Ficarra and Requa are good at creating a sense of momentum in their films that carries you along from scene to scene, and a film like this depends largely on chemistry. Smith and Robbie have bundles of it, so there is an easy pleasure to watching them circle each other.

Pretty good movie. Funny and suspenseful. Good chemistry between Will and Margot. There are lot of tense scenes, though the movie is best characterized as a romantic comedy.

It never loses the dazzling surface polish, but without trying to dig deeper, the movie strings us along in the hopes of something more, not unlike one of the cons at its center.

Focus never quite comes into clear view. It's a muddled and twisting romantic caper that at times feels like Steven Soderbergh lite.

This is maximum-gloss entertainment with its fair share of tricksy rug-pulls. But, like one of the neon-coloured cocktails Smith drinks in it, it’s more of an immediate rush than something you’ll remember in a year.

This ultra-slick, fantasy-inducing visit to an international wonder world of wealth and deception plays more like an inventory of thieving and gambling techniques than a captivating diversion, even if it's hard not to be voyeuristically pulled in by some of its ruses.

Will Smith may have run through every trick in his bag. In Focus, the one-time fresh prince and former box-office champ looks tired, bored and, even worse, uninspired.

I loved Focus!!!' This movie was very sophisticated, I laughed, I almost cried a few times, I said to my self no please don't do that so many times as well. Will Smith and Margot Robbie are the best couple on screen! If you like movies that make you think and put you on the edge of your seat Focus is the one for you! Oh and Margot Robbie is so hot and the best Young actress in Hollywood right now!

Focus is one of those films you put on when you want something light, fast and uncomplicated. It never becomes the sharp, clever con-artist thriller it tries to imitate, but it moves with enough style to keep you watching without checking your phone. In a genre that easily collapses halfway through, that’s already **** real draw is the duo at the center. Will Smith leans on his natural charm, and even when the script gets wobbly, he holds the scene together. Margot Robbie is the real surprise here: bright, funny and effortlessly magnetic. Their chemistry doesn’t fix the film, but it makes the ride smoother and much more **** plot wants to be twisty, sometimes too much. You can see some turns coming from a mile away, and others stretch credibility to the limit. Still, the movie isn’t pretending to be airtight; it plays more like glossy entertainment with quick dialogue and visual polish. It’s “surface-level” con-artist cinema: stylish, fun to watch, but never as smart as it thinks it **** the end, it sits right in the middle. Entertaining, lively, occasionally clever, but far from unforgettable. It’s the kind of movie that works once and doesn’t need a second viewing — and there’s nothing wrong with that when it delivers what it promises.

Focus is a slick and stylish heist movie with charismatic leads, Will Smith and Margot Robbie. The chemistry between the two is undeniable, and they effortlessly carry the film through its twists and turns. The fast-paced plot keeps you engaged, but the story might feel a bit predictable to seasoned heist movie fans. While some of the cons are clever and entertaining, others might seem far-fetched and rely heavily on coincidence. The movie's focus shifts between the heist and the romantic relationship between the leads, which can feel uneven at times.Overall, Focus is a visually appealing movie with decent performances, but it lacks the depth and originality to make it truly memorable. If you're looking for a lighthearted heist movie with attractive leads and don't mind a few plot holes, Focus is worth a watch. It's a fun popcorn flick that will keep you entertained, even if it doesn't leave a lasting impression.

"Focus" is definitely a step-up for Will Smith after his roles in the atrocities that were "Winter's Tale" and "After Earth", but just how big is that step? Sadly, it is only a very small increment. This movie falls into the kind of entertainment that you have to turn your brain off to enjoy, and where the absurdity of the plot is far funnier than the cheesy jokes written in the script.

This film is packed with huge plot holes, a bad story, a lot of pointless scenes that serve little or nothing to the plot, and useless plot twists that don't make any sense nor have any emotional value what so ever. This was a pretty mediocre film.
