A good open world rpg heavely inspired by The Witcher 3 both in terms of general structure of the game and the general dark fantasy atmosphere which is part of the reason I loved it. The story is interesting and the combat system is easy to master and very satisfying once you get its rhythm. I have some issues with some parts of the general gameplay loop, like the secondary missions/activities feeling a bit uninspired and repetitive and the day/night cicles not having nearly enough impact as they should. Also the open world could feel a little empty at times. Overall it's a well done game and worth playing if you loved The Witcher

People are review bombing this giving it a 0 but overall the game is not broken or unplayable. The story is ok, the characters are kind of meh, the gameplay is too simple and the combat system consists of 2 buttons. Overall I'd say the game is barely a 6 but still fun if you're into superhero stuff

Somehow the open world is even worse than the base game, with entire areas that are completely useless or empty. The new bosses are cool in terms of design but only a few of them offer actually enjoyable and memorable fights. Also I finished the whole dlc in like 15 hours while completing the major NPCs quest lines and gathering all shadow tree fragments so it really shouldn't have been advertised as a 40+ hours expantion, but to be fair the base game was also set to be somewhat around 100+ hours long for all content and I finished it in half that time so I guess I shouldn't be surprised

If you liked the first Tormented Souls you should definetely check out this one too. It's a huge step up from the first game in terms of general quality, with more detailed envirorments and more various locations, expecially the very first area being much memorable and fun to navigate. The gameplay itself also saw some major improvements, with much more engaging combat encounters and fun boss fights. I also liked most of the puzzles in this one, but some of them still don't make a lot of sense to me. Story-wise it's ok I guess but I didn't care at all for any of it (and to be fair I didn' even care in the first game), but it's ok, this is not the type of game you play to enjoy a good story, so only gameplay/exploration/puzzle is more than enough to justify playing it in my opinion

For a game that praises itself so much for not giving you a map and letting you explore the world, the exploration is utterly linear and uninteresting and the game is always very explicit on what you have to do and where you have to go. Not having a map is only an inconvenience, not a challenge. Gameplay-wise the situation is probably even worse, with very scarse enemy variety and lack of engaging combat encounters. Story is ok I guess, but I don't play games for their story and this is certainly not a story game. I can't even say I'm disappointed cause the game already looked awful before buying it, but after giving it a shot I can firmly say that it is not worth your time

At first I thought this was an underrated game, but seeing the reviews I just realised it is actually OVERrated. It's a cool game and very fun to play, but the story is predictable not that interesting and the general progression feels off. It's the classic "mid" game that you might enjoy if you like this specific type of gameplay and the cyberpunk setting (which is fine btw, not every game has to be a masterpiece). I hate when games sacrifice the FUN in favour of a so-called "realism" that only makes them tedious, slow and generally boring. I can see the appeal for some people but this is not a game, it's a simulator. I couldn't care less about the story because I didn't play the first one so I tried it only for the role playing elements (which are really good) and the gameplay, which seemed cool at first but got boring pretty quickly. I'm sorry but as much as I would've loved to love it, I can't even give it a 6 because of how boring it is

I always thought that people were too harsh on the game, but after playing the original I now understand their complaints. Capcom really did Nemesis dirty in this one, while making Jill ridiculusly strong even for a RE game. Also the progression is way too linear and the replayability is given only by the fact that this is a fast-paced and much shorter game than the others. Overall this game is a good experience but also a frustrating one

On the surface this game is a classic jrpg with a great story and a great cast of characters, but in reality it is so much more than that. It was recommended to me after playing Expedition 33 and it matched all the expectations, bringing to the table mature themes and countless emotional scenes. The osts and the "novels" parts were particularly special too. Overall the game had its flaws but it managed to distinguish itself from other games in the genre so I have to give this one a 10/10

The game is ok I guess but it got boring after the 10th hour of doing the same thing over and over again. Also I don't find it "genre-defying" like most reviews said, it simply took some boring aspects from other games and made it its whole gameplay. It's a shame because the potential to do something great was there but it remained unexpressed for too long and I eventually got bored and dropped it. I can't really say anything about the story because I didn't finish it but from what I saw it seemed cool so that's a bonus point

