I never find myself enjoying these games. That things are made difficult just to be difficult is one thing, but the overly mechanical feel in these fromsoft games are not for me. And that you dont have any live story to follow through the dreadful and 100% charmless world is for me not worth to die over and over again for.
A remarkable game from 2009 that is perfect for its time in my book. Fantastic from start to finish in every way. The groundbreaking gameplay, great story, music, perfect voicecast for awesome characters and brooding excitement is amazing!
A step down from the first two in the trilogy.
Very predictable story, and too much Batmobile use that also copy-pastes some boss segments and have many other chores.
The gameplay itself its stellar, but lacks cool bossfights and even the scarier/intense segments that Asylum and City has.
After the recent updates, I have to adjust the score up 2 notches from what I originally thought of this game. The third person gameplay makes it all so much better out in the open wild of the immersive and detailed Pandora. It is many ways to tackle situations and harvesting of crafting/cooking components in this game, if you watch the surroundings and the well crafted hunters guide. This game provides extremely dense and intense situations, as well as beautiful and calm moments in almost a unique way in both air and on the ground. The Ikran gives so many cool possibilities an moments.
The dlc's also provides new gear and skills to the Ikran, and the horse riding, wich is nice. And new branching story that gives more to the narrative in this (now) awesome game.
In my opinion the very best Assassin's Creed to date, with a gripping story and fantastic setting in old Egypt. So much fun and variation all the way, in every aspect of the game. The two expansions to this game is also top notch, and the very best in that regard when it comes to AC.
A major letdown, and not worth the high price at all. I regret spendig that much money on this game, and I have played trough 1, 2 and 3. This is to much of the same, without anything new and fresh.
Absolutely a quality game. The gameplay, story and world (Yotei) is top-notch. I enjoyed it so much that I got the Platinum Trophy, wich I rarely do. So much to find and enjoy. A well crafted world in general where so much merge in a perfect way.
Pretty dull in my opinion. With the name Dread and the word fear often used, the emmi robots does not justify that at all. They have to be the most boring additions of enemies than any other Metroid game I have tried. Much is reused in a way other much older Metroid games did way better.
Fantastic remaster of one of my favorite games from the gamecube era. It holds up so good and have been boosted up with this well done visual overhaul.
This game do have many positives from the start; great storytelling, compelling gameplay, fantastic progression in quests and skills, not to mention the vast numbers of well made weapons and outfits. But you have to do so much of repetitive things for hours and hours without much progression in story and in general to be fair, and that is a huge letdown and shame. Then the story also drags out and diminishes.
A game that focus more on the facade rather than any depth. The gameplay is fun, but relies in simplified action more than rpg. The story is flat and there is not many great characters. The enemies gets boring to fight not many hours in to the game, where they also dissapears for good. So the lands with little life in it gets even more lifeless.
I have only good memories of Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox 360 when it first came out.
But this remake does not give me the same feeling at all, much because of the camera, missing content, added missions from Sigma that takes the pace out and that it technically does not feel good. The fights even felt more fluid in the original! Just not what I hoped for, and that is a same since I absolutely love both Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2...
Average all over. Much that happens, which is fun, but too much of it is pretty half baked. Even the regular zombies is more dull and boring than ever before, compared to any games or movies that I can remember.
Many great ideas! But also lacks many things in the execution of some if them and the puzzles. The steroid prisoner protagonist is also a lame character to see and hear too much of...
Awesome all over. Played the original on many consoles, this will have the same replay-value for me. Great quality all over, also with the Separate Ways dlc.
Very well done! Creepy and dirty, fun and exciting! You get locked in a bubble that is tense. The story is tight, but should have been the only game with Ethan Winters as the main character.
Bought it early, did not like it that much. But after the gamechanging updates and such, it opens more up and becomes quite fun! Much more rewarding for me as a Star Wars fan to play than Jedi Survivor for example. Great atmosphere on planets and in the Trailblazer!
A beauful universe in a slow game with lot of bland content. The story has bad progression, Corypheus is lacking in presence and his scary demeanor from 2's dlc, and the power system conbined with many dull sidequest is not good. Hinterlands and other places are a slog to ride/run trough.
But most companions are fantastic, and the dragon fights are fun.
Many places have great scenery though.
This game is one of those that irritates me. All that potential in a well crafted world with many great characters, and awesome cgi-trailers/promotion. And it just falls flat...
Pretty rough (what it needs to be), half baked story, some memorable characters, dreadfull last bossfight, very up and down all the way. BUT I will play it again now in 2024, and see how it holds up.
Have played 60 hours, and it was okay at the end. And in my playtime I have not been forced upon anything people is complaining about. I play this as I want, as a straight grown up man. So can others play as they want their character to be, what is the problem with that? Other than that, I like the setting and flow of gameplay thus far, with great story progress acompanied by many great characters! But it gets somewhat tiresome in the end, with little variations in enemies and the last missions does not hit the mark I think. Both in story, companion-arcs (all were heroes) and recycled gameplay. After playing Origins (again) after this, I have adjusted the score down a tiny bit.
Since it really lacks the tone and feel how Dragon Age should be.
Expected more from a game that many compares to Gears of War, but it is not very close to those. It gets too repetitive early on, the campaign is short and without any engaging story and characters. Bulletsponges and weak armor is not fun,but the meele-weapons and graphics is great. I will give the season pass a chance, because it needs more variety. Games like this is usually right up my ally, but Space Marines 2 cuts too many corners for me.
