think that maybe these Marvel films are finally starting to get better. But now they made this thing to not have me too excited for the future. The film starts and the first thing that throws me off a bit is how awful it looks. Just terrible colors, bad lighting, bland. We're introduced to Hank Pym who created the Ant-Man suit, and the villain of the film who in typical Marvel fashion was a very bad uninteresting villain. And also Scott Lang who's the main character. Hank Pym and Scott Lang were both alright but I didn't really care about them during this film. Paul Rudd as an actor shows promise though. I liked him. The first 20 to 30 minutes were basically setup. It takes a lot of time before Scott finally decides to do a break-in and find the Ant-Man suit. Interestingly the movie felt the need to set up the villain a lot longer which was pretty weird. So it basically takes 30 minutes for anything fun to start happening. The break-in scene was pretty good and neatly edited and Scott testing out the suit was also pretty cool but didn't last very long. Hank training Scott was decent, but the movie kept going back to the villain who was s*it. The thing with these origin stories is that you know there's never really gonna be any cool superhero stuff where the superhero would know what they're doing until like the climax of the film. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Iron Man is a great example of how to do an origin story right. This movie's not. This movie's just decent to below decent after the novelty wears off. I did not feel like I was watching a movie from the same studio that made the first Avengers and I definitely didn't think I was watching a set up movie that's literally adding this character to the Avengers too. This film was painfully uninteresting, generic and looked way cheaper than the other Marvel films from the second phase at least. Having a more original backstory definitely would've helped and investing more time in to the writing and effects would've probably made this feel more like a film that belongs in this Marvel universe.

Nov 20, 2018
Age of Ultron is kinda alright. It starts strong with awesome action. Especially a one shot that shows us all the Avengers doing their thing and working together, and for probably 20 to 30 minutes the film keeps giving us action and fun dialogue scenes between the heroes that was probably the best part about the first Avengers film and definitely this one too, even if the dialogue in this film is pretty bad. Although after Ultron is set up, the film becomes pretty forgettable. They get to a safe place, and talk, and plan, and talk, and Hawkeye kisses his wife a couple million times. This goes on probably for an hour or so. It's alright for what it is since I like the Avengers interacting together, but the script doesn't really do anything with the characters themselves, other than maybe Hulk and Black Widow because they have that romance thing which was actually kinda cute. But none of the other characters are really developed. They're just there doing their thing and talking about how we need to do this and that to stop the evil little cheeky Ultron. The movie also has the twins from the credits scene in "Captain America Winter Soldier" and they were useless. No character development, didn't care about them in any way. They were just tossed in to the movie because I guess they had to do something with them. The movie also sets up a new character when there's only like 45 minutes left of the movie which was pretty weird and at the end clearly indicates that this character matters in the later films. Third act is just action. I enjoyed it even though the whole film to that point had felt kind of inconsequential. They fight Ultron who was a pretty worthy foe for the film. He was funny and pretty interesting. Although I still wasn't feeling any big changes to the universe. If anything significant in the universe changed during the film, it wasn't told very clearly or in an interesting way. This film for the most part just felt like it was here to give us some cool moments for all the Avengers, but not really develop them that much. And at the end it obviously sets up a new movie. Not nearly as good as the first Avengers film, but Age of Ultron is enjoyable as a dumb action blockbuster that's loud and has attractive people doing big things in it.

So Marvel can actually make good movies!!!!!!!! Guardians of the Galaxy is great. This is a film that finally feels like its own thing. It's a film that does not require you to watch any other movies first, and it sure as hell doesn't expect you to have watched some TV show either. The film introduces its main character with an awesome scene of him going to get an orb while listening to "Come And Get Your Love". I immediately felt invested and the film has great personality and style. It also has way better colors than any of the Marvel films before it. The film in every way feels like a superhero film. It's colorful, loud and one of the most visually creative films in a long time. The action was plentiful despite being a little bit of a CGI chaos, and I loved the characters and I'm seriously interested to see Galaxy 2 purely for them. Last time I felt that was maybe with Iron Man, and it was definitely refreshing after watching a Captain America movie. Even though I'm not that into Sci-Fi I still enjoyed this immensely. The pace is solid and keeps everything moving even if there are some exposition scenes, all the action is creative, the story is pretty good even though a bit generic and the characters are awesome, especially Rocket and Quill. Even the score was good! Just like the first Avengers film, this was a film that had so many fun and creative moments that I just couldn't help but smile. I would've liked a bit more characterization for the villain because he kinda **** in typical Marvel fashion, but the qualities easily outweigh the flaws.

