Mega Man X8

After the mess of new ideas that was Mega Man X7, it's amazing that X8 can go back to the basics and seem completely fresh by not doing anything new.

If you loved "Mega Man X7" and thought it was one of the best action games of last year then Mega Man X8 will probably grant you eternal life.

The story's dry as a bone, but that's not what you're playing Mega Man for anyway. The only truly glaring flaw: there are some lame 3D shooter sections, and while they aren't as frustrating (or prolific) as those in X7, surmounting them will still test your patience more than your ability with a joypad.

Eliminates some of the annoyances of its predecessor. However, while that's all well and good, X8 can still often be an intensely frustrating game, and still isn't especially fun.

A fairly hard game that regularly borders on the frustrating.

Maybe our blue buddy needs to take a breather for a little while, replace his outdated circuitry, and make another run in a few years' time.

Tal vez no sea tan icónico como los juegos clásicos, pero hay que reconocer que es un juego excelente, el mejor de la saga en mucho tiempo, en historia no supera al x5 pero en todos los aspectos en general se queda en la cima tanto por su diseño de niveles, rejugabilidad, dificultad altísima pero no rota, mecánicas, etc. Lo único que no me agradó tanto es que los desbloqueables son muy costosos y requerirán varias partidas y constante farmeo para poder adquirirlos.

Mega Man X8 Improves and gets 2.5 right without using 3D which was a mistake for the franchise because Mega Man never could transition good enough into 3D due to rushed development at the time however Mega Man X8, fixes all the flaws that X7, majorly had aka the WORST gameplay ever despite that X8, is actually a solid game the flaws it has in the levels can be noticeable. For some weird reason in certain moments and also for some reason your health bar goes down so much when hit by a single hit from an enemy or boss X8, also had very great upgrades as you can have so many armors to choose from which doesn't make the game lock to only one armor but plenty. anyway, this was my full review on Mega Man X8 a better game than X6 and X7 could ever be anyway thanks for reading this review.

un juego mal valorado, sinceramente las cosas que tiene el juego ya no se siente la misma alegría, el niveleado esta bien la historia mejor, pero es un juego donde ya no se siente lo mismo que sentiamos con X1, X3 y X4, el tiempo mato a la saga y sepulto a esta franquicia hace ya 21 años...

Nonsensical, unnatural and laughable story accompanied with a gameplay that looks pretty but has lost all the previous essence. Mega Man is dead unless a total reboot.

I played this 3 times over to get one single item only to find out it doesn't appear after you've beaten all the mavericks. I haven't played any of the X games since.
