Star Wars Outlaws7
May 1, 2025
I didn't play the game when it was released due to time constraints, but I've now caught up within four **** me, the game does one thing really well. It captures the Star Wars atmosphere. Be it through small or large references, characters, appearances, the staging, or even just the sound. Star Wars Outlaws actually does everything right in this **** planets are cool, it looks beautiful in places, and the story is absolutely fine. I particularly liked the Syndicate **** open world, the side quests, and the gameplay could/should have been improved upon. The recurring climbing of yellow pipes, etc., is just lame. I also didn't particularly like the clear focus on stealth, although it often didn't matter much if you got caught (it was probably different at release). The combat with the blaster and various shooting mods was fun. You could also unlock a lot, and the speeder movement worked pretty well. However, I sometimes had to look more closely at the maps to understand where I needed to **** cartel system could have been expanded upon further, especially with proper and longer side quest lines and more direct and longer collaboration with individual middlemen/characters. By the end, I had all the cartels (except Pykes) on my side, which made it a bit **** in all, a really good Star Wars game, 7/10.

Phenomenally good. I really enjoyed the first game, but this one was on an extremely high level in terms of direction, narrative, and cinematography. Gameplay-wise, it's mostly just a simple progression through the narrative, but it's simply well done, and you know exactly what to expect from the gameplay. The "fights" were better but still very **** characters, the atmosphere, and the music were perfectly captured. It was everything I hoped for. A great experience.I played on the Series X and had no technical issues. What really bothered me, though, were the black bars. I just don't like that. Otherwise, graphically, it's an absolute stunning **** game was a bit short; it could have been longer for my **** in all, another great experience. 9/10.

I'm a big fan of the NRS campaigns, and here, too, you get to see another well-made film. Very cool productions, reminiscent of things like Endgame at times, and strong characters. I even had to laugh a few ****, the word timeline is used frequently and is overused, and the characters also switch sides more often than some people switch their underwear in a week, but I can overlook that. The Khaos Reign add-on was okay, sometimes funny, and the animations were finally a bit more brutal, but also weaker than the main campaign.I like the gameplay, although I'm just not good enough at the genre to tell whether it offers real improvements or is worse than its predecessors. I just beat the other player and that's it.Visually, it's great; there are no technical issues, and some of the stages, including the characters, look really **** tower and the invasions are fun, and there are a lot of things to unlock, plus there are some well-chosen DLC **** me it was a success 8/10.

I've now finished it after about 70 hours. I had a lot of fun with it, but I also have a few criticisms.Basically, the game does a lot of things right, but it lacks additional depth/complexity. The presentation of the areas is great, it looks very good graphically, and offers enough variety in terms of areas. There aren't huge worlds, but rather separate landscapes where everything is easily accessible on foot. However, there are areas where, structurally speaking, you don't immediately figure out how to get to a certain point.Gameplay-wise, the combat is extremely fun. I played the first half with a sword and shield, but it simply took too long to kill, so I switched to two one-handed weapons. By the end, I was a real powerhouse. But this is where I already have a weakness, and that is the variety. I basically found good weapons at the beginning and didn't change them again. I simply upgraded these two weapons; the upgrade materials, in particular, aren't particularly common. I hadn't fully upgraded my weapons by the end. The enemy variety also leaves a lot to be desired. You have your mushrooms, humanoids, and skeletons, and there's not much else. The fights can get a bit tough at times. The companion system also wasn't enough for me. They could/should have gone deeper with quests, romances, and **** story really grabbed me. I liked the lore surrounding the Living Lands. I also played Pillars I. It was well presented, and I listened to the dialogue with interest. There were a few interesting side quests and story quests, and the antagonists and interweaving kept me interested. Of course, there was also a lot of standard stuff (e.g., completing bounties or collecting items). By the end, though, I had completed many side quests, collected all the totems, and completed all the bounties, and was close to level **** skill system was okay. I can only speak for the melee fighter and would have liked more different active abilities. I especially used buffs frequently. I often played with the mages in a team, and their abilities were very **** in all, a nice game that still has room for improvement. If there's a second installment, some things could be made more complex and deeper. I give it an 8/10.

I finished it after 68 hours. After initial difficulties, the game got better and better and I even grew fond of almost all of the characters in some way. Towards the end, the game really picks up and culminates in a brilliant finale. In terms of story, I can hardly complain; the main quests and the character quests were interesting and had a nice structure. The same goes for some of the side plots.Beautiful areas are presented and my villain became more and more fun from level to level, typical role-playing game. In the end, I was almost **** dialogues, on the other hand, have their ups and downs; the childishness of the main character in particular bothered me from time to time. But it never completely took me away. The game had enough other **** terms of gameplay, I clearly missed the variety of enemies in the individual groups themselves and in general. They could have thought up completely different things in the boss fights in particular and unfortunately dragons always followed exactly the same pattern. Ranged enemies were sometimes a real pain, especially when there were a lot of them at once.I played with Bellara and Neve most of the time and didn't get them all to level 10. On the other hand, I was able to push the reputation all the way up and had a nice **** in all, I had a lot of fun. 8/10 Rooks.

30 hours of pure Indy atmosphere. From the characters to the film sequences, the story and the look of the game, this is really something special. The game grips you and lets you experience an Indy adventure of the highest order. The gameplay also fits perfectly. I'm not a stealth player but in the game it was so suitable that it was **** individual locations are beautifully designed and detailed and the story draws you in until the end.

After 30 hours I was done. In summary it can be said that, like its predecessor, it is a very good game. Starting with the characters and the story staging through to the gameplay and graphics. But the musical background and the underlined tonality of the game are also very good. Nevertheless, just like its predecessor, it didn't keep me consistently entertained. I kept putting the game aside and only picked it up again after a while. I also lack depth in this part when it comes to the setting and Loki is clearly better but was still very annoying, especially at the **** in all it may not be a masterpiece but you have to play it.8/10.