Bohemian Rhapsody is easily one of the better music biopics in my opinion. It's not perfect, but it works both as an entertaining film and as a study of the legends, gladly in more ways than just a Wikipedia article turned to a movie script type. Rami Malek gives an Oscarworthy performance as Mercury in this fast stylish film about how Queen came to be and eventually gave a remarkable performance at "Live Aid". It's a film that will mostly be remembered for its terrific studio- and concert scenes that were all loud and entertaining. The concert scenes have probably the best sound mixing out of all music biopics. The hard bass and drum sounds in the cinema definitely made it feel like a real concert. Not to mention that the music itself is some of the best rock ever made and still to this day sounds completely timeless. But the movie also has to have something else than just music of course. And that's where it kind of succeeds but not really. The scenes stay colorful and stylish for the most part, but I couldn't help but feel like I'm more or less just waiting. The dialogue is pretty good and funny, but the film's pacing is all over the place. Sometimes it felt like the film's moving at goddamn light's speed, cramming all these different events in that are fighting to get screen time. It all stays very surface level since the movie has so much to say and sometimes it skips over events completely. The director also seemed to have some sort of ADHD when it came to the visuals. An interview scene uses a ton of fisheye lens and vibrating camera to the point of it being distracting. It compliments the point of the scene but it does not compliment your eyes. Also there's a concert scene that has these colorful city names flying to the screen, indicating how wide their tour was. That scene is a good way to get epilepsy even if you don't have epilepsy. Although I can safely say that I was never bored. There are a couple more "quiet" moments that are more of a slow burn which was nice, but the majority of the movie is yelling and people talking over each other. Maybe that's what rockstars do. For those who want an entertaining film of four legends and good timeless music are going to be satisfied. Despite apparent historical inaccuracies, the movie at least feels very "movie like" so it was always fun to watch and especially the "Live Aid" concert scene at the end of the film is a great one.

May Stan Lee rest in peace and may this copy paste film be assaulted with a glue gun. The first Captain America was a commercial for The Avengers. This film at least progresses the plot in some ways through some exposition and adding a new character to the universe, but it's mostly just the same drivel once again. The film starts by just feeling like cut material from a previous Marvel film. It feels like these people have no idea how to start a movie well. They just get straight to the talking and boredom. They do go on a ship to fight but for some reason Captain America can't take out this one guy even though he can hold a helicopter still in the third Captain America movie. I think it took the film like 40 minutes for me to start getting invested in it. We get these couple scenes of Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson going in public while cleverly "hiding" from people looking for them. It was pretty fun. Unfortunately that's where it all comes down to. This movie is just "pretty fun". You watch them fight and talk the exact same way they did in the last film(s). You get a couple set pieces here and there and they're cool but also very samey to the last ones. It's fine for what it is but I'm getting so bored of it. Marvel also expects you to have watched like half a season of the show "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." for you to be up to date with the plot, and I'm not gonna f*cking watch that show. Seriously. There is a scene early in the film that gives you information on Captain America's character and Peggy Carter, Cap's loved one from the first film. So if you haven't seen the first film, that scene is a nice way to give you a small dose of backstory, but after that it's just straight into the complicated plot of S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA. And to be honest it's just kind of ehhh. I'm really not invested in it at all. And what makes it even worse is the fact that Captain America is still a boring character. Chris Evans does what he can but there's not a lot to do with a character this lame. At the same time it's easy to rant a little bit about these films but also I feel like I've nothing to say really. Especially with these Captain America films. They're just BORING. It just feels like the whole point is to introduce a new character for the next Avengers film and save the most interesting story bits and consequences for that too. Just same s*it, different day.

Thor The Dark World is pointless. The film doesn't do anything for the MCU and nothing's different at the end of the film. I can say that it's better than the first one though. It doesn't spend as much time on earth as the first one did which was pretty awful. Although that's not to say that there aren't any earth scenes still. There are a couple, and they're tosh. The film starts with a war scene that aside from Thor, is filled with overacted cardboard cutout characters that are just excited about war and defending Asgard. I guess killing is fun. Even though I very much enjoy Asgard because of the colors and the awesome overall design, it feels like I'm just watching the first Thor all over again. People talk about the antagonist's evil plan, people walk around, the king says wise things. Like it's not awful but it's so generic and predictable. I just don't have f*ck all to say about it really. Or at least I thought so until the movie decides to go on earth again. At that point I wanted back to Asgard immediately. Natalie Portman is having a date with a guy, but the supper gets ruined by Natalie Portman's obnoxious friend. The film basically gives us this subplot that doesn't involve Thor in any way. Just large chunks of the film taken by Natalie Portman and friends. The colors on earth were awful, it was uninspiringly shot, the dialogue was bad and it's just so bland. It's not a very good idea to just ignore the scene stealer that's literally the title character and make us watch... whatever that earth stuff was. The film does go back to Asgard a lot more than the previous film luckily. Thor and Loki have great chemistry together and their plan against the villain was actually pretty interesting to watch. It was good stuff. There's a lot of potential in here and this could be a great action film even if it is messy and generic at times. There's a lot of exposition and when the action kicks in, it's fun but pretty chaotic where everything seems to explode when you touch it. Like the first Thor, it feels like a wasted opportunity. Even if Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are awesome, the film itself is predictable, underwhelming and has that awful subplot on earth that I struggle to think anyone actually took seriously when writing it. So yeah f*ck this movie, and also Natalie Portman's friend was standing in pouring rain but her shirt and hair were dry immediately after she walked off.

