Remember when Wolfenstein was about killing **** and having fun doing it? Being a ****, Fascist-deleting badass with one purpose only:Killing Fascists? Well, in the New Colossus you'll have the "honor" to play a whiny, mopey, depressed, self-loathing "Blazkowiz" who will never shut up complaining. You'll be cursing at the atrocious leveldesign (Manhattan!), made so sloppy, you'll question who even designed this mess! You know what should be the best thing in a Wolfenstein-game? KILLING ****! Not being interrupted every 10 minutes to do fetch-quests and wander around some horribly build hallways or listen to embarrassing "dialogues"!! Should be telling, when the most fun in this game is the arcade-machine with classic Wolfenstein 3D on it! Go, play Return to Castle Wolfenstein instead! Its not bloated with ****, unnecessary cutscenes and has better gunplay, soundtrack, leveldesign (!) and movement!

Game starts strong with a very atmospheric beginning and tension and its very nice looking with different climate-zones. The bullet-drop isn't as insane as in Wildlands where you were basically shooting with garden hoses and they added the option to reduce drone-presence in the game which is worth the one positive point I guess. But the apparent flaws make this game boring and tedious. Constant micro-stutters ruin the gameplay-experience and no matter what hardware and what settings you choose, the game just won't run smoothly. Sometimes it runs very well, just to slow down and play like a dia-show later. Traversing the huge map can be fun for a while, but soon you'll get bored to death with the long walking or driving distances where nothing happens inbetween, just to enter a base, kill everything (in hopes the framerate does not die on you) and then travel the empty space to another mission-objective. Disabling the Ubi$oft-connect overlay helps just a littlebit with the framerate, but not much and to add more bull**** the game requires a constant internet-connection. Avoid!

Close to being the best Borderlands out there with crazy weapons and a very smooth coop-experience. Still stunning and beautiful level-design with a perfectly fitting soundtrack. Unfortunatley the farming is boring and tedious and the way weapons are being rolled or just the system the weapons behave is a downgrade from the first one. Yes, there are more guns and even more crazy guns, but especially at later second or third playthroughs ("Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode") the game forces "slag" down your throat and the guns that you are basically forced to use are behaving like boring Nerf-pellets. The way weapons are constructed makes looking for hidden chests basically useless, since the chances of getting good loot from them could be in the negative digits. Oh and remember the Pearlescent Weapons from BL1 ? Yeah.... now you can only obtain them in the UVHM and they aren't as good anymore and require you to use special shields or mods to be at least a littlebit powerful. Protip: Ignore the **** UVHM and just play the game with its good DLC's together with friends!

It took everything "DOOM" Eternal made wrong and upped it to eleven. The platforming is even more annyoing, the new enemies are even more bullet-sponges and the gunplay is even worse. The whole design is just lazy and frustrating. The way enemies behave, the way you are literally forced to kill them in a very specific way (again, but even worse this time) makes this game a sluggish, bad platformer with way too much cinematics and the Slayer just... not slaying!

What happened to "Shoot it until it dies" ?! The gunplay is boring and tedious with constant interruptions and forced weapon-switching. Melee is basically useless unless you "glory-kill" and the way to fight the demons is way too passive. The Story is.... okayish... but the main-protagonist is way too calm and tries to be "serious", You see it at some scenes where he was supposed to act (=whip your gun out and shoot the demon) but he had to stand there and listen calmly. And the WORST offender in this game are the platforming-sessions. Mario with guns and annyoing platforming-sections. Its like the game wants to take everything away that made classic DOOM and DOOM 2016 great. Playing through it was a chore, but I didn't even know how bad the 2 DLC's for this cinematic-simulator could be: It got worse every hour!

Huge but empty map, weird transitions between missions, that just teleport you around only to result in more geo-caching gameplay. Missions are boring and feel totally out of place and anorganic (seems to follow every ARMA-game) and nearly every part of the game has been cut out and resold as DLC. The basegame is just a barebones, barely running cashgrab. If you hope it'll get better when playing online / Multiplayer, be prepared for disconnects, unreasonable fps-drops and force-fed "Mods" that make the game even more unplayable.