Dragon's Dogma 27
Mar 31, 2024
Dragons Dogma 2First of all, I haven't played the predecessor.Positive:- Gameplay was incredibly fun when it came to combat. Here you really get into a hunting frenzy and want to hit as many monsters as possible. Yes, the game is bulky and only partially takes you by the hand, but in many respects that didn't bother me at all; on the contrary, it was part of the charm of the game.- Boss fights, whether from Minotaur, Cyclops or Ogre to the big dragon, the fights are always fun. Especially when you have more and more character development and have leveled up and e.g. Even the griffin falls in a few minutes/seconds, a very satisfying feeling arises. I was happy about every bigger opponent, especially climbing on the opponents, especially the balancing act, for example. on a dragon was always exciting.- Classes: It's just great that you can switch between the individual classes so seamlessly. I tried a lot of things, but in the end I stuck with the thief because that was the best way to get into the rush. But distance with the bow, tank or 2-hour weapon were also fun.- Group gameplay: The AI is just awesome. I was often afraid, especially around cliffs or water, but most of the time it's okay. The highlights are clearly the high five at the end, catching yourself after a fall from a great height or the AI colleague throwing Captain America's shield. My Tank Pawn also always held all the attention and held up well. You really enjoy trying out different group constellations. Ended up with Thief, Mage (Support), Tank, 2h. But combinations like double magicians or with archers also worked wonderfully.- World: It invites you to explore, you can always store your things in the pawns and create entire loot marathons. There are some very nicely presented parts of the map. Graphically it's not really strong in many places, but in some places it blew me away.Negative:- the bulkiness doesn't only have good things, because I didn't really like the inventory management, many items just seem unnecessary, I've never used some potions with healing of status effects. It looked somehow ugly too. I always had to make sure that my weight was low. The amount of running wasn't even a problem, but combined with the endurance it was often an unnecessary cramp. It really annoyed me at times and also took away a bit of that flow and stretched out the game unnecessarily.- the world also has its dark sides. I'm clearly missing variety here. Basically there are 2 main regions with appendages, e.g. Cloud forest. I was simply hoping for more and with the carts or e.g. A lot of boat trips could have been integrated here.- Enemy variety is almost ridiculous. There aren't a lot of big enemies either, they're all highlights that don't get boring, but in a game where slaughtering monsters is a big part, that's weak. The smaller enemies are even worse, here you actually fight the same orcs, bandits and lizards all the time. That was far too little for me either.- Crafting is unfortunately only very superficial and has no depth whatsoever.- the story was so-so, to be honest, it wasn't really that exciting, although I have to say that that wasn't what mattered to me either. Conclusion:Since I enjoyed the fighting so much and the whole pawn system was really well integrated, I'm giving it a 7/10. Really good game that has potential.

Marvel's Spider-Man 210
Mar 18, 2024
Marvel's Spiderman 2' I don't need many words to describe how sensational this game was. The story, gameplay, presentation and technology were absolutely world class.I completed the game 100% after 27 hours and every second was a pleasure. Part 1 was close to perfection for me, but still had one or two design decisions, especially when it came to the side activities, that I didn't really like. Part 2 does everything right and better and my goodness did the game blow me away. Story: All the characters that appeared were simply great, I have to say that I found these hunting people a bit lame, but later on that was not only compensated for, but completely surpassed. The story missions were all interesting and beautifully staged, it was a real cinematic experience. The “real” antagonist is interesting and simply incredibly well presented. Also the side missions, e.g. around the flame, are very interesting. Something great awaits us there. Gameplay: Fabulous! First of all, the change between the Spidermans with all their abilities, the in-game progression, the side activities, e.g. Mysterio, the combo combat system all works really well and the synergies of the game's individual building blocks fit together wonderfully.Trashing opponents is incredibly fun, you can literally combine the various skills and gadgets into a frenzy and towards the end you feel like a spider god.Just getting around the city has become so awesome, I basically barely used the unlocked fast travel. Swinging, flying and racing through the city is so much **** boss fights that were there were also well staged, I would have liked one or two more, but that's just how it is when you can't get enough because it's so well **** MJ missions, which are still the weakest for me, are also significantly better than in the predecessor. They were really tiring there, but here MJ got some cool options with a new **** SUITS fabulous. What great suits you can unlock here, which are immediately integrated into the game. Presentation/graphics/atmosphere: Wow. In terms of staging, it's a bombast fireworks display. It runs as smoothly as butter, all the fights and cutscenes are presented phenomenally and you're constantly getting something on your ears left and right. But it also takes equally important quiet moments, e.g. in the amusement park to characterize the characters. The mix is perfect and everything is optimally set to music and underpinned musically. The lighting and weather effects also look really great. Conclusion: 10/10!!! A real gaming highlight for me.

Alan Wake II9
Mar 5, 2024
Alan Wake 2 After 21 hours I was through and I'm thrilled. First of all, it's cool that I found quite a lot of collectibles during normal play and also took home a lot of achievement points with 715 points. Presentation/graphics/atmosphere: Graphically, this is a real highlight. The mood that the game captures and wants to capture is 100% true. It is extremely atmospheric, you are always completely captivated by the game's visuals, the background noise and also the music. It takes you away in a positive way, I always had this horror-like, unpleasant feeling in some situations. The shadows alone, which often don't do anything, still oppress you again and again by continually repeating "Wake". The individual sections of the game are really phenomenally designed and invite you to explore.
Certain parts of the game are absolute highlights (e.g. Coffee World, Musical, Old People's Home). When it comes to the look and atmosphere, which starts right from the first minute of the game, I can't complain at all. Simply phenomenal. Gameplay: You can tell that Alan Wake 1 is significantly older than its successor, the gameplay has largely been adapted very well and I particularly found the Resident Evil-like inventory management very suitable. Backtracking is also easy by analyzing the map, but also satisfying. As usual, you only get some items later in the game and exploring previously closed passages is usually worthwhile. This dual gameplay with two characters was very well implemented. In Wake it took me a while to correctly classify the change of scenery, in Saga I really liked the detective game, although this could certainly have been expanded upon, e.g. alternative paths to the goal, different endings depending on how you complete your detective work, etc. It still felt very superficial, although the developers want to aim for a specific end to the story, possibly in a third part, and don't want to have different endings here . What I didn't fully understand, after playing through, there's something about "The Final Draft", I didn't google it, but I guess it's New Game Plus. Is there more to the original ending here? Back to the gameplay: Weapons feel good, the variety of enemies could have been more, I had only seen these water shadow creatures very rarely. The boss fights were okay, but some were a bit lame. The cutscenes, some of which were portrayed by real actors and scenes, were consistently highlights. I especially found Alice's actress extremely exciting and good. A certain scene in the loop on the late night show blew me away, it was absolutely fantastic, even my friend in the background said that it was crazy how video games can stage themselves these days. Creative, interesting and simply awesome. Some levels also have a really good horror atmosphere. Story: Traditionally, I don't say much about the story. The characters had me right away. I found the detective nature of Saga convincing, Wake is incredibly exciting and interesting. Other characters such as the mysterious Mr. Door, Baker, Thor and Odin etc. also complete the overall narrative ****'s exciting, interesting and extremely well staged. I also looked at all the manuscript pages I found, absorbed every cutscene and also watched the film material. The world building is delivered to the point and the connections to other Remedy games make the whole thing even better, this whole universe is simply exciting (Last year I played through Control with DLCS, this year I still have to finish Alan Wake 1 and Quantum Break) . The resolution at the end was interesting and leaves questions unanswered, there is room for speculation and I am extremely excited to see what happens next, whether in a DLC or in a part 3. Conclusion: The game turned out extremely well and was a lot of fun. Saga could have been immersed even further, the enemies could have been a little more unusual and different, but all in all a very strong 9/10 for me.

