The stylish and engrossing reinterpretation of the mythological king's early years lacks character development, but makes up for it with swashbuckling, sword-fighting, beast-slaying fun.

Ritchie’s film is at all times over the top, crashing around its digital landscapes in all manner of beserkness, sometimes whooshing along, sometimes stuck in the odd narrative doldrum. But it is often surprisingly entertaining, and whatever clunkers he has delivered in the past, Ritchie again shows that a film-maker of his craft and energy commands attention.

It’s not a 10, but it’s not a 4, either. I’d give it a solid 8. It’s funny how much of a juxtaposition exists between critics and users. It’s similar in video games, too. The movie is a gimmicky modern adaptation to the Legend Of King Arthur. There’s a ton of anachronism in the movie yet, it somehow works well. If you blended Snatch with King Arthur, you’d get this **** cast is great, CGI is great, acting is solid, sound effects are top notch. The score may not be for everyone and it probably doesn’t fit but I still loved it. If you’re sick of seeing a bunch of fantasy movies where the male lead is a bumbling idiot who needs the stoic girl boss to toughen him up, this movie is for you.

I love this movie, the first time I saw movie and my hands were wet + my favorite actor in the main role who played brilliantly, it's just a pity he wasn't with "The Magician Woman" at the end There should definitely be further parts! DEFINITELY THERE IS NO NEED TO BE CONSIDERED BY ANY CRITICS IF PEOPLE DEFINITELY LIKE IT AND IT IS ONE OF THE BEST SUSPENSE FILMS IN HISTORY

Arthur and Vortigern mix it up amid a lot of shenanigans, detours and filler, some bad, some good and all of it disposable.

From one moment to the next, it's possible to on some level enjoy the shaking up of tired conventions in a swordplay fantasy such as this and then to be dismayed by the lowbrow vulgarity of what's ended up onscreen. The film gives with one hand and takes away with the other, which can be frustrating in what's meant to be an entertainment.

Although it flickers to life at times, King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword devolves into a jumbled affair, weighed down by confusing supernatural elements and a lazy reliance on visual effects.

King Arthur has a vulnerable heart beating somewhere under all the grimy, sweaty muscles lovingly displayed for the camera. It’s just buried too often under narrative chaos, and the inexplicable ideal that if a story runs at double speed and triple energy, the gaping holes in the story will outpace anyone’s notice.

For all the attempts to update King Arthur to be cool and sexy, neither the character nor the film around him musters any spark.

Thoroughly enjoyable movie if you like this genre. Special effects are well done and cast is good.

The stage of King Arthur's popularity has already passed, and all the films are based on the stories of knights and Merlin, who created all this in the past. Guy Richie, stick to your style - this is my advice to you.

La trama está bien y las escenas de acción son entretenidas; es una buena película para pasar un rato de entretenimiento y nada más.

This is a perfect example of how trailers can manage to create a better film than the actual movie itself. This film had a lot of promise but just fell completely flat after the kind of interesting battle sequence at the start, but with giant eephants in a battle it is obviously going to be entertainig, albeit plagiarised from Lord of the rings. From then on the story was as dry and monotone as the acting that focused more on being charming than immersive. This is too cheap a movie to be loved and too bad a script to be considered as worthy of anybodies money.