Its a Resident Evil game for people who don't like Resident evil. Campy and unnatural dialogue (it was worse in the original, I get it), its not scary (besides maybe 3 short sections), its too easy and you'll never have enough ammo for the really fun weapons. The RE2-remake managed to elevate RE2 and build on its strengths. RE4 Remake on the other hand feels like life- and soulles cashgrab. Not enough that players are robbed of 60 bucks, they are flat out forced to play with the Denuvo-Virus. The game itself is more of a horde-mode 3rd-person shooter with pretty annoying combat-mechanics and boring leveldesign. It runs well at least, despite of DENUVO, but I have zero motivation to replay it and was more or less relieved when the end-credits rolled (it isn't even a particularly long game. It just tries to pad the playtime with mini-games and collectibles). Wish I'd invested the money into Everspace 2 instead.

The first few hours are not bad. They are pretty interesting tbh, but they get extremely repetitive and boring fast. Game c***blocks you every 5 minutes and forces you to do chores over chores over chores until you'll be asking yourself why you aren't getting paid for the hours of literal work you've put into the game. Inventory full? Build more storage-space. Need Ressources for Storage space? Good luck finding them or bringing them along with your tiny inventory! Need specific ressources that require specific tools to mine them? You guessed it: Need to find these ressources first! And pray to Cthulhu you'll have enough inventory-space! Not only does the game never tell you where to find most of the needed crafting-materials (good luck guessing what vague locations your PDA was thinking about!), it spreads them out so you'll keep on backtracking, searching and cursing at your limited inventory-space. When you are finally able to build the big submarine (controls like **** or the prawn-suit [good luck sinking somewere in this thing and the jump-thrusters can't get you out!] (they cost an INSANE amount of rare materials and will require you to spend hours over hours looking for small and hidden ressources spread miles away), all they do is let you get "deeper". And even there the novelty wears of quickly. Because guess what you have to do at the bottom of the ocean again: Searching and searching and searching for rare materials, backtracking until your eyes bleed and repeat this until you fall asleep. It gets even more mundane since the deep gets less detailed, more weird AI-bugs keep popping up (wildlife swims in a stuttering manner or clips through your ship or your base) and ressource-requirements seem to skyrocket. This game seems to have the intention to punish you for progression. The further and deeper you go, the more you have to collect, backtrack, repair, replenish energy-cells and so on, and so on. Ah yes there is a "No ressources are required-mode", but this makes the "game" (rather work-enviroment) even more boring. The Novelty wears off very quickly, the building-mechanic is like pulling nails, with a "camera" way too close to the building-sectors and even noone to show off your impressive (still pretty limited) buildings, because its SP only. This mode shows you even more how empty and bland the game really is, with a paper-thin story and story-elements ridicoulosly hidden away or placed in weird unfair locations!

Game is slow, boring and short. Perfectly made for streamers and people who enjoy screamer-"horror". Controls are weird and floaty and obviously made for controller-play. The first few hours will make you hate the shooting very much, since the gunplay is totally off and weird. It gets a little better when you get the shotgun, but not much. Maps are boring and unintuitive, sprinkled with some short "shock-moments" and a character that won't shut up to tell the player how to feel. Everything feels cramped in, everything pulls you through a linear path with really small deviations till you come to the next set-piece / cinematic. (one point for the option to skip all of the boring cutscenes!). Add Denuvo to the mix that still costs you many fps (Capcom "fixed" it a littlebit, but game still doesn't run smoothly) .

What happens if you want to make "art" instead ****. Its well optimized and gruesome, but thats all there is. Like all of the thousand other "horror"-walking simulators out there. The novelty and horror wears off extremely quick and whats left is a boring walking-simulator with annoying and crappy puzzles. Movement is sluggish and slow, the gunplay is scarse and easily the worst part of this "game". The Store-page not only straight out lies about this game (there is no interconnected open world, you can't upgrade your character and you really are not as much as exploring, but following a pretty straight forward path with hard to navigate sections inbetween) but is pretty overpriced for a max 5 hour experience imho. It will take a while until you find your first weapon and the game tries it best to make your experience of puzzle-solving extremely mundane and wasteful inbetween the really sparse enemy-encounters. The shooting itself is even worse, and it might be the reason why there aren't many enemy encounters.

