Rush Hour 31
Jun 26, 2016
Really nowhere as good as the first one, or even the second. This one is bland, full of dark humor, and boring. I did not enjoy watching this Rush Hour film.
Jun 26, 2016
Finding Dory2
Jun 26, 2016
A generally boring movie with some funny moments. I know, I know, it is a kids movie and I should not be trashing it, but come on, the original was far more superior to this one. Even though the animation is a tad bit better here, the story is bad, and...yeah, you get my point.

Independence Day: Resurgence9
Jun 26, 2016
Independence Day: Resurgence is one of those films that I like that others do not. It is a fun film to watch, the effects are terrific, and plus it has JEFF GOLDBLUM!!!!!!!!!!!! Need I say more? Oh, the aliens look much better than they did in 1996. Jessie Usher was a bad actor though.

The Fits0
Jun 25, 2016
A very bad movie with no depth at all. The movie is a boring documentary on boxing it seems. I did not enjoy it all. Why it's getting such high ratings is beyond me.

Norm of the North0
Jun 25, 2016
This is even a movie??? I thought i was some sort of advertising or something for kids. It's that bad. It is also one of the lowest rated user scores on Metacritic.

Get Hard9
Jun 25, 2016
A funny movie with a funny title. Not for kids by the way. I wouldn't recommend this title, but I think it is funny enough to give it a 9/10. Thank you

The Divergent Series: Allegiant0
Jun 25, 2016
I thought this would be a good movie in the vein of the Hunger Games. Boy, was I wrong. It was cliched, poorly scripted, and bad acting, and would be better off as a SyFy Original. Mega thumbs down :(
Jun 25, 2016
Free State of Jones0
Jun 25, 2016
McConaughey's worst in my opinion. The film is inaccurate, full of profanity and gore, and just plain out depressing. I would skip this film and watch something else.
Jun 24, 2016
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre0
Jun 24, 2016
Just saw this today on a rental DVD. It wasn't scary or suspenseful, just gross. One of the worst horror films of all time in my opinion. Skip it and watch something else.
Jun 24, 2016
The Faculty2
Jun 24, 2016
Too gory for my taste. The acting was average, and the actors looked straight out of a soap opera. I would skip The Faculty and watch a better sci fi.
Jun 24, 2016
Land of the Lost1
Jun 24, 2016
This movie was so stupid and dumb, it wasn't enjoyable. It's like a ripoff of Jurassic Park and Star Wars mashed together. A complete and utter waste of time watching Will Ferrell act like an idiot (more so than he already does). Skip this one.
Jun 24, 2016
Chappie6
Jun 24, 2016
Chappie is a funny, but totally dumb sci fi thriller about a police robot designed to kill the police and commit carjackings, murders, and cause mayhem. Chappie however doesn't agree with that. So the bad dudes trick Chappie into commiting crimes, like the carjackings. The acting was sub par here. It was an okay way to spend 2 hours.

Alien8
Jun 24, 2016
Alien is one of those films that was so good, but then ruined by a bunch of bad sequels. This is one of the, if not the most suspenseful films ever. There is a reason that Roger Ebert calls this a "Great Movie". I won't go as far as to give this film 10 stars, but it truly deserves 8. Mediocre acting sadly. Effects were the best for 1979, but won't suffice today.
Jun 24, 2016
Alien 33
Jun 24, 2016
After Alien, the series went downhill a bit, starting with the action movie Aliens, which received higher scores for some unknown reason. Alien 3 is a gore fest, with guts and blood, and at least 80% of the sentences spoken say the f word. Effects are bad. James Cameron couldn't do justice to the series, and neither can whoever directed this.
Jun 24, 2016
Alien: Resurrection0
Jun 24, 2016
Alien: Resurrection is truly the worst Alien film ever made. If you are into gore, loads of f bombs. and a horrible plot, then Alien: Resurrection is for you. I liked Alien, thought Aliens was okay, but this is just horrible.
Jun 23, 2016
The Lost World: Jurassic Park9
Jun 23, 2016
Truth be told, The Lost World: Jurassic Park is sometimes considered the worst Jurassic Park film. That is not true. (That is JP3). Jeff Goldblum was fantastic here, as was Julianne Moore. The effects were improved from the original from 1993, and even better than 2001's JP3. The storyline was 100% different from the book, but who cares. This film is one hell of a ride, and you will enjoy it. Trust me.

