Compared to Fury Road it feels weird. The cuts are bad, theres far too much CGI and everything is squeaky clean and new. I mean literally clean. The vehicles, the things people wear and use, the people themselves. The makeup is bad as well. Hemsworths nose looks so fake, its like a cheap Halloween witches nose you can buy for a few bucks. Characters also feel flat. Especially the ones we already know from the last movie. They dont seem like themselves. Immortan Joe seems to not even be in power, hes that weakly portrayed. Nobody in this movie would follow him, like they did in the last movie, just for a few females. But yet they do. It makes no sense. But even new characters like "Dementus", seem only like a parody of bad guys. The only interesting one, Jack, is not explored enough and treated like most white males nowadays. He feels a bit like a replacement Mad Max, but then again its just a shallow and ultimately unimportant character. All in all still an entertaining movie, but doesnt get close to the last one. Maybe if it was 30 minutes longer to compensate for the weird cuts. But then it would still feel weird, because of all the mentioned problems.

I dont even know what I just watched. Its like someone completely disconnected from reality and emotions wrote this. Its a completely pointless movie about nothing, but written with such detail about useless things, that it seems it was written for autists who would take that movie apart for decades, finding new things every day to uselessly talk about. The army of well known actors is impressive and the visual style is very interesting (1 point for that), but ultimately its a completely pointless movie that could have been made by AI, before AI even had emotions added to it and tried to understand them by making this movie.

One of the best movies ever. Not gonna spoil it, but its one of the few movies that actually has the real bad guys on this planet as the bad guys in the plot. Thats the people Batman, Superman, Jack Ryan, Jack Bauer, John Wick, etc should really be hunting down. Nobody cares about the classic bad guys anymore, because even if they exist, they dont do remotely as much damage to the world as the real ones.

Woke garbage crap with fringe and sick characters trying to make them lovable or look normal. Dont waste your time. This is not Evil Dead.

One of the best movies of 2022, hands down. Lots of people see it as a serious movie, but it isnt. Its just stupid fun with a fun story, and thats how you should watch it. If you think about "thats not realistic" or "thats too brutal" or "too many white people", while watching it, go watch Willow instead while citing your CRT bible.

Actually a pretty good Predator movie, especially compared to the ones that came after it. Yeah, it has plot holes, like the Fishbourne character acting without any logic (but I guess maybe hes gone crazy), and the ending could have been better, but overall the movie is very entertaining, at least a few characters are likable and you actually feel sad when they die (rare in modern woke movies) and the setting brings you back to the best movie of them all.

I didnt know what to think about this movie at first. Then I read the claims of the director that this movie was meant to criticize republicans about climate change. But: Why do republicans love Bill Clinton in this movie then? Why is a Bill Gates/Fauci hybrid and Hillary Clinton being portrayed as republican then? Why is the MSM being shown as republican outlets? The only explanation is that the makers of this movie suffer from extreme projection and reality shined through a bit here and there. They dont realize that everything they claim about the other side is what they do and are themselves. Still, this fact makes this movie pretty hilarious. See it as an "Idiocracy" in the present and real life. Its a case study of the state of media, politization of science and corruption going on in the real world. Just not colored the way the director thought it would be. He thinks too black and white and far too much from his own very biased standpoint. Hes a mainstream director after all, getting his money from the establishment, which of course he needs to please to be able to keep making movies in this age and day of cancel culture. I think he does know exactly what he did and so just used the distorted view of reality in this movie as full blown propaganda against his political opponents. The movie is for sure so bad that its good again. Thats why finding a proper score was pretty hard to do. I mean it entertained me. Thats why I was going to give it a 5 or 6. But in the end I see reality and what was intended with this movie, which I cant tolerate in good conscience.

Its really not a super great movie. At least not if you have maintained your standard over the last few years of garbage movies. Yet it was still very enjoyable for the simple fact that it wasnt woke at all. And thats very obviously the reason why the critics and woke viewers/bots rip it apart so much. I found it good enough to forget everything around me and just focus on the movie, which is a rare thing nowadays. It was basically the puddle of water in the desert of woke crap.

