Streep once again unnecessarily proves she’s the best in the business with her performance, delivering more in a single quiet line delivery than most actors can achieve.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is one of those nice surprises, a so-called legacy sequel made with love and executed with flair. Think Top Gun: Maverick with better hats.

The funnest sequel of 2026. "The Devil Wears Prada 2" seems to be in a situation where a sequel is better than the predecessor & look at the Rotten Tomatoes score - 2% higher. What makes a sequel like this so good? Have a more different storyline, especially from what I saw in the trailer. Keeping the characters consistent & quirky, which was what "Ralph Breaks the Internet" failed to do. Also, it is a story of mystery & problem solving having plot twists within, no wonder "Murder, She Boat" has been my favourite Simpsons episode & there is a Simpsons reference in the movie! Pretty much like it's predecessor, it is engaging through iconic lines & adventure. I loved the characterizations is this. Benji had an amount of potential, as an antagonist. Next, we have more depth in character - Miranda has turned into a more softer person & Emily is sympathetic in the end, given a job. I do not want to focus on the plot this time in a review. Have fun & catch Lady Gaga!

Like the first movie, the second is a sleek diversion with brittle and sharp laughs, truckloads of couture threads and lashings of light drama.

Still a fantasy, though a less mealymouthed one than The Devil Wears Prada, this follow-up to the 2006 Meryl Streep-Anne Hathaway buddy fashion comedy nods to the real world in interesting ways—fast fashion, corporate restructuring, the implosion of journalism—while still remaining charmingly light on its Gucci-clad feet.

Maybe this frivolous little movie reflects our own world back to us in more ways than we might wish to admit.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is harmless enough, although it exists more as an afterthought than a legitimate continuation of a story that was fully told twenty years ago after the first 105 minutes.

The first Devil Wears Prada was certainly an artifact of the 2000s and this sequel is too, in that it's a soul-less nostalgia grab with some interesting opinions it doesn't really want to dive into.

It's hard to make a sequel to an iconic movie. I think they did a terrific job! Great acting, storyline, and had all the ingredients to make a great movie.

What a disappointing sequel. It was a dumpster fire at the beginning, but at least it ended alright.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 successfully brings back the charm and elegance that made the original film so popular, largely thanks to the charisma of its cast and its glamorous fashion-world setting. However, the sequel struggles to justify its existence with a truly memorable story. While some moments are entertaining and nostalgic, the plot follows fairly predictable paths and lacks the impact of the original movie. Although it provides enjoyable entertainment and a few well-executed scenes, it doesn't add much to the characters or the franchise's universe. A decent follow-up that will satisfy longtime fans, but is unlikely to win over many new viewers.

I really don’t like it. Everything is solved by “I have more money than you”. Story is not clever this time around and hard to follow. I am still not sure why is Lady Gaga is in this movie. Unnecessary music.
