With this remake, Motive has managed to treat the original Dead Space with the utmost respect whilst rebuilding it to be perfect for today. Almost every improvement serves to enhance the reputation of a horror classic. Dead Space should be the blueprint for creating a truly exceptional remake.

Dead Space is an excellent remake, recommended both for newcomers, who will enjoy an engaging and terrifying survival horror, and for fans of the brand, who will appreciate the many new features introduced in the plot and gameplay. This remake represents an optimal starting point for the saga.

Everything good about Dead Space 2023’s basic gameplay, combat, and narrative is a result of what Dead Space 2008 built. Most of what this remake adds is either less appealing artistic alterations or side content that generally amounts to unnecessary padding, and quite frankly I’d have been more interested in a remaster than a glitchy new take that’s less enjoyable and costs more. When you add the repulsive context of EA benefiting from a series it once destroyed right down to the developer, you get a game that leaves a sour bloody taste, even if it’s an acceptable mimicry of its predecessor...Dead Space 2008 is fifteen quid on digital storefronts.

Bellissimo, super divertente e davvero innovativo mi sono davvero divertito platinarlo

Um jogo OK Venderam Dead Space para mim como um dos melhores remakes da história. Como sou um grande apreciador de jogos de terror, achei que seria uma ótima ideia experimentá-lo. No fim das contas, achei que o jogo não tem nada de muito especial. Ele não me impressionou tanto em termos de mecânicas nem de gráficos para um título da nova geração. A história é razoável. Cumpre seu papel, mas definitivamente não parece ser o foco principal da experiência. Quanto ao terror, diria que ele funciona, mas com algumas ressalvas. O jogo tenta assustar o jogador o tempo todo e, em certos momentos, os sustos parecem forçados ou até sem muito sentido, o que acaba diminuindo o impacto. No geral, é um jogo legal, mas eu recomendaria controlar as expectativas. Vá de mente aberta e talvez a experiência seja mais agradável do que foi para mim.

Atmosphere is lacking compared to original. Gameplay feels good but too easy even on hard i died like twice. Nicole looks like she's in her 60s instead of 40s. Inferior remake but not bad.

Started good: spooky setting, good graphics, fun gameplay. Difinitely better than The Callisto Protocol. Then it went too long, boring and repetitive. I was going to give it 7-/10, but the last chapter and the last boss fight ruined it for me: 4/10.

Mediocre horror game! Not one scary moment. Pretty boring gameplay and loads of gamebreaking bugs. Graphicd are also not really that good. EA games does it again!