Inception5
Jun 23, 2016
This film receives very high ratings among users and critics, but here is my honest opinion. The film is just okay and generally bland. The twists are uncalled for. I would have preferred this movie to be 90-110 minutes, instead of 150. It is too long, and gets boring easily. Characters had absolutely no depth. This film is easily a 5/10.

Attack the Block6
Jun 23, 2016
"Attack the Block" is exactly what you should expect from an R-rated sci-fi. Gore, loads of f-bombs, and crazy dialogue. The film is very cheesy, but very entertaining. The street thugs turn into kick ass superheros who fend off these aliens from destroying London. Very entertaining, right? I say if you enjoyed Alien, Independence Day, or Straight Outta Compton, you will enjoy Attack The Block. 6/10
Jun 22, 2016
The Conjuring3
Jun 22, 2016
I was shocked at how this film played out. It was just so boring compared to other horror films I have seen. The Others and the Haunting in Connecticut were just so much better than this. I haven't seen the second film yet, so I won't judge the sequel. The film wasn't scary or have suspense. 3/10
Jun 22, 2016
Aliens6
Jun 22, 2016
Nowhere as good or suspenseful as the first "Alien" film, but the acting is good, and the effects are okay, but still not as good. Bill Paxton is hilarious in this one. However, the plot is thin, and generally seems more rushed in this one, despite being over 30 minutes longer than Alien. 6/10
Jun 22, 2016
Titanic10
Jun 22, 2016
Certainly one of the best films ever made. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are brilliant. The love story is so strong, you truly believe it. The ship as beautifully made and looks so lifelike. It is perfectly timed at 3 hours and 14 minutes, but seems it can go on longer even if it wanted to and still keep me hooked. The special effects during the sinking are spectacular also. Will watch this film again!

The Island10
Mar 26, 2016
I really enjoyed this film. Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johannson were both great, as was Steve Buscemi. Truly a new favorite. It has a bit of sci fi, romance, and humor built into it. A must see!

Wrong Turn10
Mar 7, 2016
Scary and fun at the same time. You'll be riveted watching this. Just know, like me, you will be terrified of West Virginia after watching this. The acting was good, not the best, but the main characters did great. The cannibals were freaky. The movie is like so so so creepy. I recommend :) 10/10

Fast & Furious8
Mar 7, 2016
Certainly entertaining, from beginning to end. One of the better films I have seen lately, but not as good as Furious 7. Anyways, I would recommend this movie to anybody looking for a suspenseful action movie THAT ISN'T RATED R. That's the beauty of the F & F franchise, teens could watch it without the iffy content (they are all PG-13) 8/10

Furious 710
Mar 7, 2016
Truly one of my new favorite movies. Let me be honest, I'm hard to please in film, especially with action films like this. Soundtrack was great. Dwayne Johnson (whom I know from San Andreas) did a heck of a job in this. The ending was dramatic, with the tribute and all, but the entire film is worth a watch. :) 10/10

