Parasite Eve II9
Jun 11, 2026
Gameplay is super unique and one of its kind. It combines survivor horror of resident evil and turn based atb of final fantasy while keeping your movement on the battlefield on real time. It also has three different endings has hidden events and items. And it also has crazy replay values from challenge mode to opening new weapon and armor from points of previous play. It also got decent puzzle. Game looks like a complete pack with decent challenge but friendly approach for beginner as well. Too bad sequels not on same level of production

Parasite Eve8
Jun 11, 2026
Graphics by today standart is not really aging well but of course we got magic of hd texture pack these days. Gameplay is quite unique, with the touch of atb final fantasy esque but combine with range and actively and controlable movement on the battlefield. Some frustating might come from the lack of map and sometimes the lack of clues and or instructions, classic for rpg elements of that era. But overall it still enjoyable till today.

Metroid Prime7
Jun 11, 2026
Graphics looks great and atmospheric is spot on. Gameplay actually pretty much still the same old metroid but first person view surely changes the experience. But sadly, the game truly design as if it still 2d metroid. Platforming as first person view is horrible, and of course the main problem of first person view, motion sickness. Although most of the time im not that sick but some nausea from time to time surely exist. Exploration for upgrade still so enjoyable and rewarding. But some bosses could be quite cheap cos the scan refuse to give you real hint, instead it give you vague hints. For me myself there are two frustating bosses and i dont appreciate the trickiness there.

Game is actually kinda good, with a very unique turn based battle mechanics. But character role is locked and story is super linear that it doesnt has any real replay value. But what drove me of so much is dreamcast version has better visual but it easily induced motion sickness while ps2 version has more stable fps that stop the motion sickness but it visually worse.

Persona 4 Golden7
Jun 11, 2026
People keep praising this one is suspiciously never played persona 3 before. Cos this game is basically same game with different skin. All core mechanic of the game still exactly the same. The battle mechanic, the life sim, time mechanic, to how the storg goes. So if you come here right after persona 3, damn its boring as heck

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable9
Jun 11, 2026
The first persona that use the now known high risk weakness exploit mechanics. The life sim also a perfect mechanics to break the boredom of grinding inside the dungeons. It has replay value cos the game is quite punishing on its social rank if you want to unlock the strongest persona in the end. And the crazy long fight of the final battle of the game is my only thing that keep this game into a ten

Jun 11, 2026
Lame, its a sandbox alright but still dont fix the boredom of open world. New mechanic for allies also nice but again, its only the more complete version of botw. And the hand mechanics is too tiring if only want to play the game and not building. Should be just dlc of botw. Cheap nintendo

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild7
Jun 11, 2026
The title that dragged me into nintendo switch and zelda. At first seems so astounding but after a couple of session, the magic start to vanish. Main reason is the repetitive nature of ubisoft open world formula where you enter new region to activate the tower then you got all sort of guiding icon, rinse and repeat. I actually dont mind the durability mechanic but dungeon is weak and the concept of getting all your ability from the first go is boring and uninspiring. Especially after tears of the kingdom, i feel cheated by nintendo cos botw should be that instead.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask9
Jun 11, 2026
Superbly replayable. Love how the routine that first introduced in oot really shining here. At first quite intimidating but if you are fine by learning and failing, the core mechanics of the game actually super fun. Limitation of the time is not even a problem in late game, collecting mask is superbly supported by notebook so it comfortly guided you. And also superbly rewarding cos it has unique abilities. The only one that allows you to reexperience a dungeon, you could planned your own boss rush. It is superb, the only flaw that makes it not ten is it has same control altho more polished than oot but same regardless.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998)5
Jun 11, 2026
Overly overrated. Control is clunky so do with its aiming. I dont care how revolutionary it was but its not aged well. World tries its best to have routine but majora did it better. Battle felt like a turn based, waiting for opening. I like the dungeons and secrets but theres too many inconsistency regarding logic and puzzles which i believe would be ignored by the hard fans simply cos they forget how frustating those all one when they were still first timer.
Overall its more of a torture than magical, and some flaw are so demanding. Story itself fall short once you see how the final battle is performed and how all the plot supposedly able to be thwarted easily.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap9
Jun 11, 2026
Its one of the best Zelda for me, from the graphics to the added gameplay mechanics. It of course still have that old zelda formula but with new added mechanic of growing and shrinking and also the disc mechanics, it turns the game into a super fun one. Not too mention exploring for secrets always rewarding and fun process. Some puzzle might confusing but its a puzzle not some crazy artificial difficult mini game.

Now this one is way better than fusion in terms of balance. The difficulty is just right even for those who never play metroid before. It still has difficulties here and there but nothing that overwhelmingly unhandled. As usual exploration is super rewarding with all upgrades items everywhere waiting to be found. There is a super mechanic that not explained ingame, shinespark, thats kinda ****, thats why this is not a ten.

