This 3 year old game crashes all the time on a brand new gaming PC. Then there's the fact that EA decided to take the ESG money by ham-fisting as many ugly black women and other subversive propaganda elements as they possibly could into this remake. Just play the original game.

God of War: Ragnarok3
Apr 16, 2026
Very overrated/mediocre cinematic slop game from Sony with endless cutscenes and far too much focus on story. The game looks quite nice and the combat is not bad, but you'll be forced to walk one mile an hour and listen to annoying NPCs rant about nonsense for half the game, not to mention the handholding during puzzle segments for all the low IQ dunces. Then there's the fact that this game is loaded with subversive propaganda (which should be surprising to no one) and features a very obviously forced DEI character that has to accompany Atreus for a large section of the game. This is the type of game that came from the success of The Last of Us, made for the normie tourists who decided video games were cool after 2013 and killed gaming for gamers.

Resident Evil Requiem9
Apr 16, 2026
This is a very good survival horror/action game. Requiem combines elements from previous Resident Evil entries and slaps them together for a really fun roller coaster ride. You basically have two styles of gameplay: Newcomer Grace has an old school approach that resembles classic Resident Evil if you play in 3rd person, while feeling more like RE7 when played in first person. Grace's segments are more horror oriented, she has very limited inventory space and can sometimes struggle to take down basic enemies. Then you have Leon who is a bit of a powerhouse with much better weapons and the good ol' attaché case (all of which can be upgraded.) His segments feel reminiscent of RE4 with more focus on action. The campaigns sort of cross over, but you'll largely play as Grace for the first half, while playing mostly as Leon for the second half. The story is a bit weird and it retcons some things from older games (there are more returning characters than just Leon,) but there's so much fan service and nostalgia bait for the old school fans that I don't think many people will mind it. This game does have some minor flaws, there's an elevator sequence in Leon's campaign that feels a bit broken/unfinished and the game has a very strange way of addressing NG+ that is unlike what I was expecting. The challenges found in the menus do offer some decent replayability and allow you to unlock extra weapons/items like previous Resident Evil games, but I do wish there were a few more weapons to play around with. I've heard Capcom is making DLC for this so hopefully we can get some more weapons and story content that fills in some of the confusing gaps. I typically do not recommend buying games at full price, but Capcom did a very good job with this game so I would say check it out if you can afford to spend the money.

Silent Hill 20
Apr 14, 2026
Silent Hill 2 is not a game that can be remade. There was no reason to remake this and there's certainly no reason to play it. The people who think this game is good are tourists who want to larp as Silent Hill fans while never having actually played the games, the types who watch lore videos on YouTube so they can pretend they were fans since the 2000's. Just play the original game which is far superior to this.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered1
Sep 17, 2025
The action/stealth gameplay segments are pretty fun and exciting... But the rest of the game is awful. The story is insultingly bad and I found nearly all the characters to be insufferable which results in most of the story segments feeling very drawn out and boring. Unless you enjoy cringe leftwing propaganda forced down your throat, stay away from this one because the good gameplay segments don't make up for the level of cringe you will undoubtedly experience from the narrative.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster1
Nov 5, 2025
Stay away from this game. Just play the original PC version of Dead Rising because it still holds up. Capcom censored a bunch of random things like gore and erotica PP features, they even ruined one of the best bosses by changing his lines (and stooped to race swapped another boss...) This game is also very poorly optimized. The original game on Xbox360 had seemingly hundreds of zombies loaded in despite only having 512MB of RAM on the console, this copy/paste version in Capcom's RE Engine somehow requires 16GB of RAM and the zombies seem lazy and less aggressive, but that might be because Capcom dumbed the game down and removed a lot of the challenge. The one good thing about the remaster is you can now move while aiming a gun, but honestly it just makes the game feel cheap and too easy for people familiar with the original. It's really too bad Capcom totally dropped the ball with this remaster because Dead Rising is really a fantastic game that deserved better.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A1
Oct 20, 2025
This game is the typical low effort slop made for "modern audiences." One of the biggest franchises in the world and the game looks and runs like a Dreamcast game from 1999. I have no idea why people buy this stuff, it's not even worth the time I wasted playing it for free on a Ryujinx emulator. This game is already a total rip off at 70$, not to mention the day one DLC that's 30$, plus you'll need to spend an extra 20$ to get certain "mega evolutions." If you're a fan of Pokemon and you want better Pokemon games, let Nintendo and Game Freak know by not buying this. Save your money and replay the old handheld games or go check out Palworld.