The movie feels very cheaply made, the actors (even the well known ones) act like they only gotten a few bucks for their work and the plot is like a 10 year old wrote it. It is however very brutal and graphic. Sometimes massively over the top, very unlike Michael Myers. But it literally makes no sense. I thought cheap movies from the 70s were bad, but this is a disgrace for pretty much anything and anyone involved. It still boggles my mind how I sat through it. Maybe Im becoming desperate after so many bad movies in the last few years.

As boring and soulless as any woke propaganda movie. Very telling that so many "people" here rating it 10 are actually new accounts. Ive seen that before here, where it was exposed that they bought/manipulated the ratings.

Yes, a few actors arent the best, yet they are well cast except some exceptions. Yes, the story isnt super great. Yes, the music could be better. Yes, Cole is not a great main character. But I dont really know what people expected from a cringy IP in the first place? A masterwork of art and acting? Please... Its action. Stupid, unrealistic and brainless action! For todays standards this is a very good brainless flick, that simply entertains through good action, in the likes that you havent seen since the 90s. Also it has almost no political crap in it, which gives it quite a few plus points. But it doesnt get along completely without it. Mileena is such a thing. She looks nothing like the original character (not even the same ethnicity) and has a body shape that makes her fit better into a Weight Watchers commercial. She also gets dealt with rather effortless. Other than that its really well made and how those fighters got their powers and other abilities/features is also more or less well explained. I am excited for a sequel!

10 times better than the theatrical version. It seems like a completely new movie. 4 hours is a lot, and even I was getting a bit sore on my butt, but its absolutely worth it. The character development was outstanding. I even started to like Aquaman and especially The Flash, even though I disliked them previously. The action is great and believable and the story is being told so well that you never really know what happens next and you always fear the worst. It has a bit of wokeness injected, but its nothing bad or out of the ordinary compared to the 90s or 00s. Totally tolerable. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that Batman looked very clumsy and sometimes useless in this movie. The other superheroes outdid him many times in agility and cleverness. You always feared that he would suddenly be killed with one hit by a lesser bad guy. And in fact he gets saved by the others many times from those sudden deaths. That was once different. The major surprise in this movie was Cyborg. Very well done. I really loved that character. He was very powerful, but also had his humanity and weaknesses. The Flash also was much more likeable and not as annoying or stupid anymore. I compared him to the new Spiderman in the theatrical version (who I find extremely obnoxious and childish with terrible humor). But here he seems much more mature, relatable and not once annoying, while still displaying his strengths and weaknesses extremely well. A very well done movie. Very refreshing in this propaganda drenched age.

Been a Godzilla fan for 40 years. But in this movie Godzilla only plays a minor and villainous role. It should be named Kong vs. Godzilla. Godzilla also seems very weak and small (and stupid - the ocean scene). Other than that its at least an enjoyable mindless action flick, for this age. Of course it cant do without lots of woke crap injected. Men seem to be all doofuses, crazy, mindless grunts or villains and only follow the lead of females. And again we see the Critical Race Theory classic: The only Asian is a bad guy. Im starting to feel really bad for Asians who dont know that they are dooming themselves by following this woke cult.

I have no idea what I just watched, but I do know it was intended to be blatant and deceiving woke propaganda. The beginning of the movie is kinda ok. Even the supernatural stuff. It is very unrealistic from the start (like a B17 landing right over her head and then she doesnt move and suddenly she stands right under another stopped B17, or no oxygen needed on a Pacific flight - yet they do have filled oxygen tanks that play a role later, or the temperature on board in that altitude). But it keeps you interested for a good while. The issue isnt really the female protagonist or a completely incompetent "diversity" token co-pilot (you do know what youre doing with such a depiction, director, do you?), its that the movie suddenly takes a hard woke/crazy/ridiculousness turn in the middle, that just makes you feel like you have just been conned by the director and writer (interestingly woke directors use that tactic a lot in movies and series - I wonder why... no I dont). Even the music turns to absolute garbage all of the sudden (not that it was fitting for the times depicted in the first place). Turns out the whole movie was just about giving it to men and pointing out that women served in WW2 and can scream very loud for no reason (I thought thats an old stereotype they wanted to get rid of?) and can develop literal super powers and freeze enemies in fear so that they let themselves get killed without any defense. To the director and writer: If you wanted to show the female heroes of WW2, then you should have made a documentary about them. Those were real heroes and a vital part in the effort to win WW2 (even, or especially in Russia). With crap like this you make fun of them. Not only that, you demean the male heroes of WW2 and divide present societies, paving the way for new conflicts and ultimately wars. Disgusting.