Absolutely stunning. No game breaking issues for me on PS5. A hard game with much fun, fast pace and awesome design in every wa. Reminds me of the old times with Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2 on xbox/360.
A solid and joyful masterpiece. At first I was afraid it was a reskinned BotW, but wow it is absolutely not! It just keeps on suprising and giving.
A perfect sequel to Breath of the Wild.
What a slog of an outdated experience. It feels more like a remaster of the first game, which I did not like either when I tried it 5-6 years ago.
Some cool battles can be found, but everything else is not up to date... If this is the way rpg-fantasy games are made from now on, I would never buy a new game in this genre again! But that is not the case, since there is so many great games out there, both just released and upcoming I'm sure.
Wasted potential, a huge disappointment.
There are so many ways to go in the DC lore when it comes story, creativity and gameplay.
A massive step back from the Arkham games... I understand this is just dumb fun for those who likes fortnite and live service all day, but come on...
I wanted to like this one, as I love Dead Space and Resident Evil, but the main character here is still as underdeveloped as in the first game. And I dont only mean the character Seb himself, but also his movements and absolute lack of stamina! Is he 90 years old? He handles like he is in the first Resident Evil from 1996...
The game still doesnt seem finished in 2024. The lack of interesting story and cool characters doesnt help either.
Cool bosses and ideas here and there atleast.
What a gem! I dont usually play turn based games, but this one is just too perfect from start to finish! And to think many many hours have also gone to try interactions (battles and dialogue) all over again, so I can get a better outcome, and I love it! So many choices in so many different ways, and so much I missed on the first playtrough...
I have yet to The Dark Urge!
This is one of my all time favorites.
Hoped for more, but its my fault for riding the hype train. I really wanted to like this game!
Not a exciting universe compared to Elder Scrolls or Fallout, wich I love. The main story here is dull, looking for too many artefacts, exactly the same, in copy-paste caves/bases, after fast travel after fast travel, running in straight line here and there...
And those temples... The skill tree is bland, with standard physics and human behavoir that have to be learned AGAIN?
Like the "ability" not to bee heard/seen everywhere, far away, behind walls and obstacles by all enemies? Why can you not just run and hide like a normal human being? Not to mention all those lame characters that talks and talks about so insanely much the same pov monotone way. Again. The combat is ok enough, but a solid step down from Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Nothing new. The technical sci-fi aspect is awesome, but I will rather play Cyberpunk that shows more creativity and atleast some humor, that Starfield really lacks...
Putting the bugs aside, I honestly hoped for more from this game. I liked the first game when it came out, but it has little replayable value to me, because of the many mundane level designs. I dont think this game improves much on that, especially the **** moon and lucrehulk are a absolute bore to traverse trough. The gameplay is pretty much the same as in the first, not that fluid as it now should have been.
And many of the skills and powers should absolutely not be locked behind skill-tree and story-flashbacks, come on... Force-slam/lift and a couple of combos wasnt possible for Cal from the start?? And the story and too many of the characters are not that engaging either in my book...
Some of the planets are cool with great designs, and Cal, BD, Greez (+ his bar) and Merrin are great!
A awesome start and fun enough middle part, but the Call of Duty Chris Redfield ending with both über-vehicle vs Heisenberg and the last shootout is a boring slog of a final part.
Remaster done in a fantastic way of an all time creepy 90's classic. I would love a remake of this, but the mansion and tension here is perfect for a remaster.
The best part is the graphics.
But it stops being scary pretty fast, the story drags, the gameplay is also way to slow and mundane, terrible (cloned?) bosses, awful final boss and stealing way to much from DS....
The good things is the graphics and the start of the game. But the combat is outdated, the pace is slow, leaning pretty hard on what Dead Space did in a lot of things, lacking cool gear, and the few hulk-bosses and ending is just outright bad.
Pretty good, but some weird situations with many NPC's and enemies, and the part of the story that directly links to the animus throws me out of the experience often. I love the world, gear, music and the way Eivor (male) are put together.
This is the same enemies all over AGAIN. Ok, it's harder, but just because it is the same enemies in larger numbers in small rooms again and again. It should have been new enemies, a few new weapons, more new worlds. It's just too repetitive, and i really love the base game.
3 solid games, but Nintendo continues to show their greed. They really should learn from Activision when it comes to caring about their classic games. I hope they will remake the Metriod Prime Trilogy in the respectful way, and not like this lazy cash-grab. AGAIN
Some cool bits and pieces in the campaign, but with all the repetetive endgame-stuff is NOT good at all. I didnt have high expectations, but still it doesnt impress me. Microtransactions and exclusive stuff is also stupid as hell.
I was going to wait to rate this, but because of the hate from religious and fascist people I give it a 10 here and now, to weight up for the hatefull score. Hope more people do this, so more people will play this game and make up their own mind. The story, characters and their motivations do fit in to this universe. No doubt about that. And the gameplay are really detailed and rich! The story are brutal and harsh like reality in a world amongst desperate, vengeful or bad people. Every sacrifice/death doesnt need a big and beautiful meaning. Its nature itself in a primitive apocalyptic world.
Personally I did not root for Ellie at the end, and I dont think I ever have been so exhausted and excited by the ending **** before. In retrospect, all the talk about this game has made it a best-seller! Well deserved!
This is maybe the best Doom have to offer, in scale and variation. I love that you can upgrade everything, and you have to fight like hell for it! And cool cosmetics for armor, weapons and demons. Fortress of Doom is excellent, and the action is awesome! But too many rooms of the same enemies, lack of enemy intros and timed missions are things that ruins some of the fun for me.