It Comes At Night is excellent for what it is, but it is another movie that shouldn't be called a horror movie. It's a suspenseful thriller with very minor horror elements. For people that want to get scared during the movie shouldn't watch it, because it relies so much more on the viewer actually thinking about it after watching it and THEN getting scared because of psychological elements. And I loved it. The film is a very immersive and claustrophobic story about paranoia and fear, and what it can turn people in to. It has pretty much no jumpscares since it completely relies on creating tension between the characters which was the most fresh kind of storytelling I've seen in some time. Joel Edgerton was absolutely fantastic. His character on paper sounds very simple, a family dad who wants to protect his family. But Joel Edgerton's performance made him a truly interesting and unpredictable character. He was interesting and charismatic during his quiet moments, and intense when he suddenly turned loud and paranoid. It was awesome and fascinating. The film itself is very hard to describe. It's the kind of film that sets up everything and makes you think of all these questions, and then just kind of leaves them to your own imagination even though the story and the character arcs clearly end. It almost feels like there's just a whole bunch of movie cut off and left for you to decide. It's at the same time very cool since the whole psychological aspect really started to get to me when I kept thinking about the film and watched some analysis videos, but it's also a bit too much left for the viewer. Like there's a whole plot twist that you just need to realize yourself. It's cool that the director has trust for the viewer, but I'm not surprised that many people ended up hating the film. It gives you a cool holy s*it moment once you start to understand the story, but not only is it a bit unsatisfying in the end, but the marketing was so f*cking misleading for this film that at points it almost felt like the story had been rewritten or something AFTER the trailer and the fantastic poster. Even after I understood the plot pretty much completely, there were still some questions left unanswered that I'd really like an answer to. Like the whole dog barking thing is never answered. Once you understand the plot, the dog barking makes pretty much no sense unless the dog was barking at something else that's completely random. Or why does the family make it a big deal to not go out at night? And we also don't get any backstory for the disease. When did it start spreading and what did it do? I mean I guess I'm okay with having the story focus on a family that's staying completely away from the disease, but it's weird to set up this whole plot and leave us with absolutely no information about the world, only the family. Even after all this venting, I still absolutely loved watching the film. It's intense, well acted and original and the director was clearly experimenting with this new idea of leaving a lot for the viewer's imagination and that way making the film stick with you, and it is very creative. But he went too far with it. Also, how was the dog able to cut the rope with literally just one bite? Those are some sharp teeth.

Just f*ck a fish and throw it in the water. A popular critically acclaimed film "Get Out" managed to be an interesting entertaining film for those too that didn't find it scary. That's almost the case with "It Follows" too. It Follows basically has a girl think that something is following her after a sexual encounter. Many other characters in the film also think about it and see it, and know that if it gets to you, it can kill you. The film gets a lot of things right. It has a fantastic original soundtrack that manages to make many scenes unsettling, I've had it on repeat for a while now. The film barely uses any jumpscares and instead just lets you have a close view of the supposedly scary thing, which I thought was a nice way of trying something else and playing with the viewers expectations. Although the soundtrack sometimes was maybe a bit too loud compared to the dialogue and other sounds overall which made at least two scenes a bit obnoxious with the soundtrack getting louder when stuff starts to happen. While the film was able to create a lot of tension, I didn't exactly find myself terrified at any point. I was interested in the story but I was never scared and didn't feel creeped out afterwards. But like I said, it's not a deal breaker with this one. I was constantly interested in seeing what's gonna happen with the characters and what the It thing overall is and what it resembles. The film is also very good with continuity. Many scenes pay a lot of attention to detail with people still walking or running in the background after many cuts. I also liked that the It can be seen already walking towards the characters even if it's not the main point of the scene yet for many seconds or even minutes. It was a very original way of creating tension, even though once again it wasn't exactly scary. Although this also kinda makes absolutely no sense. The film is very serious about the rules of this It thing. The characters say that It starts following you after a sexual encounter with the person that It was following. But they also say that the It thing is very slow and can only walk. Well, why not just f*ck something very fast that's not human? They didn't say you can't do that. Or why don't you just go somewhere where It can't follow you? I'm sure you can live in a house without breakable windows because your life depends on it. Just use common sense! I would still recommend this film to anyone that's even a bit interested in the story. It's not perfect since it's kinda dumb when you start thinking about it, and it has some ugly colors in some scenes even if they are a metaphor for something, bad acting from some of the cast and a straight up terrible ending which turned it in to more of an action movie. But it's also very impressive how the film was able to keep the atmosphere very unsettling for almost the whole film without using any jumpscares. It's clear that the filmmakers have talent here.

