Also, was ich sagen will: Der Film hat mir sehr gefallen. Was soll ich sagen? Von all diesen drei Teilen haben mir der erste und der dritte Teil am besten gefallen. Und dem letzten Teil würde ich 8 von 10 Punkten geben.

It is not clear what the plot and purpose of this film is. It tries to create a new story following the previous chapters but disconnected and ends up being a film without content and whose purpose is not clear, if not the desire to continue with the brand without having ideas and commitment to create a new story but only based on the name of the series. Film without sense

Allegiant takes the Divergent series in a direction that just doesn't work, despite having the same strong visuals and solid score as the previous films. The plot feels stretched thin, trying too hard to expand the world while failing to give any real weight to the story. There's an attempt to build tension and introduce new conflicts, but the character depth just isn't there. Tris, who started as a strong lead, feels sidelined by a weak script, and halfway through, I found myself disconnected from her journey. The pacing is all over the place, with rushed moments that should have been developed and long stretches that drag without real purpose. The directing tries to hold things together, but it feels like the movie is constantly fighting against itself. Key decisions, especially involving Miles Teller's character, make no sense at all. Shailene Woodley does her best with what she's given, but the material doesn't support her performance. The rest of the cast ranges from passable to forgettable, with little to no meaningful character growth. Even the chemistry between characters, which was at least somewhat engaging in the previous films, feels forced and lifeless here. Visually, the cinematography and effects are decent, but they can't save the film from its weak storytelling. The score is one of the few redeeming factors, adding some much-needed emotion and tension, but it isn't enough to carry the film. The biggest issue is the lack of a satisfying climax or resolution. The movie builds toward something, only to fizzle out completely, leaving an empty, frustrating ending. It's no surprise this installment flopped, considering how little effort seemed to go into improving the story. Instead of elevating the franchise, Allegiant feels like a step backward, making it clear why the final chapter was scrapped.

The character development is about as poor as that orphan boy asking for soup in Oliver Twist. Not to mention the non-sense plot, along with wayyy too much unnecessary, tacky, and poorly executed CGI filler. I want my two hours back after watching this moving. Out of respect for the first one my wife and I grinded through the last 2 in the series. BUT, never ever did I expect the ball to be dropped as hard as the 3 part of the series "Allegiant."If you haven't watched it yet; save yourself. If you have I'm sure you will relate to the following statements.Floating orange balls, shaky cinematography, pretty much a home video, with early 2 thousands CGI and a plot line that has been cut and pasted at what appears be near complete random. Literally a 1st grade art project where they decided to teach the kids how to use scissors and glue sticks. Also we wouldn't have been surprised if the Spy Kids showed up mid-film on their way to a more sophisticated CGI experience. ABOVE ALL, the most infuriating thing is the plot line. When it's not painfully slow and predictable, it 's utterly randomly progressing through pure whimsical non-sense. This movie is painfully awful; and it humorously clear that only greed inspired this film. The way they completely disrespect the audience by allowing this film to be produced with their names on it blows my mind. If I could give this movie 0 stars I would. It is hilarious that this movie exists. My advice is do not pass go on this movie, save yourself two hours and don't give them any more money. This is an insult to cinema. They should have to pay ever dime they made off this film to the cast, crew and any poor soul who was bait and switched into watching or participating in this movie.

Too bad they didn't make the last film to end the story. After the resounding success of "Hunger Games", American studios were hungry for more films and trilogies for young adults. “Maze Runner” and “Divergente” were two of the most evident cases, with scripts and source material that, in everything, remind us of “Hunger Games”. This film marks the end of the “Divergent” trilogy, unfinished because the fourth film envisaged never became a reality. It was a pity. Personally, I am an apologist that such an effort, when started, should be ended, if only out of respect for the public. Unfortunately, the studio's interests spoke louder. In this film, we finally discover everything outside the walls of Chicago: a world of aridity and devastation, where a mysterious health organization watches over everyone and everything in order to discover more quickly how to restore damage to the human genome. . But not everything is as it seems, and the organization is more murky than it appears. Imported from the previous film, the cast is quite good and competent. Shailene Woodley is beautiful and does a good job. Theo James was also excellent, particularly in the action scenes, and had even more space and time to work here. Evelyn was brilliantly played by Naomi Watts, clearly implying that she is not, and never will be, a good option for governing the city. On the negative side, Zoe Kravitz and Ansel Elgort both disappear from the film. Technically, the film is visually impressive. The cinematography is excellent, vibrant and sharp, and I loved the landscapes of a half-destroyed and decadent Chicago, of dry rivers and lakes and devastated buildings. Incredible, but not coherent: if the entire human population was there, wouldn't more space be needed? Why not rebuild the buildings? Didn't they have two hundred years of peace to do so? Another thing I liked and found amazing was the action and fighting sequences. Really well executed. The sets and costumes were very well done, the highlight being the Agency's facilities and the city of Providence, two sets that even seem worthy of a Star Trek film.