Atomic Heart6
Feb 7, 2024
After 15 hours I finished Atomic **** look of the game should be highlighted positively, it looks fantastic in places. The gameplay was also fun here and there, even if melee or ranged combat never felt particularly satisfying. I was missing a certain weight. The story was actually **** big problem was the characters and especially the protagonist. You couldn't identify with him at all and he was so annoying. It's unbelievable how you can write such dialogues and monologues. Neither funny nor interesting. In any case, it was a game with potential, but unfortunately it left a lot behind. The open world didn't motivate me to explore different places either. I also found the resource management a bit modest and I found the whole UI on the sex machine ugly. Unfortunately, I didn't find an option to mark resources on the map in order to farm something accordingly. I actually got most of it by dismantling it. The Boss fights were mostly nice and difficult, especially the last one. All in all okay but unfortunately not great. 6/10 Fat Boys.

Alan Wake Remastered8
Feb 5, 2024
Psychological action thriller in series format. I finally got to watch Alan Wake.First of all, a great game! The story was interesting and engaging. I found Chapter 4 the best.Visually atmospheric and also nice to look at in the remaster. You notice the age, especially in the **** gameplay requires you to get into it, but similar to Control, it's really fun once you get the hang of **** puzzle, enemy and level variety left a lot to be desired. It felt like I had walked the same path in the forest a thousand times, even though it made sense in terms of the story, it was already repetitive. What I found negative was Wake's stamina and the fact that you constantly lose your inventory. Presenting switches again and again as a solution to the puzzle or as a way to move forward was a bit **** a lot of fun overall 8/10 (4/5) nightmares.

Dead Island 27
Jan 28, 2024
After almost 18 hours I played through this zombie carving. I think chopping up zombies has never been better. It's unbelievable how powerfully you run through it and take your opponents apart. This part of the game was really outstanding. Technically it is also absolutely clean and looks **** story is absolutely fine and, apart from a few specific side quests, I mainly played that one. What I didn't like so much is the overall progression in the game. The cards made up for a lot. But I just don't like cards instead of skill trees or something similar. I focused on health recovery and dismantling damage. Despite all of this, I always had the feeling that I was being completely torn apart here, also because all the zombies are always leveling up. I never really felt overpowered. In the end I also had to grind and do side stuff in order to even be able to complete the story level, which was partly oneshotted. Jacob probably doesn't have the biggest health bar either and of course that was because I mainly concentrated on the story quests. I enjoyed using the upgrade system again and again and tried to take advantage of the zombies' weaknesses. But these creatures that eventually run away to heal were **** did annoy me at times, but overall you get a great, entertaining zombie game world. A thousand times better than Dying Light 2.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human5
Jan 16, 2024
I really had a lot of fun with part 1, this was more fun than fun.Graphically it is very disappointing, to begin with superficially. But the game world isn't really interesting either. I keep opening the same-looking backpack, the same-looking chest, the same-looking basket. I had much more expectations of the successor. There is hardly any variety of opponents. The factions are pretty **** terms of the story, I even found it better in some ways, but of course it's still not the best. What was really annoying was that for most of the main missions I was simply an electrician and nothing else. Always the same pattern, especially towards the **** boss fight at the end was so annoying, I can hardly put it into **** parkour gameplay basically kept me in the game because when it worked, it was fun. Combining one or two movements together works well, but unfortunately not always. It often happens that the character gets stuck in a stupid way, turns the wrong way and then you fall off too quickly, jump or something similar, some of which are probably my fault. But the “flow” was disrupted every now and then.Stamina is a huge problem, I probably should have put all my skills into it, but I also had the feeling that I couldn't handle **** worst thing and almost a reason for me to abandon the game was the time gameplay. A timer runs during the night and you die as soon as it ends. You can extend it with items or turn back time with mushrooms, but something else is fun for me.I went through with it anyway because that's what I always **** in all, just 5/10 Zombies.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor8
Jan 14, 2024
Another great Star Wars game from Respawn. I'll start with the negative, the open world was a bit overloaded for me and distracted too much from the story **** Kestis works best for me in a linear story adventure. Nevertheless, the gameplay was phenomenal again, it's just fun to experience progress, learn new things and, above all, you weren't completely at the beginning. The landscapes were breathtaking and pulled you into the great world of Star Wars.Cinematically and in terms of story presentation, it was to my liking. Some characters deserved more time, but it was great to meet some familiar characters.I'm really looking forward to part 3 and part 1 was the best so far for me. Star Wars offers so much and it's finally being used again.4/5 lightsabers.

Lies of P or one of the best softlike games I've played so far.Atmospheric, cinematic and level of difficulty it suits my taste **** gameplay takes some time to unfold, but then it immediately enchants you. Some of the bosses are really well staged and the individual areas are really **** is often the case, the story wasn't the main point, but that doesn't matter, it doesn't matter at Fromsoft either. But Fromsoft certainly has much better worldbuilding. But the makers of Lies of P have gotten off to a really good start here 8/10.

I still decided to quit the game. Took a total of 5 hours 33 minutes and collected all achievements except one. The game had made a really strong first impression, acceptable puzzles and an incredibly well staged setting. Disgust comes up here from time to time and the sci-fi horror touch had a cool look. Unfortunately, it fell far short when it came to the horror aspect, here it concentrated more on the disgusting moment. 2 acts have passed and the game has been playing in a good flow, but then comes act 3 (or was it 4, I can't remember) where more and more enemy "gameplay" comes into play. This is where I took my break because I just didn't enjoy running past the opponents. Weapon handling is so sluggish and imprecise, enemies deal immense damage and hit far better, I didn't need that aspect of the game. He even steered the game in a more negative direction at times, even for me. It had good staging, looks fantastic in places and some of the puzzles were okay, but they would have preferred to leave out the combat gameplay. All in all, you can take the game with you in its brevity and play it via the game pass, but horror fans in particular will be disappointed here and the gameplay can get on your nerves at times. It tells a bizarre and painful story, which is also rather confused. 6/10 blood presses.