The music is good. The rest of the game is such a slog with mindboggling design-choices that left me shaking my head. I guess the positive reviews are just desperate attempts of wishful thinking. Maybe the reviewers just remember the actually good short last part of the game? Or the intro? Because after the good first 30 minutes or so the game takes a total nosedive. Forced dialogue and annoying babbling kids are bad enough, but what the hell did the design-team think, when they decided to play a big portion of the game during DAYLIGHT?! The daylight-sections look just plain ugly. Really really ugly. The strength of the game, are nearly all sections that play at night. I mean: People wrote in their Reviews how the game is like they've always imagined an original terminator-game would look, after comparing it to the first two movies. But didn't the flashbacks show us battles during THE NIGHT?! Weapons and hit-detection feels kinda off (it gets a little better though, when you get your hand on some futuristic weapons. - Unfortunately you'll get them very late in the game!). The stealth-mechanics feel very clunky, maybe thats the fault of lacking real alternative routes. There are airducts and small reroutes at some scarse points, but so many ways are just artificially blocked or funnel you right through enemy-positions.

Can You Imagine Needing 2Mbs Up Just To Support DRM? Stuttering, glitched menues, invisible surfaces where you can't shoot through, and annoying progress-loss. Now they even "patched" the game by nerfing many guns and making half of your loot useless, so you can kiss your favorite guns goodbye. The game itself falls total flat as a borderlands-game. The amount of "details" of characters is really off-putting and out of place for a borderlands game imho. Movement and gunplay are worse than BL 1 and BL 2, with some kind of delay and ... its hard to describe: Feels so pointy but not meaty. Exploration is less fun, since its more like walking through a shopping-centre and not a big and interesting world. Characters are totally forgettable and uninteresting, jokes seemingly never land. Who wrote this?! Story is boring as hell. Ask people who finished the game and tell you their most memorable things that happened and you'll see. Also the size of the game (over 70 gb?) is painfully undeserved for what little it actually delivers.

Good-looking and detailed enemies placed in a empty half-cooked world with basically zero content. Enemies cheat since they can read your inputs, and your time and patience gets severely wasted with checkpoints so far away and respawning enemies and bosses with absolutely zero drop-rates. Its a mess and its bad. The "story" is barebones at best and never picks up any speed or even builds any signs of sensical story-arc. The dialogues - as scarse as they are - are often nonsensical and lacking any kind of information or lore. The world is filled with nothing but mini-bosses. Its empty and void. You can explore just to find maybe some more mini-bosses (some of them get recycled a lot!), but their drop-rates are insulting so you'll ask yourself why even bother? Why even bother backtracking half the time or killing the same enemies over and over again in a pretty comical way (no dismemberment, every fight is more or less the same, you have practically zero wiggle-room or alternative ways of disposing your foes)? The leveldesign is interesting at times, but then other times its extremely bad. Empty rooms with nothing to do, misplaced use-triggers, huge ruins to explore with lifeless backtracking or missing checkpoints. To add insult to injury many keys can't get rebind (!) and the whole layout is for controllers by default!

Instead of having a Red Faction Game, they gave you a bad GTA-clone on easy-mode with 3rd Person (where you can peek behind walls and cover), undestructible terrain and boooring, boooooring downtime inbetween all the carnage. Drive to mission -> hope the mission is fun -> destroy buildings -> trigger alarm ->get swarmed by infinite amounts of enemies, with infinite amounts of reinforcements -> Flee to your base -> resupply, and drive, drive, drive again... So you never really have the time to enjoy the carnage, because your impressive (albeit flawed) destruction gets interrupted by hordes of enemies, who will require all your limited ammo-supplies to deal with them. Upgrading your arsenal takes a painfully long time and you are basically required to play on casual-difficulty, since the upgrades don't cost that much. It's still excrutiatingly slow. Destruction is enjoyable and "physically correct", but there is so much dead, empty and boring blank areas inbetween, seperated by unclimbable mountains and rocks, that you'll fall asleep when driving to your next objective again. The impressive "geomod"-engine took three steps backwards and now doesn't allow you to destroy terrain. Yeah, thats right: You can't destroy the terrain! In a Red Faction-Game!

