Ryan Coogler is now two for two, first with Fruitvale Station and now with Creed, the best Rocky sequel yet. Creed in many ways is like the original Rocky, it’s a drama about the characters and boxing happens to be apart of it. At it’s core, it’s a story about a young man who’s had nothing in life, no father, no home and it’s his battle with himself to make a name for himself. It’s a deeply moving and inspirational movie with excellent acting performances and some of the best boxing scenes I’ve ever seen put to film.

I didn't grow up on Peanuts, this is the first time I've been introduced to these characters and I was underwhelmed. It was a cute movie, the characters are fun, there were some good laughs and Snoopy was awesome. However, the movie itself isn't that memorable, it got extremely repetitive after the first half and it seemed to go on and on and on. Not a bad movie, just forgettable.

I'm not going to bother making a video review for ‪Paul Blart‬ Mall Cop 2. This movie is terrible. It suffers from the curse of comedy sequels which are being significantly worse than it's procedure. The acting is terrible, it has no flow to the story. It has cheap laughs (that admittedly made me laugh a few times) but for the most is unfunny to the bone.

Where to even begin? It's ridiculous, convoluted and just plain stupid. The action is nearly impossible to follow, I actually got a headache trying to watch this movie, it's one of the worst edited movies I've ever seen. I'll in fact say this: It's one of the worst movies of the year and t's one of the worst action movies I've ever seen. I say give Michael Fassbender the golden statue today because I can't see any actor (other than maybe DiCaprio) giving a better performance than him in Steve Jobs. The supporting cast are all great, Kate Winslet in particular and I loved the way Danny Boyle filmed the movie. The dialogue is sharp and quick, does it get a bit repetitive a couple of times? Yes. But it's a fascinating look at the genius that was Steve Jobs.

We currently live in the golden age of comic book movies. With such movies like Nolan's Batman Trilogy or The Avengers, you would think they could pull this off. I was sorely wrong. This movie ****. I hated watching every single second of this movie, there is no redeeming aspect to this film. The characters are one dimensional, the actors don't seem to care, terrible script, awful special effects, the pacing is nonexistent and Fant4stic has one of the worst third acts I have ever seen in a movie in my entire life. However, this movie is so well directed and written it over comes the cliches. While not an easy film to watch, it's 100% worth your time, the boxing scenes are handled excellently and the characters are all realized. No. It's nothing more than a big dumb action movie. Arnold is at his best in years and JK Simmons does get a few good moments but the rest of the cast don't ever get a moment to shine and it overall comes off as a Terminator wannabe. However the movie is too sentimental for it's own good, it's too long and gives the most anticlimactic ending to any movie I've seen so far this year.