Far Cry 67
Oct 23, 2022
After 44 hours and 410 Gamerscore I finished Far Cry 6. I have to say it took a really long time, although that's also classic Ubisoft for me. story I played the female Dani and I can say that I really liked her as a protagonist. The idea of the revolution was also conveyed quite well, although I have to say that in some places it drags on too much and the development of the revolution doesn't feel as organically told anymore. In terms of mission structure, it's more of a piecework of different factions lined up one after the other, with which you then set your revolution in motion, I would have wished for a better flow into each other here. On the other hand, I can say that there were some really blatant scenes that I wouldn't have believed Ubisoft capable of, it's more mature and these scenes are also really well done. The characters themselves, apart from a few exceptions, didn't "grow to my heart", especially this music group was a real cramp. gameplay You can try out many weapons, mod them and use various gadgets. In addition, brute action or quietly eliminating the opponent show you enough alternatives. Especially the interesting gadgets and the cool animal companions were fun. Unfortunately, the AI was pretty boring, sometimes stupid and there were always the same enemy types. I would have liked more variety, but you get that in some crossover quests. The Stranger Things or Machete Kills crossover was phenomenally well done and are absolute highlights in the game. Otherwise you have the typical Ubisoft gameplay formula, conquering bases, switching off bases, intercepting supply drops and much more. consists. You always have fun with it for a certain amount of time, and the puzzles in particular were pretty nice, but then it levels off and at some point it no longer motivates you. There were also a few weapon skins to be earned, but sometimes I would have liked the option of a third-person view. graphic It's okay, but it didn't blow me away. It looks too outdated for that. Ubisoft has to step it up a notch here, just normal opponents or passers-by don't look really good. It also has a washed-out look in some places. In terms of atmosphere, one had noticed a lot from Yara and the Yaraners, the idea of revolution was also shown and presented in many places. I just missed the WOW factor here. Conclusion I liked part 5 better, kinda hooked me more. Giancarlo Esposito had some cool moments, but that wasn't enough for me. Good game, typically Ubisoft and sometimes too long. Some faction sections stretch like chewing gum. 7/10 Yarans.

Halo Infinite8
Jul 2, 2022
After a total of 18 hours and a legendary level of difficulty, the end credits for the campaign were just running. My face was difficult at times, but I wanted it that way and I always have to play Legendary on Halo. First of all, I liked the game and the Master Chief got a worthy game. story Everything about the Master Chief, the Halo Ring and Cortana has always been fascinating. I really enjoyed the staging and story of the campaign and the whole thing was decorated with the great sci-fi trappings of the Halo universe. I liked all the characters that were introduced, only "the antagonist" was a bit flat. But I especially liked the pilot and the weapon in the interaction with the Master Chief. The chief himself was also more involved and sympathized with him. I'm excited to see how it goes from there. gameplay In terms of shooter technology, the thing runs buttery smooth again. Testing the different weapons and gadgets was a lot of fun and I really grew to love some of the weapons along the way. The many grenade options also give the player enough oomph. I also found the rather critically viewed open world to be integrated quite nicely and the activities have, even if you e.g. Knowing how to conquer bases, the gameplay made it a lot of fun. Especially the bounties were always a nice change. In addition, the interlocking of Open World and classic Halo tube levels worked well. The classic level designs can be found here very often. The new approach to bosses was also courageous, but I have to say that some fights quickly become boring, especially on Legendary. Boss has a shield eventually switches to melee and can onehit you. You then basically run in circles with the grappling hook the whole time and do a little enemy damage. That got tiring and frustrating at some point, even if I have to write the level of difficulty myself, of course. The gameplay design of the bosses could have been more innovative and e.g. to enable more interaction with the environment. Graphics/atmosphere/presentation Yes, graphically, there is a lot more. Unfortunately, the open world in particular, as well as it was integrated into the game for me, didn't look good enough. I was hoping for a variety of biomes, lush flora and fauna and unfortunately got little to none of it. Everything looked relatively dreary, even if there were always very nice areas in the open world. On the other hand, the indoor levels warmed my sci-fi heart. It all looked beautiful and just oozed atmosphere. Couple that with the wonderful music and you're in Halo heaven. The cutscenes were also consistently well staged. Some of the facial expressions were pretty weak though, especially Escharum just looked bad in some scenes, but the weapon sometimes had strange facial expressions as well. Conclusion I wanted the chief, I got the chief. There is definitely wasted potential there, but that can be made better in the next parts. The open world approach in particular must then be filled out better as far as the presentation is concerned. A little more diversity in boss fights, and a little more gadget relevance (the grappling hook consistently steals the show on Legendary). Total 8/10 halo rings. (4/5)

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales7
Jun 30, 2022
Entertaining, slowly starting and getting better at the end. story The story starts very slowly, which is problematic given the really short campaign time. The story about the underground and Krieger and his company didn't really grab me. It was a nice bonus, but nothing really knocks me out here. But towards the end it got better and better, so that when the credits went down I thought, now that it's going to be good, it's done. Too bad. Graphics/Presentation In places bombastic and very pretty to look at, especially the reflections and effects associated with the electricity. There were also WOW effects, the characters looked good and you could see different costumes and so on. There wasn't much room for improvement here compared to the part before. gameplay The new elements that come into play with Miles make the combo gameplay even more powerful and dynamic. It runs buttery smooth and is one of the great strengths of the part. Unfortunately, the excellent combat is paired with relatively lifeless combat areas. It's actually always the same principle: closed area where you have to eliminate a certain number of enemies. This is lined up several times and then the mission is complete. But it was nice that you had different tools available to eliminate the opponents, although not very many new things have been added here. Luckily there wasn't a lot of stealth, but a little more variety wouldn't have hurt, especially in the boss fights there could have been more. The fights that were there were staged very strongly and were a lot of fun. I tried and played through all the different activities and challenges, but it was just too much copy and paste from the other Spiderman for me. I didn't really like these side quests there. Otherwise you get more of Spiderman here. Conclusion If you liked Spiderman, you can't go wrong with Miles Morales. You basically get the same thing here with a different character and a few more weaknesses. In particular, the game unfortunately fell short of the campaign. Overall 7/10 spiders.