There is so much wrong with this game. Where do I even start? Basically it has nothing to do with tactics and especially nothing with Rainbow Six anymore. - why are there no doors anywhere? No building has doors?! - no cool "slowly open door and peek" with your mousewheel anymore. A feature even the 18 (!) year old game Rainbow Six did have! - the "Operators" started out semi and pseudo-realistic but turned into a total Joke after only a year. -> now you have Characters that are like a mix of Call of Duty and Overwatch. Basically "Heroes" in a "tactical" Setting - Gampelay and rounds are essentially: Rushing in like a stressed and panicked speedrunner into buildings, breaching like crazy and shooting with guns that all have a weird little sway around the crosshair. Because anything slow and methodical wouldn't work for people with ADHS and the need to entertain huge E-sport-crowds, I guess? - the only time where you have at least a littlebit of methodical and tactical approach, is when you play with friends on "Training Grounds" (the former Terrorist Hunt"), but its nothing compared to SWAT 5 or the old Rainbow Six 3. -> All the AI-Enemies look the same, -> you can't even take bots as team-mates with you (you know, a feature even the 18 ! year old Rainbow Games had!) -> Ubi$oft nerfed the amount of "Renown" to oblivion (currency you need to unlock new characters (lol)) you get through single-player and coop-missions, so unlocking new operators takes horrendous amounts of time (~300 hours or you can spend real cash and that'll be over a hundred bucks. Just take a look at the currency-packs and the tiny amount of renown you earn ingame and do the math! There is a reason Ubi$oft keeps the Season-passes, ingame-currency and different editions as not selfexplanatory as possible!) -> Your weapons are less deadly and sometimes you'll have to shoot multiple rounds into enemies -> You can't make enemies give up / handcuff them -> downed AI-enemies will just die. They can't shoot at you or be secured or anything of this "boring tactical SWAT-stuff" So a LOT of the tention of true tactical shooters is gone. On the TECHNICAL side of things: Game cloggs 45 (!) gb on the hdd with only 14 maps (and no real bot-support and smaller mapsize in general!) compared to the 15 maps of RS 3 + 6 MP maps and additional fanmade maps = 21 maps! and runs worse with every update. Ubisoft decided to create a MOBA-Call-of-Duty-Overwatch mix for Twitch-streamers and the "E-Sports"-business, with zero intention to support the core-mechanic of tactical-shooters anymore. Their last "Playbook-Story-Trailer" made this pretty obvious.

Another one of these games where the dev does not respect your time. It has only 4 maps and you'll see these smallish maps over and over again, because you'll die. You'll die a lot. When you die, you'll lose everything but some crystals, You'll need these crystals to keep some skills. That means, you'll die very often, your progress is really minimalistic. You can spend hours not seeing more than the first two maps over and over again. You will lose all your gear and buffs and items when you die, and there is just a CHANCE you'll get your last used weapon again. Its basically a gambling-simulator, dressed as a poor mans Borderlands. The little content there is, is not bad for the first hour, but gets extremely boring and repetitive after that. Because you'll do the same thing, over and over again. With no real progress (and keep in mind, after you die, you'll basically start from scratch, with only minimalistic improvements to your skills!) You don't have a inventory-system, nor do you have any sort of stash you can put your collections in. Weapon-carry-limit of only two weapons makes this feel even more like a early 2000 mobile-game.