Felt Unnecessary and over the top,Too predictable.Music was amazing so does soundtracks, good acting, visuals were great, screenplay was good entertaining, story was okay felt pointless as per franchise it was way too weak.some scenes were good like fights, escape from chicago .whole starting intro the whole new world to explore was refreshing then slowly everything was predictable the war within them was literally joke and the whole mid half went just drama then climax it was happening too fast didn't felt anything although miles character was good and unpredictable.Overall unnecessary but entertaining movie!

Ok some of the story development seemed somewhat to convenient and contrived. Things seem to fall into the characters laps to easy. They really stepped up the sci-fi aspect to it all which was kind of cool. I like the extra world building elements. With the sense the curtain was being drawn back for our heroes to see more of the secrets of this world. The BF dude has some really fun action scenes. The main lead performance seemed so wooden and phoned in. I don't remember her being this bad in the previous two films. Yeah the film was ok and I was mostly entertained, but I wasn't at any time on the edge of my seat.

I can only say that I loved watching this movie, along with my family, and it caught our attention. Thanks to the production team, for all the moments of pleasure created. In short, against critics, I and my family have been excited about this movie!

This is the second last film in this franchise, meaning that it should be more gripping and stirring than previous entries. Unfortunately, it is the dullest entry in the series yet.

I tried to like the first two. And they weren’t the worse. But this, this is just disgusting. Even more so predictable and the dialouge and acting has been turned down about fifty notches. Rating - 15%

Very disappointed. The acting is sub par and the ending is unforgivingly anti climactic. Most of everything that happens throughout this film was painfully predictable. The most anticipated film in the series yet the most disappointing one.

With Divergent and Insurgent we discover a original history and a wonderful world, but with this movie all fail, all the fans can watch this, but to all the people is so difficult to see the green screen all the movie.

The ending wasn't great, and I still don't fully understand it. It is back to bad acting and a poor plot. It is sad to see it fall back after the sequel was good.

Another underwhelming movie from the Divergent series. Just like the previous 2 it seems like no one is actually trying and there to just collect a paycheck. Some points make zero sense at at when they reach the end credits which had no conclusion to an apparent conclusion of the series.

Surprisingly smart and fast-paced, but fatally flawed and cliched, Allegiant just continues it's predecessors steps in an every-time-worse way, also thanks to it's dull storytelling that lacks a good point of view to it's cast.

While, definitely the worst of the Divergent Series, it still kept me interested the whole way through, even though it did stray from the book a lot. Allegiant could have been better, I think it is a satisfying prelude but actually, the conclusion since Ascendant won't be happening, which is very disappointing. Besides some horrible and very noticeable performances by background characters and straying from the book, Allegiant is really good!

They were going mediocre for the first two, and now they are going bad. The quality is really off for this one; bad acting, bad story, bad visual effects, and tons of badness. The only real redeeming quality of this movie is some of its ideas, but other than that, it ****.

I was so disappointed with the acting in this movie and it doesn't compare to the previous divergent series movies in my opinion. I won't be watching anymore divergent movies when they come out in the future as i believe they will be the same level of disappointment as this movie. I do not recommend anyone to buy or watch this rubbish.

I really loved this movie. I do not know why there was so much hate and disdain for a movie like this. the cast is great, and the plot generally over all kept to the book. I really enjoyed it and I am sure everyone else did too...

