A classic Batman beginning to a classic Batman trilogy. The realism of the masked vigilante contrasts with the quirks of the multiple antagonists that are all balanced and established in the film successfully.

The animation (especially in the kitchen and with the various liquids and cuisine) is truly impressive and ingenious, and the screenplay is very charming, original, and heartfelt.

This movie is to be adored for its stunning visual animation and applauded for its steadily paced and increasingly imaginative script. The score by Thomas Newman was also made to dazzle with bouncing rhythms and cheerful strings.

Extensively original and incredibly crafted. All the secret allegories and meanings of this film are totally brilliant, and you can tell that a lot of time, work, and planning were required for this film to be totally amazing. Also, the score by Mica Levi (aka Micachu) is an innovation to film music, just like this movie is an innovation to motion pictures.

As a documentary, it is pretty good, and some of the material comes up days after seeing it. If you are hardcore Rush fan and you do not know the stuff covered in this movie, then you simply are not a hardcore Rush fan. This is because this doc really just covers the basics of the band and nothing extensive or 'hardcore'. It's not amazing or iconic, but at least the documentary was edited and does have a sophisticated style, and in turn, is not good but great.

The direction, cinematography, music, and editing in this movie are very boring, cliché, and clearly uninspired. However, like a lot of these types of documentaries, what they are shooting and recording just happens to be incredibly interesting and, in contrast to the style of the documentary, inspiring.

It's really just documented video footage with some graphics thrown in through the editing. It just happens though that the footage turns out to be creepy, hilarious, absurd, and eventually frightening as a whole.

It is a story about a kidnapped and abused woman that is surprisingly done in a very quiet, passive, and comfortably subtle way. The humble, safe tone of the movie works surprisingly very well, and the movie is very heartwarming and thought-provoking as a result.

Really thrilling, surprising, truly horrific, and flat-out scary. The whole set-up for a horror movie with rebellious, unlikable Marxist punk rockers versus the alien, unlikable white supremacists is completely genius and is executed marvelously. Anton Yelchin is really great in it, and he gives you a very good reason to miss him now and forever.

The only real reason people seriously despise this movie is that it is about cars. They complain about the consumerism and the merchandising yet forget that that is what most of the movie industry is. They say it is fine that every other company has sequels, yet they go mad when Pixar makes one. Why does Pixar have to be shamed for making a sequel, now? Even with the fact that this movie is a sequel, it has great writing and character development, and the animation is luscious and fantastic; there are little details everywhere. It should also be said that people think it's some dumb comedy; did they not watch the movie? It's an action flick, and it's a smart one at that.

Pandering, blunt, bland, stupid, stupid, and stupid. Its writing is cheesy schmaltz, and the dumb message is spread past its idiocy to its core limit.

Lots of fun all the way through. Ryan Reynolds is great as the title character even when his face is hidden for most of the movie. It has enough style to keep running smoothly, but it could use some more.

This film could be one of the most underrated films of all time; it's seriously really good. It's very original, and it has a very consistent zany tone.

This movie just felt very uninspired when I first watched it; it really felt like they just put in whatever the audience wanted in the screenplay and complimented it with a great soundtrack and great animation. It really falls flat, especially in the third act where the movie is at its ultimate worst. The voice acting is okay, especially since the characters are already so unoriginal.

So dark and melancholy. Aaron-Taylor Johnson is the best actor in the film; he really pulls off the creepy, unforgivable villain here. Other excellent performances come from Jake Gyllenhaal for his character's desperation, Michael Shannon for his character's regret, and Amy Adams for her character's cynicism. An excellent screenplay and even more excellent direction from the inexperienced second-time director Tom Ford.

This movie is pure dumb. A lot of it is silly and cheesy, and it all seems unintentional. Even if it is intentional, the fact that it seems unintentional is still equally damaging. The songs stink and the performances are okay.

This documentary is well-shot and has great creative execution. Unfortunately, it is not a documentary; it's an immature conspiracy theory. This guy seriously thinks that one of our main political parties is a secret criminal organization; there's something obviously wrong with that 'theory'. His bull-headed attitude doesn't help much either.

The obvious problem with this movie is that it is about reactions to the story of the Little Prince rather than the story itself. It's also a little too literal and even a bit cringy at times. It still has nice animation and voice acting, though, as well as a good enough story. The ending is great, too.

Outstanding score by Jóhann Jóhannson (different from Arrival and Sicario) and cinematography by Benoît Delhomme and an excellent model of Stephen Hawking by Eddie Redmayne. Most of everything else is good besides the fact that the plot can get a bit repetitive sometimes.

Jurassic World is dumb fun at its dumbest and sometimes at its funnest. It tries to be smart, but then it starts being the thing the movie is spreading a message against. It's hypocrisy in cinematic form.