In fact it consists of an annoying and totally hollow game-mechanic! A XP-System that deludes you into achieving something, and is obviously a cover up for the bug-riddled gameplay and hostile game-enviroment with more random deaths and unfair gameplay every round! When I first did sink many hours into the game, I couldn't think of anything really wrong with it, since its free. Its free, so all the grinding is excusable, right? Especially since the incredibly fun and fluid gameplay IS the grind, right? This couldn't be further away from the truth, unfortunately! While the combat and movement is something I've never experienced before, your progress and fun gameplay comes to a grinding-halt when you are stopped dead in the tracks everytime. Planets and story-bits are blocked away behind a tedious wall like Mastery-Ranks, requirements for junctions and waiting-lines for neccessary gear. Literally TONS of content are locked away from you, put behind artificial progression-blockers (need Item A to enter Planet B but to get Item A you need Component XYZ that can only be farmed at E and E is unaccessible since you need the Junction for C). Its simply no fun to open the Wiki and siff through forums only to progress through the game. You can waste infinitive hours doing "missions" that don't progress your game. You can then be forced into upgrading weapons that are **** just because another artificial progression-blocker requires you to do so. The goal of aquiring the Warframes you really want is an extremely frustrating task. Bosses you killed for one sort of Frameparts, can appear again in a truly unfair form that require you to do boss-fights that are zero fun or they are unavailable due to inaccessible Planets! You can literally waste up to 1000 hours and not even achieve your desired loadout! And to get to this number of wasted hours in this game, you'll start confused, lost and slapped in the face with the interface and deliberatley weird progression-system (I've never encountered a game thats so hostile for beginners. While the community is great and tries to help you where they can, the interface and "Campaign" is deliberately confusing, bad designed and unintuitive!). Sure, all can be turned off, but some areas are so cramped that you'll be catching yourself doing the X-Ray just "one more time" (instead of letting the camera show you the position and make you figure out the best way of approach!) Are the huge maps beautiful and full of life? Yes, they are. But there are only 6 maps! (!!!) And where Blood Money gave you replayability with enhanced guns - guns you could mod and upgrade with your earned money (none of that here!), here its just some new "tasks" to do, all of them right in your face (surely to sell you more DLC-guns in the future!). No more figuring out different strategies for yourself, the game tells you nearly every way of kills! Even with the handholding turned off, the "online contracts" are shoved into your throat, giving away all of the pre-planning! The story tries to demystify 47 again, with painfully bad dialogue and a plot thats written like laughable fanfiction by a teenager (47 reveals his identity and uses a magical serum to bring back his memories !). Cutscenes aren't animated anymore and there aren't any additional animated informations on your missions-PDA (you know? like even the first Hitman from 2000 had!). Like I said: Even with all the hand-holding deactivated, the game plays like on rails, and tries to hang the carrot in front of your face like "new weapons" (Pistols shoot all the same btw!) or entry-points. The controls are dumbed down (again) and illogical at times (E for use but G for different actions). ALLWAYS ONLINE: In case your internet-connection dies (like - who knows? Provider needs to fix the cables, slow internet, playing somewhere without internet), your GAME DIES! In Offline you can't change entry-points (you know? the whole point of the f******g "reward"-systen in "Hitman" ?!) and your load-out-screen freezes! When in Offline, you don't have any statistics after finishing the level. Great isn't it? (the statistics are ugly anyway, since they don't come in the cool Blood-Money-Styled media-coverage!). Freezes, framerate-drops and crashes occur even after so many patches that its ridiculous at times (thanks to Denuvo). All in all its not a real Hitman-game. Its more of a puzzle-solving-game, that wants you to finish the puzzle in a specific order and punishes you if you try different ways (especially if these ways involve fire-arms!).

Breathtaking enviroments, sometimes a gripping and entertaining coop-experience that shines when you clear a camp while providing cover-fire from a distance and let your buddies get close! But: The single-player gets boring very fast, because there are not enough ways to approach objectives and the AI - while doing a decent job - just can't do that many experiments you would try! The Coop-experience on the other hand CAN turn this game into a "tactic"-sort-of mix of Just Cause and Far Cry! But weapons shoot like garden-hoses with a ridiculous bullet-drop and a laughable travel-speed of your bullets. Problem is: All the "missions" are getting repetitive very fast! There is not much variety and once you completed multiple Raids, liberated some camps and hijacked another convoy, you've done it all! Its a wasted opportunity, because the landscapes look very, very good, but are filled with all the same missions and tasks!

Looks fantastic (excluding the ugly lensflares!), sounds fantastic and is perfectly optimized AND has destructable enviroments (only at predetermined locations, it it isn't REALLY a destructable enviroment. Red Faction 1 did a better job than this!) The Singleplayer-Campaign is way too short and its too much "gameplay on rails" with not enough freedom and supersmall maps with invisible walls! Multiplayer is Call of Duty with vehicles and overpowered Iron Mans running around. Nothing more. Zero tactics, everyone is running around like a headles chicken, you kill, you die, you kill, you die. No room for vehicles as the maps are way too small, with invisible walls EVERYWHERE! And don't forget the ugly lensflares covering your screen! Can't deactivate them. The Hipster-designer who thought covering half the screen with unrealistic and oversized Hollywood-lensflares should just stop working on games forever.

One of the best tactical-shooters ever! Especially when playing Coop! Without proper planning and communication you'll get slapped with the difficulty in your face. Repeatedly. With a wet towel. Until you learn to move slowly, to keep an eye on your surroundings and to work as a team! Difficulty can be artificially hard and unfair at times, and some minor bugs can tarnish the whole experience at times, but the gripping and heart-stopping moments when you are under fire and really hear the bullets hit everything around you, after a foreboding silence are still the best coop-experiences I ever had in a tactical shooter! Only real complaint I have is the missing Coop-Support in Steam! Why Ubi$oft still hasn't patched a proper Online-Feature via Steam in and lets this great game die a slow death is beyond me! We need more games like this! Games that exist between beeing a clunky ARMA and a casualized Battlefield!