Just like previous entries in the Divergent series, you'll be watching a bunch of pretty sci-fi stuff happening onscreen. This movie actually ups that element quite a bit, making it the best looking Divergent movie yet. However poor plotting and generic vibes make it the weakest entry thus far. There really isn't anything to set it apart from any of the other YA novel movies. It's characters are generic stereotypes of the genre and their conflict hits all of the same beats. Even in the action department is fails to capture the excitement, stakes, and surprising brutality of it's older sibling the Hunger Games series, let alone it's emotional connectivity where the plot is concerned. I appreciate the message of celebrating diversity and having everyone look past their differences and come together as one (which in case you didn't pick up early on in the series, it outright spells it out for you here), I just wish there was more substance backing it up. That's been the issue with each movie so far. Well, that and the fact that they all have just felt like setups to the real conflict of the series. "Allegiant" just amplifies all of those issues. Literally nothing of consequence happens here. All the movie does is throw back the curtain to reveal the series big villain and tell us we have to wait until next time to see him get what he deserves. However Allegiant's biggest issue is that it leaves us questioning whether or not this dude is a villain. By the time the credits rolled I witnessed Jeff Daniels play what could be the most poorly fleshed out villain in cinematic history. For the life of me I cannot figure out this guy's motives. I have no idea what the heck he is doing or why and that's because the movie doesn't tell me. Seriously, it gives him no goal. Maybe people who have read the book get it. As far as those of us who have just watched these movies, prepared to be lost. As far as we know this guy is just doing this stuff for absolutely no reason. What stuff is he doing? I'm not 100% clear on that either. He and our main character seem to be fighting just because. It's eye candy and nothing more. A lot of pleasant looking sci-fi special effects creating a very hollow and poorly explained world. If you enjoyed the previous movies you'll likely enjoy this. It's not like you stuck around for the plot anyway. I appreciate the themes, the visuals, and Miles Teller for bringing a sense of humor to the thing. I don't appreciate the senseless plot, meh action scenes, and straight up boring nature of it. I can say that the first two Divergent movies did at least try to be more than cash-ins on the Hunger Games craze. At least the first one did. That isn't the case here. It's got some minor thrills, but it's the worst Divergent yet and I don't see how they are going to do any better with the next one. 4.5/10

I enjoyed the first two films and was expecting to like this too, but the franchise seems to have gone off the rails for some reason. The plot seemed a bit dumbed down from the previous movies but even so was pretty nonsensical. I was able to suspend my disbelief for the first two films but this one just seemed a bit more silly and the action sequences were pretty contrived and lacked any real threat to the characters, although one of the characters at the start of the movie got shot by a bullet that could apparently change direction at will, seeing as she was standing away from the edge of a really large wall and got shot by someone at the bottom. It just went downhill from that point onwards. Just about worth watching if you have watched the previous two films, but otherwise its a pretty lame film in its own right.

One of the problems with these serial movies is that I saw the first 2 so long ago. Maybe if I saw them all at once, the movie would make more sense and I'd give it a higher score. The other problem is there are so many serial movies I'm getting the plots mixed up. "Hunger Games" of course, "The Maze", is there more? As a stand alone movie, what exactly was the plot? Was it a commentary on the French Revolution? or "1984"? or global warming?

Realising what's left behind was the home. Here comes the most expected adventure in the 'Divergent' series. I always wondered what lies outside the wall. So this sequel takes us to the new land where a fresh development takes place. A few old characters were terminated in order to introduce a bunch of new ones. As a theme, it just looked like 'The Scorch Trial', but of course totally a different setting. The director was retained from the previous installment and I think he did a good job. The concept was too familiar. 'Scorch Trial', 'Catching Fire', 'Aeon Flux', all these films are just like this one. Thankfully, this story was decent. At least better than the previous and weaker than the first. The pace drastically held back due to the split of a book into two films. It has been done in the old days, but the present trend began after 'Deathly Hallows'. I was excited to know how big stretch it is going to be as a story wise. Because it looked like the things they've accomplished in one place and looking to explore beyond the boundary. I couldn't predict the story, but I knew what's going to happen in the end of every scene. The dystopian theme was clichéd, not the storyline. The way it ended is a sign for a big finale to commence in the final film of the series. Let's hope for 'Ascendant' to end on a high note. 6/10

Alright look. Modern professional criticism is not worth your time. Metacritic exists solely to divide professional critique, and individual critique. Several of the reviews list the CGI as unimpressive. They are mistaken, and are improperly defining, what is really a "simplistic futuristic cyperpunk" style. The film is beautiful. From its breathtaking sunsets on the destroyed crumbling buildings of Chicago, to the floating pure city of providence, Allegiant is much a visual ride such as Tron: Legacy. The soundtrack is very overwhelming, especially for fans of deep cyberpunk tonality. The cast is less than worthy of the film. However, Shailene Woodley has greatly improved throughout the series. My least favorite pick was Miles Teller as Peter. Enjoy the movie. Disregard professional critics. It is a business practice for them to drive you away from films that do not impress box office results.

Simply Brilliant! Best episode in the Divergent series. Love the TRON & Mass Effect twist to the story arc. This new high-tech Sci-Fi feel to the series is certainly uplifting and refreshing (somehow audience in general don't like change). Never liked the old, rusty distopian feel of the earlier two episodes. With the stage now set for an epic battle against the Pure, I'm eagerly awaiting with anticipation for the final episode. Bring it on! ;)

No it wasn't the best movie in the franchise but I don't think it was terrible. It made me feel as if the past two movies were for nothing. Slow at times, some action but not as exciting as in the earlier movies. Everyone made the same mistakes it felt like. I think the movie could have been great but was told the wrong way.