I freaking LOVE this Game. Its phenomenal and everything I wanted from Fromsoft. For a more in depth Review you can use my backlogged link: ****/u/filmanwalt/reviews/ A little Sneak: gameplay The heart at the end. a) Territories I could rave all day about the diversity of the individual areas. There is so much to explore. Caelid, decomposed by rot, Limgrave as an open landscape with many castles and towers, Liurnia with a grandiose academy or the beautiful city of Leyndell. This is just part of the many areas to explore. The areas are a big part of the incessantly generating motivation. It's unbelievable that Fromsoft managed to establish their level structure, the clear recognition value even in an open world that is so big. Despite the new world, you always feel at home and always try to compare some sections, places, etc. with previous parts or are reminded of them. The drawn map is a dream. You don't have question marks everywhere, but prominent spots on the map where you decide for yourself: something could be there. From the drawing, there could be something there. Most of the time you are simply rewarded for your curiosity and basically get useful things. Secret doors, at some point there are a lot of them, are simply part of it and I like this uncertainty that you always have at Fromsoft because you don't want to miss anything. You can always find something somewhere, whether it's backtracking or unlocking a shortcut. The top of it is that in the last few hours I've discovered so many more areas and because of that I've been able to kill a lot of bosses. Not only the boss kill but also finding an area gives you so much joy at Fromsoft. b) bosses Big or small, optional or story boss, I thought so many were terrific. Radahn, Malenia, just to name two really great fights, show what boss gameplay can do. I especially liked Malenia, who couldn't supplant my favorite boss, Sister Friede. Although it is now the undisputed boss with the most tries for me, that never spoiled the fight for me. I also liked the multitude of optional bosses. But the recycling bothered me a bit, especially e.g. the black cavalry riders, who were always ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL, was much too easy for me. The bosses, which then turn into trash mobs, are terrific and typically fromsoft, and they often made me sweat. The game is also getting more and more difficult, especially the last three areas are really tough. The game also gives you various options to act with different bosses (e.g. Mohg). Ultimately, the fat bosses also give you armor or weapons, and here too you have to make decisions and choose carefully. c) fight Whether magician, two-handed warrior or double katana samurai. There is so much possibility to change your character in Elden Ring, even during the game. I played with katanas for a long time, but also tried different weapons again and again. Later I even trained in faith and prepared myself with invocations before every fight. Halberds, fist weapons, daggers, swords, shields, bows, whips and much more. The Elden Ring arsenal is vast and only a small part of the greater whole. All weapons can be enhanced in various ways. Frost & Bleed? YES. Fire? YES flash? YES. Elden Ring gives you a kit and you can totally lose yourself in it in a positive way. Talismans replace the rings and only expand the hero's repertoire even more. There are also consumables and a crafting system. Especially the crafting shows Fromsoft's strength: If you read through here, if you look for the books together, then you will be given really important and good opportunities to strengthen your character. Gathering resources was never annoying, just well integrated. Each resource has its own look and at some point you also know what the item is that you collected there. It's not one size fits all, it doesn't all look the same. In addition to the possibility of PvE co-op NPCs or online partners, you can also summon different spirits. A great feature, but I only used it more often when clearing warehouses. For almost all bosses I personally left them out. Among them there are also really cool items with great figures. I finally used PvP and co-op a lot. I've helped people with Mohg so much because there were just so many runes for it, which gave me the opportunity to buy a lot of crafting stones to try out more weapons. PvP went much better than in the other parts (fewer lagging opponents) but there are already a lot of brutally strong meta builds here. I played with bleeding a lot. Conclusion 10/10 ELDEN LORDS. I love the game and it has climbed the Fromsoft throne for me. My beloved Dark Souls III has been supplanted and in my eyes it deserves Elden Ring. I had 107 hours (+15 with my magician) of constant fun, going through a lot of emotions and just a really good experience.

The Ascent6
Feb 3, 2022
11 hours and 675 gamerscore in a beautiful looking cyberpunk action roleplaying game with some gameplay flaws. story It's about a corporation "The Ascent Group" that basically controlled everything in a dystopian future and then it came to a collapse, from which factional fights for power and more arose. You yourself are basically a normal person who then struggles through mercenary work and tries to find out what happened to the large corporation or which threads are actually being pulled in the background. Most of the time I didn't actually understand much because I don't really pay too much attention to the story in this type of game either. But towards the end it clicked and everything was clearer and easier to understand. The story isn't particularly spectacular and I personally wasn't really interested in it from the beginning until shortly before the end. A German voice output would also have been nice, even though I have no problem with English at all, but if you only want to be enlightened by the background of the story, then a missing voice output in German makes it more demotivating. gameplay In a top-down action RPG, this should definitely be the heart and the shining core of the game. Sometimes it is, but sometimes it drove me insane. Cyberpunk setting, great and cool weapons, where you can try out a lot and also destructible environment objects. There are abilities and skill points to distribute in order to customize your character's play style. But I had some problems with the character progression in particular: I simply never felt really strong at any point in the game. I didn't notice that I've already completed quest and side quest xyz, distributed experience points and skills and became more and more powerful. On the contrary, I had to lower the difficulty level of the game at times and even had problems on Easy. Either I've fundamentally lost my skills here or didn't have or found certain skills and thus spoiled the fun of the game, which definitely comes up when you're in the flow. The opponents, who unfortunately respawn again and again, were sometimes so difficult and the menu jungle of augmentations, skills, abilities was not always transparent for me, I could never really say what exactly brings me something. I also found the "cover" gameplay rather obstructive and demotivating, because I don't want to hide in such an action RPG, but rather just shoot away masses of opponents. But there was clearly a lack of the possibility of constantly and reliably regaining life (apparently there is a lifesteal option, I haven't found it) in order to survive longer fights better. Especially when it comes to health objects, the loot for opponents could have been much more generous. Ultimately, I also have different skills, e.g. the life giver, not understood why this but not others, such as e.g. the mech, have such incredibly long cooldowns. I then just played through with the mech and a superhero jump, which worked much better. But the weakest thing for me was the map and all the WAY TOO LONG paths and that one is often not simply coordinated to the metro first. The map was sometimes not easy to understand and the metros were far behind quests. Paths that are then completely paved with waves of enemies that have been killed countless times and a character that runs so incredibly slowly. Why don't you get a bike or mech in the course of the game for faster bridging of the whole path? It would have fitted wonderfully and would have been cool on top of that. You should have been a bit careful when driving, because there is already a lot going on in the world! Even if there is a lot of **** in the gameplay, it was still okay overall. Graphics/Presentation/Bugs The graphics, presentation and atmosphere just blew me away. This looks phenomenal from front to back and is optimally implemented, especially in the cyberpunk setting. The lighting effects, reflections, everything around it in individual sections of the city, the stacking of the city levels on top of each other or the effects in combat were made with a lot of love and a lot of development time was certainly spent here. The world that has been created is really very pretty to look at and you keep getting lost in it and marveling at the splendor of it all. I really have to say, even though this aspect of games isn't the most important thing to me, The Ascent graphics etc. let me go through with the game in some annoyed moments. Conclusion Long story short: The Ascent does some things right, is impressive for an indie developer and unfortunately weakens in the core area of the gameplay. Nonetheless, a recommended game and not very long either, 6/10 medipacks.

Death's Door8
Jan 29, 2022
Slicing through enemies and bosses with a crow and a Sith-worthy red sword was a lot of fun. I finished the game after about 8 hours (longer than I thought) and actually got through quite well. story Deaths Door is an action-adventure from the "bird" perspective. As a soul harvester, you have the task of collecting a wide variety of souls for an authority that is in an afterlife state and is intended to ensure order, and you encounter a wide variety of orders. It all starts very easy and increases over time from time to time. There are a few boss fights and also individual mid-bosses that give you the necessary souls to progress further and uncover the whole story about the Lord of the Doors as head of the authority and the soul authority itself. All this is nothing special in terms of story, but has its nice moments (e.g. when life and death are talked about as part of life) and was sufficient as a background. gameplay You start with a sword that looks like a lightsaber, bow and arrow. Gradually you unlock more and more skills and also have the opportunity to improve your skills or strength etc. by farming souls from opponents. There are several areas where you can learn new skills after the boss fight (e.g. bomb throwing). The areas are also structured in such a way that in some passages you only get there later, since backtracking through newly learned is part of the game. I sometimes had problems finding my way quickly without a map, but in the end I always found the way and was able to remember relatively well where I wanted to go again later. Combat-wise the game is classic attack, dodge and try to get as far as you can plant life seeds in a pot which then acts as a health recharge station. The boss fights themselves were actually relatively eazy but also visually cool. I especially liked the fight against the frog prince. I would have wished for more intermediate bosses here, which were relatively rare. But it was nice that you were sometimes rewarded with optional bosses for searching off the path or with shrine crystals, which e.g. can increase health. Unfortunately I only found 3/4 on my way. The backtracking was motivating overall and slicing through the individual opponents was always fun anyway. Here, too, more variance in the opponents would have been desirable (e.g. more different types of magicians). You could also implement more skills here in another game. The final boss fight was a bit tighter, but it was more because I messed up the chain function more than once. In addition to various abilities, you can also unlock weapons, which all looked cool and had their own playstyle. presentation The game is very pretty to look at, has great melodies in the background and overall feels absolutely smooth. A suitable atmosphere, a lot to discover in the areas and different worlds in terms of style. I have nothing to complain about here and didn't have any bugs, glitches or other graphic errors. Conclusion I had a lot of fun with Deaths Door and can only recommend it. The game is currently in Gamepass, which is how I played it. 8/10 crows.