I am not understanding the hype for this game outside of nostalgia, it's quite mediocre in my opinion. It's not a bad game, but it's not particularly good either. The graphics look great and it runs very well on PC, but the flashy visuals and great soundtrack from the original are not enough to make up for the fairly boring/tedious gameplay loop. Most of the game is spent running around "open world" sections and annoyingly trying to do all the Ubisoft style checklist quests like you're doing chores. There's lots of minigames you'll find in towns with varying quality, some are fun while some are just awful (like getting the lady's chickens to follow you...) I have a lot of other small gripes with this game like the chocobo riding controls being very annoying/bad, but my main gripe is with the battle system. It's just too chaotic and unfocused, but I felt that way with the first game. If you liked the battle system from the first game then you will probably like this one, I just personally do not care for it. Materia feels mostly useless in this game (at least on the normal difficulty,) but I'm guessing it makes more of a difference on higher difficulties. I almost exclusively used ATB skills and never casted spells in this game, and it really made the game feel shallow when there's no reason to focus on different builds (or tactical approaches) for different battles like some of the classic FF games did. On the normal difficulty you can just brute force your way through the vast majority of the game with the same 3 party members. The rest of your party gains experience even when you're not using them so there's no real incentive to use a character or different party that you're not accustomed to. One good thing I want to mention is the new card game "Queen's Blood," it's great. It will likely take a few games for you to really grasp how it works, but once you understand it you'll realize it's a ton of fun. I think my favorite part of FF7 Rebirth was the Queen's Blood card game and trying to get all the different cards to use against higher level opponents. With all that said, I think FF7 Rebirth is mostly held up by people's nostalgia for the old PS1 days. The game looks nice and it's fun to see all the things you loved from FF7 Disc 2 in modern graphics along to a high quality score of the classic soundtrack, but the things they changed about the story seem mostly pointless (with the exception of one character) and we are left with even more unanswered questions than the first remake. If you're a super fan of FF7 then obviously you have to play this, but otherwise it might not be worth it.

Not only is this a DEI insult to Japanese culture, but it's a single player game full of microtransactions. An exact replica of all Ubisoft's previous checklist games that are designed to frustrate the player into wasting money on microtransactions (that are essentially just cheat codes) to make the game **** less. It's a storefront with a game attached that's made by braindead leftwing activists. Tencent will probably put CCP censorship in these games in the future and it will still be better than what the western Karen culture did to them.

Great game. Be aware this game is quite difficult, quite a bit more difficult than the first game... But it is a really fun and satisfying game when you get the mechanics down. If you like 2D Metroidvania games and Dark Souls style combat based on reacting, then you will have a blast with this one. Everything about it is 10/10.

I have no idea why this game has positive reviews. It was incredibly mediocre at launch, probably not quite as bad as many others made it out to be (at least on PC, I think it was probably unplayable on consoles at release...) They updated the game quite a bit, but none of those updates really changed anything of value. It's still the same mediocre game, just with slightly better graphics and a handful of glaring bugs being fixed. I haven't played the DLC, but the base game is still bad.

Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon7
Jun 4, 2025
Tainted Grail feels like Bethesda's Elder Scrolls games (Oblivion/Skyrim) mashed up with From Software's action RPG games (Dark Souls/Elden Ring) except on a lower budget. This game is a little rough around the edges, but the things it does right make it worth checking out. The combat is a lot of fun and you'll feel compelled to explore every inch of the world to find all the hidden little dungeons, upgrades, and items you'll need for crafting food and gear. I really enjoyed the over the top ragdoll physics when killing enemies. Smacking a deer and sending them flying never stopped being hilarious. I played this game on the normal difficulty and I felt a bit overpowered in the middle of the game, but the challenge was definitely solid in the earlier game and gets better towards the end.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record9
Sep 22, 2024
This is the best version of Dead Rising 2, it's essentially a "director's cut" style expanded version of DR2 where you get to play as Frank West from the first game. You're put in a sort of alternate timeline type story where DR1's Frank West replaces Chuck Greene in DR2's original story (which causes events to play out differently than the original DR2) with a fair amount of added content, including a space themed park and a bunch of outfits that were not in the base game. There's also a Sandbox Mode with all new challenges that allows you to freely explore the mall without the story's normal time constraints. This can be useful because your character keeps the same stats and outfits between both modes, so you may find you want to take a break from the story to grind out some money/PP points that could be useful in Story Mode, or maybe you just want to explore and take on unique challenges without paying attention to time. If you've recently played DR2, then you may not need to play this because it's mostly the same game, but if you haven't played the original DR2 or haven't played it in a long time, then this is the version you want to pick up. Some of the "psychopath" bosses are a bit cheap/unfair, but when you get used to how they work and start understanding how to approach fighting them, you should get the hang of it (or you can skip them and try tackling them in NG+ when you're higher level.) This game runs really great on PC and the fairly dated graphics still look fantastic. The only issue I had was the game crashing if I tried to minimize it so I had to save and quit my game before doing anything else on my computer. This was a bit annoying at first, but honestly I think it allowed me to enjoy the game more without being interrupted by things in my internet browser lol. DR2: OTR is a great game and if you like Capcom's Resident Evil series then you will definitely enjoy this.