I think when it comes to these big studio animated movies, even these "bad" or these more hated and mediocre ones are still fine movies as they are. It was the case with Sinbad, Road to El Dorado which I specifically wanted to see because of the metascores, and it is definitely the case with Atlantis too. I thought this was a perfectly enjoyable adventure film that doesn't exactly stand out with its story or characters, but absolutely does with its animation which was at times breathtaking. Especially early on in the movie there was an underwater shot that combined 2D and 3D animation and it was absolutely enchanting to watch. Although there are a few nitpicks, like the character Audrey's lips that at points looked ****, and also Milo's cat early in the film. That wasn't a cat. I did enjoy watching many of the characters, but there are way too many of them. There's like one scene of them actually having a conversation and telling some of their backstories, but a lot of it is just each of them telling their story on their turn which wasn't that convincing. And some of them didn't even do that. The main character, Milo, asks about this one character at one point whose name I can't even remember and another character just says "You don't wanna know." Why the f*ck is he in this movie then? He didn't do s*it for the whole film and never even got a backstory. The story was decently enjoyable to follow. Although a lot of it is just Milo reading and figuring out something or talking with the character Kida, and it felt like the viewer was never really cued in to the thing. I somewhat knew what they were doing but there wasn't enough of visual storytelling so I was mostly just following exposition and the characters being excited about... something. There were points during the second act that were honestly pretty boring because of it. The movie gets a lot more interesting during the last 20-25 minutes when we get a couple character twists and the villain becomes clear to the characters. I very much enjoyed the last action scene both as a character moment for Milo and the villain and also as a visual spectacle. The score was also pretty good. In the end Atlantis is a fine movie that's not groundbreaking in any way despite the gorgeous visuals, and I can recommend watching it at least once if you haven't. You most likely have though. Also, the music during the end credits sounded like porn.

Hi-5 eats his own vomit in this film. The Emoji Movie is a fascinating car crash of animation. It's about Gene, the meh emoji who can also express other emotions. Because of this the villain, Smiler who literally just screams obnoxiously for the whole movie, wants him killed, or deleted I guess, this movie's rated PG after all. It's a film where you have no idea if it's actually a film or a commercial, since I would say 90% of it is just product placement. These characters literally just play Candy Crush for at least five full minutes at one point, and after that they fall in to Just Dance and play Just Dance for even longer. But basically Gene (voiced by T.J. Miller), and Hi-5 emoji, (voiced by the bored sounding James Corden) have to find Jailbreak, a hacker emoji, so she can code Gene to become a normal meh emoji again. And the idea is that they have to go through different apps in Alex's phone, but Alex is about to get the phone reset because of Gene not working as a normal meh emoji. The first thing where the movie immediately screws up is the characters. If you're gonna make a film about emojis, at least you have the chance to make every character feel in some way different because they already have a clearly different expression, but unsurprisingly the writing is s*it, kinda like the s*it emoji in the film, voiced by Patrick Stewart, who probably has the worst and most obvious jokes in the film. For example he yells "We're number two!" with his son s*it while they're walking out of a bathroom. Also, it doesn't really make sense that all of the face emojis act like their expression, but then an emoji like Hi-5 can express any emotion he wants. Why??? But anyway, they try to get to this hacking center place and the whole film is just them going through different phone apps like Spotify, Just Dance, Dropbox, Instagram and at one point they literally fly the Twitter bird. And my god do they take every single chance they get to show these apps to our faces and literally yell at us to download them, especially Just Dance. The film tries to show a world where these young people can't live without social media and at the same time yells at us to be the same. Seriously? Although this isn't the only message they're trying to get across. They also have Jailbreak randomly say things like "Women are always coming up with stuff men take credit for." and "I'm not a princess waiting for my prince." Yes we get it, women are equal to men, but why would you say things that make it look like you're trying to bash men? How is that useful in any way that your dialogue makes it feel like women are better than men but then you say that women are just as good? It simply doesn't make any sense. And not only that, but why would you write this generic feminist message when you could write a message saying that EVERYONE is just as good, regardless of who they are and what gender. The dialogue overall is just the kind you would expect from The Emoji Movie. Here are a few lines: "I was wrong Gene, I should've believed in you all along.", "Don't be afraid to express yourself!", "#truth!" and "I like that you're one of those guys who can express his feelings." By the way, that last one is said by the girl that Alex, the owner of the phone, has a crush on because she was so goddamn impressed by this super emoji that Alex sent her. Yes. The film was surprisingly well paced which made it go by fast and it was also only 86 minutes long. But it still doesn't change how bad it was. Also, the Alex character tried to confess his love to the girl with Rihanna lyrics. Also also, the soundtrack sounds like it's from Simcity. I can't be the only who thinks that. Also also also, there are continuity errors. Like at the end Hi-5 is shouting his name and the words aren't syncing with his lips at all. And when the characters jump to Just Dance the movie f*cks up completely how physics work. And how was Alex able to take the phone to tech support if the phone had Jailbreak? Doesn't that void the warranty?