Charming and short Gamepass game. It took me 4 hours to play the game and I enjoyed the title throughout. It is not intoxicating but very pleasant to play and really chilled. Great melodies, nice and personable style and a good setting by Rani and Becks. Both characters work well together and the rest of the world is also nicely presented, the alien language sounds really cool. It could have been harder in a few places, had a bit more variety in enemies and gameplay, and was a bit trickier overall. Backtracking could also have been incorporated here. I could always get rid of the dirt now. The base is right, 6/10 smudge blisters.

Control: Ultimate Edition9
Jan 9, 2022
18 hours and 995 gamerscore. Finished with the Ultimate Edition of Control (including the two DLC The Foundation and A.W.E.) and I'm really fascinated by the art design, the gameplay and the completely surreal story. A great title from Remedy. Played on Xbox Series X. story Crazy from start to finish, even the credits were crazy. I didn't understand a lot and would have liked to have had an AHA moment, but basically it always motivated me to keep going because it was damn exciting and thrilling, even if I didn't understand much. I always wanted to keep progressing and see what comes next. I really liked Jesse Faden as the protagonist and not only did the main quests encourage play, the side quests were also sometimes really cool. I haven't always read everything, but even here I tried to get as much information as possible. The authority, the director, the hissing and everything around it was nicely set up and is a great world to immerse yourself in. The two DLC were also heavily staged, as was the main game, through various dialogues, cutscenes, creative gameplay and story links, etc. Gameplay For me the shining star in the game. Nice crisp combat game play with various weapons, linked with the telekinetic skills of Jesse and many upgrade and skill options (especially when it comes to skills, throwing three objects at the same time is really awesome). Again and again tearing out all sorts of objects in the area or parts of the wall and hurling them at opponents was really satisfying and I never got too boring. But also the possible interaction with the environment and simply destroying or blowing up everything was nothing but fun! Gathering resources and looking beyond the normal path was never boring and also had a lot of influence on the upgrade options. Just Jesse's move to open a chest was never boring. In the DLC there was also a little different gameplay and you could also call colleagues to destroy objects to unlock paths or to create new paths. Only with the boss fights could they have come up with a little more (for the main quests). The side missions feature cool fights, where you are rewarded for finding or completing the quest, or in the Foundation DLC. Atmosphere / graphics Pure excitement, creativity in design and a cool office building. It was graphically consistent and fitted in well with the overall look. The constant whispering or any noises only add positively to the mood. The characters actually look pretty good, unfortunately the facial expressions are sometimes really bad. The music, especially in two specific moments (the main game and a side quest Foundation DLC), was inserted just right. Conclusion A really good game. If someone only has it in the backlog so far, I advise you to start right away. Really great, with a few small weaknesses, sometimes it dragged a little, but for me it deserved 9/10 hissing beings.

Dead Space (2008)8
Oct 28, 2021
Yeah..first time! Approx. 9 hours and 515 gamerscore. Dead Space was quite fun, demanding and very atmospheric. story Everything about the marker, the creatures and what was going on on the ship has continuously encouraged us to keep going. The whole thing was accompanied by audiologs, files for reading and a few communications with ship members. I was entertained, the "twist" at the end was good but not necessarily surprising. You know it, you shouldn't trust anyone in the game anyway. The characterization of Isaac was interesting enough to give the main character enough profile, although you are really only in your armor all the time and I will definitely play part 2 and 3 (when, exactly, I don't know). All in all, it was told in a neat and structured way. The only thing that was annoying was that I had to fix everything over and over again, basically doing the work for everyone (even if there was only one button to press), but it suited my figure. Gameplay Very nice that you could upgrade your weapons and equipment, although I didn't even begin to find enough knots. Also, the ingame money wasn't just useless stuff to keep, it was really needed for ammunition and suit upgrades. I often find it in games that I hardly use the ingame money. The opponent diversity was extremely strong and surprising, there are all sorts of different and also very challenging aliens. Removing the critters' legs or arms over and over again was very cool and also had a certain tactical depth. In some sections of a section you could at least keep some of the opponents at a distance so that you could take care of others. The individual weapons were also very different, even if I mainly used the plasma cutter and this sawthrower. I found the sound of the guns rather unsatisfactory, but the plasma cutter was nice and hearty. Also the repetitive mentioned above, fix here fix there, was a bit boring. Moving this platform over and over again in the last mission was not so firm. For this, the boss was made cool but relatively easy. the atmosphere A bit older in terms of graphics, of course, but the remake will certainly help. Still, Dead Space creates an incredible atmosphere on this alien infested ship. In its narrow corridors, the creatures wandering around in the air shafts, the play of light and the music, the staging is probably the greatest strength. You very often get goose bumps and have to get out of very difficult situations one or the other time. The sections of the ship just look really good and the game breathes sci-fi horror. Conclusion Great game and, despite its age, still absolutely recommendable. A game that you should have played and therefore more than 8/10 crawling aliens.

The commander's journey ends. Shepard has accompanied me for a long time and again and again. With part 3, the trilogy comes to a worthy end for me! story The reaper threat has arrived, after you could still prevent entry in the Arrival DLC in Mass Effect 2, the galaxy-wide threat has now arrived. And this feeling of doom runs through the entire game, it puts you in a position to make every possible effort to take down the Reaper. This very action-packed and warlike scenario is staged by breathtakingly good missions. It's about the solution of ancient conflicts, the alliance of the individual species ... the creation of a common armed force to prevent the destruction by the Reaper. Bioware has told a very exciting story, which in the end leads to a door 1, 2 or 3 decision, but personally I am compliant with the selectable outcomes. Only the representation, albeit understandable, of the last part of the anti-reaper weapon takes a lot of getting used to (catalyst). Once again, very strong dialogues are created that really take your breath away (Tali and Legion, Liara, Javik DLC, etc.). The bond with the characters is only strengthened and you just have the feeling of fighting for something together. Gameplay The best gameplay in the trilogy. Very strong combo game play, many different skills and occasional skill options. A lot of weapons, mods and upgrades as well as some armor are fun for every tinkerer. It could have been deeper, but that was enough for me. The shooting around of biotic abilities combined with the very well-functioning squad game play is always new fun. There are also a lot of missions, although unfortunately a few of the side missions are limited to pure scanning. Here I would have liked more staging. The constant growth of the war assets makes it clear again in which position the galaxy is and must be in order to exist. graphic Atmospherically, musically, and staged simply breathtakingly. The many cut scenes in the last mission alone still give you massive goosebumps. Conclusion It is very important to play DLC again. The Citadel DLC in particular is one of the best DLC that has ever existed. But Leviathan is also very instructive. One can only thank Bioware for this trip! 10/10 crew members.