Resident Evil 0: HD Remaster9
Jun 11, 2026
It is awesome and refreshing. Again challenging player with a new mechanics. A mechanics that going to be hated for those who doesnt like to think. The drop item anywhere mechanic could be intimidating but actually very easy to tracked through map. It is very realistic approach of survival horror game rather than having an interdimensional chest that somehow connected to each other anywhere anytime.
I love the entirety of the game except of one single boss fight. Other than that the game is perfect!

Graphics is good on gba standart oc. Gameplay is punishing but also satisfying. But also could be very toxic with how its hard but becos its that hard you keep coming back. Theres a lot of frustating part of the game but searching for secrets and exploring all the abilities are super fun.

Got love and hate realtionship with this game but hate is mostly principal based. It's to hate this revolutionary game. It got good action and long adventure but also too long that replaying seems unlikely long. And you know how annoying escort mission on any game and this game make it as part of the nightmare.
I hate it cos it open the way to resident evil action movie path that eventually brought them to confusion where all their established characters ended up becoming a superheroes.
But mercenaries mode on this game is super fun.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica9
Jun 6, 2026
It was the last resident evil that give vibe of their classic survivor horror formula. There's a few section of annoying gameplay here and there but forgiven by the atmospheric and the sense of true dread it brings. The game is also long for the classic formula, so its quite satisfying before leon ruins claire's hope once again

Resident Evil 67
Jun 6, 2026
Another that is good when played as a game buf not when you think of the franchise. It is good cos it offers you three different scenarion with three slightly different way to play. And on each scenario there are two person that we could choose that sometimes might change your gameplay slightly. Not enough on that game also gives a bonus scenario afterwards.
But game is cheap action movie filled with cheap action sequence that we already did in the past installments. And its contains some unnessecary nudity that ruin playing on the living room.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis9
Jun 6, 2026
The last good classic resident evil title before capcom decides they want to go full action movie. Although on this game we already could see that capcom wanted to go more actionny but reatrained by the limitation of the system.
Regardless this game has graphic on its time. Gameplay that is so interesting with evasion mechanics, and choosing branches of decision that gonna change where nemesis might shows up and also trigger some different scene altogether. Things that gone from the remake shamefully. Nemesis here is also a challenge with rewards. Epilogues and costumes collection make strong indication that game has replay value and dont forget of the great mercenary mode.

Resident Evil 56
Jun 6, 2026
It is fun to play but its just another generic shooter of ps3 era but with resident evil skin. It is fun to play as two players but kinda lost meaning when playing it as single player. So overall its fun when you only play the game but looking it as resident evil franchise is hurting the fun. Really hate the repetitive go into a room ir area fight enemies wave after waves, move on, reach the next room, and rinse and repeat.

Front Mission 310
Jun 6, 2026
The best place to play Front Mission 3. It got story branches that bring you to a small branches that decides who your allies gonna be to jump to entire different scenario. Gameplay is superbly addicting with how they tied skills with the wanzers made capturing enemy wanzers so satisfying. Skills combination are both simple and also quite deep. Replay value is not even a question. It could come from playing different scenario and choose different path on different playthrough. Not too mention customization on wanzer for either skills or simply strength.
Wanzers here got three obvious body types, standart, lean, and buff. Things that also got ignored by the remake. Its so sad that this game is totally destroyed by the remake

Great front mission game that emphises on team attack. It's like a dream come true if you like gang beating or firing squad ability back on front mission 3. Sadly, the way the skills are earn is too uninspiring. And replay value also a bit questionable cos abilities now tied with the pilots not the wanzers. But the game is still challenging and super fun, with story as good as usual.

Soul of the Samurai10
Jun 6, 2026
This game is perfect samurai game for ps1. It got graphics, gameplay, replay value, story, and astounding music and sfx. There are two scenario to play and both of them has replay value of its own. Control could be a little stiff or ackward but still way better when compared with a lot 3d games at that time. Parry is so satisfying so does with the skills. And you could also freely roaming the entire village/town for collecting stuffs as well

Wild ARMs 28
Jun 6, 2026
This is one of the best rpg on ps1 era. It is so unique with its wild west theme as well. Graphic is very decent on its time. Gameplay is so solid cos the balance between the battle, story, and puzzles. Story is also quite decent, there's also challenge bosses for near endgame. And the most unique are the weapons needs bullet to use and the mechanic to refuse random encounter battle.