You can do better than this, ****. This film does a couple needed things and f*cks them up immediately. For example Jack Sparrow is more of a supporting character this time like in the first movie which is a good call. The problem is that he's a dumbass in this film. Not only is Johnny Depp's portrayal of him pretty much a parody of a parody in this movie, but the character is just a drunken ****. He's no more interesting or charismatic, he's just a random comedic relief for the most part with terrible forced comedy. Although he still looks cool. The makeup, the clothes and the hair are always going to look good on him. Most of the characters here are pretty bland. The main actors Kaya Scodelario and Brenton Thwaites give alright performances, but unfortunately they don't have that much chemistry together and their motivations aren't that interesting. I never really felt invested in their characters or the story. The only truly interesting character in the film is the antagonist Armando Salazar, portrayed by Javier Bardem. He was excellent except when the film forced some stupid humor on his dialogue. Speaking of the humor, it's ****. The humor ruins everything. It's just randomly forced in to the scenes for no reason. In the other films, especially the first one, the humor blended well in to the events of the scene and a lot of times the actors were able to make a scene funny even without it being the main point. But in this film all these lame unfunny things are just forced in to the scene in the most awkward way possible where they're literally rubbing it to your goddamn face and screaming "LAUGH YOU F*CKING C*NT". It's so bad that it just ruins any investment that you might've had for the scene earlier. It's a shame really. There's definitely potential for this to be good. The antagonist is good, the main characters Henry Turner and Carina Smyth are decent and the movie looks really nice and has some alright action. But it's all absolutely ruined by the lack of an interesting story that's worth to tell and the tosh cum humor that's forced in so obviously that I was just angry with it instead of, you know, f*cking laughing like humor is supposed to have you do.

The music's good, but this movie can take a long walk off a short ****. This film gets it immediately wrong. It starts with Tupac being interviewed in jail and it's done in a documentary kind of way with flashbacks and all, and it doesn't work. It feels so unnatural. The film basically jumps to different times constantly, and I had no idea when was when and what was happening. The first 90 minutes almost feel like going between four to five different scenes over and over again. It lacks creativity and every scene feels exactly the same with characters just delivering terrible expository dialogue. It's boring, annoying, all the dialogue sounds the exact same and the random jumping between different times and characters literally gives me no chance to even try to care about anyone else than Tupac. Sure, it's a film about Tupac but this back and forth running between random terribly acted characters gives me a f*cking migraine. The film feels cheaply and negligently made. The colors are ugly, the directing is bland, the editing is ass and so many scenes are just done in the exact same spot that it feels like they just couldn't afford or bother to shoot somewhere else. So many times I was watching a scene and just thinking if anyone seriously even bothered with this ****. Tupac's audition scene to Digital Underground was probably the most slapdash made "scene" of the whole film. Also Snoop Dogg's portrayal was very forced in. He had little to no screen time which all of was very pointless, and his dubbing was so unnecessary and low effort. I think the guy can talk himself too. But the weirdest thing about the film is that in a movie about a musician there are barely any music scenes. Seriously, this bollocks has only like two or three of those. The ones that are there are ok. The music is of course good and the scenes have some nice camera movement between stage and the crowd and Demetrius Shipp Jr. is very believable, but why on earth are there so few of them? Was the movie so goddamn busy to get back to the terrible exposition tosh? In this 2 hour and 20 minute movie. I do not f*cking know but this is bollocks. The film does succeed though in making Tupac seem like someone who simply wanted his message out to the world in his music and it's respectable. That's all!

Consistent inconsistency. Iron Man 3 starts out alright with a fun scene of Tony Stark trying his new version of the suit. It's entertaining and laid back, but then this film decides to go for a darker tone and it does not work. At all. The main villain is boring and terribly acted and for some reason this other bad guy also gets a surprising amount of screen time, and he was even more atrocious. Those characters had absolutely nothing. I did not care. There's the Mandarin guy who I liked, but he's barely in the film. This film is a weird mix of action that's sometimes fun and sometimes absolutely ridiculous and headache inducing, scenes of the Mandarin threatening people on TV or Tony Stark doing something actually kind of fun with this one kid character and later Iron Maning. But it's all very inconsistent. I never felt that invested in anything because the quality of the scenes was so unstable. Some scenes were fun and looked good, and some scenes especially in the end looked absolutely awful. The characters are also inconsistent. Tony Stark is cool, Jarvis is funny and War Machine was alright. But then there's Pepper who's just a bait for the whole movie and the kid character Harley who ends up being somewhat pointless even though he and Tony Stark together was fun to watch. And the villain, like mentioned earlier, was some serious drivel. This thing is so inconsistent. There's fun stuff every now and then but it's always followed by something stupid.