Mass Effect 210

Mass Effect 2 is my favorite part of the trilogy, which shines with breathtakingly well-written characters and a strong continuation of the story. story The narration of the story is very round and starts right away with a loud bang. In the very first round you just think: "What are you doing to us here". In the course of the game, the story is spun and told in a very exciting way, which then culminates in the last mission. The characters, regardless of whether they are new or old, get a lot of substance through their own loyalty missions and many well-written dialogues and you develop or develop a strong bond with the individual characters. The threat from the collectors, and therefore in the background from the reaper, with the harbinger as a spearhead is very well thought out and clever and the danger grows more and more as the game progresses. Gameplay Mass Effect 2 has seen some gameplay improvements which make the game feel more dynamic (reloading and ammo). It has become an action-packed cover game with very good-sounding weapon sounds. In general, the music is again very atmospheric and appropriate. There are many missions that don't seem trivial, but have hands and feet and the resource gameplay has been made more pleasant than in Part 1. Only I would have liked more role-play, especially the skill trees are very rudimentary and offer no opportunity for experimentation. Graphics / atmosphere You just get more of the very strong staging, the very atmospheric sci-fi setting and the picturesque music. In the Legendary Edition, everything is polished again to a high gloss. Conclusion For me the best Mass Effect 10/10 stars! The DLC are ABSOLUTELY recommended, outstanding.

Very interesting "horror" story Game to play in KOOP. The Multiplayer part is very well integrated and the Game is all in all a good one. The Gameplay is very simple but its more about your decisions in certain situations. The main thing horror isnt really that good, mostly these parts are jump scares, but you never feel very frightened. The facial expressions are sometimes way over the top and some graphic issues coming along. Sad is that the game is very short and u cant really connect to the characters.

That was nice. Atmospheric puzzle adventure with a horror setting that was a bit lame in terms of gameplay, even if some elements (stealth, JumpNRun) were packed. I liked the presentation, the look and the atmosphere. Sometimes there were really cool pictures and this depicted perversion stuffing everything into itself, coupled with the soundscape, were already uncomfortable. These fat figures in particular looked threatening due to the differences in size. In addition, it was a bit too short for me (3 hours approx.), I didn't understand much story-wise and the gameplay, especially the "puzzles", were pretty simple. In the end I got pretty stuck because I didn't see the key in the broken pieces: D. You can definitely take it with you, but it didn't knock me out of my socks 6/10 nightmares. After a good 30 hours I was done with my first roguelike game. I can already say that I was very happy, but that I had some technical problems after the first patch. story Selene and her trauma in the endless loop. It is just experiencing a trauma, which can be recognized as the core in the game but is told in a very diffuse way. This is paired with a few scary moments and the whole sci-fi setting and all in all it's nice accessories, but doesn't knock me off my feet now. I would have wished for a lot more story input and a narrative that was easier to follow. Basically, you are constantly thrown at Cutscene nibbles, the composition of which is not easy to create an overall picture. I would recommend playing after the credits to get a little more input (although I would have liked a clearer picture here too, but I think I understood the whole thing). graphic The look of the game is phenomenally good. The individual biomes of the planet are very nicely chosen, different enough for me and just look good. I would have wished for more around it in the individual areas of an area (e.g. events in the background), but the opponents are also pretty cool to look at. In general, the game is a firework of effects, colorful and sometimes incredibly overloaded (in a positive sense). The third boss alone was fabulous in terms of presentation. Otherwise, the game also impresses in its video sequences with a good look and the performance, it ran 95% buttery smooth, which is amazing for such a bombardment of effects. I only had a few places where the FPS kept dropping, but that was always short-lived and not really important. Gameplay I've never played a roguelike before and was amazed how much fun it CAN be. Basically, I found it very good that you lose almost your entire progress with one death. The lack of an autosave didn't bother me either, although you can say that it always kept the pressure on to keep playing. But you can clearly see from run to run that you will achieve a real progress in your own gameplay better and it feels so awesome when you have worked out a good starting position for further progress, e.g. a boss fight, in-game. It is absolutely possible to develop an overpowering Selene, which also leads to a point of criticism for me. I had a few runs in which, despite having earned a lot of artifacts, mods, etc., I just wasn't lucky. For example, for the entire course of the game towards the end of the game I had no skills that steal my life or only very rarely got the drop. I don't like this RNG aspect that much, but with every progress that you make you also have the chance of more different items that are sometimes more sometimes less good. There are artifacts, as passive armor improvements, mods for the weapons, for which I only understood in the course of the game how important it is to level them. In addition, there are also consumer goods (one-time usable improvements, e.g. a healing potion) and parasites that were very cool in terms of the idea (high risk / high reward), but were often far too bad in the positive effects. Unfortunately, the parasites never felt really worthwhile, which I think is a shame. The weapons at the heart of the combat system were pretty cool, but there were some that I found way too bad and weren't any fun at all. I moved around with the same guns quite often or tried to get hold of them, but I also noticed that some guns get really cool that I didn't like at the beginning. An example would be the shotgun which really floods in with increasing modifications (even at a distance). The game also has Metroidvania aspects that really come into their own in the After Credits round and make you just happy. By the time the game was over, I didn't understand how to turn off the orange barriers. The whole thing is rounded off with very, very cool boss fights, which, as already mentioned, have an incredible visual power and staging and also feel a little soul-like and can be really difficult. BUT: There is something that excited me incredibly and certainly led to a different rating. After the first patch, I started a glitch festival. I actually didn't have a game session where the doors couldn't be opened 1-2 times or some other glitches occurred. Coupled with the roguelike gameplay, this is of course an absolute death knell. At no point in time was I sure whether my run, which had been painstakingly prepared, would still exist after the next area. Accordingly, this repeatedly led to totally unnecessary and painful restarting of cycles. I wanted to ignore the game for now, but I had a lot of fun with it. In addition, I had very often and e.g. also with the final boss the sound error, which is incredibly annoying, especially when streaming, when the sound is so distorted and basically hurts in the ears. For the recording, too, you had to mute places again and again. Conclusion Good Game, with some technical flaws 8/10.

