Not awful and if a few things were fixed then it would take a huge step up. 1. The acting in the beginning was a little shaky and lacked resonance. 2. The CGI got a bit much and transparent at times which really hurt the movie. I understand it had to be used for the younger Henry, but it became a little over the top on some of the action scenes. 3. With the way it was shot and edited, It kind of seemed like if Bourne was a Marvel movie. Would have worked a little better if it stayed more in the Bourne category.

I think this movie is really a 9/9.5 but I think the critic reviews are kind of ridiculous and I'm going to round up. The cast was phenomenal, especially Tom Holland, he was absolutely amazing. The storylines were all excellent and came together beautifully.

After watching it the second time recently I have come to realize that this movie was ahead of its time. Science fiction was at the point where the randomness was an accepted thing. Of course the original is really the landmark movie, but overall this is a great movie and like the source material it has inspired many great movies, books and television shows I love now.

Better than the reviews. Even with its updates, the speculative science, technology, society and governments in movies based on classic sci-fi novels will always seem a bit of the the mark. A lot of authors were good at predicting things, but good is relative, probably like a 10% hit rate. That being said, it was still enjoyable.

Jessica Chastain kills this role. Overall the cast was very good and the movie did a great job in making something of this nature seem absolutely thrilling.

Good movie and the 3 main leads are great actors who do a good job. Not quite as good as Silence of the Lambs but it's close.

The 3 main actors do a good job, especially Nic Cage. The rest of the cast is casted fairly well. My main problem and what keeps this movie from being truly good is that the dialog seems clipped and forced in a lot of areas, just not natural. What they are saying seems well written but the flow is off.

The cast is very good and they give a great performance. A much better movie than the reviews would suggest. I think this movie goes into an area that these types of movies rarely do. Very similar to modern horror stories that focus on the victims and their struggles.

The difference between Birds of Prey and Suicide Squad is that I knew Suicide Squad would ****. Seriously tho, I liked the premise of this movie and I thought it would be better. Unfortunately, it still kind of ****, just not as bad as suicide squad.

What a fantastic movie! Every role is casted perfectly and Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass and Jake Johnson kill their respective roles.

Not a terrible movie and the cast was great. It’s really more of a 6.5 for me but I can round up in this case.

Much better than expected and Daddario really pulls off the psycho well. I think the people who say this doesn’t look like the eighties maybe never grew up in the 80’s. That or they just have a very limited view of what the 80’s looked like. To me this represents the late 80’s very well. The metal scene during that era was big and the Bible thumping religious zealots who declared it satans music, was all over the place.

Awesome! One of Tom Cruises best roles and Jamie Foxx is great. The rest of the cast does a fantastic job as well. Mann does it again with an intense and gritty movie.

Of course you have to be a fan of Motley Crue to enjoy this movie. I grew up on their music and these stories.

Not a bad movie and there is some interesting things going on, it it’s not as smart as it wants to be.

I wouldn’t say it changed the game but it created a great world in a space with little wiggle room. I’m sure the creator of the comic must have been inspired by highlander in its original premise. Great cast, great action and a great story. Well done.

Crazy ass, Uber violent, blistering movie. It’s like the makers of Crank did some lines and decided to make a movie like Gamer and Nerve all rolled up in one.

The concept was interesting and had PKD novel feel to it but the movie went a little off the rails during the middle. The cast is good and the Bonnie and Clyde thing redeems it.

A creative use of a familiar theme. The cast is great and Samberg & Milioti have great chemistry on screen, well done!

This is a really good movie, if it was released 10 years ago it may have been an Oscar winner. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is awesome and the rest of the cast is fantastic as well. Well shot and well done.

One of Nic’s best movies. I’ll say it again, Cage is at his best in these kind of roles. I love the cast and this movie.

Such a good movie, Cage is at his best in these kind of roles. I think he would be viewed very differently today if he stayed away from the blockbusters.

I don’t get the reviews, there isn’t much out there that is like this movie. My guess is that most of the really negative reviews are from people who actually don’t see the flaws in our system and buy into partisan politics. Which I think is kind of the point. Great cast and well done Mr Stewart.

A way better movie than the reviews would suggest. I think reviewers saw hurricane and gator and thought it's like Sharknado and I here to say that they were wrong. This movie is more like the shallows or Jaws in the suppense it brings. Kaya Scolderario is amazing in the lead role, I'm impressed.

Not a terrible movie, just so so. There are some good moments, but they're far and few between.

This is a good movie adaption of a mediocre King novel. Mike Flanagan did a good job building suspense and maintaining it all the way thru and Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood really nailed their roles.

This is a great adpation **** novel. Although I love the movie The Shinning I understand why (based on the novels) that Stephen King says that Doctor Sleep redeems it. Great cast and performances throughout and Mike Flanagan shows why he's becoming one of the best.

Good movie and it one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Light hearted time travel that isn't perfect, but it's a lot of fun.

Such a great sequel! The first one was an awesome movie on its own, but part 2 is so closely tied to part 1 it really depends on it. That's not a bad thing and they did a great job with it, but it's still not the perfection that part 1 is.

Perfection... Yes there are problems with the time travel logic, but this movie is perhaps the best of an amazing era.

I’m a huge fan of Arthurian tales and I usually don’t like drastic changes but this movie was entertaining and Guy Richie’s unique style worked for the most part. There was a flat and repetitive vibe about half way thru but overall it was still good.

Good movie with likeable characters, plus the 67 Continental was pretty epic. Overall this movie had a classic feel with good humor and mostly modern sensibilities and ethics.

This movie had some really good moments and it was entertaining but some of the character pivots were very odd. Still liked it tho.

Good movie and I like Rainn Wilson much better in these kind of movies vs the Meg kind of movies.

Funny movie with a good cast. I think they did a good job doing a sequel instead of a remake.

Big fan of Christmas movies and Jason Bateman. This movie is better than the reviews and it had its moments.

Perfect cast and they all have great performances. In a space where these types of movies blend together, this one stands out.

It’s a much better movie than it’s ratings. I love the cast and the Farrelly Brothers strike again, this is a funny movie with more heart than you’d expect.

A kind of old school adult comedy with some good moments, good amount of nudity and a great cast.

Fantastic cast and there were some really cool things about it but still kind of flat for me. Not bad and maybe 10 years ago it would have been looked upon a little better.

It was a little unrealistic and the tech was a little inconsistent but still this was a good movie with a great cast. The action kept up the whole way through and so did the entertainment value.
