Resident Evil 6

If you were left wanting in RE5 there's a good chance RE6 will satisfy you. There's a reason you're being fired at, there are plenty of tense moments and stress, the storytelling is superb, and "zombies" make a return.

A somewhat bumpy, uneven ride perhaps, but one that entertains far more than disappoints.

An accomplished shooter on the whole, and a fittingly thunderous send-off for current gen Resident Evil. The next instalment needs to tighten the focus, deciding which ideas are worth sticking with, but this could be the definitive videogame blockbuster - huge, colourful and surprising.

Where RE6 truly shines is in the game mechanics and ancillary modes. Mercs is back and better than ever. When married with all of the new mechanics (quick-shotting, rolling, aiming while laying down, and more), Mercs becomes a much more action oriented experience, which enhances the enjoyment of it tenfold.

At the end of the day, Resident Evil 6 is packed to the gills with features and absolutely looks the part, no one can deny that, but its lack of gameplay identity leaves it as empty and vacuous as the higher brain function of any one of its zombie inhabitants.

Apparently no lessons were learned from that game, as Resident Evil 6 is a textbook example of too many cooks spoiling the broth; a jack of all trades but a master of none.

Yes, this is just like Raccoon City all over again: stilted, awkward, ridiculous, embarrassing, tedious. Except for the parts where it's like Call of Duty, which are equally stilted, awkward, ridiculous, embarrassing, and tedious, but with more NPC soldiers milling about. Resident Evil 6 is thoroughly oblivious to so many of the things that make a good game these days.

Joguei a versão PlayStation 3 onde fiz a platina muitos criticam Resident Evil 6 porém na minha opinião ele é um jogo com o patamar mais elevado de toda saga no quesito jogabilidade porém na narrativa fica devendo muito além de alguns momentos focar muito na ação.

As an action game? Great. As Resident Evil? A disaster. this game can't be called resident evil, but i like the game.

El peor videojuego de la saga. Si en la entrega anterior (RE5) la acción ya se había sobrepasado, en este lo llevaron a niveles extremos. Explosiones por todos lados, no había una "amenaza" como tal, tampoco gestión de recursos, por ende todo es disparos disparos, explosiones, disparos y más disparos. Lo único bueno es la convergencia en la historia de casi todos los personajes de la saga. Por lo demás, flojo en todos los aspectos.

Leans way too heavy into action. Leon's part is okay, everyone else's campaign is mid to terrible.