Good horror story game from Bloober Team, which I played through in 5 hours. For me, a very atmospheric, creative horror experience, in which almost every Jumpscare caught me. I'm not really vulnerable at all, but I didn't stand a chance in this game. In addition, there is constant discomfort, always goose bumps, really well done. In terms of gameplay, it's just quite lame, but you know that from these games, so I had no problem with it. I just enjoyed the completely crazy staging and let the atmosphere patter down on me. The story about the artist's story and what was happening in the house was interesting enough and added to the overall picture. What I did not understand at all, whether the woman kills you if you get too close or not. At least it always put you at a different point, so that I always avoided the howling. Sometimes it felt like a "chase" but never really put it into perspective. That irritated me rather a bit than it would have driven the atmosphere forward in a profitable way. The music and the sound in general were also perfectly integrated. Conclusion The look is very unique, creative and atmospheric, mixed with a good sound and a solid story. The game doesn't completely knock me off my feet (I thought The Medium was better overall, but you have to keep in mind that Layers was also released a lot earlier), but it clearly surprised me in a very positive way. Entertaining but making full use of the time, for me there are 8/10 paintings.

A charmingly trashy horror run-through with a few decisions that unfortunately didn't lead to a "No Death Run" for me. story The experience around this villa on the mountain and the reunion of this group after the terrible event with the two sisters was very suitable as a basis. Is just this typical horror scenario. Underneath, a myth that came true in the game is packed, which I always like very much anyway. The characters all had their roles and were different enough, although sometimes I lacked the hysteria given the situation everyone was in. Various crazy things happened and again and again you dealt with it fairly easily (but there were also downright screamers). Certainly there were characters that annoyed me a lot (Emily), but I still wanted to keep everyone alive. Basically I was satisfied with my decisions, unfortunately the LAST decision caused a triple kill, which I couldn't understand at all at the moment, because 3 people stood together and only one of them ran out, while the other two simply stop and die . Only Mike's death was the one I expected. What bothered me a little was that it was basically very predictable. In terms of dialogue, it was okay, but on the trashy level. But some scenes were really good. Graphics / performance The game ran smoothly on the Ps5 and honestly still looks very good. Very nice character models, the atmosphere generated around the mountain, the different impressions of the area, it all looked pretty cool. I was a bit amazed at how good the game still looks. The characters' facial expressions were usually very well done and Josh in particular had good "acting" moments. Gameplay Typical gameplay for this type of game. Do a lot of walking simulator and look for clues and make fateful decisions. I wouldn't play such interactive "films" all the time, but you can throw in such an offshoot every now and then. The Quicktime events were pretty forgiving, only very few hadn't managed to do it, but only those that you could simply do again. In retrospect, I absolutely could not say which decisions led to the triple kill, which is a shame, here I am missing a decent summary, such as e.g. after each level in Detroit: Become Human. I didn't really know what to do with these butterfly scenarios. Everyone lived with me until the last decision. The controls were a bit fiddly in some corners, the characters got stuck on an edge every now and then, it wasn't a big deal, but it bothered me a bit. Conclusion I had fun with the game, it wasn't really scary, but I had a few goose bumps and, funny enough, one or the other jumpscare even caught me (I'm relatively immune to it). With 8/10 trashy dialogues, the game is very well served and I'm rather astonished that the developers with the Dark Pictures Anthology: Men of Medan and Little Hope have declined so much in comparison (for me). Except for the missing co-op aspect, Until Dawn is clearly superior.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate9

First of all, you can say that I'm not at home in this genre and that I'm rather bad in terms of gameplay. I am only evaluating the campaign + DLC on the medium level of difficulty. It took me about 8 hours for all the chapters. story I'm a pretty big fan of the Netherrealm campaigns. I played Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2 and had a lot of fun with the campaign, Injustice 2 in particular was great. For me, Mortal Kombat 11 is the best so far. The cinematic representation is terrific, you are basically watching a film. The cut scenes just look really cool. I'm not very knowledgeable about Mortal Kombat Lore, but the division of chapters makes it easy to follow what is happening, even if there are extremely many characters that I could hardly assign (some faces I knew from the previous one, but nothing more ). For me the story was very exciting, not surprising, but still great to watch. Partly it reminded me of Avengers. All characters are interesting and well chosen and Netherrealm presents a well-rounded package here. I always wanted to keep playing and would have loved to have been able to play for a few more hours. Graphics / glitches / performance The game looks great. It starts with the characters and ends with the individual locations. Partly an effect fireworks that seem to have been produced very elaborately. But there are also negative features, e.g. the dynamic transitions from the cut scene to the actual "fight" were unclean, here I had very brief stutters (could have something to do with the different FPS? I don't know). But what bothered me a bit was that I kept having sound dropouts or the sound had become desynchronized. I played in Series X and these sound failures kept getting me out of it. Fortunately, overall this was not always the case. The depicted brutality is typical of a franchise and was sometimes really violent. Gameplay As I said, I am not a connoisseur of the genre and can therefore not judge at all how the flogger compares. But I liked it a lot and I took a little bit with me from the predecessor or Injustice 2. Fatalities and everything else are sometimes disgustingly brutal, but that's the hallmark of it all. I had hardly any difficulties on "Medium" and only needed 3 attempts at the final boss. But it is incredibly motivating to create combo chains, it makes a lot of fun and I could imagine going further into it. Conclusion Basically I hardly had anything to complain about and had a lot of fun for 8 hours. Literally great cinema! For me 9/10 fatalities. But there is no applause! To be honest, I could also envision a Triple AAA "Open World" fighting game.

The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos6

Detective quests made really cool, but nothing more. The outcome is not surprising, the area is actually pretty cool, but there is again a lack of real innovations. No new weapons, cool equipment or diverse opponents. There is also no new team member and basically nothing can be done in the Penthouse Suite. The dialogues are strong again, but I just expected that. Now in the second DLC I was hoping for a lot more in terms of gameplay. The discrepancy amplifier was annoying. Furthermore, I had to pause the game due to technical problems. You couldn't save until the last patch without crashing the game. The DLC also has texture reloaders or FPS drops (played on the Series X). Now with the newest Update the hard crash bug is fixed (09.04.2021). Took me about 6 hours and would give 6/10 murder suspects.

More of something that I found pretty awesome. I already celebrated the main game (8/10), even if it had problems. The first DLC has a nice series of quests that I completed in 6 hours. I liked the clasp at the end - keyword toggle with the drink - but it wasn't outstanding either, it was simply good. I had a few laughs again and for that I love the game anyway. Some dialogues are just very well written. In terms of gameplay, there is a new planet that looks okay, but the graphics are just not that great. Unfortunately, there were no new weapons or new skills, because you could have offered a lot more depth. Armaments are also neglected. Well, there could have been a little more, but with 7/10 active ingredients my fun is shown quite well. But I'm expecting more from the next DLC!
