Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred offers the best campaign of the Age of Hatred. The story is packed with twists and turns and charismatic characters, and Lilith is finally given the screen time and character development she deserved. The two new classes, the classic Paladin and the brand-new Warlock, are notable additions, although there will be some balancing issues to iron out. The map expands further, and the Skovos archipelago offers us a brand-new Hellenic landscape. The Horadric Cube also returns, and the Warplanes finally allow us to avoid getting lost amongst the myriad endgame activities. Lord of Hatred is a truly successful expansion, but one that highlights once again how Diablo IV’s flaws stem directly from its base version. Blizzard has listened to the community, and what it is implementing is a genuine process of rebuilding its iconic hack “n” slash game.
Lord of Hatred might be the best Diablo expansion ever released, and it certainly positions Diablo IV in the best place it has ever been. Whether you are an old Diablo player who skipped IV entirely, someone who bounced off at launch, or a completely new player to the series, Lord of Hatred offers the perfect time to enter hell and take on what Diablo IV has to offer.

Now this is a good expansion that have a lot of improvements compared to the previous expansion which was a disappointment. I would give it a 9 or 10 but right now there are still have some bugs.

I can't even play this. I spent the first 30 minutes playing for like 2 minutes and watching 28 minutes of cutscenes and walking around towns talking to people. I don't even want to play this anymore its just terrible. There is a way to make a campaign where you still get to play the game, it doesn't have to be 90% storytelling, make it like 25% storytelling, so I actually get to play, instead of just screaming at the screen because I can't believe the "quest" I am on is to just walk around a town and talk to someone who just leads to some other area where you have to walk around and talk to someone.

Lord of Hatred follows in the footsteps of Vessel of Hatred, further expanding the Diablo 4 formula with, overall, flying colors. The campaign, though rather short, is probably the best in the whole game, set in a new region with consistently beautiful art direction and a finale that is impactful in many ways. Gameplay-wise, there are two excellent new classes, as well as an interesting overhaul of the other classes' skill trees, coupled with plethora of new features in the loot system to pleasantly spice up the experience, including the Talisman and the Horadric Cube. The endgame additions are perhaps the most modest of the bunch, but serve to further solidify a foundation that is now much stronger than at launch. However, the 40€ price tag might deter casual players who are only interested in the story. The most dedicated heroes of Sanctuary should however have their fill while waiting to see what Blizzard has in store for the next chapter of its legendary hack’n slash franchise.

D4 Vessel of Hatred – World-class ARPG for those seeking smooth, relaxing gameplay. Audio & Visuals: The soundtrack in this expansion is world-class. Combined with an unmatched visual consistency and technical fluidity, the presentation is simply peerless. System Overhauls: The changes to various systems feel like a massive breath of fresh air and give me a great reason to dive back in. Having played every season so far, I’m genuinely happy with the direction of these updates. Quality of Life: Many changes are truly for the better—even small details, like being able to hire mercenaries in town or having the blacksmith right next to the portal, make a huge difference. Animations: The new character animations are top-tier. They feel fresh and new while remaining perfectly consistent with the established aesthetic of the other classes. The Journey vs. The Grind: I haven't reached the endgame yet, so I expect the journey will be significantly longer this time. That said, it might still get repetitive as quickly as previous seasons. The difference is that I likely won't progress as "far" as before, probably ending my season at the same 2-week mark. Personally, I get the most joy from building a character from scratch up to Torment 2; after that, the grind loses some of its satisfaction. Story: The plot feels a bit juvenile at times, but there were moments where I was actually curious to see what happens next—something that has never happened to me in any previous edition of the game. Summary: This game is pure pleasure. As a loyal fan, I’m thrilled that the developers have offered so much high-quality content in this expansion.

Seems alright so far. Just beat the campaign. Nothing too surprising or interesting really. Kinda just found myself zoning out half the time with the amount of dialogue scenes. Lag spikes even on a 5080 entering certain areas. Really thought they'd fix this by now. Seems they are more interested in adding more 67% off bundles in the shop then making a meaningful story.

le jeux est sublime graphiquement, mais pourquoi tant de complications et de loudeurs dans la forge, les arbres de compétences et autres, c'est un hack and slash, le but c'est qu'il soit nerveux et addictif, pas lourd et lent, il s'éloigne trop de Diablo 3, le meilleur jeux addictif. Blizzard devrait se demander pourquoi tant de personnes jouent encore à D3. (sans parler du côté MMO sans aucun interet)

A Rebellion Against Greedy Gaming Policies I am an old-school gamer who grew up with Diablo 1 and Diablo 2, spending countless sleepless nights in that dark, unique atmosphere. Back then, we used to buy a game and get a complete, finished experience; we respected the developers and the effort put into it. However, at the point we have reached today, I am truly sick and tired of the gaming industry (especially our beloved, long-standing franchises) treating players as nothing more than 'cash cows'.Today, we pay massive amounts of money for a base game and supposedly get the 'full version.' But the game isn't actually finished; half-baked stories and stripped-down features are sold back to us months later under the name of 'DLC' at exorbitant prices. We, as gamers, are not against high-quality expansion packs. In the past, when something was called an 'Expansion,' it added a brand-new vision and massive new content to the game; it was worth the money we paid. Now, pieces deliberately torn out of the core game are being sold back to us in fancy **** want a fairer DLC system! We do not accept monetization models where core content that should be in the base game is locked behind a paywall later. In a world where even some free-to-play games that only sell cosmetics have proven for years that this can be done fairly without exploiting the player, there is absolutely no excuse for the greed of these giant corporations.I am calling out to the gaming companies: Stop abusing our loyalty. You are destroying the legacy of old legends with your endless greed for money. Make a high-quality, fair, and complete game, and we will always give it the support it deserves. But if you continue to see us merely as walking wallets, you will completely lose that core fan base you rely on so much.

Sluggish gameplay, gear is impossible to get which you need to salvage just to put affixes on other gear or make gem slots. They slowed it down so much and gear drops are complete garbage that I already have diablo fatigue and its only a few days in. Nothing is explained, sigils are supposedly part of a set but there is nothing that tells you that. Now you have to jump through a ton of hoops just to get a cache that has nothing in it thats useful. They made the game a ton more work for ZERO PAYOFF, its arduous and unfulfilling and I am normally a player who plays every single toon each season. I doubt I will even last long enough to gear up this toon (Warlock) as I just get frustrated and walk away after zero improvement due to zero gear. YOU CAN TELL THE DEVS DO NOT PLAY THE GAME AND THAT THEY DIDNT PLAY PRIOR TO RELEASE. Also, whats up with female characters getting more masculine and the male characters more feminine, both choices are horrible.