In this movie you always think something will happen. But nothing happens. The whole movie just keeps you guessing and never delivers proof of what its trying to tell you. It doesnt even tell you much about where its playing, leaves out a huge chunk of context so that youre just sitting there with a huge question mark over your head most of the duration. Its kinda funny how this reflects reality far too often. I mean I know what its trying to say, but I hate movies that try to put it into a sexual way, only blame men. It happens with everyone. Not just women. EVERYONE. It happened to me too, and I am not a woman. If you want to fix this, dont go after sexism, go after discrimination and favoritism/nepotism as a whole. The real problems make this movie look petty and dividing. The people going along with this are also the problem. Because they benefit from it and/or are too weak to speak up WHEN IT HAPPENS and dont document it. Its like supply and demand.

Didnt have that much fun with a movie in a long time. First off, Betty Gilpin is amazing. Her unique acting makes you like her character instantly. The pokes at liberals and conservatives are funny and reflect reality all too well. The conversation at the end was so realistic, I was instantly reminded of conversations with real leftist/liberal extremists. I had to pause, because I couldnt keep watching while laughing so hard. And I laughed hard again when I saw the angry reviews from leftists on this movie. :)

The main actors are good and believable, except for a few situations that werent authentic, like soldiers in WW1 would have reacted. And thats the only good thing about this movie. The rest reminded me of the plot of bad video games (incl. massive plot holes, like one area being extremely muddy and wet and then they only move a few hundred meters further on and its suddenly dry as a desert with dust blowing up, etc.). The action scenes were basically exactly like a video game where the main guy doesnt get hit at all (or if he does, he doesnt care much, because he just gets a healthkit) and his enemies dont know how to use a rifle or how to stop a human at all. Especially the scenes in Écoust are extremely unrealistic, and literally reminded me of a certain video game. And the sniper scene was so bad that that German sniper should have shot that guy 20 times. Especially at the last shot, where he knew EXACTLY where the guy was gonna pop up again. Also the main guy going out without seeking cover in a flare-lit town where everyone can see him was face palm inducing. Again he wasnt hit at all. Also there are many reports that made all the reactions in this movie look weird: Soldiers actually were very often reluctant to shoot or otherwise kill people. Especially in situations where they didnt have peer pressure or pressure from an officer (and thats why military training was massively altered after WW1, to make people more willing to shoot other people), which happen often in this movie. But even then they wouldnt try to kill people. Does the movie try to explain the bad shots with this? If so, that would be stupid, because especially in the scene where he is caught alone by a lone soldier, they wouldnt have fired at him at all, since he didnt even make an effort to shoot at them either. Him shooting first, trying to get cover and shooting back, instead of hoping that these guys were utter bad shots, would have made sense, since hes on such an important mission. But he didnt. The funny thing is, the drunk guy was the one that placed his shot as close to him as the sniper did, while all others couldnt hit a barn door from point blank. Then theres the scene with the airplane crash that simply was stupid. Why would the pilot act that way? It made no sense whatsoever. Pilots on both sides were actually one of the most honorable people back then. They had mutual "fair play" rules that would be impossible nowadays or even in WW2. Totally unbelievable. All in all the movie felt a lot like Fury. Fury also had many of these unrealistic situations that simply could not be true, which made it seem like a propaganda film right out of that time. Same with this movie. But they obviously made a huge effort to find out if there were really many racial minorities serving in Europe in the British Army. Should have put that effort into other research, too. For example the accuracy of German rifles and the differences in training of German and British soldiers.

Really good humor, awesome child actors and I even shed some tears at the end. What I dont understand is how PewDiePie is getting called a **** and loses contracts by using exactly the same kind of humor and a movie full of this humor is getting awards and praise in the media.

A good mix of genres perfectly executed. Something we rarely see. Horror, comedy and mystery. Samara Weavings performance is stunning. Her unconventional talent makes her stand out completely and instantly makes you understand why her character does this and that. She doesnt even need explanation to her character. Other actors are good too. There are some overdone characters, in an Adams Family-manner, but still very believable and funny. The dry humor is placed perfectly and often far too real (which of course isnt funny in real life).

