A hugely ambitious and imaginative, but still very roughly hewn, simulation of medieval combat.

Combining hardcore roleplaying with deep combat, and throwing in a Counterstrike-esque multiplayer mode, this sort-of-budget game has more longevity than most full-priced, big-name-studio games. If you can get past the ugly façade, Mount and Blade: Warband is well worth a look.
Better graphics, gameplay and new multiplayer modes makes this Mount and Blade Warband a must buy for everyone likes its predecessor. Now we just have to wait for the loads of great mods will come out in the next months.

There is no game like this. Warband and Bannerlord is the unique games. That freedom is lovable. You can be whoever you want. World is not starting with you. There is world and you become part of it. And with the mods the game is literally infinite. There is just one game which is provide this moddability and it is minecraft. These games is piece of art. Thank you Talesworld

For those that stick around, however, Mount & Blade Warband remains every bit the gem of a game that its predecessor was; more so, actually.

Mount & Blade: Warpath can be a very overwhelming game given the sheer amount of complexity, but gamers who stick with it and get past the steep learning curve will have a good time.

Warband doesn't offer much new besides the enjoyable multiplayer, but what it does offer makes it the best version of Mount & Blade so far. If you haven't played Mount & Blade before, you should definitely play Warband.

Janky but deeply rewarding. Its sandbox freedom is impressive, though clunky visuals, stiff animations, and a lack of narrative depth make it a tough sell without mods.

A terrible tutorial, or lack there of. Caused me to waste so many hours and I am no where up to speed. Great idea with some terrible execution. Unless you enjoy wasting 20 (unenjoyable) hours learning, find a different game.

Worse than its predecessor, better graphics and more options to do in RP, but worse combat and AI. Fancy combat moves which have no place and mostly wont hit, like mounted attack right into horses head. Rubber horses are back, even in my favourite mod Brytenwalda. I still like first game most of all M&B's.
