Mario Tennis Aces may well feature the best mechanics the series has seen to date, its new Zone manoeuvres and Trick Shots adding an exciting, madcap layer of depth to the sport. While Adventure isn’t the big single player hook I’d have hoped and some options feel a little too stripped down, it’s the game’s multiplayer that will keep this title a firm favourite for months to come. Golf next please Camelot.

Brisk pace, easy control, good gameplay, lots of ideas and game modes. This is the new Mario Tennis Aces which is a wise purchase for your Switch. [Issue#288]

I’m pleased that we finally got a new full-fledged game by Camelot. What’s more, it will appeal to a whole lot of different people ranging from hardcore fighting games fans to your grandma and grandpa, though the difficulty level can be painful at times. The most important thing is that Waluigi begins his special move with a rose between his teeth, which puts Mario Tennis Aces dangerously close to the GOTY territory. [08/2018, p.64]

Mario Tennis Aces ReviewMario Tennis Aces stands as one of the most influential action games ever made, delivering a near-perfect blend of tight gameplay, memorable world-building, and exhilarating combat from start to **** step into the boots of Master Chief, a supersoldier dropped into the middle of a mysterious alien ringworld. The story unfolds with a strong sense of intrigue, gradually revealing the secrets of this strange structure and the conflict surrounding it. It strikes a great balance between cinematic storytelling and player-driven discovery, letting the world speak for itself without overwhelming **** gameplay is where Mario Tennis Aces truly excels. Movement feels smooth and deliberate, gunplay is precise, and every weapon has a distinct role. Whether you prefer picking enemies off at a distance or charging into the chaos, the sandbox design gives you the freedom to approach encounters in your own way. The addition of vehicles adds even more variety—few moments are as memorable as speeding across open terrain while under heavy fire.Enemy design is another major strength. Each alien faction behaves differently, forcing you to adapt your tactics on the fly. Some enemies are aggressive and relentless, while others are more strategic, creating dynamic and unpredictable encounters that keep the experience fresh **** level design deserves special praise. Large, open environments seamlessly transition into more focused combat spaces, encouraging exploration without sacrificing pacing. The game constantly introduces new scenarios and challenges, making sure it never feels repetitive.Multiplayer is equally groundbreaking. It offers fast, competitive matches that are easy to pick up but difficult to master. The variety of maps and modes ensures long-lasting replayability, and the core mechanics translate perfectly into a competitive setting.Visually, the game creates a strong and cohesive atmosphere. The alien landscapes are striking and memorable, and the sense of scale adds to the feeling of being part of something much larger than yourself. Combined with an iconic soundtrack, it delivers an experience that sticks with you long after you finish.Overall, Mario Tennis Aces is a landmark title that set a new standard for the genre. Its combination of compelling gameplay, immersive world, and innovative design makes it a must-play for anyone interested in action games.Final Score: 10/10

sorprendido con que no fuese tan malo, al menos tiene un modo historia, breve pero tiene y a ver como cualquier juego de deportes solo lo usas cuando viene alguien a tu casa, asi que mas de un 6 no se le puede dar

I bought this game in 2018 and thought it wasn't that crazy. I mean, besides the story mode, you can't really enjoy this game without someone else. So after playing the adventure mode I never touched or thought of this game again. But recently I played it with my brother, and I gotta admit that it's pretty fun. The mechanics are great, the graphics aren't bad, the character roster is insanely cool, so overall I don't think it's a must-buy for the Nintendo Switch, but it still is a good game

Without any doubt, this is one of the best installments if the Mario Tennis series. Not only for the number of game modes it offers, but because of its addictive gameplay. Mario Tennis Aces is a must-buy for Nintendo Switch owners.

Mario Tennis Ace is another must have for the Switch library. With various forms of play, it appeals to different types of players of different ages and genres, for hours and hours . The main issue: we have a great competitive game, but with a poor online performance, leaving a bitter taste of having bought an incomplete game.

Bellissimo gioco, gameplay avvincente, sia per le molte modalità sia per le mosse speciali.

Super Tennis is great 2p fun. This is Super Tennis with good graphics. Sort your menu's out Nintendo because these menu's are a joke. Think of it as a 3D variation of Windjammers. If you like Windjammers, you'll like this.

Aces delivers as a competent arcade tennis game, and the new mechanics are fun and important enough that I would be surprised to see them removed in a future Mario Tennis. The difficulty spikes in the campaign are frustrating, but not impossible to overcome. Leveling Mario even as you fail makes the losses sting less (though I would have killed for a quick retry option) and I was always eager to see what I would be doing next.

Mario Tennis Aces gives the arcade tennis series a massive injection of depth, turning this family friendly sports title into a tactical, fast-paced chess game that is a thrill to play against other people. Its depth is well explained in a limited story mode that has some interesting ideas, but it’s a tougher sell if you’re not looking to lose yourself in hours and hours of online play.

Mario Tennis Aces has fantastic gameplay held back by barebones content and not much customization.

Neither easy nor unforgiving, it makes you wonder who Aces is really for; stalwart Mario fans may love the premise but find the complex combos tricky to master, whilst tennis purists may love the core game, but also struggle to adjust to those special abilities...That said, it’s beautiful, it’s polished, and it will likely be a smash hit for anyone who’s been waiting all these years for a complex and challenging Mario tennis game.

Showing little appreciation for what makes tennis a fascinating sport, Mario Tennis Aces is like a server who can't stop committing double faults.

Hasta el dia de hoy uno de los mejores juegos de tennis. Su modo historia pese a ser muy corto es adictivo. solo que debe mejorarse el modo en linea

7.9 over 10 Good game and a real succesor of Mario Power Tennis from GameCube. The story should be possible with more characters than just Mario. Boo voices are regular on my experience. I like better the N64 one!.
I changed from 10 to 8 because online tourneys are unfair and has slow and lags ocasionally. I use even my internet cable and still has problems and lags. Edit: Bowser is almost always the final rival on star cup. I am tired of it. Before was possible not always the same character on previous mario tennis games

This could have been so good, seeing as the old ones were amazing, but instead they made it so you can just spam a single move over and over again and defeat the AI.

Mario Tennis Aces is the single most disappointing game I have ever played. I do not live in my parents basement, and I am not a priest who worships Mario Sunshine. I bought this game because I thought it would be good. This game didn’t launch with an opening cutscene. When I was told that, I laughed. No one could make a game without an opening cutscene. And yet…. The “story mode” is stupid. You gain nothing from it. I didn’t play past the mansion. The story mode was frankly, lackluster and pointless. The stage selection is bad, as you have to choose everything you need every single time. The character selection is good (you can play as Pauline!) but some characters you have to get through online. You can’t get them if you don’t have online, and they cycle through monthly! Do they think this keeps people “engaged”? I didn’t even bother with the other Mario sports games, and they were the same as this one. The sentence that sums this game up the most is “What happened here?”