The Day After Tomorrow5
Feb 22, 2016
The effects aren't the best, those tornadoes in Los Angeles were not as good as Twister's tornadoes. The floods in New York City were good though. Acting could use some brushing up on. I didn't care for the storyline. This is not the best, not the worst. 5/10
Feb 22, 2016
War of the Worlds6
Feb 22, 2016
In my personal opinion, I think this is not as good in Independence Day in some ways, better in some ways. Overall, this film doesn't have the suspense Independence Day had or even the realism. I'm giving this film a solid mixed review of 6/10
Feb 22, 2016
Volcano10
Feb 22, 2016
I found nothing wrong with this movie. The plot is somewhat original, I mean, who would of thought a park in Los Angeles, California would become a volcano, destroying everything in its path. Tommy Lee Jones and Anne Heche were amazing in this. Great special effects. This film really blows Dante's Peak away hehehe. 10/10
Feb 22, 2016
Into the Storm4
Feb 22, 2016
The special effects in Into the Storm are top notch. However, the storyline is extremely flawed, this film has every cliche and cheesy line a film can have. If it weren't for the horrible plot, characters, and acting, this would be an easy 8-9, instead I'm giving it a sold 4/10
Feb 22, 2016
Dante's Peak5
Feb 22, 2016
The film is not as good as it's rival, Volcano. The story is weak, the characters are very cliched. However, the special effects were fantastic, and it is suspenseful. Not a memorable movie by any means. I'm giving it a 5/10.
Feb 22, 2016
I Am Legend9
Feb 22, 2016
The film is suspenseful, full of action, humor, and great characters, especially Samantha, the adorable German Shepherd. The desolate New York City looks amazing, from the weeds growing in Times Square to the remains of the Brooklyn Bridge. Truly one of Will Smith's better films. 9/10
Feb 19, 2016
Jaws3
Feb 19, 2016
Truly one of the most overrated movies of all time. No real suspense, not scary, but a ton of blood. I have no idea why this film gets such high marks. It is truly Spielberg's worst film ever. 3/10
Feb 19, 2016
Deep Impact2
Feb 19, 2016
The movie is boring, no real suspense. Don't know how this movie got PG-13, when they say f**k twice, and in the sexual way. The part with the wave is good, but that is about it. I do not recommend Deep Impact to anybody wanting a "good" disaster film. 2/10
Feb 17, 2016
Jurassic World10
Feb 17, 2016
Truly a masterpiece of a film. I watched it over 100 times since I got the DVD (I might be exaggerating). Chris Pratt is amazing, as is Bryce Dallas Howard. Great effects. Dinos look so real. Some cliches, but they are good cliches. I recommend this film if you love Jurassic Park. Truly a step up from JP3!
Feb 17, 2016
Independence Day8
Feb 17, 2016
Quite simply the best film Emmerich ever made. Amazing special effects, were the best until San Andreas came around in 2015. However, for a 1996, the effects still astonish me. Some cliches and cheesy lines, but not over the top. Bill Pullman as president is an added plus. Will Smith I could do without. I love Jeff Goldblum in this. If you love disaster movies, I truly recommend Independence Day. Hopefully, the sequel won't disappoint.
Feb 17, 2016
Rush Hour10
Feb 17, 2016
And to thing that a movie like this isn't pure gold, you are pure nuts. I MEAN COME ON WHO DOESN'T LOVE WATCHING GROWN MEN GET KARATE CHOPPED. Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan= PURE GOLD. Quite simply, the best action film ever. Hilariously funny, but the movie is PG-13, which is a good thing, so it isn't a dirty movie. I LOVE IT!
Feb 17, 2016
Jurassic Park III5
Feb 17, 2016
Worst in the series, but still not a terrible film. At least they brought back Sam Neill right, but what the heck happened with Laura Dern?!?! The effects in this film were quite possibly the worst in any Jurassic film. The Goldblum might have been able to save this film. The film is literally FLOODED with cliches, and cheesy lines. Sad! This could've been a great film, but sadly, it isn't. Well, at least Jurassic World made up for this. Like I said, it isn't a terrible film, but isn't a great one either. If you are a true fan of the franchise (like me), then GET this movie. But, don't expect it to be anything like the original.

20123
Feb 17, 2016
The movie was very disappointing. While, the special effects were good, the acting was horrid. John Cusack played a man estranged from his wife, but once again is reunited with her after the disaster, and her new boyfriend is brutally killed. The part in Wyoming was good, but really didn't make sense. HOW THE HECK DID CUSACK MAKE IT OUT OF THAT?!?! After they make it out of Wyoming, we get to see the destroyed Las Vegas, but how are people still here? Then on the plane, we see Honolulu, which is burning due to volcanic eruptions. The film leaves a lot to be desired, populated by forgettable characters, I forgot ALL their names (well, except for the Russian dude, Yuri), the special effects are good, but not the best. This is a solid D-movie, if that is even a thing. I give it a 3/10.
