Luigi’s third solo adventure is the ultimate evolution of it’s formula. A game well designed to be fun either playing alone or with company. Also, it’s visuals and ambiance are incredible.

Despite some misgivings with the extras, the actual core Luigi's Mansion 3 experience is one of the best adventures of 2019. [Issue #44 – January/February 2020, p. 64]

The aim is to search a ghost-filled hotel looking for Mario & friends. In doing so you destroy an entire hotel in search of gold coins and ghouls. It’s beautifully designed and animated. Its only downfall is that it’s too long. With 15 floors of the mansion to cover, by floor 11, I was over the gameplay

Graphics 10/10 Creativity: 9/10 Boss battles :2/10 Controls/aiming. : 2/10 Confusing 9/10 This is not a kid game, you need YouTube help, a guide on where to go and hopefully the controls aren’t so terrible that you squeak thru some awkward sections just got to level 15 and I’m about done with this game. A bit too repetitive with the body slamming and feeling tedious to get thru some levels. It is a beautiful looking game but a bit of a chore

If spooky, cartoony, fun and charming action, full of puzzles and mystery is your cup of tea - drink no further! If you loved the first and second one, jump right in. If you didn't play those, go and play them, then jump right in. This is a perfectly balanced treat for any fan of the cutesy horror, that perhaps only Nintendo can deliver. An absolute joy of a game, you should not dare miss.

The mechanical structure is quite repetitive, but this ghost hunting adventure in a haunted mansion looks and sounds just great. A decent experience throughout, but no stroke of genius like Super Mario Odyssey or Breath of the Wild.

Make no mistake; Luigi’s Mansion 3 is a good game. With a great variety in themes, inventive bosses, and some really cool small ideas that break up the main gameplay elements. There are just a few things holding it back from being great, such as a massive lack of enemy variation and I do feel that at certain points, the games plays it a little too safe at times. Nevertheless, I had tons of fun playing through and it is an easy recommendation to anybody, as it will appeal to so many different people. Luigi is still my favourite Ghostbuster.

Luigi’s Mansion’s 3 is my kind of haunted house — a place that’s more funny than scary. For anyone who likes Nintendo games of the Mushroom Kingdom variety there are many reasons to book a stay.

Das Spiel ist top, sehr viel Spaß und einfach gute Mischung aus Lustig und Grußelig. Nicht viel mehr zu sagen, ist halt einfach toll.

Something that started super fun and looking breathetaking, ended up a big disapointment. This game loses all the fun once you start thinking about not missing any gems, vaccuming everything, thinking if u missed something and then once u log back into game, everything u vaccumed is back into it’s original place. I had huge hopes for this games, but all those hiddes places, some places where you just don’t understand what to do, hard boss fights etc… ruined the experience completely. Not returning to this game ever.

Positive: + Good humour. + The animation is nice, but unexpected animation and the 30fps frame rate make control stiff and often frustrating. + Ghosts have more personality than those in Luigi's Mansion 2. + Some floor have interesting puzzles and are fun to explore. Negative: - Controls are more complicated and less intuitive than in previous entries. - Puzzles and boss battles can be extremely confusing even for veteran players. - Exploring the game later on for gems and hidden boos is not funny because all the regular ghosts respawn. Because of this, all the stages of the playthrough feel like a constant chore. As soon as you're having fun with something, the game will ruin the experience somehow. - How worthless E. Gadd Hotline can be. - Unforgiving level design limits experimentation. - It's not as magical as Luigi's Mansion 1 and not as playable as 2. - I found a glitch during the annoying floor 11 boss battle that forced me to restart the game. - More unfair than challenging, more torture than fun and less enjoyable than both 1 and 2.