The quality of the animation is set to its newest Pixar maximum, but the writing sets itself throughout the entire thing to a pretty safe good. There are a few risks in the movie to be applauded, but it ends up being mostly another summer sequel. The animation is awesome, though!

What starts out great ends up being one trying-to-be-great mess. All of the primary problems with the film are in the writing which feels uninspiring, clichéd, and safe. It also didn't feel very faithful to Lewis Carrol's characters or his novel "Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There." Then there's a horrible song by P!NK at the end to ruin the show.

The animation brings it down a lot. The writing brings it down even more. The voice acting takes it to the ground. The fact that it exists brings it beneath the ground, melting it inside the mantle's apathetic magma.

It's just terrible is all. The acting ****, the writing stinks, the editing pukes, the directing bombs, the cinematography blows, the costume design bursts, and the music dies.

God's Not Dead 2 gets a 2. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... It's just terrible; the movie looks terrible and the characters and plot don't really make any sense. You can make an awesome Christian movie; you just first have to know how to make an actual MOVIE rather than a mushed track of dead, dated scenes.

A very silly action movie that can keep you sort of occupied for more than two and a half hours. It also tries to be funny; it fails at that. It tries to be thought-provoking; it blows at that. It's very equal to the quality of the second Dhoom movie; while the second one has bad acting and bad writing and is kind of cheesy; the third one... has bad acting and bad writing and is kind of cheesy.

It provokes lots of thoughts about our delicate future and artificial intelligence (even if some of it is familiar). The writing, directing, and editing really work together to craft a solid movie.

This movie is close to bad. The animation is choppy, the voice acting does not fit (especially Mark Hamill whose Joker takes away from the dark, suspenseful tone the movie is going for), and the writing is flat (in both halves of the movie) and oddly uninspired (this IS adapted from a smart comic book). There were parts that were just flat out laughable (they didn't kill me, though).

This is how to put product placement in a movie while keeping it very strong. The voice acting is excellent, and the animation is quite stunning (it looks like stop motion!). This is easily one of the best animated movies of all time.

Excellent from the start to the finest finish. The performances are great, and the setup is brilliant. This might be Gavin Hood's best film after his previous movies (e.g. X-Men Origins, Ender's Game).

Excellent satire on relationships and society. The story is very dystopian yet childish, and the actors, director, and editor create this very simple, child-like tone.

A study of randomness in its finest craft. The characters and story here are so random, originally executed, and as a result, humorous. The characters are wonderfully out of proportion, the sets are so wonderfully caricatural, and the voice acting is wonderfully exaggerated. It's perfect.

You can make a movie with just minions; there have been silent comedies in the past. You just have to make it funny. That's exactly where this movie fails; it's not that funny. The villain is not funny and the supporting characters are not that funny either. Coffin and Balda and their team of animators could have easily made a better movie had they had a more polished and imaginative script. Instead, they got the screenwriter of the Despicable Me theme park ride.

This film has many clever and witty allegories to its source material, The Odyssey. The three leads work well by themselves and with each other as well as the rest of the cast.

A seemingly light and harmless movie with serious dark undertones beneath its overplayed charm. The movie has a panicked tone as high stunts in choreography, production design, score, and acting are brought onto the last remaining films of the studio system before it collapses. The movie also questions religion, economy, and opposing government ideologies.

The cliché wrestling movie lifted by the excellent performance from Jake Gyleenhaal. There's a point somewhere in the middle of this movie where it gets so painful and hopeless. Unfortunately, the movie then takes the turn of the common tropes, but even then it's still pretty good.

This movie is a breeze from its cold beginning to its warm, crisp end. Its characters are great, and the actors make them better. It is also better than its original source material.

Make no mistake, this is another stupid, thoughtless movie from the deep, dark pits in Bollywood. But it is so fun to watch. All the fight scenes, all the training scenes, all the dumb humor... it's just so likable.

This is a nicely shot and edited movie; it is truly beautiful to watch unfold on screen. The performances are great from Bhatt and Khan, and their chemistry with each other is excellent. Even though the story of discovering life and yourself and blah blah blah is kind of cliché, it is a great movie. It got snubbed at the Filmfare Awards (they nominated Sultan for best movie of the year?!)

This movie is dark and slow and menacing. It's an excellent action movie with no real physical action in it. What really makes it one of the best movies of 2015 is its disturbing, twisted ending. And the score is incredible.

The movie is beautifully made from each of its characters' subtle, individual body parts to the powerful, motivational big screen. It is a pretty simple story yet it has multiple, complex tropes, themes, and messages. There is so much to analyze out of these brief ninety minutes of screen time.