This fourth Pirates movie is a mess. This movie has things that I like a lot, but it's not a film that exists because someone absolutely had to tell a story. It exists simply because there had to be more Pirates of the Caribbean movies. But like I said, there are things that I like. Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz were very enjoyable to watch together. They had some fun dialogue and the scenes overall had a charming feel to them. The soundtrack continues to be excellent and was used pretty nicely. At the start of the movie we get this fun scene of Sparrow talking with King George II portrayed by Richard Griffiths which escalates to this cool set piece in an 18th century London. During the first act I was honestly thinking that this movie is proving to be pretty entertaining! But that brings me to the story. These characters need to get to a thing called the Fountain of Youth, and that's it. After they realize where they need to go and before they get there, there's a ton of filler in the middle. Some of it is fine for what it is, but at points this movie literally doesn't even know who the main character is anymore. It sets up new characters all the time that do nothing. There's a guy who falls in love with a mermaid, and they do nothing meaningful. There were so many random side characters with terrible acting getting way too much screen time and it honestly ended up being pretty distracting. We get more of Jack Sparrow, Penelope Cruz's character Angelica, Barbossa and Ian McShane's character Blackbeard during the third act. But there's a point where they just disappear for a while and we have to watch these random characters that the film has been trying to set up for all this time, and they do nothing because there's nothing to do. Not all of it is awful like I said. Some moments were fine for what they were, but I was still constantly questioning what the point of them is. The third act is a lot better. More of the actually interesting characters fighting in these nicely made action sequences and doing stuff that advances the little plot that the movie has. There are a couple of those "how convenient" moments where some of the characters act like complete dumbasses for the plot to happen, but I was still enjoying it quite a lot, again thanks to Johnny Depp's and Penelope Cruz's enjoyable performances. The characters do what they have to do and the director bookends the movie with a couple weirdly edited dialogue scenes between Jack Sparrow and Joshamee Gibbs. Overall this movie is in many ways an absolute mess, and definitely the worst Pirates of the Caribbean film. But I would still say that it's worth watching for the main cast.

Genuinely surprised that this is considered one of the bad Dreamworks films. The Road To El Dorado is not perfect, but it's charming. I thought the first 20 minutes were somewhat draggy and the backgrounds were kind of bland, but immediately when the main characters Miguel and Tulio actually get to El Dorado, the movie picks up a lot. The environment becomes colorful and beautifully detailed, the soundtrack is awesome and I was genuinely interested in everything. Though to be honest, the story is kind of bad. Once the characters get to El Dorado, the goal they set pretty much breaks the feeling of progressive plot movement because the characters basically just tell how this movie is going to end. Almost everything that actually happens in the El Dorado place feels like filler. It's not bad filler, it's very entertaining and charming to look at, but it's nonetheless filler. The only thing that has effect in anything is when the movie establishes the villain, who by the way was pretty useless in the end. And eventually when the third act kicks in, the movie isn't really even trying to build tension, and instead just rushes the ending and then just f*cks off. It really left me scratching my head and ass like "that's it?" None of this means that the movie is awful though. I really did enjoy it even though it has some flaws. The animation was very good, even though a bit weird from time to time. Especially in the last ten minutes where there was a weird blend of CGI and traditional that didn't go well together, but overall not a big problem. The characters were pretty nice, except the horse that was just pointless and ****, and the villain that couldn't do anything. And the songs were really catchy. Almost everything has enough redeeming qualities to outweigh the flaws, even though there clearly are some.

It's not that bad actually. I thought Sinbad had a lot of charming moments in it. The movie immediately sets up the villain and shows us the main character's motivation at the start. It never felt like it was dragging and nothing really felt pointless, aside from one point in the film that involves a huge bird that was still pretty fun thanks to the good animation. I thought the characters were likable even though not that much developed, and the dialogue was alright too. It's not really that memorable of a film though. The villain, while well designed, had very little screen time and the movie felt very short in the end, but it's in no way a bad movie. If it's on Netflix or comes on the TV, it's definitely worth a watch. Not great, but good success!

