This the first abd the best one. Simply because it got the guts to be different. Abd if you love adventure, you should love unpredictness. The game is fun to be played without any evolution guides and its even better with evo guides. I think this is the first game on ps1 that utilize building your main base. It is so satisfying to see your city growing, collecting clues to find more digimons, playing the mini games, involve in the tournaments, collecting skills and medals. It's perfect man, it just perfect. Again, no pokemon games could ever beat this level of excitement.

It took me 25 years to finally complete this game… but damn, it feels good.Digimon World on the original PlayStation is one of those rare games that stays with you — not for its story or graphics, but for its mystery and challenge. Finally seeing the full story after all these years was satisfying, though honestly, it’s good but not great. The real magic is still in the digi-evolution grind and taming your partner Digimon, which remains as punishing — and rewarding — as **** that I live in Japan, I’ve noticed details that completely flew past me as a 10-year-old. The forest’s bird calls are straight from Kyushu, and being able to finally read the Japanese signs around File City and the world adds a subtle but fun layer — even if most of them say exactly what you’d ****’s a tough, sometimes confusing game, but one that rewards patience and curiosity. I can’t recommend at least one playthrough enough — especially if you’re a fan of games that make you earn every bit of progress.Score: 8/10 for nostalgia

Such a amazing game, the format was great it’s a shame it wasn’t expanded on, this needs a reboot or remaster, it has a unique charm that a lot of the classic games have that isn’t replicated nowadays.

Digimon World is the best in the series in my opinion! Raising and battling with Digimon is pure childhood nostalgia. It's a must-play for Digimon fans - trust me, you won't want to put it down! :D
It's quite hard though, so prepare for some learning. But it pays of in the end.
PS: There is a bug in the pal version, but there are patched versions. Make sure to play one of them or the ntsc version!