The movie started well and made you interested in more. In the middle youre starting to predict the plot/ending. The end is full of incoherent story that leaves you with a lot of question marks above your head. Especially when the young Hans isnt anything like the old Hans or the woman claims she doesnt do all this because she wants revenge, even though it all points to revenge. And the very end is such blatant and pitiful virtue signalling that I almost felt bad for the makers of this movie, yet putting it at the very end feels more like deliberate deception of the viewer.

Here even I still thought that they would at least have listened a TINY TINY bit to their fan's critique, especially after the disasters that were Ep.8 and Solo. So I gave them a last chance. But they made everything worse actually. This movie is obviously the last where Jar Jar Abrams has any say. The movie feels like he just made it to tell the fans a nice farewell-"F*ck you! I make this! Not you! You all are just id*ots anyway!". Yes, its is THAT bad and completely wasted time and money. Judging from the plot holes and incoherent lore, the makers must literally be thinking the audience has an average IQ of 50 and have never seen the old trilogies or know nothing about Star Wars whatsoever. The only thing I can now hope for is that these episodes are going to be "remade" very very quickly. AKA completely new plot and characters. How about next year? And without Kennedy and of course Jar Jar or anyone who even slightly tolerated getting these movies released like that. Or just forget them and never ever mention anything that happened in them, like the Ghostbusters remake.

I didnt expect much, but I got good humor, likable and believable characters, a great bad guy, nice setting, a nice ending. All around one of the best DC movie, and I didnt like any of the newer ones except Suicide Squad and the Nolan Batman movies.

I actually liked the movie. But only by imagining she would fight the real bad guys. And in the real world that would mean the actress would fight herself and the filmmakers. So of course this means most of the work was done by my brain and not the filmmakers. So it only gets a 3. In Endgame it wasnt possible to run this self-deception about her anymore, because she completely ticked out, as if it was a completely different character all of the sudden... as if she was put into a cage for 3 years and treated horribly by her captors and of course completely invulnerable and more powerful than EVERY super hero combined. Just unbelievably silly. Even She-Ra and He-Man has more weaknesses than her, and more importantly, they were much more human-like, not like a robot trying to indoctrinate people (actually mostly children, which is even worse) with SJW fascism. And after seeing interviews with the actress, it completely destroyed that self deception, when seeing the movie again. Even her coworkers dont seem to like her much.

Feels very uninspired. Even some good actors wont make the characters lovable, simply because they are written like the stereotypical monotone, sterile, unemotional, Mary Sue'y and unfunny characters nowadays. The Walking Dead seems to have started this trend, by even killing off all the lovable ones quickly and only running a show based on its story alone, and now you see it almost everywhere, but the story wasnt even good or innovative either. Its a boring action fest. Obviously aimed at children, but even I as a child wouldnt have liked it. I liked movies like that as a child because of the characters. They were my heroes, they were lovable, they had their flaws, they had a deep personality, they were funny, they did great and believable things. Nowdays these film makers obviously either think children are all dumb as a rock or they aim to indoctrinate them with crap like this. And since its aimed at children, in these times it of course also has the mandatory SJW theme. MEN in Black. Of course they go off on that because woMEN are not included in MANkind and MEN in Black. Clearly we never saw female Men in Black before, huh? Instead of respecting that, and not doing division, they gotta do division, not only by mentioning it, but also mentioning it in an arrogant, femsplaining divisive way, and thus only showing their divisive and hypocritical ways. The main character from then on is completely unlikable, not that the others were not.

When I saw this movie I was pretty sure the director/writer must be an autist. It is exactly as I have experienced many autists. Maybe funny for certain types of autists, but creates 3 question marks over everyone elses head. Honestly, one of the worst wastes of time in my life.

Horrible script, horrible acting, overloaded with CGI that you think youre watching a bad parody and a Nicole Kidman not being able to have basic facial gestures because of the massive amounts of plastic surgeries and gallons of Botox in her face. The action is quite nice, but I am too old for movies which solely are based on action - except 80s and 90s movies, which still had good characters/actors at least. This movie is just wasted time.

