The Last of Us Part II0
Jun 19, 2020
The Last of Us Part II has great gameplay but the story **** so it's worse than Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, Superman 64, ET Atari, and Ride to Hell Retribution. Now you excuse me while I go back to my cardboard box and play Kirby.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening10
Sep 21, 2019
It's so amazing. A perfect remake. It feels more inspired than every Kirby game since Return to Dream Land even though it's a remake. Okay, I'm sorry I keep roasting Kirby in these reviews, but it's not fair how every Kirby game has to be one giant nostalgia factory well Mario and Zelda still feel fresh.

Super Kirby Clash0
Sep 6, 2019
Instead of getting a big Kirby game that people care about, we get another butt average spinoff with nostalgia shoved down our throat. My cousins used to love Kirby. Then Mario drove them away and they haven't touched a Kirby game since. That's because Mario actually has interesting and memorable games that don't recycle the same crap we've seen for years. Smash Ultimate is the best Kirby game in over a decade.

Super Mario Maker 29
Jun 28, 2019
Mario Maker 2 probably deserves a ten. It offers so much content and things to do and play. The addition of a story mode is great and the 3D World skin gives the game more variety. However, the online is still disappointing, and you still have to search levels by IDS. You're also required to subscribe to it to share levels online. It's still a great game, but until Nintendo gets the online right, then I will give it a ten.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled9
Jun 21, 2019
Crash is not dead yet! This is a great racing game that almost lives up to the first one. The tracks are great, there are tons of characters, and great content. It's almost as good as Mario Kart even. The online is on par with Nintendo's though. It's a great game and it's better than almost all of Kirby's games.

Mario Party: The Top 1005
May 11, 2019
The Top 100 includes 100 minigames from the main Mario Party games before it. A strong idea on paper, but there's nothing to do outside of that! No story, no interesting boards, no online, no anything! Also, only 8 characters. Seriously Nintendo? Star Rush had 12. Sure, the Minigames are fun. We get fan-favorites like Bumper Balls, Pushy Penguins, Book Squirm, etc. But when you take in consideration the lack of other things to do in this game, you've pretty much got a game that just includes some minigames we've already played before in other (better IMO) games. The Top 100 is a rare dud from Nintendo.

Mortal Kombat 113
Apr 24, 2019
Mortal Kombat 11 is a good game, but I have never played it. It will probably get a good user score though, because it isn't on the Xbox One. The grinding and microtransactions and grinding are bad. I'd recommend it but the reviews are bad so i'll go along with it.

Kirby Battle Royale5
Apr 18, 2019
I referenced this game a few times before, so I decided to review it. As a fellow Kirby fan, I have to say that Kirby Battle Royale is a PAINFULLY mediocre experience. The game costs too much, has a limited selection of shallow minigames, has dreadful online, and little content. Besides Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, this is definitely the weakest Kirby game ever. The only redeeming aspect is the music. The main theme in particular is pretty catchy. No wonder it got into Smash Ultimate. The multiplayer is also okay.

Tetris 999
Apr 14, 2019
Tetris 99 costs $0! And you get to play the classic game of Tetris? What's not to love? Playing with 98 other people is a ton of fun, and works surprisingly well. If a player quits, no one else is effected! Getting a high score out of dozens of people is super satisfying. Some people might get bored of this game, but there are worse Battle Royale games (Fortnite, Kirby Battle Royale, etc).

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy8
Apr 9, 2019
I love the Ace Attorney series. Solving mysteries in a courtroom setting is a genius idea for a game in my opinion. The characters are charming and the stories are intriguing and keep me on the edge of my seat. The games really test my intelligence with the mysteries. They remind me of these books called Encyclopedia Brown where you have to figure out mysteries too. As much as I love this series, I can't defend the fact that this version is nearly identical to the 3DS version and other versions of the game. You have to pay full price too, which ****.

Yoshi's Crafted World8
Mar 29, 2019
Yoshi's Crafted World is easily one of the best Yoshi games in recent years. I've always had a bias against the Yoshi series because most of his games are incredibly sub par (New Island, Touch and Go, Topsy Turvy, Story, etc). The graphics are great and the levels are super well designed. There could have been more innovation though, and the game is admittedly easy. It is all around a fun, but kinda forgettable adventure. Yoshi's Island remains unbeaten.

Devil May Cry 59
Mar 13, 2019
Devil May Cry 5 has good intentions, but is ultimately pretty flawed. The main problem is the dialog. The 4 main characters spout cheesy and outright stupid dialog, and that, combined with the obnoxious dialog is not a good combination. In the first episode, Lulu the panda thinks she is a noodle and shouts "Lulu is a Noo-dolololol". In another episode, Bailey the elephant says "I like to touch ice cream". If you thought that was bad, in one episode, Lulu says "I like to touch Franny's soft fur". This is a little kid show and we get lines like that. The plots are also dumb. In one episode, Lulu can't find a place for her toy, Rafe. The episode is entirely them finding a place for Rafe, but in the end, Rafe just sleeps with Lulu in her bed. The animation is a mixed bag. The models are pleasing, but the mouths look awkward and the eyes look dead and zombie-like. There are also a lot of songs. They are catchy, and work for the show's demographic. I found myself humming to the tune of the Bubble Train song. But the songs are repeated in many episodes, and are roughly 2 minutes long. Each episode is about 13 minutes long. Overall, Word Par-Devil May Cry 5 struggles to rise above mediocre.

