Jurassic World is pure, dumb, wall-to-wall fun. When they hand you your 3-D glasses, you can check your brain at the door and pick it up on your way out.

A terrifically enjoyable and exciting summer spectacular: savvy, funny, ridiculous in just the right way, with some smart imaginative twists.

This movie is awesome. I have been a Jurassic world super fan ever since like preschool and this is one of the best in the franchise. Just love the plot, the action, and especially the final battle. Awesome movie.

Despite the failure of Jurassic Park 3, Spielberg remained eager to produce a fourth film, though the deaths of Stan Winston and Michael Crichton delayed the project for nearly fifteen years. When it finally emerged, Jurassic World managed to stand out: it delivered the long-awaited vision of a fully operating park while still bringing fresh ideas. The casting works—Chris Pratt proves an effective last-minute choice, and Omar Sy is a welcome presence. Flaws aside (yes, even the infamous high heels), the film is both thrilling and surprising, and with hindsight, it arguably comes close to surpassing the original.

Trevorrow seems to be genuinely enjoying what he's doing, and it's that sense of someone having fun behind the camera that ultimately won me over.

Jurassic World, a goofy and fitfully entertaining summer movie, understands and even winks at its place in the pecking order of blockbuster sequels.

For much of its running time, Jurassic World plays like a great theme park ride. In an age of blockbusters that lumber like herbivores, it’s refreshing to see a movie as lean and mean as a velociraptor.

Every third person on the planet will go to see this movie, and they will find exactly what they seek, nothing more but certainly nothing less. It's that nothing more part that ultimately disappoints.

Mr. Pratt’s charm is no match for the crude filmmaking or the stupid plot that keeps him running around in a constant state of artificial animation.

Una obra maestra casi perfecta, de las mejores películas hechas nunca, es magnífica

I really didn’t like the first hour. It didn’t feel natural. It felt staged, rehearsed. I also noticed so many technical issues like the helicopter rotor blades stopping spinning instantly and the chroma keying looking a bit sloppy. I was impressed with the amount of rotorscope work they did on the petting zoo shot. I didn’t like the casting of the children. The final 45 minutes though was entertaining, really good actually, just a shame that the first hour is annoying.

Of all the movies in this saga, this one ranks fifth for me, after Jurassic Park, The Lost World, JP III, and Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025). This movie was the one that started the catastrophe that all fans complain about nowadays, and that’s why Rebirth had to create an entirely new story after the first three Jurassic World films. When I saw this movie in 2015, I left the theater happy only because of the nostalgia, since I hadn’t gone to see anything from my favorite saga in theaters since 2001. But this movie has aged poorly; I can’t watch it religiously like the first three films or even the new Rebirth by Edwards. I don’t give it my approval, because this movie was the one that started all the problems we complain about today.

I do not recommend this movie. I personally consider the money and the time I spent on this movie wasted.

Jurassic World is worse for dinosaurs than extinction was. I'd rather watch all the Transformers movies back to back than watch this again. A complete disaster of soullessness.