What a fun mess. This movie or more like a two hour music video starts immediately in the middle of a battle with huge elephants and loud music playing in the background. It's chaotic and expensive looking and admittedly kind of exciting. After this we get some weird dialogue with music still playing in the background because at the same time the movie keeps cutting to a battle. Ten minutes in we see Arthur for the first time and the movie becomes extremely fast-paced and it felt like the movie was constantly skipping over some important character moments so it could get back to the stylistic action. I guess Guy Ritchie just wanted to make a cool looking movie without really caring about character development, because I seriously didn't care about anyone in this film. The film just feels like a bunch of weirdly edited montages with music playing loudly in the background. Sometimes so loudly that I couldn't hear any of the dialogue even when the characters were yelling. Almost everything is done in slow motion and a lot of the camerawork was very over the top. King Arthur of course has to have perfect hair even after waking up or having mud all over him, but I didn't really even mind because the movie just kind of begs you to roll with it. There were a couple moments that had some actual tension with the characters and fun dialogue, but they're over pretty quickly and the movie gets back to the action. Overall King Arthur Legend Of The Sword is a very over the top film that doesn't really care to give actual characters to care about, just very entertaining action. Some of the acting is pretty bad and Jude Law isn't given enough to do, but I'd recommend this movie as some late night entertainment.

This "movie" is just complete **** drivel. The reason I say "movie" like that is because this is not a movie. It just isn't. Fifty Shades Of Grey is two hours of endless awkward BDSM that lacks chemistry or any kind of passion. I thought it would never end. Anastasia Steele has to interview Christian Grey because Anastasia's roommate has a cold for five minutes. The first 15-20 minutes are basically just this generic character meets character stuff and when I was supposed to feel some sexual tension between Steele and Grey, I was actually just waiting for the scene to end lol. The rest of this "movie" is either that awful awkward BDSM stuff or some even more awful melodrama between Grey, Steele and sometimes Steele's friends and family because every now and then some other characters need to appear on scene to tell something that doesn't even matter in the end. It's honestly just absolute tosh. At one point Grey literally says "I'd be pleased to discover that you're naked underneath" when he's talking about taking Steele's dress off. The dialogue is absolutely terrible, the directing is bland, the acting and casting is just absolute red anus. Am I seriously supposed to believe that a character portrayed by Dakota Johnson is this awkward, quiet and low confident woman who desperately needs a man to be able to live? Or at least that's her character for the first 30 minutes. After that she just randomly starts talking a lot more and eventually does all this BDSM stuff with Grey. Steele is not the only character in the movie though to just randomly change. Early in the movie Grey takes Steele to a hotel and tells her that he slept next to her, and then later refuses to sleep in the same bed with her because he apparently doesn't do stuff like that. Later in the movie we get two almost identical scenes of Steele and Grey flying while some popular song is playing in the background. These scenes have almost no meaning to anything, other than appealing to fans of that music genre I guess. Overall there's pretty much nothing for anyone here. I'm sure people can find a lot of BDSM elsewhere that isn't scattered throughout a two hour movie if they want to see it so bad. I guess there was a nice slow remake of a Beyonce song, and the colors in the movie looked alright. That is all!

The Shape Of Water is a very good film. Sally Hawkins gives probably my favorite performance of 2017 here. She's perfect. Especially in a scene where her character Elisa, who by the way is mute, talks in sign language very aggressively to Richard Jenkins. The acting was fantastic. And the movie is just as original as Pan's Labyrinth. Gorgeous, especially the underwater scenes that were simply beautiful. Creative and surprisingly romantic. The whole first act when we see Elisa and the creature together is so good. It's interesting, sweet, charming and has a very fitting soundtrack. That said though, there are some problems. Even though the villain is a lot better than many, there are a lot of scenes of him just talking with some other characters about how dangerous the creature is and what to do to it. This is essential to know once, not 20 times. Those scenes broke the immersion a lot and I was mostly just hoping for the movie to go back to Elisa and the creature. There was also a big feeling of deja-vu quite often when it comes to the characters in this movie and Pan's Labyrinth. It's not a problem in itself, but a couple things were pretty predictable because of it. The final act is excellent though. We get more of Elisa and the creature, more of the villain actually doing instead of telling and a very good ending. All around a very good film, although there's a scene where a cat dies. Sorry Guillermo, but one point taken off for that.

I think Thor would be a seriously great movie if it took place only in the realm of Asgard. I immediately loved that place. It was colorful, interesting and looked so cool when Thor and his friends were riding with their horses on the big glassy looking bridge. Unfortunately the movie decides to focus mostly on earth where Thor doesn't have his hammer nor any of his other godly capabilities. Instead he has this romance thing with Natalie Portman that just felt very tossed in. The movie does play around with the idea of an arrogant god going on earth and it was fun for what it was, but I never really cared about the other characters on earth that much in the end and I wanted to see more of Asgard. The movie stays interesting enough because the last 20 minutes have a lot more action and that colorful Asgard, but there's still a feeling of a wasted opportunity.