I read the Hobbit the first time about 20 years before this movie and was instantly hooked. It was only natural to read the other JRR Tolkien work after it. This movie captures the atmosphere of the book perfectly. Other people here say they dont like how its stretched so much over 3 different film, but honestly that makes it perfect. It tells the story more like a book. You actually have time to look at the details in the sets and the countryside, on the characters, etc. Not to mention its rewatch-value is extremely high because of that. Even after the 5th time seeing it you still notice new things you didnt notice before. While the first part is the best one, the others are not that far behind. The second one is still very strong (9) and the last one has too much fighting at the end, which ruins the excitement and story telling (7). Compared to The Lord of the Rings its a much better trilogy. Maybe because of Del Toros work? Watching Lord of the Rings makes me feel somewhat empty at the end. Its not told was well, because many details and side stories of the books are missing and it seem hastened (even the extended versions). But the Hobbit trilogy is very fulfilling. Sure it has its flaws, like Legolas looking and feeling totally different because of his weird eyes and sometimes very bad and overdone CGI, but its still very good.

You know what really impressed me in this movie? The severe lack of political correctness and other neoliberal propaganda. It was just pure entertainment without trying to manipulate you into an agenda. Aside from that it perfectly captured the video/computer game and pop culture. And that with an old director as Steven Spielberg. That also impressed me a lot. The thing is, the references and homages arent cheesy or unfunny, like from someone who never understood this culture, but they actually make sense and make you laugh, they also reflect the gaming culture right now with all its ups and downs. At some point, when a bridge collapsed, I was so immersed that I thought to myself "just build a bridge like in Fortnite!". But of course, Fortnite wasnt that well known when this movie was made. :) Someone who is a gamer and pop culture fan himself wrote this script. And he didnt care about irrelevant PC! Because he knew that people play games and watch movies because they want to escape the dishonest and manipulative reality we have.

It made me chuckle 3 or 4 times. More than the average comedy nowadays. So I guess I give it a 3. The rest is just braindead action. The director has no clue how to build excitement, because the first few minutes expose the whole plot. I could always tell when someone was going to die next. Even if it was minutes away. And of course I could also tell who is not going to die. Predictable movie is predictable. And boring. And not worth your money.

I actually liked the first 20 minutes or so. It seemed like it was going along the classic lines. But then suddenly it turned around completely. The humor alone made this movie look like it was made for children ("Get to the choppers" Really?), but the logic was completely messed up as well. Nothing made sense. Predators want to steal autism? What? A boy in his teens just scoffs at naked boobies? I lost the plot completely at the end. Even as a parody it wouldnt have made sense. Complete and utter nonsense. Also cut so fast that you sometimes dont even realize what just happened. Literally. You just sit there with a giant question mark over your head. I watched The Meg before it and because it at least gave me 3 or 4 chuckles I found it better than The Predator. Yes, this movie is that bad. I dont know why they destroy all these formerly epic franchises. I cant believe they let people make these movies who have no idea what makes these franchises great or no idea how to write or direct a movie in the first place. Alien, Terminator, Star Wars, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, etc. They seem to want to rewrite everything great. Like changing history.

Loved the first one, but this one just wasnt funny. Sure, a few laughs here and there, but nothing like the first one. The first one was just genius. The jokes in 2 feel like a 10 year old wrote them, they are repeated all the time. The characters behavior seem totally out of place, as if its from a parallel universe. The CGI is actually really bad. Too much PC and leftist humor injected as well. It feels extremely artificial, like someone wants to screw you over. I dont know anyone who liked this movie even remotely close as much as the first one, yet the reviews are going through the roof everywhere. Very, VERY weird.

I have to admit, I actually enjoyed the movie the first time. The jokes were funny (altough they were a bit too numerous), it felt more like Star Wars than TFA and I liked the little details which saluted the original trilogy. I also admit I turned my brain off completely during that movie for reasons I still didnt discover. After I saw the first critical review of it on Youtube I was going: "Oh. Oh... Ohhhhh... OHHHHH! OMFG!!!11eleven". This movie seriously makes no sense at all in the Star Wars universe. I thought they messed up the Star Trek universe so much that Roddenberry rotated in his grave so much that he flew to the gamma quadrant, and TFA was bad enough, as if I was watching a parody of Episode 4, but this movie destroyed Star Wars that much, that it made me being disgusted of myself because I liked it at first. Well, not liked it, but at least I found it entertaining. After I whipped myself as punishment, I watched more critical reviews and found even more unbelievable stuff I didnt notice. So I whipped myself some more. Then I found out Abrams is doing the next movie again and I wanted to drown myself in the toilet, but thankfully my dog drank it dry before. But still, I was entertained at first, and so I will be fair and give it a 3... point 4.

