The Tomorrow War

Blockbuster movies are often as loud and action-based as The Tomorrow War, but they’re rarely as diverse in tone or so delightfully wild when it comes to in-your-face entertainment.

The Tomorrow War is a fun entry into the sci-fi/time travel genre, though the pieces never add up to something all that memorable.

The first hour of The Tomorrow War is really quite dumb fun. The second half pumps the brakes on the wacky sci-fi and just goes in for gross-out action.

The best thing in the movie is Pratt. Firmly established in not one but two franchises — Guardians of the Galaxy and the Jurassic Park reboot — he’s come a long way from Parks and Recreation. He alternates here between charming wise guy and sensitive family man: Peter Quill domesticated.

The Tomorrow War tries its hand at throwback ‘90s action glory, back when cinematic adventures could be everything for everybody. Instead, this post-apocalyptic combat flick lacks the intensity to reach the 1.21 gigawatts worth of power needed to emblazon our screens in escapist flair.

The supposedly original script from writer Zach Dean offers very little that’s innovative or inspired.

The Tomorrow War is betting its flash will blind us to its vacuity.

The movie is inspiring. You watch people who really don’t wanna fight, go and give their all. The ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the human race. And you get a hint in the family dynamics of the Link between love and valuing something Or someone so much. That you will do anything for the give anything for them. Beautiful movie that asks us to be better than we are and makes us want to say yes.

The writing of this movie is so dumb. The words are coming out of their mouths bit it makes no sense. it could have been so much more if it would't be so dumb. The CGI is top notch and the general idea is awesome. It lacks of good stroy telling and writing.

So this movie is getting a sequel, but not Live Die Repeat. Life is just not fair. Also, what a generic 'Hollywood' title. What's even more generic is that Chris Pratt's character is a family man who's saving the world because he loves his wife and daughter. I honestly want to see a movie where the action hero hates his family and goes on the mission just to get away from them.