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn9
Mar 8, 2019
Finally! A good 3DS Kirby game. (Besides Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot). I'm sorry, but Kirby has gone downhill after Planet Robobot. We got the subpar E-shop titles. The mediocre spinoff Battle Royale. There was also Star Allies, which I complained about already for how bland, uninspired, easy, and forgettable I thought the game was. Sadly, the best Kirby game since 2017 is a port of a nearly decade old Wii game. If you were a fan of Epic Yarn, you're gonna love this as it adds "extra" content like a harder mode (great for people who complain about how easy the main game is).

Mega Man 118
Mar 5, 2019
A good game, but it is was too short. There's like what, 10 levels. The levels capture the spirit of the classic Mega Man games (and I've played all of them) well. The music is a mixed bag. Some songs sound awesome, others sound forgettable. Overall, a definite 8/10 game.

Red Dead Redemption 210
Mar 5, 2019
I love Red Dead Redemption 2, but I wish there was less time spent traveling between locations. I wish the game was faster paced as well. The game looks stunning though. It does a good job at capturing that West feeling. I probably would have given this game a 9, but I'm giving this a 10 to potentially raise it's 7.4 user score.

Mar 5, 2019
Sure, the fanbase is toxic, but I still love this game. The music is indie game awesomeness. A lot of people complain about the simple fighting style, but I actually love it. The platforming mixed with choices was really cool to me. The story is also emotional near the end. Call me a Undertalebwarb all you want, but I am giving this a ten.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate9
Mar 4, 2019
Probably the best fighting game ever. There is an insane amount of content, with every character from previous Smash games returning. Gameplay is awesome. Classic mode is the best in series, as each character has their own adventure. Graphics are stunning. Best soundtrack ever. It was close to a 10, but the poor online and missing modes drag this amazing game down to a 9.

A Hat in Time9
Mar 4, 2019
Overall, A Hat in Time is a great experience. The levels are fun, it has plenty of charming and memorable characters and you can solve a train mystery. What's not to love? Of course, the game isn't perfect, and it came at a bad time being released near Mario Odyssey, which spoiled the critics with it's greatness, but i'd still recommend this game to 3D platforming junkies. It's better than Yooka Laylee for sure.

Super Mario Party7
Mar 4, 2019
A decent but disappointing Mario Party game. The boards are meh, and there's only 4 of them. The game's items are also boring and it is too easy to get stars. The minigames are great though, and it does a better job at living up to the N64 Mario Party's than 10.

I was generally surprised with 3D World. I wasn't a big fan of 3D Land because of how bland it was, but 3D World ups the action with it's interesting levels, great soundtrack, and multiplayer. It's not as good as Odyssey or Galaxy, but it's still an amazing Mario game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe9
Mar 4, 2019
The best Mario Kart yet. Much better than Wii and 7. The tracks are awesome, graphics are stunning, music is great, and the battle mode is way better than the Wii U version. The online is mediocre though. Also why can't you port the data from the Wii U version if you already owned it. This means I have to pay $60 for basically the same game.

Super Mario Odyssey10
Mar 4, 2019
An amazing Mario title with stunning graphics, amazing music, cool locations, and a real sense of adventure. Mario's moveset feels more refined then ever and Cappy is a really cool mechanic. My only major complaint is that there isn't much replay value after beating the Darker Side. Overall, the best Mario game since 64.

Kirby Star Allies6
Mar 4, 2019
A disappointing Kirby game. The levels are boring and the game is really short. The game plays it too safe and is way too easy (even for Kirby standards). The content is also lacking. The DLC is cool, but isn't enough to satisfy me. It's just a few characters and a short new mode. I'd even take NSMB U DX over this game. At least that game was decently challenging, had better level design, and more content.

Nintendo Switch

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy8
Mar 4, 2019
A solid remake of Crash's golden days. Music is better than ever and the game looks great as well. Warped is also one of my all-time favorite games so that's a win-win from the start. The game suffers though, due to the heavy physics and the overall datedness of the game. It doesn't exactly fix any of the problems of the originals anyway.
PlayStation 4

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey9
Jan 11, 2019
I adored the original, and this version easily lives up to it. It retains all the charm, battles, and story from the original. It also has some new content and feels more polished than the original. It's not a ten though, as the Bowser Jr mode is only okay. But still, this game is really enjoyable, and is one of the best 3DS remakes/ports.

New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe6
Jan 11, 2019
NSMB U Deluxe is a soulless rehash of an already underwhelming game. Also, what happened to Boost Rush mode? Also, why is the air spin the same button as the jump? Also, why can't you port the data from the Wii U version if you already owned it? This means I have to pay $60 for basically the same game. Also, Peachette? Seriously Nintendo?