As a fan of the series so far I went into this film with a little apprehension. It's usually the third film that they tend to screw things up but honestly, this exceeded my expectations in every way and was a delightful watch. The introduction to sci-fi elements felt quite natural and the exploration of eugenic-themed politics was done with shocking subtlety. Unlike the previous films, that felt like they their settings lacked explanation, Allegiant explains enough that you feel you understand where everything is and what's happening, without making it obvious whether certain conspiracies or opinions are correct. The overall message isn't clearly for or against genetic modification either, which means it doesn't feel like the film is pushing it's political ideals at you, nor is it's politics a clear allegory for something in modern politics; though it could be interpreted that way. This is good as it means you don't have to be of one political persuasion to enjoy it and it could so easily have gone that way. So far this franchise has been a happy surprise for me as following films like Hunger Games and Twilight, I had presumed that the "young adult" adaptations where all going to be cringe-worthy. This franchise however had been consistently good and I look forward to the next one.

If you've never read a book in the Divergent series, you may have actually liked this film, but as someone who read the series, and thought that Allegiant was the best book of that series, I am disgusted by what Hollywood turned in into. Entire storylines and major themes are just ripped out of the story, not to mention character mysteriously vanished without explanation, and where did all this technology come from? The bureau is supposed to be this weakly funded entity, not the premier power in the outside world, the whole thing just made me sick. After the first ten minutes, the film greatly diverges from the book, in a way that is incomprehensible to those who read it. The story, which is the final book but not the final film, takes place as people are racing to leave the city and are stopped by the factionless. Tris (Shailene Woodley) and her group knows that they must find out what is on the other side of the wall and launch a daring escape, which was far more difficult than portrayed in film. When they get outside the wall, the group finds out what the world is like outside of Chicago, and it's like nothing they could have ever imagined, and it's nothing like Veronica Roth described it in the book. I understand that Hollywood needs to fit entire novels into two hour films and inevitably somethings just won't make the cut, but what's missing here are major chunks of the story. Maybe they are saving it for Ascendant, which is due out a year from now, but even then they would be so out of order, that the film series just wouldn't make any sense. If you're a fan of the series, you really need to read the books. Allegiant might be one of the best stories you've ever read and when you see what Hollywood did to it, you'll be as pissed off as I am.

This movie embodies the very thing I hate about movies. The thing that popular books need to be converted into poorly done movies, with **** ass acting. No one in this movie seemed to give a **** about it, except maybe Miles Teller, who I thought was just trying to have fun with it. There are good YA books out there, and Fault in Our Stars showed us they can be made into good enough movies, but this is just the plot of Hunger Games recycled, with a little bit of changeover, so that it seems "original". And to think I kind of liked the first one. That's the thing about trilogies though, either they can awesome and super well formed, like the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, or **** like these three movies(or the Taken trilogy, for that matter). All in all, listen to everyone on this website and save yourself some money.

I actually wouldn't call it bad movie! It was better that the second one and around the same as the first. While the plot sometimes does have issues and some things just don't quite make sense, it was highly entertaining. I think everyone did a good job and there was one particular scene where I thought they did have a very good and thrilling job. Overall, it was a pretty good film to see with your friends and if you liked the first two, you would most likely like this one. (87/100)

I don't know what they had in mind when they made this movie, but it is nothing like the book. the pace of this movie is also weird and they lose touch on emotions halfway through. still worth the watch if you really keep up and slow down with the awkward pace. also try to pay attention to the plot and ignore the repetitive (and i mean repetitive) cgi action. Other than that it is really not an entertaining movie with a weird pace and confusing plot.

Although I didn't hate it as much as Insurgent, Allegiant is still a boring, sloppy film with an overly convoluted story and characters not worth caring about. I was never a fan of this franchise, and this film offers nothing to change my mind.

I will admit I went into Allegiant with really low expectations. I saw the first two and gave them low ratings as I thought they were dull and lacked the enthusiasm and excitement of the Hunger Game series. The stories were hard to follow in Divergent and Insurgent and were uninspired. This one felt different and the storyline and action finally came together for me. If you have endured the first two and felt like me, go see the third installment as I was pleasantly surprised. Actually looking forward to the second part now. To be honest I went with the friend because he had a free ticket and I was going for the popcorn. The movie actually being good and finally coming together was a bonus!!!