A game that tries to be Red Orchestra and Medal of Honor Multiplayer at once and fails. While I can appreciate the genius artstyle and mindblowing sound-design that doesn't need to hide behind Battlefail, its still a chore. You spent most of the time waiting or cursing because you can't change the team! And you know whats the most relaxing thing after work? Playing a s a mass-murdering **** because the game-mode doesn't allow you to change anything. If this wasn't bad enough, the lag and stupid choke-points on the maps kill the fun you have faster, than you can refund this game! If this game tries to emulate the horrors and annoyance of war, it succeeds. You die often and you have to spend too much time with waiting and hoping it'll be worth this time. WHAT is it with "modern" shooters, that they can't get the gunplay and coop-experience right?! I've played mods for the old Doom that had better atmosphere and Coop-Support!

Why people are praising this Battlefail over and over is beyond me. Yeah, the sound is breathtaking, so what? It doesn't make a good game! Battlefail BC is just another military shooter that embodies everything thats annoying, tedious and insulting about "modern military bullshooters"! The campaign is a painfull chore. It caused me literally physical pain to watch and play and wait during the waste-of-time campaign! If you are expecting large battles on huge maps, just like multiplayer, but against enemy-AI: Guess again! The maps are small, surrounded by invisible walls everywhere, the game stops to handhold and babypowder you every 5 minutes, you are walking practically through a corridor all the time. The enemy-AI is braindead, your buddies just don't want to shut up and you are forced to follow some **** instead of playing the game! Multiplayer is the same, but maybe worst! High-level players kill you with one bullet, while you have to empty a whole magazine into their brain. Kill - die-kill-die-...rince and repeat. Refunding this game was the only joy I got out of this (interactive movie on rails would be more accurate!).

This is maybe the most realistic depiction of War ever! You die a lot, you are surrounded by campers, enemies pick you off at choke-points, your allies and enemies feel superior in every way, you die a lot, you start camping by yourself, you survive by pure luck, you devolve into the "skill"-sets of veterans which means you learn the choke-points, and camp, and kill everyone off at the spawnpoint, and you die a lot. War is not fun, neither is this camping- and dying-simulator! (still no Coop-Campaign! Just huge maps filled with cheating super-aim-bots!)

Reviewing the STEAM-Version in 2017: San Andreas didn't age well. The trees, the sky, the water and the textures look like a muddy mess! For whatever reason small patches that were included in the Retail-Version (like dirt on the cars and better visibility) aren't in the Steam Version. They also cut out many music-tracks due to copyright-bs! But the by far WORST part is the hostility towards modders! The structure of the engine and the source-code are so convoluted and packed behind barriers, that modding is like stabbing yourself in the arse multiple times with a rusty knife! To say it simple: Modding for GTA San Andreas is a pure waste of time and ressources! Did you wonder why you only see maybe 2 Videos of a modded HD GTA San Andreas on Youtube and even less tutorials for modding? Its because modding this hostile software is a pain in the d***! You'll need at least 2 seperate programs to insert mods and before that you'll need to convert the whole game into an early non-steam Version and pray that it will even start! The process of converting can f*** up important core-files of your game, so its possible that you'll have to reinstall the whole mess again, and if you are one of the few lucky ones, inserting the mods can create graphical glitches or it just doesn't do it at all. And don't forget: All the external programs to make your GTA SA look like one of these high-polished YT-modder-videos are incompatible among themselves!!! So if you want HD-walls and that one particular remodelled muscle-car: Never gonna happen! You ever wondered why there are thousands of mods for Half Life, Doom, Quake and even GTA V ? Because the Programmers didn't hide their source-code behind a **** like a underpaid worker in the love-business in paranoid-land! The game itself is plagued by clunky driving and flying-controls (mouse-steering isn't disabled by default!!!). You would guess they did at least get that right in a game mainly revolving around driving and shooting, but no. The Main Character is out of breath after 5 seconds of running and you'll have to go weight-lifting with QTE's to run a second longer. Also it lacks funny and extreme characters like in GTA IV and V! Best game ever made? Not by a long shot!