I dont get the hype about this movie. Objectively, its a bad superhero movie, compared to others (even the bad ones). I loved Danai Gurira, shes a really bad ass actor and that role fit her very well. But the rest? The logical ties in the universe make no sense at all, if you take all the other movies together. The acting could have been better (especially that of the main actor). The bad guys are all jokes or even worse versions of young Annakin Skywalkers in black. The story itself makes not much sense either, nor does the depiction or imagination of Wakanda. Its like an insecure 10 year old wrote it. It honestly boggles my mind how this movie gets such high reviews. Just because its mainly black actors? I dont get it. If I was black I would see it as an insult, because the movie is that bad and cant compete with "white movies". It felt tedious to get through it. Spawn, Blade or Hancock deserved that much hype much more than this movie, if you just look at the "black". Seriously, normally I can see a pattern in seemingly senseless high ratings (or even low for that matter), but this time... If I would have to guess, the reasons for these high ratings are actual racism and virtue signalling only. But that cant be, can it?

Had a nice start. I hoped for a Vietnam style anti-war movie. where they admit how useless this war was from the beginning. But no. Its Rambo 3 Refurbished Edition. Its completely unrealistic and they show pretty much the same battle 4 times in the movie. What really angered me is the fact that they make this operation against Al Qaeda out to be such a heroic task but then forget to mention that the USA today supports Al Qaeda in Syria. All these American deaths were for absolutely nothing. Just like in Vietnam. After Vietnam, as many years later as we are away from the first day in Afghanistan today, America understood what a war they started back then. It pushed out Vietnam movies that were almost all great. They drove tears into peoples eyes, made them swear "never again". And now look at us now. Look at the propaganda movies we do, look at the media and Hollywood helping keeping these wars alive. "Afghanistan was justified! We still need to stay there! You were all heroes! Assad is next!". Soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq died for nothing and are still killing themselves at home. Nothing. And now we are funding the people who they fought against, just because they are against Assad and Russia. Unbelievable. This movie is part of the problem.

I dont even know why I sat through this movie. I guess I hoped for more. Well, I dont want to make this too long, so here is the painful truth: Its just another PC infested movie, having to do nothing with reality or historical authenticity. The PC propaganda is so bad that at the end I felt like I just watched an old Wochenschau. Disgusting. And honestly I am really getting afraid of this trend. What the hell is going on with humanity right now? Its like were going backwards in history. Nobody learned from it.

I'm not quite sure how this movie is getting such high ratings from "professional critics". Its simply bad. Everything that is bad about this movie has already been stated by others and of course, if you have lately seen what Jennifer Laurence has said, you can't even take her seriously anymore. That alone destroys the whole movie.

I don't know why people criticize this movie so much. It is brilliant. Period! It explains so much from the previous movies, its super creepy and thrilling, and it actually makes you think. Even about our world now. Sure, it might not be Alien or Aliens, but it sure as hell is much better than Alien 3, Prometheus or Part 4. I loved how Scott made everything look modern, yet still retained the same style as in Alien or Aliens. Like the computers, the design of the ships, the sounds of the computers, even the mentality of the people were straight from the 70s or 80s. I really am excited for the next movie.

At the start already you ask yourself if you're watching the right movie. From there on it only goes downhill. It is such a depressing and sad movie, it literally hurts. To see these superheroes like that... ugh... The ending was just bad as well and stabbed your heart even deeper. They tried so hard to make a superheroes movie seem realistic, but then failed on many things. They also left many things unexplained. You're just getting thrown in in this "new world". If you really like Wolverine and the other characters depicted, you shouldn't watch this movie. Its just sad, as if the writer of the script wanted to kill himself. But I guess if you're depressed and want to see other people suffer, too, then this is the movie you will like.
