Fantastic Four

Perhaps surprisingly, it's no better or worse that the other superhero movies of 2015.

Neither the disaster the fanboy nation seems to be itching to attack nor a significant improvement over the Tim Story movies, Fantastic Four seems doomed to please no one.

The model here isn't adventure pulp. It's dystopian Y.A., junked up with scenes of medical horror too scary for kids and too unpleasant to be enjoyed by anyone.

There are no people to watch in Fantastic Four, only collections of character traits and attitudes brought fitfully to life by actors who might've mistakenly thought they were hitching a ride on the superhero movie gravy train by signing up for this misfire.

This is the Fantastic Four. Maybe someday they'll get to act like it.

In turning his back on the familiar tropes of blockbuster comic book movies, Trank doesn't have a clear new identity for Fantastic Four to distinguish itself with, and the result is a movie rich with possibilities, but trapped in the basic structure of a superhero movie, with no idea of how to wholly circumvent traditional expectations.

A lousy script, unfocused direction, incoherent editing, shockingly terrible special effects — and, probably, panicked studio executives — have left its four talented stars muddling through a dull superhero origin story with zero payoff.

While this version of Fantastic Four misses the mark in almost every way, with the teen team, exceptionally dark tone, and insane story. The unique take on it made me kind of like it. None of The Fantastic Four went by there know super hero names, except maybe at the end when Johnny called himself The Human Torch, and makes a joke about The Thing. Dr. Doom is ridiculously overpowered in this film. I am befuddled, but not sour.This is a Superhero movie, with the strangest take on extremely famous hero's I have ever seen.There really could have been more Action in this movie, but it was doing all it's work trying to create some new zany and somewhat dark origin story.I guess there is some Adventure here, if you consider going to another planet to try to exploit it as an adventure.This is filled with Sci-Fi themes because of it's insane **** in all, I didn't hate it. I just recommend going into it with a completely open mind if you want to enjoy it at all.

Fantastic Four. Seen and forgotten. The film starts out really well, but what happens next is quite strange. Victor Doom begins to create such that you sit and do not understand why and why. And because of this, the second half of the film flies by unnoticed.

Lo más curioso de esta película es que empieza muy bien, presenta guay a los personajes, hace que tengan química, pero después del accidente, es literalmente una catástrofe. Se lían demasiado, una acumulación de absurdeces, CGI pochísimo y decisiones mal tomadas todo el rato. Por lo visto tuvieron problemas entre director y productora, y se nota hasta la saciedad, demasiadas cosas fuera de plató. · Cosas buenas: el arranque, sinceramente es bastante prometedor, hace que tengan química entre los personajes y que mole bastante, una pena que luego arruinen todo. · Cosas malas: Doom es literalmente terrible, la madre que me parió, el guion es horrible, los diálogos más de lo mismo, el final, o en general la segunda mitad de la película es bastante mala, tiene un pésimo planteamiento y la resolución es demasiado rápida. · Conclusión: se puede digerir, pero es bastante flojera, si te quieres ver algo de los 4 Fantásticos, mírate las anteriores, que por lo menos son más decentillas.

If DC made a Marvel movie. It's not horrible but is far from good. Fundamentally, there are flaws. It fine to make changes to the characters if they are for the better, unique, interesting, or entertaining. Unfortunately, FF doesn't do that. The story plots along but it doesn't really know where it is going. Dr. Doom is a complete waste. Perhaps the most fundamental error is that it is boring. It's a popcorn flick that fails to be entertaining.