All the Robert Downey Jr stuff is fantastic and funny just like in the first movie, but Iron Man 2 never really feels like it gets going. There's too much talking between the Iron Man stuff, and while it might be essential for the plot or the characters, it's not done in a very interesting way. And not all the dialogue scenes are even for the plot either, some of them are just shoved in scenes of Samuel L. Jackson trying to recruit Iron Man because of The Avengers movie. Also the villain, who by the way is just staring at a wall when we first see him, wasn't that interesting nor even menacing. It feels bad to say all this because Robert Downey Jr is truly amazing and funny in the lead role, but all this exposition and planning really weigh down the film.

And when he's not hulking, which he mostly isn't, the movie is either uninteresting exposition or a romance between Bruce and Arwen from The Lord of the Rings, who by the way sounds like she's having breathing problems every time she talks. The special effects also aren't that great and I had a hard time caring about any of the characters in the end. I saw The Disaster Artist in an early screening on 25th of November. The screening was packed with people who had all seen The Room, and everyone applauded during the end credits. The Disaster Artist is an excellent adaptation of the book. It's filled with great performances, especially James Franco as Tommy Wiseau who was just hysterical at points, and Dave Franco who was also really good as Greg Sestero and unsurprisingly he and James Franco had great chemistry together. Also the directing - while not mind-blowing - was pretty good too, there was a lot of going on in every scene which made it interesting to watch and especially one scene at the movie set which was a long one shot of just yelling and arguing that was just hilarious. The movie also never actually laughed at Tommy Wiseau, it was actually really sad to see him sad in a couple of scenes, it was handled brilliantly. Although the film never really developed any other characters than Wiseau and Sestero, it was still pretty fantastic. I strongly recommend it to everyone and especially fans of The Room.

At World's End isn't exactly a simple movie, as it is almost three hours long and confusing as hell at some points, but there is still a lot of that thrilling action, humor and it looks gorgeous. For people who like pirates this is definitely an enjoyable movie, but it can be very complex and overlong for others.

There's pretty much nothing different from the animated one, but as a movie that tries to be a live action remake of Beauty and the Beast, it really is. I had a blast watching this movie! Such a good looking remake that nailed the songs and the story was clearly there and the characters worked just as well as in the original. And all these amazing actors like Emma Watson, Luke Evans, Dan Stevens and Josh Gad did a wonderful job! Easily recommended.

Jack Sparrow is such a cool character, that it's impossible to resist his charm. Dead Man's Chest has everything a pirate fan would want from a sequel to an excellent pirate movie. High production seafights, comedy and a really cool and interesting villain. But there is a lot of exposition this time and the movie is overlong, but other than that this is definitely the sequel people wanted.

It has an easy to keep up with plot, and also nice characters. I enjoyed the French vibe in the characters, and the songs were cool too. I would've enjoyed a bit more backstory for the side characters in the castle, but overall Beauty and the Beast is an enjoyable well animated movie for all ages.

John Wick Chapter 2 surprised me a LOT! The action was probably the most epic and well shot action I've seen in years, and Keanu Reeves was just so charismatic and interesting, and all the characters had clear motivations. The movie combined epicness and humor perfectly during the action scenes, and the storytelling was handled well too, although there is a lot of exposition at some point during the movie. But overall I really recommend John Wick Chapter 2, it deserves all the support.

Keanu Reeves was a badass, and I liked Alfie Allen too, but I didn't really feel that immersed to the movie. While the action was fun and exciting, there wasn't much else that kept the movie interesting. It's not bad in any way, but it's a bit forgettable.

This time it's actually a good thing to say that a movie is a lot like its predecessor. I thought that The Lego Movie was excellent, and I thought that this movie was excellent too! The animation is gorgeous and colorful, the movie is filled with jokes that really hit most of the time and the action is amazing, and Batman works pretty much perfectly as a Lego character.

It's not exactly a cheerful movie, but because of the good performances and the emotional story, it's definitely worth watching. I really felt for Hassan and Amir, and the movie always stayed interesting.

Stephen Lang was so good. He was the best part of the movie easily. The movie had this very unpredictable feeling and there was tension all the time. I also liked the constant stampede feeling when the main characters just struggled to come up with a plan to escape the house. And although the twist at the end of the movie was pretty weird, actually very weird, I would still easily recommend Don't Breathe if you want to get your adrenaline flowing!

So much fun to watch. The cleverly written dialogue and the well build characters made me wanna know every little detail there is, and I'm hoping for a sequel so much! Disney is still nailing it.

An amazing film with great performances, great direction and a great finale. Watching J.K Simmons shouting at Miles Teller and then seeing Miles Teller rise up is the most tension filled combination of 2014.