The Legend of Dragoon8
Jun 6, 2026
It has great graphics on its time since it came out on final age of playstation 1. Gameplay is unique because of the battle mechanics. Which change how passive turn based battle usually are. There's a lot of character with different movesets and abilities. Story is awesome for those who loves medieval kinda sets married with high fantasy. And although i'm really keen on some of the musics cos it makes me sleepy sometimes and i hope the battle bgm is more spirited but at least it's nof annoying.
The low side is its quite grindy and meanwhile the battle mechanic is great for some, for others it could be intimidating. And there is not much of a replay value unless you missed a certain important items on the game and wants to get it on your second visits. So all in all its still a great game on ps1 library

Digimon World 38
Jun 6, 2026
A great addition to Digimon games. Although this time it copy a lot of pokemon formulas, i say this game does it better from any pokemon games. I dont want to believe it at first, but its crazy to see the professional critics are obviously paid by pokemon.
This game adapts the 1v1 battle but more fair with the speed and turn mechanic. Evolution is as usual branching as crazy as it could get. Aoa is basically team rocket written absolutely far better. To collecting badges that is more interesting than any pokemon games. Skill to swim and dig that is not like hm, not restricting your skills set.
Game has everything needed as a solid classic jrpg, from lvl up thaf gives point to train. To evolution that related to your lvl and your stats. Card mini game that got intergrated to the main game as well. To tamer fights that only initiate when you talk to tamer around the digital world so you pick your own pace. But sadly it means it also brings what classic jrpg frustating, the story progressions. Story progression is a bit annoying since the game usually wont give you clear instruction where to go, you need backtracking a lot. Which on positive side, helps with your level but annoying regardless. And training mechanic that totally depend on rng although you could trick it by reloading the game but it super annoying and somewhat punishing.
But overall evolution is satisfying, you could even hunt for getting another rookies, doing card tournament, auction, fishing, kicking the trees, hunting cardmon, defeating not main story bosses for legendary weapons. And it got two worlds to explore.
The bad side are training depends on rng, story progression could be time taxing, and the nightmarish maze of circuit board.

Digimon World10
Jun 6, 2026
This the first abd the best one. Simply because it got the guts to be different. Abd if you love adventure, you should love unpredictness. The game is fun to be played without any evolution guides and its even better with evo guides. I think this is the first game on ps1 that utilize building your main base. It is so satisfying to see your city growing, collecting clues to find more digimons, playing the mini games, involve in the tournaments, collecting skills and medals. It's perfect man, it just perfect. Again, no pokemon games could ever beat this level of excitement.

Digimon World 29
Jun 6, 2026
Dude the review from gameshark that said this game is worse than pokemon is absurd, i dont know what pokemon games they played but pokemon games are all sluggish as heck, they never innovate and their evolution is meaningless and boring. They are filled with microtransaction if you dont have friends. Story and premise are always a scam.
About this game, its great cos its the first game that allows you to have all digimons available ingame with only a few bosses digimons out of this criteria. But the ability to get what usually only enemy types digimon is so refreshing and exciting.
And although its true that the game is super slow, it still so rewarding, and the rewarding is certain (high recommended to find evolution guide for dv points to enjoy evolution to the fullest) unlike pokemon with no inheritance of skills and useless breeding. Evolution and fusion breeding here is so satisfying and rewarding that you could build custom digimon as you fuse them as you like.
And recruiting is more clear and honest than pokemon where they tricked you to think that the wiggling of the ball means anything toward the catching rate, here on this game you could see the catching rate through gift mechanics. And throwing gift mechanics also make catching and recruiting digimons more dynamic. Sure if you dont like to think, this game might not be for you. But for those who loves planning abd management then executes them, its so satisfying. No pokemon games ever beat this, that shows how bad pokemon games really are.

Oh its true what everyone said. It's a nightmare without the nightmare virus. Aiming system is not ready, point of view also horrible. Theres a lot of stages that i dont wanna go back ever again. Boss fight that could be great if theres a real auto lock become so ackward. The only redeemable is the fact that the sigma fight is not difficult. And whos idea to think that burn to the ground is such a good memory building.

Great looks, so refreshing to see ff7 world through different perspective. Not hating the actionny way the battle works but kinda nit so sure about the abilities. Most abilities are too good that it makes materia kinda questionable whether its still relevant or not to have such combinations. Cos most of the time i only used it as passive protection. It sad when i think of replay value, i dont think i could make cloud as free as on the original. And replaying the game is kinda hard since apparently theres a lot of section where its just a walking sim. I hope on thd third part, playing part is way nore bigger than cutscenes and walking sim. Cos here i feel like we watched as cutscene play for five minutes then its walking sim then another cutscene then another playing time.

But i understand its too expensive to make it that way. Therefore i urged to stop the graphic war man, its a game not a movie. It's good that it got a new and better look and also the nice but uneccessary va. But it basically the same gane as the original without any added good stuff other than more character slots.
Why not adding more jobs, an option to color costumization for characters, or simply a few more different sprite for each jobs. It is such missopportunity not giving this remake tifa sprite for monk or barret sprite for mediator. I'd rather got this addition that the plain almost all similar sounding va.
So meanwhile it's good since it works exactly as the original, it's bad cause it's not for the old fans. It's more for new geb player to know that this game exist at one point and here you go to play on your hd screen.

They changed the based design of the wanzers from having three types; standart balanced, slim, and buff to only one.
Shooting from the height doesnt add your accuracy, even worse enemy from below got better acc.
Stun and eject rate are too high that you dont even need to bother to learn some skills.
And for something that called itself a remake, none is changed. Not to the better only to worst. As the fan of the original, i feel insulted buying this game when it came out, really not worth it.
