A much needed radical change of setting worked great. It’s still obvious you’re playing a Battlefield game, but it offers a lot of period specific elements you won’t find in other war themed shooters. I was delighted with Battlefield 1’s multiplayer, but unfortunately the single player campaign is very uneven and leaves the aftertaste of squandered potential of a great setting. [12/2016, p.36]

after 2000 hrs it will go down as one of my favorite games. I went in and out of playing it but rarely do I find myself angry at the game itself more my own errors. the Beauty of the game is breathtaking and the attention to detail is astonishing the only problem I've ever had was being disconnected from my EA account and I was locked out of online. Once I troubleshooted it and fixed it it has been smooth sailing. the campaign is like a movie (I would say that it would make a phenomenal movie) I mean the cutscene at the end of "friends in high places"-campaign- is such a spectacle to watch. this game is one that is tedious to get into referring to the online mode but once you do, you wont look back.

Ce jeu devrait être étudié à l'école. Les cas sont uniques et représentent des vrais évènements et des vrais soldats de la Première Guerre mondiale. Un chef d'œuvre toujours indétrôné et probablement indétronable tellement le gameplay apporte une immersion totale et des émotions au joueur.

Battlefield is back in shape and more so with fresh theme of the first Great War! After a long time, the campaign is successful and multiplayer is traditionally excellent. So, this year your choice is set! [Issue #269]

Battlefield 1 offers hands down the best graphics of any shooter, nay, any game to date. While its single-player-campaign is – again – unnecessary drivel, as short as it is forgettable, the multi-player-offering is in a league of its own. If you only buy one shooter this year, make it Battlefield 1.

Not only does DICE deliver their best campaign to date this side of Bad Company. It also pushes online-multiplayer to new heights with atmospheric battles and intense gunfights.

Battlefield 1 delivers on almost every promise made, and it sure is one of the best FPSs of the end of the year. We only wish it could have had fewer bugs and a bit more historic accuracy, but as long as the gameplay is addictive, we're satisfied.

Close combat, ragdoll explosions, mud, poison gas, and the violence of one of the bloodiest conflicts in history mix with pigeon babysitting. War Pigeons is a good summary of Battlefield 1 in general.

I was really in the mood for a World War I campaign. It happened to line up perfectly with me reading Fall of Giants, and I’ve been really immersing myself—in a good way—in World War I.
It’s mind-blowing that this game is 10 years old and still looks this good.

Disgracefully overrated game. There is no Serbia in it which played main role in beginning and ending of conflict. Graphics are somewhat good, gunplay similar to CoD robot like fast movement reload with guns looking shiny like toys. Missions are not so good, they are not well designed, there is no hud or navigation system.