After more than 7 years after its release I finally gave this game a fair shot because people were constantly recommending it and often comparing it to other great open world games like The Witcher 3. I'm sad to say that I really don't get why this game gets all this love and credit from its fans, nor the gta games to be honest. Story-wise it's painfully slow and not that interesting to me. Gameplay wise I find it a little too slow and also too realistic, I know that this is probably a hot take considering half the playstation fanboys don't play anything other than Sony slop but a game has to be FUN before it can even attempt to realism. Also, this game is "realistic" only in the bad things (like slow walks and long ass animations to do the most basic thing) because when it comes to realism in the "open" world it really feels soulless and empty, with very little to do aside from admire the view of the long expance of emptyness. At least it's pleasant to the eyes I guess After 10 hours of boredom I finally gave up and returned the game, I would not recommend this to anyone that values their time

As a lifelong fan of the resient evil franchise, I cannot begin to express how much this game meant for me, it's the perfect resident evil game and also the perfect ending to the series. It really felt like a "definitive experience" for the resident evil fans, bringing back some of the most loved aspects of every game in the serires and, more often than not, making it so much better. Story-wise it's fantastic, they managed to bring closure to the few loose ends to the story so far and also tell their own story. Gameplay-wise it is absolutely perfect, providing the perfect balance between the classic survival horror experience and the modern action horror experience. Aside from a few sections with Leon that were a little bit "over the top" (resident evil 6 style) I think his playstile better reflects the one we saw in re4 remake, while also keeping it fresh and new. If I had to find something I would have done differently, I'd say that a few more sections with Grace in the second half of the game would have benefited the overall pacing of the game, but at the same time I was happy playing Leon so I can't complain that much

I really wanted to love this game since I'm a big Yakuza fan, but despite my best efforts to just try and enjoy it, this game continuosly wastes my time with entire 2-3 hours chapters where there's nothing really going on. The story would have been so cool if they just cut it down to just 6-7 chapters and threw away all the useless parts. Gameplay wise it's fine I guess, but I'm not particularly fond of this new rpg style for the yakuza series either, gets boring pretty quickly when you can't take a step in the city without being harrased by some random thugs (in older yakuza games it was much more bearable since you could just punch them a few times instead of having to wait your turn). Overall the game is ok but far from the golden age of yakuza imo

I'm a big fan of the metal gear saga, but the original metal gear solid 3 is really too cutscene-heavy for my taste, and so is this remake. I also think that the extremely over the top scenes as well as some controversial scenes with EVA (if you know you know) belong to the 90s, if you want to remake a game like this you have to have the guts to make some aggiustments otherwise the game will inevitably feel awkward. I expecially disliked the scenes with Ocelot and Volgin. I don't know why but there's something about them that is too cartoonysh and it felt even more awkward with the high quality grafic and textures compared to the original release. Also the combat is definitely not at its peak: the buttons felt weird in some cases; the enemies spot literally from behind walls; the survival aspect of the game, which is presented in actions like eating and healing yourself, was never really a protagonist like it probably should have been. Of course there are some things that I loved, expecially the story and characters, but since they were not changed at all from the original release I don't know if I should even account for them or not since we're talking about the remake. To wrap things up, it was overall a good and solid experience (no pun intended), but I hope to see a different type of remake for metal gear solid 1 and 2, much like Capcom did with their resident evil remakes

I don't love the Telltale games and I've had a hard time undertanding how this type of slow-paced and decision-based style of gaming could ever fit a franchise like Batman. To put it simply, it cannot. This isn't even a waste of potential because the potential was never there in the first place, it's just a shallow story with soulless characters and "choices" that never make a real difference. The only redeeming quality is that shadow mode is artistically quite appealing but the fact that it was sold separately and not a free upgrade pissed me off. Don't waste your time and money on this

However in this one I found it much more bearable, maybe because the story was actually quite good and the way it unravels kind of justifies the player's choices not being so impactful.
