Arma 3 is an improvement over the previous ones, but the game still suffers from clunky interface and lackluster AI. For an Arma fan like myself, though, it is the best Arma so far. [Oct 2013]

There's something about Bohemia's world-building that inspires people. Importantly though, Arma 3's vanilla content now stands on equal footing with those third-party inspirations. It's still a little rough around the edges, but it's a darned impressive package nonetheless.

I rate this game only with mods! Without mods, I don't particularly like its lore, sound, detail, quality and I would give it a much lower bad (no more than 7.5) However, the strength of this game is in the mods. It is the mods that smooth out the corners and add everything that it lacks and there are countless mods. Together with amazing mods, this game, even after 11 years of its release, has no analogues! Its scale is simply unsurpassed, the integrated Editor - is a dream for any other game, that welcomes creativity. Together with mods - Fantastic package!

The newest installment of Bohemia's military-game is a product with great potential, especially from the community’s side. Unfortunately Arma 3 is quite inaccessible and doesn't seem to grow along with modern game design on certain fronts. It's a game that lives through the community.

Arma 3 makes big steps forward with a huge world and more vehicles and weapons. This time around its trump card is Steam workshop integration though, making downloading mods effortless. A smart move by Bohemia Interactive because it are those mods that will give Arma 3 its long lifespan. Unfortunately Arma 3 is quite inaccessible and doesn't seem to grow along with modern game design on certain fronts. Space time and perseverance are your best friends here, until Bohemia's support starts paying off.

Arma 3 is as much a tool as it is a game, and it is by far the best tool Bohemia has created so far. Its not perfect though, and it's still a product for a very specific audience. I wish a few compromises had been made to make it more accessible and fun.

Buy into Arma 3 now and you’re buying into many promises. Bohemia’s pledge of a coherent campaign, its promise of a wider array of military toys to play with, and its intent to tweak and update AI errors, scripting issues, and pathfinding problems. But these promises are backed up by thousands of the world’s most dedicated players, people who’ve spent years crawling through Arma 2’s rough terrain to find the comparatively even ground of Arma 3. Buying Arma 3 at launch is buying a promise, then, but few games are so meticulously realised, or show so much promise.

When it clicks, the game is second-to-none which is why I’ll continue to play despite its many issues. With no campaign, spotty multiplayer, and poor canned scenarios, Arma III just isn’t a complete product at this time.

Bu oyun benim gizli ve utandığım hayranlığımdır. Ucu açık sandbox olması çok içine çekti. Sorduklarında askerliğimi Arma 3'te yaptım diyorum.

The game is really quite realistic and you can have an interesting time with other players. But without buying DLC, there's almost nothing to do in it. Without DCL, most equipment and locations are blocked.

Even with a PC FAR above the recommended requirements you will run the game at 45fps and with frequent drops. And the bugs... Aaaaahhh, the bugs!!! An avalanche of them. Amazing how you can't open a simple door in the game without losing your sanity. The commands are confusing and not intuitive. You need to remap several keyboard shortcuts to get your bearings. There is still a flurry of DLC's (which cost an arm and a leg by the way) with additional content that doesn't justify the price, obviously. If the game is alive, it's because of the community's effort to create mods, etc. Bohemia Interactive looks like Bethesda: they release the game full of problems and let the community solve this. Keep your wages gentlemen, it's the best thing to do.

I begin to played aaaand I'm gone. I feel that bohemian only do an ok game. Fulfills what it promises but nothing more than that. I really bothers the Npc that does not respond to commands and will face them alone against the world as one tries to face the enemy from a point of view more strategic and not touching the front door. That among the other many things I prefer to bury them along with this game. Too bad Bohemian. Too bad.