Good Ideas, but man are the trailers, screenshots and positive fanboy-reviews misleading! This "game" just doesn't work at all! It doesn't work on a "simulation"-Level and it doesn't work as a "open world"-RPG-RTS. It's just a clunky mess of half-a**** ideas and bad implemented everything! But let me start at the beginning: The (optional) tutorial is pretty useless, since it doesn't explain most important basics to you. Yes you learn "fight" with different weapons, cope with a unresponsive control-system that was clearly designed with a motion-control in mind or a not-thought-through-idea of ... erm... "realism" in mind. But it doesn't introduce you to so many important points like commanding your troops, cope with multiple enemies, give you feedback ... nada! If you expect combat-mechanics like in Skyrim with a mix of Dark Messiah of M&M or Chivalry, put your expectations far away! You are in for a unresponsive and buggy mess. Arrows can go just through your enemies without even hurting them, hit-detection of your melee-weapons is right off buggy and you can't even run! Since there is no gore you just have to rely on a little text that tells you how much damage you actually deal. This buggy mess tries to give you the impression of a medi eval-battle-sim, and can't even manage to add gore by default! Prepare to get backstabbed a lot. You are NOT travelling through a huge world like trailers and screenshots might suggest. No! You are just slowly moving on an overwold map, clicking with your mouse and waiting sometimes for a response. The (often random) battles are fought in a relatively small area with invisible walls everywhere! The OST. A mess like everything else in this game. The most random, unepic and generic "medi-eval"-songs shoved into low-quality .ogg files, you can imagine.(Hell! They even put in a Hallelujah-Chorus! WTF?!) Looped of course! No way getting mods for music replacements! ("Dialogues" are presented in an ugly interface and are at least interesting to read, but your choices are totally irellevant, since yourt options often give you random answers. For example: A Guy at the bar talks to me about joining my army. Why would I ask hima bout a kidnapping I never even heard of before in response?! ANd man, why isn't it at least half-way voiced - like BG managed years ago?!) It's a shame you are expected to pay 20 bucks for this unpolished waste of time (and 20 another bucks for a DLC with guns...)!

I really really really want to like this game, and trying all I can to enjoy the extremly easy fights, but its getting old really fast. 6-8 missions in the game you start seeing the pattern, they all look alike, and they are all on the same spots. So at the camp you just rescued a guy, you now have to find a new weapon schematic, or kill some officer. It gets really repetetive really fast. (ESCORT MISSIONS!!! NO ONE LIKES THEM!) The traveltime in this game is horrible, you spend 40% of the game running from a to b, and the time spend flying in your chopper just seems to badly made. You have to watch yourself fly at least 1 minute either from takeoff or landing, this gets old really fast. It takes about 3-4 minutes to ride from one small camp to another, and the desert/mountain scenario gets old REALLY fast. You cant get more than 1 thing in your supply drop, so you have to wait allmost 1 minute from you order something, till it hits the ground, then buy 1 more thing and wait another minute. The weapon customization options are pitiful when you finally do unlock them, and most changes to the guns don't ACTUALLY do ANYTHING. I've literally found around three parts that make changes to the base gun model. It's good for nothing more than painting your guns or adding flashlights though god only knows why the **** you'd bother with those. It's literally Far Cry 2 with even LESS areas to explore. You will find yourself mind numbingly stumbling through the game later on taking down hostiles and picking up resources just because you've gotten to a point where you're going through the motions, the areas are totally uninspired, even if they are gorgeous to look at. You do openly have the freedom to approach missions in almost anyway you want, that is, whenever snake isn't randomly sliding down inclines that I could easily crawl up myself. you cant even rebind the majority of the keys or save the game (even MGS1 let you save more or less freely!). bad console port. requested a refund.

- This Version is NOT moddable! (!) - Cutscenes are unskippable. - there is NO Editor! - sound-design is very, very bad! Everything sounds like an old kitchen-radio. - The weapons, especially the shotgun sound like a plastic-gun. (the most iconic doom-gun, the Shotgun ! sounds so poorly recorded that it's a shame!). - Killed enemies dissapear (!) - Less gore than in Doom 1 & 2. - It's too dark. I know it wants to create a "spooky" and dark atmosphere. But imho it fails and can't deliver much more then cheap Jumpscares (and hides many well build and textured assets in the world) - less enemies than the predecessors - much slower gameplay than the first two games! - boring dark hallways with the same linear leveldesign from the beginning to the end! I personally wouldn't recommend the BFG-Edition and would rather say: Go buy doom 1 & 2 instead, install the Brutal Doom-mod and have the fun of your lifetime (especially with some of the enhanced and remixed soundtracks like DoomMetal!) It has even a coop-mode!