Cocoon10
Jun 1, 2024
Cocoon is a simple yet fantastic puzzle game that is quite a bit more complex than it first appears. The puzzles are just tough enough to get you thinking without having you stumped on how to proceed. There are a few tough ones near the end, but you should be able to figure them out without a guide. This game is mainly what I would call a "puzzle platformer," but also includes a handful of really interesting boss fights. If you liked Portal, then you will probably like the direction this game goes with it's "dimensions within dimensions within dimensions" style puzzles. Cocoon really makes you think about how the game works to overcome each obstacle while simultaneously making you feel like genius for making it through.

Signalis8
May 16, 2024
Think of an indie game that combines classic Resident Evil/Silent Hill and mashes it up with Metal Gear Solid in a dark science fiction universe... Signalis feels like a modernized ps1 era survival/horror game with a really nice looking pixel art style and ambient soundtrack. It has a small drawback in its limited inventory space, but I usually didn't mind it because it forces you to think about how to create a safe path to and from the storage box with your limited resources. The story is quite confusing, but the tense Lovecraftian atmosphere will make you want to figure it out. The game also runs great on Switch.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder9
Oct 28, 2023
Nintendo does not disappoint with this really solid and fun 2D Mario adventure that comes with all the polish you'd expect from a modern Super Mario Bros game. I would have liked to experience a bit more challenge in the later stages of the game (the "final, final" level is brutally difficult,) but it has a nice mix of very easy and fairly difficult levels with a high level of replayability as you search for secret exits/collectables that unlock new paths on the map (akin to SMB World on SNES) and hidden seeds that you'll need to unlock new levels/castles. The game looks great, feels great to control, and it combines a lot of different ideas that we've seen in other Mario games while adding a few new twists like rhythm based levels and new powerups. It's fairly short and sweet (100% completion will take around 20-25 hours, but you'll definitely find yourself wanting to scour each level for every secret, especially if you have friends to play with.)

Resident Evil 410
Oct 3, 2023
10/10 great game. I found myself playing through the game multiple times in a row to try out different weapons because it was so much fun. It genuinely feels like they took the good aspects of the original RE4 (which didn't even need a remake in my opinion because it still holds up fairly well) and dialed up the action/horror and gameplay to the max. The game looks fantastic, it plays fantastic, and most importantly it's fun as well as feeling like a proper homage to the original GameCube classic. If you like survival/action horror games and/or the Resident Evil series, you definitely need to play this. The new DLC (which remakes Ada's original DLC content) is fantastic as well.

Starfield3
Oct 3, 2023
Starfield is an incredibly mediocre game that was likely made by uninspired "woke" diversity hires. This is not a system seller, this is not a next gen game, this is not even a properly optimized game. The fact that this game has been able to maintain a "generally favorable" score is astounding and lets people know a couple of things. One being that gamers in the aggregate have incredibly low expectations and will gladly throw their time and money away on lackluster releases like this that are totally devoid of creativity and talented developers, the other thing being that popular game reviewers/websites are doing deals behind closed doors with high dollar studios like Bethesda to give their releases favorable scores in trade for free review codes. Starfield is slow, boring, uninteresting, and uninspired. The story is essentially something that was already done better in games like Mass Effect and nearly all dialogue choices lead to the same conclusions. It feels like a flashy "space mod" for Fallout 4. Go play Baldur's Gate 3 if you are looking for a quality RPG game.