Don't get fooled by the praise and the good reviews from suposedly "Horror Fans". There is nothing scary or creepy about this game. Sure, it can make you feel uncomfortable or stressed, but it's like splashing your face with a bucket of blood and guts and asking you if you are scared. The best definition of scary Horror would be the unknown. Something so surreal that your mind can't handle it and answers with fear. Nothing about that here. A mad butcher as seen hundreds and millions of times in movies and other games, blood and guts everywhere, thats a cheap effect that wears off quickly. "Traps" that are predictable and you allways know that you are gonna make it. Everything has been seen before and the missing subtle horror gives this game the feeling of a action game with clunky controls. Obviously made for People who think Horror consists of "BLOOD EVERYWHERE, HERE GET SOME IN YOUR FACE!" and Cheap, predictable Jumpscares. Someone remembers the Lakeview-Hotel-Level in SH2 ? Or the atmosphere that build up and you ran into the "they come" sign? The thrilling soundtrack and some unrecognizable noises around you? The feeling that it got worse and worse? This game is a mod with more wishfull thinking and another product of "be thankful because we don't have many of them!" than most Greenlight or Kickstarter games could hope for. If you are willing to spend actual money for a mod, be warned: There are flaws that will kill your enjoyment for this game faster then you can say "tactical FPS"! First of all: Be prepared to get killed by your team-mates "just for fun". Or kicked... Get frustrated when some trolls enter your cooperative-session and ruin the fun for all of you by shooting yo in the head. Get this: There is NO OPTION TO HOST A PRIVATE MATCH! You are forced to cope with random people on the internet! (yes, of course you can create a match after some port forwarding and console commands... but seriously?!). Or you could do what the devs were too lazy for: create a steam-server-tool via Steam, rewrite some configs and hope for the best! The game itself: Pretty intense firefights! The will get your heart rushing! BUT: The bottleneck leveldesign doesn't allow for much tactical approach. The game-mode is getting repetitive very fast: secure checkpoint defend checkpoint rince and repeat.... and hope it doesn't lag or crash! It seems the devs spent more time creating detailed weapon-models and recreating some kind of CS instead of fixing bugs and integrating a simple server-tool!

After the newest patch and the closure of the auction-house, Diablo 3 is finally playable! (at least when they don't screw with their servers and you are not allowed to play the game you payed for). The Drop-Rate is ... now more fluid. I don't know if its really better, there are too much golden Items in my opinions and I had a run where I found 3 legendaries in a simple run. Rewarding? Yes, of course but it lessens the worth of it. The game itself deserves a good 8.0 or at least a 8.5. Its addicting like you would expect and the interactions between the characters (the dialogues) are often nice to hear. THe rest ius common and masterful created addiction for slay and loot. The "new" implemented "Paragon-Level" allows you to set your skill-points freely and the rune-Skill-system is still a very nice Idea for switching and testing a mindblowingly number of Skill-Sets! The music is... unfortunately very forgettable and boring. It sounds like the Soundtrack to a Michael-Bay-Film without the extreme fine nuances and atmosphere-pumping originality of the Diablo 2-Tracks. It is even more a regrettable decision by blizzard to implement this trumped-flat-bore-Music-track (that you will hear in every other "big bugdet"-title nowadays), because ALL people I know turned the music down after max 2 weeks. It's a shame that there is no way to implement the great Soundtracks of Diablo 2 or Warcraft (yes, these fit surprisingly well!). Like I said: The game itself deserves a nice amount of applause. The rest of it - especially the poor support! deserve a hateful middlefinger! Direct Support for Connection-Errors, Suggestions or Mod-Support (I know... what where I thinking?) or other simple questions are IMPOSSIBLE to get! the "Support"-Site is a Joke, you are always redirected to the forums where other people already opened similar questions and waiting for help until no help arrives and their Topic gets closed! Critical topics are getting deleted of course. In one word: Censorship. It's sometimes hilarious to watch how the community gets **** in the face and foced to eat the dump, but rages against the people who don't want to get treated like cattle. So, the community and the company are nearly the worst I have met in my entire lifetime (nearly horrid as the CoD-Kiddies). I am very glad the game was a gift and it didn't cost that much. Oh wait... did I mention the overprized DLC?! A DLC that is MORE EXPENSIVE than the main-game?! Unbelievable! And the award to the most hostile and greedy Company goes to... EA.. .. I meant: Blizzard! **** YOU **** No more money from me!
